The article deals with the problem of organizing the methodical work of a teacher on the quality of timbre sound of the pop vocal ensemble depending on the level of development of vocal skills of singers. Throughout the period of students’ education in ensemble singing at the Department of Pop and Jazz Art, the author managed to highlight four stages in the trans-formation of the quality of the timbre sound of singing voices and to give special recommendations to the methodology of the teacher’s work in accordance with the tasks of training. Stage 1: from the very beginning of work with the singers of the ensemble it is necessary to rely on the quality of sound that is available at the moment. The joint sound of the singers «voices, is distinguished by the absence of unison, the forcing of sound and the diversity of pronouncing the phonemes as a result of the various manner of work of the articulation apparatus. A special task of the teacher is to prevent sound forcing, that is, when singing not to exceed the dynamic range: mf - mp. Stage 2: Multi-voice works are included in the educational repertoire. In connection with this, new tasks arise in the work of the teacher — building the structure and ensemble. When singing it is necessary to use special exercises for the development of harmonic hearing of singers, requiring activation of auditory attention and independent work. However, there is some stagnation and even degradation in the development of the singers ’vocal skills. After removing the forcing of the sound, there appears a dullness of the timbre sound of their voices, as singers do not always know how to use singing breath, besides, the reasons for this are general fatigue of the body of students, reduction of cognitive interest, loss of motivation, which can be eliminated by introducing new methods or techniques of work into the learning process. The 3rd stage: timbre sounding of vocal ensemble can be characterized as lighter, facilitated, but rectilinear, that is without singing vibrato. In the process of performing songs, when the melody is transferred to sounds in the area of low tessitura, there is a split of voice due to non-level of voice registers. The educational repertoire should include works that contribute to the formation of the ability to enjoy wide breathing by maintaining the position of inhalation and economical phonation exhalation when singing, as well as works that require flexible nuance and contrast in the type of the sound: staccato, legato, marcato. Stage 4: further consolidation of the acquired knowledge, skills and practices takes place. In the process of singing, the stability of the skill of proper muscle coordination of the whole voice-forming complex is demonstrated as a result of systematic singers’ work. The timbre sound of the singing collective in multi-voice singing is distinguished by the slightness of voices, good structure and ensemble, variety of timbre paints, clarity of articulation and muscle freedom in voice formation. As a result, singing vibrato, smoothness of voice registers, and full voicing of thoracic and head resonators appear in singers’ voices. To consolidate the results, it is necessary to use special vocal exercises in the classroom to master the vocal difficulties of the performed works. The educational repertoire should include works of diverse characters in style, contrasting in pace, rhythm, dynamics and types of sound science. The author emphasizes that the vocal abilities and skills formed by the singers at the previous stages of training require fixing in the process of constant training and improvement in further independent and professional practical work.

A brief analysis of suspension mechanisms and ways to improve the quality of press harvesting for flax harvesting is considered. By researching the mathematical model, the authors prove the possibility of increasing the stability of the elastic characteristics of the suspension mechanisms by changing the angle between the levers or changing the geometry of the structure, for example, the attachment point of a two-arm lever. Particular attention is drawn to the new term “reduced rigidity” of the suspension mechanism. Using this notion and the method of its determination, the authors recommend determining the optimal value of the reduced stiffness of the suspension in the way of mathematical modeling and using this indicator as the main optimization parameter. The results of theoretical and experimental studies were presented by the authors in the form of elastic characteristics of the suspension mechanisms. When conducting a study of the mathematical model, it is suggested to take into account the condition of equality of the maximum values of the moments of forces from the action of the tension forces of the belts or the mass of the working element and the moment of forces acting on the side of the tension springs. During the research of the suspension mechanism, the actual dimensions of the PR-1.5 baler design were adopted. At the same time, we briefly describe the design of the improved tensioning mechanism of a baler for flax harvesting. A rather detailed analysis is given by the authors of the obtained elastic characteristics of the suspension mechanism. Some new features of the elastic characteristics of the suspension mechanism that have not been previously detected are described. To confirm the correctness of the reasoning, the authors implemented their research in a real press-picker and conducted field research that confirmed the possibility of improving the quality of the upgraded version of the machine. To confirm the results of the research, the authors presented a fragment of the field test protocol. The task is solved, uniformity of the roll density is ensured and its density is increased.

The article reviewed the modern empirical studies of alexithymia, summarized the theoretical understanding of the phenomenon of alexithymia, describes the difficulties faced by the people with a high level of alexithymia and suggested tips on psychological work with the alexithymic people. The novelty of this research consists in the formulation of the aspects of the practical work of a psychologist in order to increase the level of the adaptation of the alexithymics and improve the quality of their life. At the moment, this problem is covered in only a small amount of research. The main result of the article is the identification of the areas of psychological work with the alexithymics: (1) the improvement of the connection with the body; (2) the correction of personality problems; (3) the psychological assistance in the harmonization of the interpersonal relations. It has been shown that disrupted connection with the body is one of the most significant problems of the alexithymics and the factor which contributes to the development of psychosomatic diseases. For the improvement of the connection with the body the authors suggest such types of psychological work as the differentiation of physical feelings, a fuller understanding of the body map, the ability to control the condition of the body, the acceptance of the body and the increase in the satisfaction with it. The ways of working with the most significant personality problems of the alexithymics are singled out (correction of non-adaptive coping-strategies, low level of life satisfaction, rigidity, and instability of the emotional sphere). The areas of work on improving the relations of the alexithymics with the surrounding people are highlighted (gaining more knowledge about the emotional sphere, working with friends and relatives, teaching communication skills, taking into account the influence of alexithymia). Finally, the conclusion is made about the importance of the integrated psychological work with the people with a high level of alexithymia in order to develop the specific tools for comprehensive assistance to alexithymics.

The utilisation of the horse has changed from time to time in response to human needs. For a few decades, it has been serving in several equestrian sports more intensively. It has also been proved that the standards for this kind of performance cannot be established in the way certain characteristics, such as the weight gain or milk production of other animal breeds can. Breeding horses for sporting comprises highly complex selection criteria. Some of these (e.g. external features, temperament, manageability and intelligence) do not put the breeder in a difficult position, but finding the traits that establishes the safety of sporting achievements poses a genetic problem. The performance of a horse for sports is a highly complex feature, which cannot easily be assessed or put down in figures. In addition, man plays a decisive role in shaping all kinds of performance of a horse at any given time by not only creating conditions for a better performance, but also by playing an active role in increasing it.The performance of the horse is mostly defined by its general aptitude to movement, ie., the regularity, clear rhythm and springiness of basic types of strides, as well as the ability to move in a naturally balanced way. Training and riding principles are based on these traits. These two together will determine about 70% of the value of the horse and its adequacy for high performance equestrian sports. In order to avoid subjectivity in determining the above variables and to increase the degree of objectivity, competent expert teams (trainers, judges, other riders) are employed to form an opinion on an individual animal.Assessing horse performance outside races does not seem to be efficient, as owing to the dominant effects of the environment, the indicator of inheritability is hardly above 0.1.Free jumping is an especially appropriate means for assessing a horse’s readiness and ability to move in an environment free of disturbing factors. In free jumping, it is especially important to judge the style of the jump. The first phase of jumping – as a sequence of movements – lasts from the moment the fore-feet touch the ground until the moment the hind-feet push off, while the second phase lasts from this moment until touching the ground. The most important task in the first phase is to make the angle of the dip of the body by the supporting fore-feet that is necessary for the jump. The quality of the jump is determined by the jumping and adequately expanded hind-legs. The intensity of pushing off and jumping done by the hind-legs can be inferred, and differences between individuals can be discerned from the shaping of the curve by the hocks and the paths of the pasterns in relation to the withers.

Introduction. The time interval systems for controlling train movement operated under the influence of significant industrial disturbances, interference from the electric current of traction rolling stocks, and significant climate changes that result in fluctuations of parameters of circuit elements. These factors lead to the appearance of internal disturbances. The fluctuations in a wide range of the conductivity of rail lines insulation are the main external disturbances leading to considerable changes of the informative parameter, the voltage at the output end of the rail line. At present, there are many methods for suppressing disturbances, which allow correcting fluctuations in the informative signal without deteriorating the quality of classification. The article deals with the problem of providing insensitivity of the output informative signal to the influence of disturbance by principles of coordinate compensation with a correcting link. Materials and Methods. To solve the problem, various methodologies of compensation for disturbances are considered in the paper; the method of coordinate compensation for disturbances at the input of a quadripole of rail lines is adopted as the main one. The equation of the transfer function of the correcting link is determined, assuming an indirect measurement of the input resistance of the rail line, which is a function of the conductivity of the insulation. Results. The article presents the results of the research of the invariant capabilities of the disturbance compensation principle. It is shown that disturbances compensation with a corrective link included at the input of a quadripole allows one to significantly reduce the dynamic range of the output informative signal change in each of the classes, i.e. classes have become more compact, and the quality of classification has become 5 times higher than in the absence of compensation of disturbances. Discussion and Conclusion. The results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method for the coordinate compensation of disturbances in rail lines with an open circuit in the absence of the possibility for organizing feedback, a variable circuit in each of the classes of states, and the impossibility of creating a physical additional channel for the transmission of the disturbance. Using the proposed method in the construction of modern classifiers will significantly improve the stability of the functioning of train control systems; eliminate errors of the first kind, leading to unproductive idle train, and errors of the second kind, leading to accidents and crashes.

There was performed the study of the characteristics of the regulation of vertical posture in 42 children of 8-10 years old using school bags of different designs. According to medical examination 25 children have normal posture and 17 children had kyphotic one. The stability of the posture was estimated according to the average variance and the average velocity of the total center of gravity of the body, the area of the ellipse, and the quality of the equilibrium function with computer stabilography. Three models of school bags were used - with traditional, ergonomic and orthopedic back support. Vertical posture stability for children with impaired posture without school bag and when used with traditional and ergonomic back were significantly lower in comparison with children with normal posture. When the orthopedic back was used the stability impairment of the vertical posture in children with kyphotic posture was not observed. It is concluded that for the prevention of spinal deformity for students with kyphotic posture orthopedic school bags should be used.

The article considers the issues of assessing and improving the quality and reliability of culverts and the road drainage system on roads with unpaved and transitional types of pavement. The authors performed a number of field studies aimed at assessing the operational condition of culverts and pavement above them on roads of territorial significance in the Khabarovsk Territory. The issues of the influence of the quality of culverts on the condition of the road surface are examined in detail. Systematized and analyzed data on the influence of the presence (absence) of defects in the body of culverts on the quality of the road surface. The data are ranked by the diameter of the pipe hole and the size of the protective layer, and the degree of influence of the quality of the culvert on the quality of the road surface depending on the thickness of the protective layer is determined. The relationship between defects in culverts and the quality of the road surface is established. Based on the result of mathematical modeling, a nomogram of the dependence of the state of the coating over the culvert on the thickness of the backfill over the pipe and the condition of the culvert is constructed. In a specialized software package, by the finite element method, an assessment of the stress-strain state and structural stability of the subgrade with a culvert under the influence of the normative static load on the structure is carried out. The results of mathematical modeling showed that there is a significant decrease in the stability of the structure, especially with low embankments. To increase the stability and reduce the deformation of the structure, the authors proposed a method of strengthening the embankment of the subgrade in places of the device, which on the basis of mathematical modeling showed its high efficiency.

The criteria of the coordinate measurements quality at pilot-experimental production based on contemporary methods of quality management system and traditional methods of the measurements quality in Metrology are considered. As an additional criterion for quality of measurements, their duration is proposed. Analyzing the problem of assessing the quality of measurements, the authors pay particular attention to the role of technological heredity in the analysis of the sources of uncertainty of coordinate measurements, including not only the process of manufacturing the part, but all stages of the development of design and technological documentation. Along with such criteria as the degree of confidence in the results of measurements; the accuracy, convergence, reproducibility and speed of the results must take into account the correctness of technical specification, and such characteristics of the shape of the geometric elements to be controlled, such as flatness, roundness, cylindrical. It is noted that one of the main methods to reduce the uncertainty of coordinate measurements is to reduce the uncertainty in the initial data and measurement conditions, as well as to increase the stability of the tasks due to the reasonable choice of the basic geometric elements (measuring bases) of the part. A prerequisite for obtaining reliable quality indicators is a quantitative assessment of the conditions and organization of the measurement process. To plan and normalize the time of measurements, the authors propose to use analytical formulas, on the basis of which it is possible to perform quantitative analysis and optimization of quality indicators, including the speed of measurements.
