The Social Forestry Policy (PS) in the Perhutani working area has started a new beginning towards the current PS implementation. The issuance of regulation P.39 / 2017 was colored by various narratives / discourses from various actors decorating the journey of the policy issuance above. Using a narrative / discourse analysis approach, this study intends to explore the narratives used by parties in the policy process and those who receive the impact of SF policies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis within-depth interviews with selected respondents proportionally (purposive sampling). The results of the study explain that the narrative of each party is different. The narrative brought by the pro to the policy is based on the condition of the forest and the social conditions of the community around the forest that have not been successfully improved, including the PHBM program that needs to be evaluated. The IPHPS scheme provides opportunities for access and higher profit sharing for the community to manage forests with low cover conditions (10%) and or social conditions that need to be addressed. Perhutani brought a narrative about the current regulation violating the previous regulation.

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to analyse the impact of community participation in the village forest management of Simancuang to community welfare. A survey method to 30 respondents combined with qualitative data collection (in depth interviews) are applied in this study. The research located at the forest village Jorong Simancuang, Nagari Alam Pauh Duo, South Solok, West Sumatera. The results showed that the social forestry policy, which in this case protected forest Nagari Jorong Simancuang set as village forest, has generated community participation of Jorong in managing the village forest. Besides that, the result show that the social forestry policy and high participation of the Jorong Simancuang’s community have had a significant impact in increasing household income, housing conditions, and respondent’s residential environment of Jorong Simancuang.Keywords: participation, social forestry policy, income, and housing conditions.------------------------------------ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh partisipasi dalam pengelolaan hutan nagari Simancuang terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan 30 responden sebagai sumber data primer, dan dikombinasikan dengan pengumpulan data kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Hutan Nagari Jorong Simancuang, Nagari Alam Pauh Duo, Solok Selatan, Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan Perhutanan Sosial, yang dalam hal ini hutan lindung Nagari Jorong Simancuang ditetapkan sebagai Hutan Desa, telah membangkitkan partisipasi warga Jorong dalam mengelola hutan nagari. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan kebijakan Perhutanan Sosial dan partisipasi tinggi warga Jorong Simancuang telah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan, kondisi rumah, dan lingkungan pemukiman responden Jorong Simancuang.Kata Kunci: Perhutanan Sosial, partisipasi, pendapatan, dan kondisi rumah.

This paper offers new insights into the promotion of the Exercise is Medicine (EIM) framework for mental illness and chronic disease. Utilising the Syndemics Framework, which posits mental health conditions as corollaries of social conditions, we argue that medicalized exercise promotion paradigms both ignore the social conditions that can contribute to mental illness and can contribute to mental illness via discrimination and worsening self-concept based on disability. We first address the ways in which the current EIM framework may be too narrow in scope in considering the impact of social factors as determinants of health. We then consider how this narrow scope in combination with the emphasis on independence and individual prescriptions may serve to reinforce stigma and shame associated with both chronic disease and mental illness. We draw on examples from two distinct research projects, one on exercise interventions for depression and one on exercise interventions for multiple sclerosis (MS), in order to consider ways to improve the approach to exercise promotion for these and other, related populations.

The objective of this study was to understand the impact of the opioid overdose epidemic on the social lives of people suffering from chronic pain, focusing on interactions within their personal and professional circles. The study was based on 22 in-depth interviews with people living with chronic pain in Canada. Using thematic analysis, we documented three main impacts of the opioid overdose epidemic: (a) increased worries of people in pain and their families regarding the dangers of opioids; (b) prejudices, stigma, and discrimination faced during conversations about opioids; and (c) stigma management attempts, which include self-advocacy and concealment of opioid use. This study represents important knowledge advancement on how people manage stigma and communicate about chronic disease during everyday life interactions. By showing negative effects of the epidemic’s media coverage on the social experiences of people with chronic pain, we underscore needs for destigmatizing approaches in public communication regarding opioids.

<h1>Mobile   Legends   Online   Games:   Bang   Bang   is   one   manifestation   of   technological development in new media. The purpose of this study was to find out how the positive and negative impact of playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang online games to FISIP UMA students who play games. The theory used in this study is communication, new media, positive and negative online games. The method used is a qualitative method. Where the informants fifth in FISIP UMA students. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and documentary evidence. The result of the study show that the impact of playing Mobile Legends is influenced by the attitude of the players, indifferent to the social environment, wasteful in terms of time and economy, can get new friends in cyberspace from other countries so as not to limit interaction, add insight and experience about technology.</h1><h1><strong> </strong></h1><h1> </h1>

This study aims to find the social impact, morals, and strategies for dealing with COVID-19 among students. Another goal is to find out the social, religious and psychological impact of COVID-19 on students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The research method approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with the head of the student class. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were carefully examined through triangulation. The results showed that students could not establish social relations between students and did not participate in campus social organizations. Another finding, the Covid-19 outbreak has an impact on student morals because online meetings are more difficult to foster student morals because teachers do not meet students. In addition, students experience various stresses due to piling tasks and online learning does not face various obstacles such as difficulty communicating with lecturers and not understanding the material. Students take various ways to overcome stress such as listening to favourite music, watching YouTube, playing games, getting enough rest, eating favourite foods such as eating meatballs, straightening intentions, and also strengthening worship and getting closer to God.

    The research aims to study the impact of unemployment on the social conditions in the Palestinian society from the point of view of the unemployed youth, especially in the current time period (2019), the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the research community consists of young people in the governorate of Ramallah. The researcher used the questionnaire tool, and the data were analyzed by the analysis program (SPSS). It was found that the majority of youth are unemployed, they are middle age, single and large families, urban residents, people with specialties and low income. As for the results of the research, there was an increase in the impact of the forms of unemployment on the social conditions of the individual, family and society and their outlook towards the future, came the highest degree on the social conditions of the individual (6. 90%) and then the social conditions of the family (3. 83%), Followed by the societal conditions to reach the value (78%), came the lowest values ​​for the outlook for the future, which amounted to (67%). Some of the features of the impact of unemployment, including the tension, anxiety and frustration of the young group. As for the nature of the relationship between the variables of the study, there was a statistically significant relationship between the combined unemployment and the low income, between the apparent, persuasive and compulsory unemployment, and the individual, family and societal situations and the outlook for them. At the end of the research a number of recommendations were made, most notably the need to balance the types of education and activate the social and cultural role of the family.

The social impact of reading the book Radical Love cannot be grasped by the dominant discourse on the evaluation of social impact. A deep understanding of autobiographical memories must go beyond the quantitative analysis of details and episodes to qualitatively examine the meanings constructed through recollection. Thus, we explored young women’s memories of intimate partner violence through memory narratives and the way these memories were reconstructed when the women read Radical Love. In addition, we examined the personal meanings given to this reading experience through in-depth interviews and a focus group. The results showed that Radical Love made the participants more critical about their memories and made these memories unappealing. This reading led some women to leave violent relationships and transform their prospective thinking. In a time when impact is measured mainly by research articles, this qualitative analysis of the memory transformation promoted by reading Radical Love demonstrates that books can also have a social impact.

This research found that the Norma of Riba in Islamic Economics is a khilafiyah problem as well as the law of Bank Interest, in principle, mutual tolerance and mutual respect and respect for inter-opinions must be put forward. The paper focuses on how social media usage by children determines their interactions with consumer brands. First it describes how and when young children develop brand awareness and which are the most important predictors of this development. Those findings are then put in connection with the impact of social media. We elaborate on a deeper level how children approach online communications with brands in the social media context. Our assumptions are supported by a research conducted on a group of New Zealand children, both boys and girls in the age group of 11-14 years. This qualitative approach was implemented using in-depth interviews and identifies three key modes of brand interaction behaviour when young consumers use social media. According to these findings we assume that there is a connection between the use of social media and children´s relationship with consumer brands.

<p class="ListParagraph1"><em>This article focuses on implementing the Social learning method, which is used by Persatuan Islam organization in Garut district (West Java) and aims to found the impact of the curriculum for Santri life to strengthen the puritanism among society. This is mainly because Pesantren Persatuan Islam, the Islamic educational institution from Indonesia, has led citizens to broaden their knowledge and skills. Santri (pesantren students) should take a preaching class, which becomes one of the most well-known curriculums to spread Islamic values in society. This is a qualitative-descriptive that uses observation and in-depth interviews. The study indicates the method in Pesantren Persatuan Islam Garut district has a huge impact on social skills since it can also implement in society. This is mainly because the strategies of the Persatuan Islam (Persis) organization give some social contributions, so the people become accustomed to the Persis activities and leading some members of society to enroll their children to some Persatuan Islam religious schools.</em><em>          </em><em></em></p><p>Artikel ini berfokus pada implementasi dari metode pembelajaran sosial yang diberlakukan oleh organisasi Persatuan Islam di Kabupaten Garut (Jawa Barat) dan bertujuan untuk menemukan dampak dari kurikulum pada kehidupan santri dalam rangka penguatan nilai purtan di masyarakat. Hal ini didasarkan pada Pesantren Persatuan Islam sebagai salah salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dari Indonesia telah membina masyarakat untuk dapat memperluas ilmu pengetahuan dan keahliannya. Santri (siswa pesantren) harus mendalami dakwah yang menjadi salah satu kurikulum paling populer sehingga mereka mampu untuk menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam puritan di kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik observasi serta wawancara kepada beberapa sumber penting yang berkaitan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode yang digunakan oleh Persatuan Islam Kab. Garut memberikan dampak yang besar pada kemampuan sosial sejak hal tersebut dapat diimplementasikan di dalam masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan karena strategi yang digunakan oleh Persis memberikan kontribusi sosial sehingga orang-orang menjadi terbiasa dengan kegiatan Persis serta membuat masyarakat tertarik untuk mendaftarkan anak-anak mereka ke beberapa pesantren Persatuan Islam.</p>
