The problematic of rational management of household and similar wasteis a responsibility shared between all the actors of the city. The citizen or user has a great contribution in the success of this management. This by contribution to the realization of their duty and right in the collection of household and similar waste (HSW). The objective of this study is to examine the degree of enrollment of environmental citizenship in relation to the management of (HSW) in the collection and pre-collection phase in the city of Bejaia. The amount of waste generated in this city continues to increase (0.84 Kg/d /Inhabitant), with a daily tonnage which reaches 191 tonnes. These quantities of household waste produced and thrown away daily appear dispersed and scattered randomly in the sectors of the city. This observation reflects the negative behavior of the inhabitants, and has caused several consequences on the living environment, and on the tourist vocation of the city in general. This does not allow the city to play its functionality and represents a discomfort in front of all users, and particularly a failure in front of the actors of this city. Resorting to the implementation of shared management will allow the city of Bejaia to strengthen the level of environmental citizenship. Thus, correct the level of offset in the collection phase.

The aim of our study was to investigate for the presence of total and fecal coliforms on the hand contact surface of the public household waste bins placed near the blocks of flats. The samples were taken from five different areas of the city of Timişoara. According to the Order no. 119/2014, for the aproval of Hygiene and public health standards regarding the population’s living environment, this waste bins should be maintained clean by periodically washing and, concidering that they serve for the temporary storage of household and food wastes, fecal coliforms are supposed to be absent from these surfaces.From a total of 100 analyzed samples, 27% were positive for total coliforms and 6% for fecal coliforms. Only the samples taken from a single area were all negative for fecal coliforms. In the other three areas, we found 16% and twice 4% positive samples.Analyzing the results, it can be assumed that the contact surface of these household waste bins might be a possible source of contamination with intestinal pathogens, for the people handling them.

In recent years, with the rapid development of VR technology, its application range gradually involves the field of urban landscape design. VR technology can simulate complex environments, breaking through the limitations of traditional environmental design on large amounts of information processing and rendering of renderings. It can display complex and abstract urban environmental design through visualization. With the support of high-speed information transmission in the 5G era, VR technology can simulate the overall urban landscape design by generating VR panoramas, and it can also bring the experiencer into an immersive and interactive virtual reality world through VR video Experience. Based on this, this article uses the 5G virtual reality method in the new media urban landscape design to conduct research, aiming to provide an urban landscape design method with strong authenticity, good user experience and vividness. This paper studies the urban landscape design method in the new media environment; in addition, how to realize the VR panorama in the 5G environment, and also explores the image design of each node in the city in detail; and uses the park design in the city As an example, the realization process of the entire virtual reality is described in detail. The research in this article shows that the new media urban landscape design method based on 5G virtual reality, specifically to the design of urban roads, water divisions, street landscapes, and people’s living environment, makes the realization of smart cities possible.

City environment problem increasingly troubles the people living in the city. What the human doings are against the city environment and damage their homes. This paper analyzes the causes of city environmental pollution and several aspects of pollution, and probes into the problems of city pollution and environmental planning for the future. The goal is to find an effective solution to resolve these problems. Finally, the solution of the problem from three aspects in city planning is proposed for improving the living environment and purifying homes.

The study reveals the aspects that defi ne the concept of “lifestyle”, including the main categories: standard of living, lifestyle, quality of life and lifestyle. Insuffi cient knowledge of the mutual infl uence of people’s “lifestyle” on the typological structure of apartments and residential buildings, on the quality of the urban environment is emphasized. The infl uence of the level of urbanization of the city territory on the characteristics of the “urban lifestyle” is considered. Problematic issues are raised related to the debate on the relationship between building density and comfort and the quality index of the living environment. The main directions of fundamental research in the fi eld of architecture, aimed at the development of new types of buildings, are touched upon. The emphasis is made on the methods of using high-rise buildings for the humanization of the urban environment and the formation of a modern “compact city”.

During more than six centuries of existence, Bacău benefited both from the favourable socio-economic and political context, and from the interrelationships with the other communities, from the harmonious combination of these two elements resulting both the growth and development of the locality and the position in the local and regional hierarchy. The main beneficiaries of the progress made were of course the inhabitants, the city representing a living environment for them, as well as the essential factor in the functional dynamics and in the urban landscape. Giving meaning to the past, we must recognize that each community that contributed to the development of Bacău has its own history, Bacău becoming the trustee of the communities ‘history entirety, which in perfect communion with Romanians defined the complex identity of the locality. The Jewish community is no exception, whose collaboration with Romanians for over two centuries has contributed to increasing the economic level of development of the locality since the second half of the 18th century.

Resumo: O objetivo do presente trabalho foi aplicar e avaliar uma proposta didática sobre pilhas, baterias e lâmpadas fluorescentes, no ensino de Ciências, direcionada a estudantes do Ensino Fundamental de duas escolas públicas da cidade de Jaciara-MT. A pesquisa se baseia em uma abordagem qualitativa, tendo como instrumentos de coletas de dados: questionário, observação e diário de campo. Para o planejamento das atividades propostas, os estudantes foram investigados sobre as temáticas, por meio de questionários, de forma a verificar os conhecimentos prévios a respeito dos riscos ocasionados pelo descarte inadequado, destes materiais. Para evidenciar os riscos do descarte inadequado, foram utilizadas duas aulas expositivas/dialogadas e um desafio para o recolhimento dos materiais, que apresentou grande diferença, entre as escolas. Observou-se, por meio das respostas, que a maioria dos estudantes descartam suas pilhas, baterias e lâmpadas fluorescentes, no lixo doméstico, por não saber dos riscos que estes materiais podem causar à saúde e ao meio ambiente, por possuírem metais pesados que são liberados, no caso das pilhas, quando começam a enferrujar e nas lâmpadas fluorescentes, quando são quebradas.Palavras-chave: Descarte inadequado. Lâmpadas fluorescentes. Abstract: The objective of the present work was to apply and evaluate a didactic proposal on batteries, batteries and fluorescent lamps, in the teaching of science, directed to students of the elementary School of two public schools of the city of, The research is based on a qualitative approach, having as instruments of data collection, questionnaire, observation and Field Journal. For the planning of the proposed activities, the students were investigated on the subjects, by means of questionnaires, in order to verify the previous knowledge about the risks caused by the inappropriate disposal of these materials. To highlight the risks of inappropriate disposal, two expository/dialogue classes were used and a challenge for the collection of materials, which showed great difference between schools. It was observed, through the replies, that most students discard their batteries, batteries and fluorescent lamps in household waste, because they do not know the risks that these materials can cause to health and the environment, because they have heavy metals that are Released, in the case of batteries, when they start to rust and in fluorescent lamps, when they are broken.Keywords: Improper disposal; Batteries; Fluorescent lamps.

This article presents a reflection on the past and current history, uses, and significance of the Luiz Rau creek to the municipality of Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul. Its waters have always been important to the region, quenching the thirst of the local population and their livestock and providing venues for shared social interactions, but also as a destination for municipal industrial and household waste, which has polluted the waters of the creek. Our primary objective is to present and discuss these aspects with the purpose of elucidating the historical importance of this watercourse to the city of Novo Hamburgo. Toward that end, we conducted an exploratory survey to obtain the necessary inputs for such a discussion. We also employed texts from the now-defunct Jornal 5 de Abril and from Jornal NH, the highest-circulating newspaper in the region, to illustrate some situations experienced by the community. We found that municipal waste continues to be dumped into the creek, which has made it rather unloved by the local residents, but it remains firmly present in their daily lives.

The aim of the study was to assess the impact of the living environment on the nutritional behavior of children aged 10-12. There was used an auditory method. Questionnaires were filled in by 100 children residing in the countryside and in the city. The Food Attitude Survey (FAS-R) method had been used to assess the knowledge and acceptance of 20 food products presented in the study by children. The conclusion was formulated as follows: children from villages more often than their peers living in the city eat between meals some products with health-promoting properties. The results obtained can be used in the design and marketing phase of new products for children and adolescents. The article has a research nature.
