Despite the fact that we live in a country where the farmers' associations are created among the first on the Old Continent, and where one of the first Institute for Nature Protection is created, statistics warn us that the demise of several hundred Serbian villages and thus the emptying of strategically important areas of the state of Serbia today, is a serious development problem. In this paper an analysis of the rural, age and educational structure of the population, in rural areas of the Republic of Serbia, has been performed. The authors believe that the situation is not hopeless and point out that the sustainable development of the village is possible only if favorable local preconditions for it are met. Therefore, it is necessary to revive and institutionally expand the competencies of rural local communities as a form of local rural self-government in the Serbian folk tradition. Accordingly, decentralization and polycentric development are the main conditions for the renewal of the population and devastated parts of Serbia. Moreover, native networks and integrated rural development are models applicable through LAP in accordance with the characteristics of the area. Nowadays, it is necessary to raise people's awareness of the importance of rural survival and sustainable management of resources in agriculture, i.e. to breathe new life into rural areas, which would also be a motive for staying in the countryside.

For the sustainable development of the territory, it is proposed to form a tourist route that combines the key points of attracting tourists using the features of the tourist infrastructure. General logical methods-the analogy of domestic and foreign experience in organizing routes in rural areas, induction and observation, the theoretical method-historical and socio-cultural analysis of the Novosheshma region-revealed significant aspects in the organization of tourist infrastructure and methods of their correct use in these conditions. The result of the study was the creation of a tourist route on the territory of the Novosheshminsky region, followed by a proposal for the classification of tourist infrastructure objects necessary for its full functioning.

The article analyzes the main organizational and legal aspects and administrative decisions in the field of ensuring and regulating the socio-economic and demographic development of the village at the regional level using the example of the Saratov region. The foreign experience is also considered on the example of Kazakhstan and its domestic policy of development of rural areas. The most effective measures in this area will be carried out taking into account regional characteristics and national and cultural values in order to eliminate the existing shortcomings associated with the emergence of depopulation of rural areas and the underestimation of its consequences, the absence of hierarchically aligned priorities in the implementation of socio-economic policy. The basis for the development of the village is the creation of prerequisites for the formation of points of growth in socio-cultural and economic spheres and should be carried out on the basis of an increase in the income of residents, an increase in labor productivity and the use of various alternative factors inherent in a market economy with a social bias. It is required to create the necessary conditions to improve the quality of life of the population of the village at the expense of state support funds, the use of part of the profits of large agricultural formations and rich peasant (farmer) households. Regulation of labor migration is necessary at the level of not only making appropriate state decisions (regional or local), but also establishing social, organizational and economic measures by agricultural and other producers themselves in order to prevent the outflow of the able-bodied population. It is also required to generate the necessary conditions for effective employment of the population in rural areas based on the development of agricultural and non-agricultural activities based on the needs of the consumer market.

Rural Revitalization cannot be carried out simply through industrialization that has been done by the traditional development. It needs the simultaneous development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries because the traditional development mode of rural tourism, which allows farmers to move away from villages and occupy good natural resources, has not been accepted.  In the process of rural revitalization development, the village collective should play a major role in formulating standardized processes and methods, focusing on optimizing resources, excavating the unique culture of the countryside, and encouraging the villagers to participate actively.   As an important link between villagers, tourists and the natural environment, rural leisure can promote villagers' return, retain tourists, and finally promote rural revitalization with the concept of ecological civilization, so as to realize the sustainable development of rural areas.

Abstract This paper explores the parallel interpretation of the funerals, the folk beliefs and the symbolic understandings of funeral customs in the Greek and the folk tradition in the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. Most of the Greek funeral customs, as well as those in the Macedonian folk tradition, can be connected with those that were practiced in other people and in other times. Although impression is gained that the ancient funeral customs have been forgotten, they have lived their development thus as they could, with the aim to satisfy the living and to give expression of human grief, pain, enthusiasm and even hope. In the Greek and Macedonian folk traditions, old beliefs and rites are present today as well in these areas. In some places they have been altered as a result of the contemporary views, and in some rural areas are almost identical as in the time when they first appeared. The aim is to show the similarities and differences within the scope of the funeral and magical - ritual actions between these two folk traditions that begin immediately after the death of a loved one and continue until the funeral. This paper will also offer a comparative analysis of the funeral customs between the Greek and the Macedonian folk tradition by observing the rudiments of the funeral customs that were practiced in the past. In certain cases they have been altered as a result of modern views, and in some rural areas they have remained unchanged

The problems in implementation of a number of programs adopted for the development of rural settlements in Kazakhstan are shown, including: low level of production and engineering infrastructure in rural areas of the republic; decline in the quality of education due to the lack of competition among social workers in rural areas. Proposals on early solution of the current situation have been developed. The need for stage-by-stage financing of the assigned tasks and strict control over their implementation, provision of financial mechanisms is indicated, in order to increase the remuneration of specialists in the field of agro-industrial production, it is necessary to develop specific effective measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of agricultural sector. The authors state that budget expenditures for the development of low-potential RS are ineffective. Prospects for the development of rural areas to a certain extent depend on the activation of regional public bodies and local self-government in expanding the methods of managing socioeconomic processes, developing interaction with the population and business structures, which will make it possible to successfully implement the set objectives, significantly increase the level of employment and incomes of the rural population, improve living conditions and on this basis increase the number of regions with stable rural population; will help improve the quality of life of the village residents. In the course of the study, methods of comparing economic indicators in dynamics, systematization, and generalization of scientific data were used.
