Indonesia nation has 742 regional languages, each representing one cultural system. However by this time 30 percent of the regional languages have been lost. It can be used as an indication of 30 percent regional culture that shape the national culture have been lost too. From the 742 regional languages in Indonesia, only 13 language speakers over one million people. Makassarese language is one of 13 language speakers over one million people more precisely 2.467.000 inhabitants speakers of 7.520.204 inhabitants in South Sulawesi. In the context of the Makassarese language, local wisdom can be interpreted as positive values of Makassar tribe or more broad in South Sulawesi society. Preservation efforts of local wisdom in the Makassarese language can be done by preserving aksara lontarak which is the bridge to elaborate the values of local wisdom in the past. Furthermore, this study aimed to introduce the aksara lontarak through Makassarese language learning material in elementary school. This study refers to the steps of Research and Development from the Borg and Gall, and collaborated with the research phase of Brown to produce a learning material (textbook) of Makassarese language.

This research adopted the qualitative research content analysis on the 4th grade of elementary school students which aimed to know the literary material contained in the 2013 curriculum student book in Indonesia as the compulsory guidebook. The results of this research could be useful for guidelines for the development of literary materials by teachers when implementing learning planning. The findings show that students’ literature material is only about 30% of the Indonesian language learning material found in the 4th grade of elementary school. The lesson was limited to reading the text of the story then answering questions about the content of the text. In general, literary competence material in student books has not been emphasized on the cultivation of literary concepts. The development of literary materials in the 4th grade of elementary school should include the introduction of literary concepts, analyzing the contents of literary texts, and applying moral values in literature to be applied in daily life.

<em><span lang="EN-US">Language is very important, especially seen from the function of culture and social functions in addition to other functions. It is very important for a country to have a national language which functions as a unifying tool for various ethnic groups with different backgrounds. Likewise, the function of regional languages is very important for the survival of a particular regional culture. Regional languages as one of the nation's wealth have a function as a means of communication for the supporting community. Apart from being a means of intra-ethnic communication, regional languages also function as supporters of the national language, namely Indonesian. On the basis of this function, regional languages should continue to be fostered and developed in order to strengthen the resilience of the nation's culture. Regional languages should no longer be treated as one of the cultures whose functions can be replaced by the functions of other languages. Article 36 of the 1945 Constitution states, among other things, that regional languagesthat are well maintained by their speakers will be respected and preserved by the state because these regional languages are part of the living Indonesian culture. The National Language Policy formulates that in relation to the development of state life in Indonesia towards regional autonomy and the importance of fostering and preserving regional culture, regional languagesneed to be given the widest opportunity to play a bigger role. Strengthening the existence and continuity of regional languages aims to protect regional languages which are one of the nation's wealth. Indonesian <em><span lang="EN-US">as a dynamic language can take advantage of local language vocabulary as an enrichment of Indonesian vocabulary. This attitude not only strengthens regional culture, but also strengthens national culture.</span></em></span></em>

Fun educational learning media rarely exist in the elementary school environment . So this study aims to develop educational learning media snake ladder with plant theme for firist grade elementery school. This research was conducted in three elementery schools in Bekasi. The method used is a research and development model with Borg & Gall. The results show aspects of media needs only 25% of teachers using games in learning media. While as many as 83% of teachers think the learning material in the book is very supportive theme to use instructional media. Researchers also conduct tests to students about the concept of living things, especially plants with an average value of 43.33 which enter into the category of "less". Based on these findings, the researchers conducted the development of instructional media educational ladder snake plant subthemes. This medium-sized 2x3.5 m where each field contains information about the plant concepts that are tailored to the learning curriculum. Students also are directly involved with being pawns and dice made from flannel made safe with the size 30x30cm.

PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA BERBANTUAN PETA PIKIRAN PADA MATERI MENULIS MAKALAH SISWA KELAS XI SMA/MAAbstractThe aim of this research is to produce a module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability which are valid, practice, and effective to be used by the XI grade students of SMA/MA. This research tends to research and development research by using 4-D model of development. Development activities are started by identification, design, and development. Data of this research belongs to quantitative that is got by assessment of valuator, Indonesian teacher, students, and the result of students in learning Indonesian. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, the writer gives many conclusions. First, validation of module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability at the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru tends to very valid with 94,89. Second, practicability of the modul can be said as very practice with 81.71. Third, effectiveness of the module tends to very effective with 86,74 from students and completeness show the result of learning is good category or 76.85 (34 students from 39 students). Therefore, it can be concluded that the module which is developed can be used as learning material in the school, especially for the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru in writing paper ability.Key Words: learning module, mind map, writing paperAbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan modul materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbantuan peta pikiran mengajar menulis makalah yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan oleh siswa kelas XI SMA/MA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan penelitian dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4 dimensi. Kegiatan pengembangan dimulai dengan identifikasi, desain, dan pengembangan. Data penelitian ini termasuk kuantitatif yang didapat dengan penilaian penilai, guru bahasa Indonesia, siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan data, penulis memberikan beberapa simpulan. Pertama, validasi modul materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan pemetaan pikiran dalam kemampuan menulis kertas pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru cenderung sangat valid dengan 94,89. Kedua, kepraktisan modul bisa dikatakan sangat praktis dengan 81,71. Ketiga, keefektifan modul cenderung sangat efektif dengan 86,74 siswa dan kelengkapan menunjukkan hasil belajar adalah kategori baik atau 76,85 (34 siswa dari 39 siswa). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran di sekolah, khususnya bagi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru dalam menulis kemampuan menulis.Kata kunci: modul pembelajaran, mind map, writing paper

Elementary school students are an asset of the Indonesian nation that very valuable to be maintained and developed with a positive character values that come from the family, school, society and nation. Character building for the youth generation is now a matter of urgency and decisive for the future of the nation toward Golden Generation in 2045. In this period, the generation who are now on early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and higher education will enter productive age that determines the strategic role of this nation. Especially for elementary school age, they were aged 6-14 years old now, will be aged 39-47 years old in the year of 2045 and this means that they will enter the glorious period of their development. In order to develop this golden generation, it is necessary to reform the education sector which plays an important role to set up and direct the superior human resources and productive then mastery and develop science, technology and art are needed in this globalization era. One of the way to do that the integration of the characters values into Makassarese language learning materials. This learning materials is expected to provide supplies to students in Makassarese language skills on the one side and the character building on the other side. Furthermore, this study aimed to develop Makassarese language learning materials in elementary school that integrates the characters values. This research was conducted in Makassar city with 14 sub-district as the population and 4 sub-disctrict as the sample. Then the researchers determined 4 school from 4 districts from urban and sub-urban area as research location. The steps of research and development by Borg and Gall and collaborated with the research phase by Brown were refers to produce Makassarese language textbooks based on character building concept. Result of this research produce 8 themes that extracted from 18 character values (character building concept) by Ministry of Education and Culture as follows: Heroism, Historical Place, Citizenship, Family, Motivation, Fine Arts, Religious and Public Place.

The purpose of this study is to discover, describe and explain the development model of character-based English language in senior high schools to improve student’s achievement. This study is designed to approach research and development, the research is followed up by studying, investigating, and understanding as well as how the model-based development of English Language learning character develop. The sample of the study consists of 30 teachers who are taken from 8 senior high schools in Banda Aceh that have the same background and characteristics. To produce a model of teaching English in senior high schools in Banda Aceh, the model is conducted systematic steps in the form of the process of action, reflection, evaluation, and innovation. The method used is direct observation, questionnaires, interviews, seminars, and development. Furthermore, this research is expected to produce English language-based learning model character in accordance with the national culture.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan, menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan media pembelajaran video animasi berbantuan sparkol videoscribe dalam pembelajaran IPS materi keragaman budaya di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Manyaran 01 Semarang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kelayakan media, analisis tanggapan guru dan siswa, uji normalitas, uji gain, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video animasi berbantuan sparkol videoscribe layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, berdasarkan penilaian ahli media 92,86% (sangat layak), materi 90% (sangat layak), dan bahasa 87,5% (sangat layak). Persentase tanggapan guru sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan persentase tanggapan siswa sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Video animasi berbantuan sparkol videoscribe efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV berdasarkan uji gain nilai pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,462 dengan kategori sedang. Uji hipotesis dengan uji paired sampel t-test diperoleh nilai signifikasi 2-tailed < α yaitu 0,00 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah video animasi berbantuan sparkol videoscribe yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran siswa kelas IV SDN Manyaran 01 Semarang. The purpose of this research was to determine the development, test the feasibility and effectiveness of animation video assisted by sparkol videoscribe in social studies learning material on cultural diversity in Indonesia. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D). The subjects of this research were students of class IV Elementary School Manyaran 01 Semarang. Data analysis techniques used were media feasibility analysis, analysis of teacher and student responses, normality test, gain test, and t-test. The results showed that animation video assisted by sparkol videoscribe are suitable for use in learning, based on the assessment of media experts 92.86% (very feasible), 90% material (very feasible), and 87.5% language (very feasible). The percentage of teacher responses by 100% with very good criteria and the percentage of students responses by 90% with very good criteria. Animation video assisted by sparkol videoscribe can effectively improve student learning outcomes in class IV based on the gain test of pretest and posttest scores of 0.462 in the medium category. Hypothesis testing with paired sample t-test obtained 2-tailed significance value <α that is 0.00 <0.05 so that Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is animation video assisted by sparkol videoscribe which was developed is feasible and effectively applied in the learning of fourth-grade students of Elementary School Manyaran 01 Semarang.

This study aimed to develop Makassarese language learning materials based on character building concept for elementary schools, particularly the 5th grade students in Makassar city. This research started from researchers concern on the Makassarese language which is one of the local languages in South Sulawesi province, Indonesia. Although, this language is still used by native speakers, but if it is not followed by preservation, it has the potential to be abandoned by its speakers and extinct. The Indonesian government has a program called “Indonesia Emas 2045” to realize the period when elementary school students take important role in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve local languages on the one side and character building on the other side. So this research is designed to synergize both. The mix method was used in this research. Development stages of learning materials refers to research and development stages by Borg and Gall then collaborated with the research phase by Brown. This research resulted learning model and learning material of Makassarese language based on character building concept with 8 that are extracted from 18 character values (character building concept) by the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia.

This learning media application is designed to be able to help elementary school students in learning Aksara Jawa. This application is made web-based, so it can be used by all people. The purpose of making this application is to assist with the learning of Aksara Jawa with the subject matter of the aksara carakan with pasangan, aksara wilangan, aksara swara, tuladha page, and question page. It is expected that the presence of this learning media can help increase the students' interest in learning local content subjects, namely Regional Languages (Javanese). In addition to increasing interest, can contribute to the preservation of regional culture.

This article aimed to promote English in elementary school students through a fun learning method, called the Fun English Camp. Several studies had been conducted to encounter the best solution to handle this issue. The researchers used PRISMA Protocol as an instrument to collect the data that has been widely used in the process of selecting relevant articles. The researchers reviewed twenty five scientific publications, related to Fun English Camp that has become an English learning approach for beginner students. Through a review of twenty five scientific publications, for instance book and journal, the researchers got scientific evidence that introduction of a learning method with the term Fun English camp has an impact on promoting language learning for elementary school children in Indonesia.
