In the article different approaches to the definition of the essence of the concepts of «self-realization», «professional self-realization» have been considered. The factors influencing the process of lecturers’ selfactualization, pedagogical conditions of self-actualization of the lecturer’s personality have been singled out. In view of the concepts and approaches analyzed, in our study self-realization is understood as a specially organized activity by the subject, the purpose of which is the realization of their own purpose, as well as the result of this activity, is closely connected with self-development and self-affirmation of the individual. Under professional selfrealization, we mean the socialized way of harmonious development of the individual, combined with the acquisition of professional and practical experience in the process of obtaining a qualification by a future specialist during the period of initial professional formation (studying at a higher school) and improving professional growth in the process of fulfilling professional roles and responsibilities, which is an inalienable attribute of the disclosure and implementation of personal and professional potential. In the article, the professional self-realization of the future lecturer of a higher educational institution has been disclosed as a pedagogical problem, the essence of which is the constant self-improvement and self-development of their own potential. It has been determined that the formation of readiness, the nature of the process of professional self-actualization and its outcome depend on both internal and external conditions. External conditions have a certain impact on the internal, thus changing the level of readiness of the student to professional self-realization. Significant influence on the formation of readiness for self-realization in the professional sphere has a set of pedagogical conditions provided in the process of professional training: actualization of students’ subjective experience and its inclusion in the content of professional training, ensuring communication between the subjects of the educational process on the basis of dialogical interaction, the formation of value guidelines of future lecturers for professional self-realization. It has been established that the effectiveness of the self-realization process is related to the success of a master student’s pedagogical activity in the process of assistant practice and positive future professional benchmarks, which reveals possible career prospects.

The greatest minds of antiquity laid the foundation for the science of persuasion, that is, an ability to persuade the listener to a given point of view. The sophists were particularly successful in this. The works of the classics show how complex the process of persuasion is. To convince means to make you believe that you are right. One of the characteristics of human society in the 21st century is that the individual is increasingly viewed predominantly as a consumer. The turbulent development of science and technology has also resulted in new, changed consumer behavior patterns, which are achieving a new role in the modern society. Research into consumer behavior imposes itself as an imperative of successful functioning of the economic and social system. Many companies are faced with serious problems of effectiveness and efficiency of their conducted marketing activities. The consumer is predominantly becoming the central factor determining a company's corporate performance, but the key problem lies in the fact that the prevalent philosophy of the marketing practices still regards the consumers as “passive end users” of the value created, neglecting their changed role, behavior, and impact on market processes.Presenting and analyzing the results of research from marketing literature dealing with the problem of changed market behavior, this article aims to point to the necessity to change the thinking patterns of marketing theory and practice on the significance and impact of the consumer on companies’ corporate performance by accepting new roles that the consumers have in the contemporary society.By changing the attitude toward consumers as key stakeholders on the market and accepting their new roles, companies get guidelines for shaping and amending their marketing strategies toward raising the quality of corporate performance, and the same stands for institutions responsible for the functioning of a society and the state as a whole. The current marketing reality inexorably promotes the notion that consumer behavior as a whole is an essential social process shaped by intensive word-of-mouth communication. As a science and practice, marketing must become a complex and fluid system of network relationships, constantly redefining itself toward integration with the changes of contemporary consumers and their modus vivendi.

he article discusses the provisions of research on the problems of models of professional self-determination. The approaches of scientists to understanding the essence of the concepts of "self-determination", "professional self-determination" are analyzed. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the system of professional training of future specialists is not sufficiently aimed at the formation of a specialist as a person and professional with a certain set of personal qualities, values, knowledge, abilities and skills. There is growing interest not only in the development of the theory and practice of social work, but also in the personality of a professional, his features and qualitative characteristics. This work is an attempt to generalize the existing models of professional self-determination and to reveal the specificity of the circumstances of such self-determination for the sphere of social work, as a separate case of self-determination, acquires specific features due to the conflict of individual features and ideas of the future social worker about himself, his role and status in the communities surrounding the individual , about society (formed by cultural norms) and individual factors that are characteristic of this field of activity. The article used such research methods as the method of theoretical analysis, modeling, abstraction. As an approach for analyzing the structure of the act of self-determination, we used the model proposed by P.G. Shchedrovitsky in works on positioning / self-determination / self-identification. The analysis of the phenomenon of professional self-determination through the prism of this model of the act of self-determination made it possible to single out the specifics of the main groups of factors relevant to the process of professional self-determination of a future social worker.

Professional self-determination of students, its economic, pedagogical and psychological prerequisites are becoming increasingly relevant subjects for research in Russian science. However, the issues related to the social prerequisites of this process remain much less studied: the students’ ideas about the socioprofessional structure of the society, the adequacy of their ideas about the content of jobs in professional areas they might choose. As a theoretical basis of the study, the author considers the psychological and sociological theory of self-determination (self-determination theory), which focuses on the autonomy of the individual in various fields of activity, including educational and labor. The author notes the importance of taking into account the objective factors of professional choice considered in Soviet works on this issue as well as in classical articles of the structural functionalism representatives. The empirical base of the research is the materials of diagnostic surveys conducted in the Perm region since 2017 to assess readiness of basic school students for professional self-determination. The author analyzes the indicators characterizing the students’ ideas about the objective conditions of professional selfdetermination concerning two areas: the adequacy of students’ ideas about the socio-professional structure of the society and various ways of considering the significance of particular factors in choosing the future path by students. The survey allows us to identify a number of problems regarding the adequacy of students’ ideas about the socio-professional structure of the society: despite the wide range of different activities that students are able to name and evaluate in terms of their relevance in the region, to a considerable extent basic school graduates do not possess a clear idea of the content of jobs as well as the conditions of professional activity.

Today, worldview, spiritual and moral problems that have always been reflected in education and upbringing come to the fore in society. In this situation, there is a demand for philosophical categories. One of the priority goals of education in modern conditions is the formation of a reasonable, reflexive person who is able to analyze their actions and the actions of other people. Modern science is characterized by an understanding of the absolute value and significance of childhood in the development of the individual, which implies the need for its multilateral study. In the conditions of democratization of all spheres of life, the child ceases to be a passive object of education and training, and becomes an active carrier of their own meanings of being and the subject of world creation. One of the realities of childhood is philosophizing, so it is extremely timely to address the identification of its place and role in the world of childhood. Children's philosophizing is extremely poorly studied, although the need for its analysis is becoming more obvious. Children's philosophizing is one of the forms of philosophical reflection, which has its own qualitative specificity, on the one hand, and commonality with all other forms of philosophizing, on the other. The social relevance of the proposed research lies in the fact that children's philosophizing can be considered as an intellectual indicator of a child's socialization, since the process of reflection involves the adoption and development of culture. Modern society, in contrast to the traditional one, is ready to "accept" a philosophizing child, which means that it is necessary to determine the main characteristics and conditions of children's philosophizing.

The existing legislation determines the education as "an integral and focused process of teaching and upbringing, which represents a socially important value and shall be implemented so as to meet the interests of the individual, the family, the society and the state". However, even in this part, the meaning of the notion ‘socially significant benefit is not specified and allows for a wide range of interpretation [2]. Yet the more inconcrete is the answer to the question – "who and how should determine the interests of the individual, the family and even the state?" The national doctrine of education in the Russian Federation, which determined the goals of teaching and upbringing, the ways to attain them by means of the state policy regulating the field of education, the target achievements of the development of the educational system for the period up to 2025, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 4, 2000 #751, was abrogated by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 29, 2014 #245 [7]. The new doctrine has not been developed so far. The RAE Academician A.B. Khutorsky believes that the absence of the national doctrine of education presents a threat to national security and a violation of the right of citizens to quality education. Accordingly, the teacher has to solve the problem of achieving the harmony of interests of the individual, the family, the society and the government on their own, which, however, judging by the officially published results, is the task that exceeds the abilities of the participants of the educational process.  The particular concern about the results of the patriotic upbringing served as a basis for the legislative initiative of the RF President V. V. Putin, who introduced the project of an amendment to the Law of RF "About Education of the Russian Federation" to the State Duma in 2020, regarding the quality of patriotic upbringing [3]. Patriotism, considered by the President of RF V. V. Putin as the only possible idea to unite the nation is "THE FEELING OF LOVE OF THE MOTHERLAND" and the readiness for every sacrifice and heroic deed for the sake of the interests of your Motherland. However, the practicing educators experience shortfalls in efficient methodologies of patriotic upbringing, which should let them bring up citizens, loving their Motherland more than themselves. The article is dedicated to solution to this problem based on the Value-sense paradigm of upbringing educational dynasty of the Kurbatovs [15].

Universities have a crucial role in the modern world. In England, entrance to universities is by nation-wide competition which means English universities have an exceptional influence on schools--a striking theme of the book. This important book first investigates the university as an institution and then tracks the individual on their journey to and through university. In A University Education, David Willetts presents a compelling case for the ongoing importance of the university, both as one of the great institutions of modern society and as a transformational experience for the individual. The book also makes illuminating comparisons with higher education in other countries, especially the US and Germany. Drawing on his experience as UK Minister for Universities and Science from 2010 to 2014, the author offers a powerful account of the value of higher education and the case for more expansion. He covers controversial issues in which he was involved from access for disadvantaged students to the introduction of L9,000 fees. The final section addresses some of the big questions for the future, such as the the relationship between universities and business, especially in promoting innovation.. He argues that the two great contemporary trends of globalisation and technological innovation will both change the university significantly. This is an authoritative account of English universities setting them for the first time in their new legal and regulatory framework.
