ABSTRACT Disruption is an innovation. This is an innovation that will replace the entire old system with new ways. Disruption has the potential to replace old players with new ones. Disruption replaces old technology with digital technology that produces something completely new and more efficient and more useful. Whereas in the Industrial 4.0 era, machines and factories will be connected, exchange data, work together, and make independent decisions collectively. The Industrial Age 4.0 offers time and resource efficiency, cost savings, increased income, agility, and innovation for the industry. The old industry or incumbent will be replaced by a more efficient new-style industry. Therefore this disruption must be anticipated so that we can see new opportunities in the future. In the context of education—especially high education— as a printer of skilled human resources—must be prepared with 4 C skills (creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration) must be thoroughly prepared because in this sophisticated era humans will co-exist with smart machines at workplace. Education must change, if not, then in 30 years we will face a big problem. Everything we teach should be different from machines — everything that is taught must make humans different from machines. Humans as products of education, must still have ethics/morals—because religion is truly a source of value/ethics—which must be implemented through education (Islam) in this disruption era.

People's dependence on digital technology has increased rapidly since the global Covid-19 pandemic. This causes the world's need for digital products and human resources to make digital products higher. Informatics Engineering Program is one of the providers of human resources who are proficient in the field of information technology. One of the basic skills that must be possessed to create digital products is programming or coding skills. The more skilled a person is at typing and understanding coding, the more complex the digital products he can create. This is why the coding ability of students in the Informatics Engineering Program must be improved. This website-based coding training program aims to improve the coding skills of Informatics Engineering students with interesting and fun gamification methods. Gamification methodology will greatly benefit student of Informatics Engineering Program in Riau University to improve his or her coding skill without consuming too much time and energy.

Recruitment plays a central role during digital transformation because companies in many industries need to hire employees who possess IT-related knowledge, skills and abilities to digitalise their products, services and processes. However, extant research so far mainly has focussed on the use of digital technology in recruiting processes and its outcomes, whereas strategic aspects have received little attention. Based on 26 interviews with recruiters in 22 organisations, this study examines the interplay between recruitment and digital transformation beyond the use of digital technology in recruitment, focussing on more strategic aspects. The study examines recruitment’s role in organisations’ digital transformation. We found that the recruitment of digital talent as a new target group triggers change within the company, and does so in three ways: First, recruiters have realised the necessity to adapt their measures and processes to the new target group. Second, recruiters have developed a new self-understanding. Third, recruiters have recognised the need to support the organisation’s digital transformation by taking on a bridging function. Our study makes two contributions: First, we identified two new roles for recruitment during digital transformation: It acts as a ‘sensory organ’ that enhances the organisation’s absorptive capacity; and it takes on the role of a ‘mediator’ between external and internal groups. Second, this study builds on the human resources (HR) literature by analysing the strategic implications that digital transformation imposes on recruitment, highlighting recruitment’s part in renewing an organisation’s human resource base, which is crucial for its digital transformation.

This article describes and evaluates cash-for-care programmes for older people in four European countries, namely Home-Care Grants in Ireland, Direct Payments in the United Kingdom (England), Service Vouchers in Finland and Personal Budgets in The Netherlands. The purpose is to raise understanding of the background and reasons for the introduction of cash-for-care programmes and their impact on the countries' care regimes. It is argued that while the motives for introducing cash-for-care programmes in the four countries are similar, namely to promote choice and autonomy, to plug gaps in existing provision, to create jobs, and to promote efficiency, cost savings and domiciliary care, the relative importance of these goals varies. Current cash-for-care programmes have comparatively modest coverage as compared with direct service provision and provide no more than an optional, supplementary source of care in three of the studied countries. Cash-for-care schemes have not radically transformed the care regimes in Finland, The Netherlands or the United Kingdom. In Ireland, however, the restricted availability of alternative forms of formal service provision means that the expansion of cash-for-care might shift care provision significantly towards private provision and financing.

Major changes in community’s activities take place from the real world to virtual activities. One of the urgent needs in inclusive and sustainable agribusiness development is agricultural human resources able to anticipate changes and successfully adapt to those changes. This paper aims to explore changes in the agribusiness order, challenges in the extension system and agricultural human resource development going forward.  Scientific review analysis shows that there are physical business cost savings, open and direct new markets, development of internet-based online shop services with smarter, easier, faster, more efficient, and more accurate transaction processes. The agribusiness system requires a new management system with more competitive human resources capacity. Three instruments for developing agricultural human resources are: (1) prioritizing skill improvement and providing infrastructure for information and communication technology (ICT), (2) capability of extension workers and researchers in creating, socializing and implementing inclusive technology with digital literacy, (3) training the farmers with ICT-based production skills, building partnerships, and accessing big data and information in accordance with their current. Accelerating instrument operations needs champions or youth driving agent.</p>

Product platform design plays a vital role in determining two important aspects of a products family: efficiency (cost savings due to commonality) and effectiveness (capability to satisfy performance requirements). In this work, sensitivity analysis and cluster analysis are used to improve both efficiency and effectiveness of a product family design. A strategy of commonization is employed to form a platform. An illustrative example is used to demonstrate the merits of the proposed method, and the results are compared with existing results from the literature.
