This service program was held at the Ma'had Rizqullah Islamic boarding school located in Sungai Duren Intersection, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency. Besides having a function as an Islamic educational institution, Islamic boarding schools also have a role as a driver of change and development in society. One of the real activities carried out by Islamic boarding schools can be seen through activities that can stimulate, explore, improve socio-economic communities and strive to develop productive enterprises through entrepreneurship by utilizing available resources so that people have the opportunity to obtain a decent life. Opportunities for the emergence of symbiotic mutualism cooperation between the surrounding community and Islamic boarding schools can also be formed, both in terms of the economy with the development of productive enterprises, as well as improving the quality of religious knowledge of the wider community. Therefore, the generation born in Islamic boarding school education is an agent of change that is beneficial in community development and the education process. Used goods are waste that is usually thrown away, but can be recycled like cardboard waste, bottles and plastic cups we often see scattered everywhere. The used goods can be utilized through creativity and art so that they have high artistic value and economic value. This program aims to introduce used goods that can be used as a work of art that can provide added value for improving the economy of the community and Islamic boarding schools

Islamic boarding schools are known to be able to give birth to the Qur'an's tahfidz. With the memorization program, the halaqah about the basic text of the religion makes the Islamic boarding schools increasingly known to the community as an educational institution and a strong milestone of religious knowledge that can bring blessings. The purpose of this study was to predict the level of rote learning of the students at the Tahfiz Lan Tabur Pagaralam Islamic Boarding School. Thus, it is easier for Islamic boarding schools to take strategies to improve the quality of students themselves. The data processed in this study are data sourced from the Natural Boarding School of Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Lan Tabur Pagaralam. Based on the number of students who memorized the Al-Qur'an or Tahfidz in the 2017 to 2019 class which is processed by Monte Carlo algorithm simulation. The processing step is to bring up a random number from the sampling data that has been taken. The results of testing on this method found that the system used to predict the level of memorization of the Al-Qur'an with an average accuracy of 84% in 2018 and an average accuracy of 88% in 2019. With a high degree of accuracy, simulations performed using the Monte Carlo algorithm can predict the number of students memorized by the Qur'an, making it easier for Islamic boarding schools to obtain information about the likelihood of future events at the level of memorization of students at Islamic boarding schools Alam Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Lan Tabur Pagaralam.

Islamic boarding schools have an important role in Indonesia not only in developing religious knowledge but also in the building of character for the nation. With 26,000 schools in 2018 and around 4 million students recorded, Islamic boarding schools are among one of the various institutions in Indonesia that partake in the field of education. Islamic boarding schools also have a role in the country's economic development. However, regarding financial management as an educational institution, many Islamic boarding schools still utilise manual record-keeping methods. Such methods are currently insufficient to facilitate institutional development. The Al-Mahali Islamic boarding school is well aware of this issue and took the initiative to invite speakers from Economics Faculty of Pakuan University to share their knowledge on financial record-keeping in conformity with financial accounting standards (PSAK 45, SAK ETAP, and SAKSyariah). The knowledge-sharing program was held in an SAK based accounting training activity for the financial administration of Al-Mahali Islamic boarding school and students in general as a provision to expand their knowledge. The program was carried out smoothly and was greeted with enthusiasm by the participants. A follow-up mentoring session was planned to be held in the future regarding the implementation of SAK.

<p><em>The empowerment of santri is a positive effort in realizing the goals of Islamic boarding schools in equipping students with religious knowledge and general science. This study aims to describe and to analyze the empowerment of santri in the Al Qohar Islamic Boarding School Klaten trough the development of creative economic products “Kimi Bag” as an effort to strengthen the soul of santri entrepreneurship. Santri can improve creativity and innovative abilities in developing creative economic ventures. Education and training is carried out by involving santri especially in production activities. The development of “Kimi Bag” products which are able to penetrate foreign markets provide added value for the santri in building motivation and enthusiasm for santri entrepreneurship. This santri empowerment program is expected to be able to instill a spirit of entrepreneurship that is not only worldly profit oriented but also based on the ukhrowi value. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>Pemberdayaan santri merupakan upaya positif mewujudkan tujuan pondok pesantren membekali santri dengan ilmu keagamaan dan ilmu pengetahuan umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemberdayaan santri di Pondok Pesantren Al Qohar Klaten melalui pengembangan usaha ekonomi kreatif “Kimi Bag” sebagai upaya menguatkan jiwa entrepreneurship santri. Santri dapat menyalurkan kemampuan kreasi dan inovasi dalam mengembangkan usaha ekonomi kreatif. Pendidikan dan pelatihan dilakukan dengan melibatkan santri terutama dalam kegiatan produksi. Perkembangan produk “Kimi Bag” yang mampu menembus pasar luar negeri memberi nilai tambah tersendiri bagi para santri dalam membangun motivasi dan semangat entrepreneurship santri. Program pemberdayaan santri ini diharapkan mampu menanamkan jiwa entrepreneurship yang tidak hanya berorientasi keuntungan duniawi saja namun juga dilandasi nilai-nilai ukhrowi. <strong></strong></em></p>

Religious education is fundamental to be improved, as moral degradation continues to take root around the world. One of the efforts to maintain the value of religious teachings is through the education system, among others through boarding school education. The presence of boarding schools in the middle of society is not only as an educational institution, but also as a religious and religious broadcasting institution. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods at IHAQI Boarding School Bandung Creative Boarding School. The results of the study illustrate that historically pesantren continues to change, in the 21st century pesantren developed using the word pondok to "Boarding School", one of them in IHAQI Creative Boarding School. This shows the birth of the modern post generation as a form of modern boarding school progress in the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 era, in addition to displaying religious knowledge, modern post pesantren that exists in the 21st century also displays various skills in various fields of science. Pesantren has a unique and creative Boarding School system in developing various disciplines and skills needed by the community. This pesantren became a post-modern boarding school that excelled in printing a generation of digital-based Islam.  Its more comprehensive-holistic educational patterns make it more likely to create an ideal educational environment for giving birth to people who will be able to bring about a revolution in social, political, economic and religious life movements

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan santri pondok pesantren salafiyah Al-Azhar, desa Patok Picis, kecamatan Wajak, kabupaten Malang; Peningkatan kesadaran dalam pemanfaatan lahan pondok serta pengelolaan kebersihannya; Peningkatan wawasan santri sehingga dapat memunculkan motivasi dan semangat berwirausaha; Peningkatan nilai ekonomis sumber daya hasil alam yang ada di pondok pesantren. Metode yang digunakan  adalah ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan, konten yang dikembangkan mencakup, materi technopreneurship dan kewirausahaan, pengelolaan lingkungan, keterampilan memijat dan pembuatan nugget ikan produk pesantren. Hasil kegiatan ini wawasan wirausaha santri telah meningkat, demikian pula keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan potensi bahan baku lokal untuk produk yang lebih bernilai ekonomi serta pemahaman penerapan teknologi yang lebih efektif untuk penguatan karakteristik pesantren wirausaha.Kata kunci—technopreneurship, santri, wirausaha, pesantreneurship AbstractThe aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of Al-Azhar Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School students, Patok Picis village, Wajak sub-district, Malang district; Increased awareness in the utilization of cottage land and cleanliness management; Increased students’ knowledge so that it can bring up the motivation and enthusiasm of entrepreneurship; Increasing the economic value of natural resource resources in boarding schools. The development and sustainability of Islamic Boarding School are strongly influenced by the regeneration of the leadership of kiai as a successor of the vision and mission, depending upon their disciplines. Regeneration of the leadership of kiai often occurs on the basis of lineage to maintain and respond the developmental and institutional dynamics in the boarding school. The research is intended to analyze and discover the leadership patterns of kiai, the shifting patterns of the leadership, and the impact of the shift towards the development of the institutions. This study is phenomenological. The data collection techniques employed were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis procedures were data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Tringualation was used to check the data validity, credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.The findings of the research reveal the following results. Firstly, the pattern of the leadership of kiai is preserving and maintaining lineage or dzurriyyah (leader is born). The characteristics of the leadership of kiai are paternalistic, charismatic, pseudo-democratic, and transcendent-transformative. Secondly, the shifting patterns of the leadership of kiai are maintaining direct dzurriyah, direct and closest dzurriyyah, and indirect and closest dzurriyyah. The patterns are based on the following principles: a) capable to maintain knowledge and the characteristics of the boarding school, b) able to maintain the values of the ​​boarding schools and families (dzurriyyah), c) able to maintain the values ​​and patterns of leadership characteristics which are paternalistic, charismatic, pseudo-democratic, and transcendent-transformative, and d) finally, able to maintain the institutional characteristics of the boarding schools which are salafiyah, salafiyah-khalafiyah, and khalafiyah. Thirdly,  the impacts of the leadership shift of kiai are as follows. a) the leadership pattern is more open and accepts value changes. b) Diversity of institutional models occurs from salafiyah, salafiyah-khalafiyah, and khalafiyah. c) the models of institutional buildings are from wood and bamboo to modern buildings. d) the quality of human resources is in the forms of expertises religious knowledge and science. e) the management of santri is from traditional to classical management models, and f) the outputs or graduates involve in the works for the religious instution and community services in his environment.

Organic waste is the largest composition of waste generated by the people of Indonesia, which is around 50-60%. This type of waste, especially food waste, is easy to smell if it is stored for too long so that it has the potential to pollute the environment. On the other hand, organic waste has good nutrients that can be generated, including through BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggot bioconversion treatment. The BSF maggot bioconversion method is a method of processing organic waste which is carried out by converting organic matter into other products that are useful and have added value by utilizing biological processes from microorganisms and enzymes. Organic waste treatment with this method is generally carried out on a community-based basis and is integrated with the development of agriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry, because maggot cultivation produces commodities of economic value such as compost and maggot larvae. Compost contains very good nutrients so that it can be used for organic farming and maggot contains high protein that can be used for animal feed and fisheries. The implementation of this program was piloted in the boarding school community, namely the Az-Zakaria Islamic Boarding School which is managed by the Az-Zakaria Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) in Sindangbarang Village, Jalaksana District, Kuningan Regency. The result of this implementation is the formation of a new group of entrepreneurs engaged in the cultivation and utilization of BSF maggots.

the basic principles of Islamic boarding school education, namely; Al Muhafadhah ala al-qadim al shalih wa al akhdzu bi al jadid al ashlah. This principle has encouraged pesantren to maintain good old Islamic values without denying better changes. This paper intends to explore two sides of the coin for Pondok Persantren where one side is a distinct advantage for but can be a boomerang that hinders the progress of Islamic education based on understanding the basic elements and values of Islamic boarding schools and, then contributing thoughts in building a holistic Islamic boarding school education so that can follow the development of science without losing the obligation to maintain basic values. Holistic pesantren education can only be achieved if it is reaffirmed that the elements of the boarding school education system are not oriented towards learning religious knowledge but how kyai, teachers / ustaz and santri can learn to live in religion.

The development plan of the Islamic Boarding School in the middle of the times it is not impossible to do. As the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School is an educational institution that is civilized. The development of Islamic boarding school can be done through two aspects; boarding school as an educational unit and boarding school as a place of education units. Islamic Boarding School as an educational unit in the form of Muaddalah Islamic Boarding School while boarding school as a place of education unit is a main unit of doing other educational institutions. Development of the Islamic Boarding School can also be developed through the role of Islamic Boarding Schools that do not merely act as an educational institution, but also serves as a social institutions and economic institutions of society.
