This study aims to describe the causes of decreased resilience of street kids and also to describe the factors that make children classified as having resilience or not. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects in this study were street kids who to school at the Diponegoro Halfway House.             Collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the resilience of the four research subjects. Subjects had the ability of seven aspects of resilience with different strengths. Economic conditions and parental affection are several reasons why children take to the streets. At their age, who should be used to study in school, it is still a big task for educators. Not all street children who go to school have good resilience abilities, as the results of this study. The results showed that in general the street kids at Diponegoro Halfway House had good abilities and there was one subject who was not resilient. The different in strength is due to family background, the origin, of the child taking to different paths and associations at school.  Keywords : resilience, street kids.

Appropriate counseling and education can be adopted to achieve a change in attitude, knowledge and perception. Still there is a wrong perception of a given intervention. Peer support through a process of social learning, the process of growing understanding of how to process information from experience, observational include: attention (attention), given (retention), reproduction of motion (reproduction), motivation (motivation), and communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze resident self-efficacy to regardless of drug addiction through family support. This study employed qualitative approach with case study design. Subjects in this study were residents, ex drugs user, peer support, and resident family. The results showed that peer support from fellow residents and the support of the major on duty (MOD) very meaningful and helpful for resident in the healing process.

This study aims to analyze student mathematical literacy ability from the perspective of students' Mathematical Ability. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were three students of XI IPA 1 MAN 1 Padang with different mathematical abilities: low, medium, and high. Data were collected through documentation, tests, and interviews. The results of the analysis show that students with high abilities can solve routine problems, interpret problems and solve them with formulas, carry out procedures well, can deal with complex situations, use their reasoning in solving problems, can work effectively and interpret different representations and then relate them to the real world. Students with moderate abilities can solve routine problems, interpret problems and solve them with formulas, and carry out procedures properly. Meanwhile, students with low abilities are only able to solve routine questions. Based on these results, it is necessary to look for strategies in the mathematics learning process, which enable the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills.

The article describes and analyzes ta’lim ma’hadi in al-Hikam Malang Student Islamic Boarding School and the values implemented to develop the moderate character of the mahasantri religion. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data in this study were taken through interviews, observation, and document techniques. This study indicates that the al-Hikam Malang student boarding school uses three strategies in religious moderation, namely, nurturing patterns, teaching patterns, and religious patterns. The three strategies are integral in the curriculum that is implemented there. Through the applied curriculum, kyai and asatidz as qudwah hasanah internalize the values of justice, balance, harmony, moderation. As well as being a moderate Muslim, the mahasantri al-Hikam graduate is expected to become a successful entrepreneur.

Attitude is essential issue to be considered in designing an appropriate learning for learners because it greatly affects the performance and implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. One of the most important attitudes to be explored is the willingness of teachers to implement the curriculum set by the government. This study aims to determine the willingness of English teachers to carry out scientific approach and also to know the implementation of scientific approach in the learning. This research applies qualitative approach with case study design. It is conducted in SMAN 1 Situbondo with three teachers become the informants. Interview and observation are implemented to explore the willingness and the implementation of Scientific Approach. Data analysis in this research using Spradley’s method. From this research, it can be seen that the teachers has enough willingness to apply scientific approach totally. Furthermore, the implementation of scientific approach has been implemented well enough and has implemented it in accordance with government regulation.

This study aims to explain how the use of word of mouth communication <em>(getok tular)</em> and the rational behind the usege as a method of da’wah within Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI). This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. The results of the study revealed that the word of mouth communication was applied for two activities, namely as a method of delivering da’wah messages and as a method of cadre with a chain system to official members who were stratified based on the study book or HTI curriculum. The reason why HTI used word of mouth communication as a method of da’wah was because of the effectiveness and efficiency factors as well as sociocultural factors.

The objective of this article is to explain the challenges that occur in establishing customary villages. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. This study uses thematic analysis, which aims to identify patterns and determine themes. Data collected using interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that there were four challenges in making regional regulations for the establishment of customary villages: first, the drafting period for the determination of customary villages was carried out in a short period. Second, not prioritizing socialization. Third, local wisdom is considered less critical for the sub-district government. Fourth, there is no follow-up from the local government to establish local regulations. The results of this study have implications for the miscommunication of local governments in understanding the village law no. 6/2014. As a result, local governments have not fully rearticulated the village law regarding the establishment of customary villages.

Relational understanding constitutes students’ awareness of appropriate procedures to solve problems along with logical reasoning.  Itis pivotal to help students solve problems in mathematics. It is necessary that the teaching of mathematics be directed to achieve relational understanding. Accordingly, students are capable of solving complicated problems in mathematics. This current research aims at analyzing and describing relational understanding and the patterns of answering questions of the fifth graders on integer operation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study as the research design. Further, three students belonging to the fifth grade of Elementary School in Malang City, Indonesia, were set up as the research subjects. A test was administered to measure the subjects' relational understanding. All collected data were analyzed using an interactive technique. The result has indicated that the highly-proficient student was able to show excellent relational understanding. Besides, it was shown that the fairly-proficient student could show good relational understanding. The lowly-proficient student was shown to be able to achieve only half of the holistic criteria set for relational understanding. The patterns of answering the questions demonstrated by all students in all levels included jotting down the models, completing the models, and answering the questions. The highly-proficient student understood the information and wrote it down. Whilst the fairly-proficient student understood the information without translating it into the written form. At last, the lowly-proficient student did not pronounce any signals of understanding of the information

This study discusses the existence of traditional birth attendant services in the district. Bangko till now. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors that influence pregnant women to give birth by using traditional birth attendants and also services provided by traditional birth attendants to pregnant women. This research is a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. The methods used in data collection were participatory observation and interviews, with informants, namely mothers who had given birth to traditional birth attendant and traditional birth attendant themselves. The results of the study are the factors that influence pregnant women who give birth with traditional birth attendants, namely the existence of hereditary habits, beliefs, social relations between patients and traditional birth attendants, social and economic conditions and background of mothers who give birth at a traditional birth attendant, more services for the traditional birth attendant. plenary, far health service distance with difficult transportation, and fear of using medical equipment. While the care provided by the traditional birth attendant includes examination of the patient's womb, the delivery process, and post-delivery services.

The study was a case study design aimed at determining the causes and levels of truancy among secondary school students, using Rivers State, Nigeria. The research sample consisted of 105 teachers and was purposefully sampled. Four research questions and one hypothesis were posed, formulated and tested respectively. A structured questionnaire was developed, validated and administered to the respondents selected for the study. T-test, standard deviation and mean were used to analyze the data collected. The results indicated that there is a significant difference between family background and student factor. The implication of this is that the student’s family background contributes greatly to the student’s level of truancy. Hence, the null hypothesis was rejected. Based on the findings, some recommendations were made towards the reducing the level of truancy among secondary school students. The Dirosati method is the easiest method to apply to early childhood children. TPQ Nurul Falah is one of the Qur'an Education Parks located in Bringin Lawang Village, Jenggawah District, Jember Regency which uses the Dirosati learning method, using this method TPQ Nurul Falah has grown rapidly since 2002-now with approximately 500 students. The focus of the research studied in the Real Work Lecture from Home program is, 1) How is the implementation of the Dirosati method in improving the ability to read Quran in TPQ Nurul Falah, 2) How is the evaluation of the Dirosati learning method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at TPQ Nurul Falah. The objectives in this program are 1) to describe the implementation of the Dirosati method in improving the ability to read the Quran in TPQ Nurul Falah, 2) to describe the evaluation of the Dirosati learning method in improving the ability to read the Quran in TPQ Nurul Falah. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach (Juridical Empirical) and will be developed by researchers with a case study design, namely analyzing the application of the Dirosati method in developing early reading skills in children at TPQ Nurul Falah Bringin Lawang Jenggawah, as for the type of approach using the Triangulation method (Observation, interviews and documentation). TPQ Nurul Falah adalah salah satu Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an yang berada di Desa Bringin Lawang, Kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten Jember, yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Dirosati, dengan menggunakan metode ini TPQ Nurul Falah berkembang pesat sejak tahun 2002 hingga sekarang dengan jumlah santri kurang lebih 500 orang. Fokus penelitian yang diteliti dalam program Kuliah Kerja Nyata dari rumah ini adalah 1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan metode dirosati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ Nurul Falah; 2) Bagaimana evaluasi metode pembelajaran dirosati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ Nurul Falah. Tujuan dalam program ini: 1)untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan metode dirosati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ Nurul Falah, 2)untuk mendiskripsikan evaluasi metode pembelajaran dirosati dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ Nurul Falah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif (yuridis empiris) dan akan dikembangkan oleh peneliti dengan desain studi kasus yakni menganalisa penerapan metode Dirosati dalam mengembangkan kemampuan baca sejak dini pada anak di TPQ Nurul Falah Bringin Lawang, Jenggawah, adapun jenis pendekatan dengan metode triangulasi (observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi).
