The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy of developing a tourist attraction in the old town of Ampenan, Mataram. This type of research is qualitative research, data collection methods are observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research is SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the research conducted, the following strategies are produced: SO (Strength Opportunities) strategy, namely community empowerment through training, utilizing technological advances in marketing Ampenan Old Town, increasing collaboration with travel agencies and making more tour packages to Ampenan Old Town. The WO (Weakness Opportunities) strategy is: developing and managing supporting facilities in the tourist attraction of the old city of Ampenan, conducting promotions in collaboration with stakeholders, making attractive tour packages. The ST (Strength Threath) strategy is: making special rules/policies in the development of ampenan old town, working with related agencies in tackling environmental damage,. The WT (Weakness Threath) strategy is: conducting outreach to the local community, increasing supervision of tourism activities, maximizing the tourism development budget through cooperation

West Java is a province that has many mainstay tourist attractions in Indonesia. Sukabumi is a district in West Java that has one of the tourist attractions that has been inaugurated as a part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network (UGGN) in 2018, this area opens the opportunity to become a leading destination in West Java and even nationally. The tourist attraction of the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu Geopark offers natural and cultural attractions that can be explored in geological diversity, biological diversity, and cultural diversity. The number of tourists visiting the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu Geopark Tourist Attraction has increased from 2012-2018, but in 2019 the number has decreased. This study aims to analyze the tourism marketing strategy carried out by the manager to increase the number of tourist visits to the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu Geopark. The method used is qualitative, data collection through literature study, interviews, and observation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. To analyze the marketing mix and strategy using a SWOT analysis, which aims to identify the strategies needed to increase tourism visits. The results showed that the marketing strategy can be done to increase the number of tourists through the SWOT approach. The SO strategy, namely the strategy of packaging attractive tourism products and services, the ST strategy through the strategy of instilling a brand image in the minds of visitors / Building a place identity (Positioning), the WO strategy, namely through the promotion strategy, the WT strategy, namely through the community empowerment strategy and building commitment and cooperation with a stakeholder.

How is the tourists perception of the Barong Performance as a tourist attraction?. (3) What is the contribution of Barong Dance Perfomance as a tourist attraction for the local community in the Kedewatan Village?.</em><em></em></p><p><em>This research</em><em> used a qualitative method. Qualitative analysis is used to describe the form of the Barong Dance Perfomance, the perception of tourists, the contribution of the Barong Dance Perfomance. Data analysis is using Comodification Theory. Data collection is obtained through observation, interview, literature study, and document study. The research findings are presented and elaboreted descriptively to obtain overall conclucions.</em><em></em></p><p><em>These results indicate</em><em>s</em><em> that the Barong Dance performances as a tourist attraction is </em><em>designed in the form of a performance </em><em>package</em><em> including stage of the show, the ritual, the percussion, and the story of Barong Dance. The perception of the tourists are generally good. The Barong performance as a tourist attraction  has conr</em><em>t</em><em>ibuted to the welfare of society in economic and sociallife of the local culture of the Kedewatan Vil</em><em>l</em><em>age.</em></p>

           Toya devasya is tourist attraction located ini Kintamani subdistrict, Bangli regency. Domestic tourist and international tourist very interested with toya devasya, we should give an appreciation due to management, strategy and travel products, toya devasya felt very fast to built its identity, very interesting and give multiple impact to the local community. Toursm activities have very interesting that sustainability must be pursued. Secondary sources show that the management has made a good effort to manage and establish harmony with the local community. This situation must be pursued for the sustainability of tourism development Method of this research is literature study and the data are qualitative and quantitative, the data source is secondary data by using article tourism science, book and the internet source. The results obtained is the toursm activitiy has not had a positive impact to the local community and the management seem like they are not involved the community in making a decisions, policy maker, to get a benefit from toursm activities. This research aims to identify the potential of natural tourism, cultural tourism, and creativity of local communities of Kendran Village and determine the condition of the internal environment (as seen from the strengths and weaknesses) and external environment (as seen from the opportunities and threats) of Kendran Village since the development of creative-economy based village tourism is one of the attempts to open up the market share (market niche) that had not been done yet. SWOT analysis method was used in this research to explore the potential of the internal environment, such as Strengths, namely rice field scenery with jogging tracks, the preserved traditional culture as traditional Balinese architecture, sacred places, historical relics in the village area, the activities of the Balinese-Hinduism ceremonies, arts and cultures, as well as the hospitality of communities, and accessible areas. We found the weaknesses on infrastructure, public facilities, lack of tourism programs along with its management, and lack of foreign languages including English. Likewise, on the external environment, they have the opportunities in location of Kendran Village, the popularity of village tourism, increasing of tourists arrival who are interested in culture & natural tourism, information and technological advances that support the promotion of Kendran Village, the support of the Gianyar Government, the development of creative-economy based tourism, and the threats such as increased competition in tourism industry, lack of passion of rural life in young generations, the culture commercialization, and also the stability of political and security situation in Indonesia. Index Terms— natural potentials, cultural potentials, creative local community, creative economy. 


East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. This study aimed to determine the potential of the Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang tourist attraction as a special interest tourist attraction in terms of the 4A tourist attraction component. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach and SWOT analysis. The data collection in this study was collected by using a literature study due to limited space in the middle of the Covid-19. Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon Tourism Attraction has the potential to be used as a special interest in a tourist attraction. Natural tourism with interesting beauty becomes a tourist attraction. Tourists can do many activities, such as trekking along the river, local resident’s housing, and plantations. The access to the Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang is quite easy to reach by land transportation modes. Supporting tourism facilities provided to fulfill the needs of tourists. Although it has the potential to be a special interest tourist attraction, Hidden Canyon Beji Guwang's tourist attraction still has some obstacles, such as lack of knowledge of foreign languages by local tour guides in delivering information to foreign tourists. Abstract. Community empowerment is one of the efforts undertaken by the community and the government in order to improve the standard of living by enhancing the potential and independence of the community, therefore, the local government is now intensively conducting community empowerment, for example the Purworejo district government. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the success of Purworejo District Government's community empowerment program through the digital market. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that can explain the process of community empowerment through digital market destinations. Data in this study were collected using observation techniques and literature study. Based on descriptive analysis, community involvement and participation in community empowerment programs through the digital market in Purworejo Regency must still be increased and strengthened to be able to achieve sustainability during the empowerment process. The conclusion from the results of this study is the SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Oppurtunities, Threats) can be used as a consideration by local governments in developing community empowerment through digital markets.

Abstract. This study aimed to identify what factors affecting the development of tourism in Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. As well as to identify a strategy for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach, Nisombalia Village, Maros Regency. The variables used consisted : (1) Tourist Attraction; (2) Supporting Facilities; (3) Safety and Comfort; (4) Information and Promotion; (5) Accessibility; (6) Job Opportunities; (7) (Income). The analytical method used chi-square, likert scale scoring, and SWOT analysis. There were four variables that have effect on the tourism potential development strategy in Kuri Caddi Beach, which are tourist attraction, safety and comfort, job opportunities and income. Meanwhile, there were three variables that have no effect, such us supporting facilities, information and promotion, and accessibility. The strategy that can be used for developing tourism potential on Kuri Caddi Beach is by utilizing the tourist attraction of Kuri Caddi Beach by referring to the Maros Regency Regional Regulation number 2 of 2014, concerning the implementation of tourism, involving the community in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism  based on the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan, and involves investors in developing Kuri Caddi Beach tourism, so that PAD and local community income are increased.. Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pengembangan pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Serta untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros. Variabel yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh diantaranya: (1) Daya Tarik Wisata; (2) Sarana Penunjang; (3) Keamanan dan Kenyamanan; (4) Informasi dan Promosi; (5) Aksesibilitas; (6) Peluang Kerja; (7) (Pendapatan). Metode analisis yang digunakan berupa chi-square, sistem skoring Skala Likert dan analisis SWOT. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi ada empat variabel yaitu daya tarik wisata, keamanan dan kenyamanan, peluang kerja dan pendapatan. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memiliki pengaruh ada tiga yaitu sarana penunjang, informasi dan promosi, serta aksesibilitas. Sehingga strategi yang dapat digunakan dalam strategi pengembangan potensi pariwisata di Pantai Kuri Caddi Desa Nisombalia Kabupaten Maros yaitu dengan memanfaatkan daya tarik wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi dengan mengacu pada pada Perda Kabupaten Maros nomor 2 Tahun 2014, tentang penyelenggaraan kepariwisataan, melibatkan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi berdasarkan Rencana Induk Pengembangan Kepariwisataan Daerah, serta melibatkan investor dalam mengembangkan wisata Pantai Kuri Caddi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan PAD dan pendapatan masyarakat lokal.

Ideas that have an impact on social change must be communicated to the community. As objects, they not only know about the changes that have occurred, but they must also support and be involved so that they become part of the changes. People have always assumed that innovation always ends with the adoption of an innovation that is conveyed to them. So according to this assumption, it is as if the diffusion of innovation only focuses on spreading innovation programs or ideas to the community and only sees innovation as new ideas, ideas, methods, or products in the perspective of development communication.This study aims to find out how the innovation and development of used goods business occurred in Pengadang Village and to find out how the role of communication in the diffusion of secondhand goods business innovation occurred in Pengadang Village. This study also seeks to find out the communication of secondhand innovation in order to develop community empowerment programs. And also its influence on the community's strategy for the development of the used goods business. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected by means of observation and interview techniques, also supported by literature study. The results show that through the process of diffusion of innovation, this business has now become popular and is widely practiced by the people in Pengadang Village and with communication, the secondhand goods business in Pengadang Village is now a large growing business and is widely cultivated by the local community. The implementation of the communication strategy in the innovation of used goods processing is going well. Such as outreach activities, making pamphlets, brochures, exhibitions, and using the media to encourage the process of rapid diffusion of innovation in Pengadang Village.

Alas Kedaton tourist is a natural tourist attraction. The tourist attraction offered such as forests, monkeys and bats in this natural attraction. In the middle of the Alas Kedaton forest there is a Dalem Kahyangan Kedaton temple that is unique. The choice of this location as a place of research is to find out how the management and role of the local community of Kukuh Village in developing Alas Kedaton as a tourist attraction. The research methodology used is this study is a descriptive qualitative research, with observation, interview, literature study and documentation techniques. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The theory or concept used is the concept of role, local society, tourist attraction and management. The result of this research is that management in Alas Kelaton tourist attraction involves local communities actively. The involvement and role of the local community of Desa Kukuh is empowered to become a member of the management body, counter staff, janitors, local guides, security officers, Alas Kedaton Trader Group (KPAK) and as well as forming tourism awareness organisations such as tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis).
