The urgency of the problem is determined by the growing need of participants in the educational process affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 for psychological assistance, and the lack of research that would help school psychologists, social educators to provide quality educational services in distance learning. The purpose of the article is to present the results of research on the psychological support of the educational process in quarantine, to present the experience of the scientific and methodological center of practical psychology and social work of Chernivtsi In-Service Teacher Training Institute, to determine strategies for scientific and methodological support of psychological services in pandemics and distance learning. The article analyzes the quantitative indicators of online activities, the subject of appeals to psychological services by students, parents, teachers during quarantine, Internet resources used in the process of psychological assistance in distance learning. It has been established that quarantine has reduced the productivity of the psychological service of educational institutions, caused restrictions in professional activities. School psychologists fulfilled their professional workload with students only by 18.8%, and social educators − by 9.7%. Many students were not covered by psychological support, socio-pedagogical assistance, and were left «alone» with their problems and difficulties at home. According to the results of the research, the strategies of scientific and methodological support of the activity of psychological service specialists are determined: development of autopsychological competence and self-regulation; development of digital competence; development of tools for professional activity on harmonization of psycho-emotional state, restoration of mental health in victims of the COVID-19 pandemic participants in the educational process.

The article finds that under the conditions of quarantine restrictions, the only acceptable form of education was distance learning, which complies with current legislation, as it is included in the list of institutional forms along with full-time, part-time, online, etc. Each HEI within the given autonomy has developed and implemented a system of measures on the technological and technical aspect of the implementation of the educational process in quarantine. In this context, the analysis of the official websites of the HEI is carried out to generalize innovative practices and practical experience, which can serve as a methodological basis for research and teaching staff to improve and expand the forms and methods of distance learning. Along with the variety of forms of distance education, there are common problems and challenges for free education: the workload of both teachers and students has increased significantly; there was a need for intensive training in the use of distance forms in the educational process; the work was intensified and it became obvious that specialized distance learning centres were functioning based on the HEIs; the issue of social and psychological support of participants in the educational process etc. is left out of the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science. In this context, the need for psychological support becomes especially relevant, namely the need for a technological solution, the possibility of its implementation online or remotely, providing communication, interaction and support to students during their studies, especially in conditions of uncertainty. Students with special educational needs both in terms of social and psychological support and support in distance learning need significant attention. The recommendations of the world community on the course of the educational process in the conditions of quarantine restrictions are considered. Most international organizations have made statements and made several recommendations for education systems that countries can use to make policy decisions and implement concrete action plans.

The problem of introducing distance learning in primary school is actualized by the development of social networks and Internet technologies, which open unlimited horizons for their application in educational activities. In addition, the introduction of quarantine in Ukraine requires primary school teachers to find ways to effectively master the program material. Among such ways is distance learning. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the specifics and possibilities of organizing the educational process in primary school with the use of distance learning. In the process of scientific research methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization were used. Distance learning in primary school is defined as a form of organization and implementation of the educational process, in which the subjects of learning (teachers and students) in the online mode carry out educational interaction in principle and mainly extraterritorially. In the context of reforming modern Ukrainian education, a number of e-platforms have been created for the organization of distance learning for primary school students. An effective commercial platform for distance learning is the service "My Class", which contains online courses from 1st to 11th grade, which contain lessons that integrate theoretical (test presentation of content) and practical (individual tasks that can be solved independently of each other, a block of tasks that need to be solved sequentially, guidelines) blocks. Result. Emphasis is placed on the requirements to be met by a primary school teacher when organizing distance learning in primary school during the quarantine period and it is suggested to advise parents who will work remotely with junior students in the initial stages of distance learning, gradually transferring activity to children.
