Family Planning Program is a government program designed as an effort to control population. The government initially recommends non-hormonal contraception, however in Indonesia, the use of non-hormonal contraception is less desirable by women of childbearing age. Most women of childbearing age in Indonesia prefer to use hormonal contraception. The study was conducted to determine the relationship between age, education, occupation, residential area, number of children alive, health insurance, husband’s support by determining the type of contraception in women of childbearing age in Indonesia. The study utilized secondary data obtained from the 2017 IDHS by using a cross-sectional design. The research sample is subjects who put the last type of contraception in a private midwivery and subjects who use implanted contraception, injections, pills, condoms, and IUD. The sample size in this study was 6,030 subjects. According to the study, several factors were found that showed a relationship with the determination of the type of contraceptives in Indonesia. These factors include age, level of education, employment status, residential area, number of children alive, and health insurance. However, the husband's support factor shows that it has no relationship with determining the type of contraceptives for women of childbearing age in Indonesia.

Abstract Public health insurance targeted towards low-income households has gained traction in many developing countries. However, there is limited evidence as to the effectiveness of these programs in countries where institutional constraints may limit participation by the eligible population. This paper evaluates a recent health insurance initiative introduced in Pakistan and discusses whether eligibility for the programme improves maternal health seeking behaviour. The Prime Minister National Health Program provides free insurance coverage to low-income families. The programme is in the early phases of implementation and has, since 2016, only been rolled out in a few eligible districts within the country. This allows for a comparison of eligible households in districts where the programme has been introduced to those that are eligible to receive insurance at a future date. Using repeated cross-sectional data from multiple rounds of representative household survey, a difference-in-difference model has been estimated. Results show that at least for a specific beneficiary group (i.e. pregnant women), there has been a positive increase in utilization of hospital services. Furthermore, we provide evidence using mother fixed effects that the programme increased the likelihood of a child’s birth being documented. Since possession of a birth certificate can secure civic rights for a child, this is an unintended but positive outcome of the programme.

HIV / AIDS is an infectious disease caused by infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) which attacks the immune system. (RI Ministry of Health, 2017). The high case of HIV / AIDS in women is feared to have an impact on the increase in cases of HIV / AIDS in children who get from perinatal transmission or transmission of infections that occur during pregnancy or childbirth. Another contributing factor is the lack of knowledge and awareness about HIV / AIDS that has threatened ordinary people including women of childbearing age. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about HIV / AIDS in the Gurah Health Center area of Kediri Regency. The method used was cross-sectional by distributing questionnaires to a group of women of childbearing age with a total sample of 98 respondents. With variables including the characteristics of respondents and knowledge of HIV / AIDS. Based on the research results obtained for the most age at the end of adulthood (35.7%), the most education was high school / vocational school (62.2%), IRT work (65.3%), electronic media information sources (41.8%). While knowledge of HIV / AIDS was sufficient as much as 43.9%, knowledge about transmission is low (49.9%), knowledge of prevention about limiting sexual relations (70.4%), condom use (55.1%), knowledge of signs and symptoms of people appear healthy (73.5%) , knowledge of characteristics affected by HIV / AIDS (59.2%), knowledge of prevention of HIV / AIDS testing (54.1%), and place of testing services (53.1%). The conclusion that can be taken was the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about HIV / AIDS was in the sufficient category and was expected to be further improved so that it becomes a high level by conducting counseling by health workers in the Puskesmas and other agencies. Sedangkan pengetahuan HIV/AIDS yaitu cukup sebanyak 43.9%, pengetahuan mengenai penularan yaitu rendah (49.9%), pengetahuan pencegahan tentang membatasi hubungan seksual (70.4%), pemakaian kondom (55.1%), pengetahuan tanda dan gejala orang tampak sehat (73.5%), pengetahuan ciri terkena HIV/AIDS (59.2%), pengetahuan penanggulangan adanya tes HIV/AIDS (54.1%), dan tempat pelayanan tes (53.1%).

Hormonal contraception type injectable contraceptives increasingly popular in Indonesia because of its practical, cost-effective, and safe. Side effects of use injectable contraceptives is changes in nutritional status. Nutritional status is a measure in the assessment of nutritional fulfillment that reflects a person's health status. Changes in nutritional status are multifactorial like husband’s support. This study aims to explain the relationship between husband’s support with nutritional status on injectable contraceptives acceptor. This study used cross sectional design. The sample in this research is women of childbearing age who use injectable contraceptive of Puskesmas Gading Surabaya region obtained by purposive sampling technique. Independent variable is husband’s support. The dependent variable is the nutritional status of injectable contraceptives acceptor. The instruments in this study were questionnaires and BMI measurements. To find out the relationship, this study uses Spearman correlation test. Husband’s support with nutritional status on injectable contraceptives acceptor, obtained result p = 0,00 (r) = -0,546. The husband’s support with nutritional status on injectable contraceptives acceptor has a moderate correlation with negative correlation coefficient, it means that less respondents get support from their husbands, nutritional status will increase until they get overweight or obese. It is necessary to increase the involvement of husbands in deciding the use of contraception, so women of childbearing age of injecting contraceptives acceptor receives adequate husband’s support.
