This study aims to describe the history and distribution of Randai, as well as making Randai’s distribution maps in Kuantansingi Regency, Riau Province. This research is qualitative-descriptive. The data are obtained through field data and library data. Through this research, it is known that the Randai of Kuantansingingi originally comes from Minangkabau and has undergone changes. The acculturation of Minangkabau culture with Malay and change of times has led to changes in stories, language, costumes, dances (joget), musical instruments, and when it is performed, even the view of people on Randai. In the process of making the Randai of Kuantansingingi’s Map in Riau Province, 49 Randai groups were inventoried in various sub-districts in Kuantansingingi Regency. All these Randai groups have been mapped onto the Map of Kuantansingingi’s Randai.

In the research field, smartphone began to be used for field data collection. One application that was used was KoBoCollect. This article shared the experience of using KoBoCollect in research on the socio-economic impact of blood diseases on banana in Sumba Island. The research was conducted by interviewing 64 banana farmers that spread proportionally in four regencies in Sumba Island. The use of KoBoCollect/toolbox made it easy to collect, save and manage research data. KoBoCollect/toolbox provided the advantages of conducting paperless research, able to record data in complex formats such as numeric data, descriptive data, photos, videos, sounds, coordinates and other data, dynamically making forms changes when conducting research, and displaying interactive applications. KoBoCollect can be run off-line, made it possible to collect field data in remote locations and no internet network. The research data was transmitted online so that the data tabulation process was automatic. Simple data analysis such as median values, mode, graphs and distribution maps of data collection were provided in KoBotoolbox. With KoBoCollect/toolbox, researchers quickly find out the results of the research, as in this research it was known that blood disease had an impact on the decrease in the banana population revealed by 81.54% of farmers.

Abstrak. Kesenian rakyat diyakini sebagai bagian dari identitas dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Pemikiran inilah yang menjadi landasan peneliti mengungkap adanya produksi wacana identitas masyarakat dalam kesenian Gajah-gajahan di desa Plunturan. Untuk mengungkap identitas dalam kesenian Gajah-gajahan di desa Plunturan, peneliti mengaplikasikan semiotika Roland Barthes. Untuk melihat tanda-tanda yang ada dalam setiap elemen dari kesenian Gajaha-gajahan seperti gerak, aksesoris, alat musik, kostum, dan penari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan studi etnografi dengan analisis semiotika berdasarkan fakta yang ditemukan di lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari temuan tersebut, tim peneliti melihat adanya identitas dari desa Plunturan adalah sebuah harmonisasi kehidupan desa Plunturan yang sangat menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kebaikan berupa perjuangan, keberagaman, kesetaraan, gotong royong, dan religius. Abstract. Folk art is believed to be part of identity in people's lives. This thought is the basis of researchers revealing the production of community identity discourse in Gajah-gajahan (the art of Elephant) in Plunturan. To reveal the identity Gajah-Gajahan (the art of Elephant) in Plunturan, researchers applied roland barthes semiotics. To see the signs that exist in every element of Gajah-gajahan art such as motion, accessories, musical instruments, costumes, and dancers. The method used in this study uses qualitative descriptive methods, with ethnographic studies with semiotic analysis based on facts found in the field through observations, interviews and documentation. From the findings, the research team saw the identity of Plunturan is a harmonization of plunturan village life that highly upholds the values of goodness in the form of struggle, diversity, equality, mutual cooperation, and religion

Batik is a cultural heritage of ancestors which is still developing. Batik in Indonesia has its own diversity and distinctive characteristics, including in the Papua region. In Papua batik has characteristics that describe animals, plants and musical instruments. In this study, the use of motifs in Enggros tribe has a different position from each of its clans. Some motifs in the Enggros cannot be used by other clans. Each of these batik motifs has a meaning and hereditary meaning. This study uses a review of the shape of the motif, colour, and aesthetic value. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method supported by the hermeneutic theory as a method of obtaining a valid interpretation of objectivity. The results of this research discussion reveal about Enggros batik as a characteristic of the Enggros tribe whose surname is from the Iwo Tribe. Expectations achieved in this study can help and find out the motives of the Enggros and the community is expected to understand more deeply these motifs as a legacy of ancestral tradition.

West Java is the area that is rich in traditional music, one of them is angklung, which is a musical instrument made of bamboo and played by shaking . As one of the traditional musical instruments, angklung as musical instrument should be maintained by the community so that it can still be heard and played and even preserved to the next generation. One effort to appreciate and preserve angklung traditional music, IGTKI (Bandung Kindergarten Teachers Association) held a Training to improve the professional competence of early childhood education teachers as a target audience in mastering traditional angklung music to be able to transfer knowledge to children early age in PAUD. The purpose of this study  analyzed the implementation of angklung extracurricular learning in PAUD in Bandung as a vehicle for the preservation of traditional music in West Java. This study uses qualitative descriptive as the method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. By preserving angklung traditional music, it is hoped that angklung music will remain a cultural heritage of West Java without fear of being seized by other countries.Keywords; Training, Education Teachers, PAUD, Angklung

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instrument and camera. The data were collected through interviews, literature study, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by identifying the data, classifying the data, describing the data, and making conclusions. The results show that the learning process for the musical ensemble at SMP Negeri 29 Padang consists of group division, coinciding, selection of musical instruments, and learning of each music / instrument. The music ensemble learning activities are divided into three stages: preparation, practice / process, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, the teacher prepares the teaching document and  subject matter while the students prepare musical instruments. In the practice / process stage, the teacher gives apperception in reminding about the meaning of musical ensembles and types of musical instruments, introducing songs to be played, and providing musical scores as well as techniques for playing recorder and pianica. In the evaluation stage, the teacher assesses, reviews, and sees the success and development of students towards learning.Keywords: Descriptive Study, Learning, Ensemble

The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the concept of profit sharing to financing products at Bank Syari'ah Mandiri KCP Curup which includes financial administration records which will be analyzed with DSN fatwa no. 14/DSN-MUI/IX/2000 and the profit-sharing method analyzed by DSN fatwa no. 15/DSN-MUI/IX/2000. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The main data source of this research comes from field data by collecting data from informants. The results showed that the profit sharing at Bank Syari'ah Mandiri KCP Curup was applied to Chanelling financing and Revolving Fund Financing. In terms of recording financial administration, when the transaction is related to bank disbursements the method used is accrual basis while when the transaction is related to bank receipts the method used is cash basis. This is in accordance with DSN fatwa no. 14/DSN-MUI/IX/2000. Chanelling financing method used is revenue sharing and Revolving Fund Financing cannot be classified into profit sharing or revenue sharing, the determination of the amount of bank profit is based on the use of capital by customers each month as seen from customer account mutations so that it is not relevant to DSN fatwa no. 15/DSN-MUI/IX/2000.

This study aims to determine what strategies are used to increase the sale of keris weapons in the village of Aeng Tong-Tong Sumenep. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, descriptive research aims to collect detailed information by describing the situation in the field, data obtained through interviews with researchers from informants. From the results of research that can be obtained that the marketing communication mix that has been used by businessmen in the village of Aeng Tong-Tong Sumenep currently is Advertising, Sales promotion, Event and experiences, Online and social media marketing,interactive marketing, Personal selling. With the marketing communication mix relatively increased compared to before using only conventional sales methods.

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini menjelaskan estetika musikal dalam pertunjukan Ronggeng Tayub, khususnya lagu Rincik-rincik yang dalam sajiannya terdapat perpaduan garap musikal karawitan Sunda dan karawitan Jawa (Banyumasan). Ronggeng Tayub merupakan salah satu bentuk kesenian rakyat di Kabupaten Ciamis dan sekitarnya. Penelaahan dilakukan melalui kajian teknik tabuhan, repertoar lagu, syair lagu, serta menelaah relasi masyarakat dengan seni karawitan dalam kaitannya dengan pertunjukan Ronggeng Tayub di wilayah perbatasan Ciamis-Cilacap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu metode deskriptif analisis kualitatif. Teknik mengumpulkan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan yang didukung dengan wawancara dan perekaman kejadian guna mendapatkan validitas data yang lebih utuh dan menyeluruh. Sajian gending dalam lagu ini menghadirkan kesan kesedarhanaan yang mencerminkan konsep hidup masyarakat pendukungnya. Ronggeng Tayub memiliki bentuk pertunjukan yang sangat merakyat, menyatu, dan komunikatif dengan penontonnya. Lagu Rincik-rincik termasuk pada lagu “pesanan” dari penonton, sajian gendingnya khas, unik, dan dinamis dengan iringan instrumen gamelan salendro yang relatif sederhana.Kata Kunci: estetika musikal, rincik-rincik, ronggeng tayub, kesenian rakyat AbstractThe purpose of this study is to explain the musical aesthetic of the Ronggeng Tayub performance, especially the Rincik-rincik song, which combines Sundanese and Java musical instruments (Banyumasan). Ronggeng Tayub is folk art in District Ciamis and surrounding. The study of Rincik-rincik song includes percussion techniques, song repertoire, song poetry, and the relationship between the community and the Ronggeng Tayub. This study uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical method. The techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and recording in order to obtain a more complete and comprehensive data validity. The performance of gending in Ronggeng Tayub presents the impression of simplicity, reflecting the concept of the life of the people. Ronggeng Tayub has a simple form of performance, blending, and communicative with the audience. Rincik-rincik is one of “special request” song from its audience, by which its gending is unique and dynamic, accompanied by a simple gamelan slendro.Keywords: aesthetic, rincik-rincik, ronggeng tayub, artfolks

This assumption actually needs wakaf’s properties and fund sources to increase fundraising model of wakaf. This article is to investigate fundraising model of wakaf trough conventional resources, assets productivity, and ‘in-link’ of wakaf at YDSF Surabaya. The writer uses qualitative descriptive approach to seek the field data from a single case. Findings show that “Yayasan Dana Sosial al-Falah” (YDSF) Surabaya applies not only fundraising management of wakaf to improve resource fundraising model for collecting conventional resources but also grant  fundraising to enrich wakaf distribution program. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk musik senggayung yang mencerminkan identitas budaya masyarakat desa Gerai Kabupaten Ketapang. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus interpretatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Serta menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan data untuk menjaga validitasnya. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melaui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan simpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, musik senggayung merupakan musik yang mencerminkan identitas budaya masyarakat desa Gerai Kabupaten Ketapang. Musik senggayung hanya ada di daerah gerai, musik unik yang tidak dimiliki daerah lain. Jika dilihat dari organologinya, senggayung tergolong kedalam alat musik idiophone yang terbuat dari bambu. Yang membuat menarik, penggunaan alat musik senggayung hanya bisa untuk sekali pakai pada satu upacara, tidak bisa digunakan lagi untuk upacara lainnya jika jarak waktu upacara lebih dari 3-4 hari. Hal ini berkaitan dengan timbre yang dihasilkan oleh bambu. Musik senggayung biasa digunakan untuk mengiringi proses upacara-upacara masyarakat desa Gerai. Beberapa faktor-faktor pembentuk identitas budaya yaitu (1) kepercayaan, (2) bahasa, (3) pola prilaku, sudah tercermin dalam senggayung.This study aims to analyze the shape of senggayung music that reflects the cultural identity of the village community of Ketapang regency. The research method used qualitative descriptive with interpretative case study research design. The data were collected by observation, interview, and document study. As well as using triangulation techniques of sources and data to maintain its validity. While the data analysis technique is done through the process of reduction, presentation, and withdrawal of conclusion (verification). The results of this study indicate, senggayung music is a music that reflects the cultural identity of the village community of Ketapang regency. Senggayung music only exist in the area of outlets, unique music that is not owned by other regions. When viewed from the organology, senggayung belong to idiophone musical instruments made of bamboo. What makes it interesting, the use of senggayung musical instruments can only be for one use at a ceremony, can not be used anymore for other ceremonies if the distance of ceremony time more than 3-4 days. This is related to the timbre produced by bamboo. Senggayung music is used to accompany the process of ceremonies of Gerai village community. Some of the factors that make up the cultural identity are (1) belief, (2) language, (3) behavior pattern, already reflected in senggayung.Keywords: Senggayung, Cultural Identity
