AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa masih rendah dan masih banyak yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah disertai teknik berikan uangnya lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Padang. Jenis penelitan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan random terhadap subjek. Terpilih kelas VIII 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes akhir berbentuk esai dengan reliabilitas tes adalah〖 r〗_11=0,7062. Statistik uji yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis adalah uji t satu pihak. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh t_hitung=1,78 dan t_tabel=1,67 dengan α=0,05, maka t_hitung>t_tabel dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah disertai teknik berikan uangnya lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Padang.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Matematika, Model Pembelajaran Berbais Masalah, Teknik Berikan Uangnya.AbstractThe background of this research by outcomes of student study still low and still many students of yet reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The purpose of this research to know what the outcomes of study mathematics students with apply the problem based learning model with techniques give the money better than aplly the conventional learning of study at eighth grade in SMPN 16 Padang. The kind of this research is experimental research with design is random by the subject. Selected class VIII 6 as experimental class and VIII 5 as control class. The instruments of this research is test like essay with use reliability r_11= 0,7062. Statistic test used for hypothesis testing is t-test of the parties. Hypothesis test result obtain t_count= 1,78 and t_table= 1,67 with α=0,05, then t_count > t_table so the hypothesis of this research is accepted. So, it can conclude that result of study in mathematics with apply the problem based learning model with techniques give the money better than aplly the conventional learning of study at eighth grade in SMPN 16 Padang.Keyword: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning Model, Techniques Give The Money.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning models towards the mathematics learning outcomes of 6th-grade students of an Elementary School accredited B in Kendari City. This study is quantitative experimental research. The population in this were all 6th-grade students of an Elementary School accredited B in Kendari City. The technique of determining the sample was done by cluster random sampling. Data analysis used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics where the hypothesis test used is the t-test. The results showed the effect of problem-based learning models better than direct instruction and problem-based learning model positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes of 6th-grade students of an Elementary School Accredited B in Kendari City.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran Discovery Learning di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Dicovery Learning, sedangkan variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan yang terdiri dari 8 kelas, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-G (kelas eksperimen I) sebanyak 31 orang dan kelas VIII-H (kelas eksperimen II) sebanyak 31 orang. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes dan lembar observasi. Sebelum pengujian hipotesis terlebih dahulu diuji normalitas data dengan menggunakan uji Liliefors dan homogenitas data menggunakan uji F. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa hasil pretest kedua sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen, dengan demikian penulis bisa memberikan perlakuan kepada kedua sampel. Dari hasil analisis data pretest-posttes dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 1,955 > 1,677sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran Discovery Learning di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Kata kunci : Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, , model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning.AbstractThis study aims to determine the problem solving ability of mathematics students using Problem Based Learning model of learning is better than the model of learning Discovery Learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest Control Group Design design. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables, namely the use of Problem Based Learning and Dicovery Learning, while the dependent variable is the students' math problem solving abilities. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan consisting of 8 classes, while the sample in this study were students of class VIII-G (experiment class I) as many as 31 people and class VIII-H (Experiment class II) as many as 31 people. Research instruments in data collection are test and observation sheet. Before testing the hypothesis first tested the normality of data by using Liliefors test and homogeneity of data using F test. From the test it was obtained that the pretest results of both samples distributed normal and homogeneous, thus the authors can provide treatment to both samples. From result of analysis of pretest-posttes data by using t-test at α = 0,05 obtained t count> ttable that is 1,955> 1,677 so that H0 refused and Ha accepted. Then it can be concluded that the problem solving ability of mathematics students using Problem Based Learning model is better than Discovery Learning model in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Keywords: Problem solving abilities, Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning   model

The study aims at examining (1) the effectiveness of the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using Open Ended approach, (2) the students’ learning result in mathematics who were taught by using PBL model with Open Ended approach, (3) the students’ activities in teaching and learning process by using PBL model with Open Ended approach, and (4) the students’ response on learning. The study is pre-experiment research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The populations of the study were class VIII students at SMPN 33 Makassar of academic year 2016/2017 wich consisted of 10 classes. Samples were selected by employing Cluster Random Sampling technique and obtained class VIIIE as the research sample. Data were obtained by using learning result test instrument, observation sheet of students’ activities, observation sheet of learning implementation, and questionnaire of students’ response. The results of the study reveal that the learning result score of class VIII students in mathematics I sin high category, the mean 83.22, and deviation standar 8.549, the classical completeness is 87.50%, the mean of normalized gain is in high category, the students’ activity is in very active category, and students’ response on the implementation of PBL model with Open Ended approach is positive. The result of hypothesis test indicates that PBL model with Open Ended approach is effective to implemented in Mathematics learning to class VIII students at SMPN 33 Makassar.

The learning independence of students is still low as the background of the implementation of this research. The purpose of this research is to describe the independence of students using Lesson study and Problem Based Learning models in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII of Junior High School Pertiwi 2 Padang in 2019/2020. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and determined class VIII-2. The research instruments were the learning independence questionnaire and the Lesson Study observation sheet. Analysis of learning independence data is described based on the results of the pretest and protest scores. The Lesson Study was carried out in 4 rounds using the Problem Based Learning model which included Plan, do, and See activities. The results showed that there was an increase in students' learning independence through the implementation of Lesson study with the Problem Based Learning model.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil nilai LKPD menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 89,63 dan rata-rata nilai tes yaitu 84,56.Kata Kunci : Deskriptif, Hasil Belajar Belajar, Problem Based LearningABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to describe the results of learning mathematics students VIII grade SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This article aims to determine the differences in the results of learning mathematics by using the appropriate learning model in the application of cooperative learning model Number Head Type Togeteher (NHT) and Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) on the subject of Circles at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan, Kampar District. In this research the problem statement is "Are there differences in learning outcomes of mathematics using Cooperative learning models Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types in class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan Kampar District on the subject of Circles?" This article uses comparative research which found a difference between the use of Cooperative learning models Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types, in this study the researchers played a direct role as teachers in the learning process. In this study Cooperative Learning NHT type is X1 and STAD type is X2 variable and learning result is Y variable. The population of this study is all Muhammadiyah MTS students and the sample used is VIIIA class as a class using Cooperative Learning Type Number Head Together (NHT) and class VIIIB as a class that uses Student Team Achievement Divison (STAD) Type Learning Model. The research subjects were eighth grade eighth grade students and the object was learning outcomes using the cooperative learning type NHT model and learning outcomes using the STAD learning model. The data collection technique is in the form of observation, documentation and tests conducted at the sixth meeting after the learning meeting is complete. This data is processed using the test-t formula and obtained a t value of 4.115 with a significant value of 2.69 where the significant value obtained from the calculation is greater than the significance level α = 0.05, then Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that there were differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the Cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) and Student Achievement Division (STAD) types on the subject of the Circle at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan Kampar Distric

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in maths learning achievement between classes taught by cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type and class taught by cooperative learning type Numbered Head Together (NHT) in material sistim coordinat cartesius class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kediri 2018/2019 school year. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques with instruments in the form of learning achievement test, learning implementation observasion sheets and learning implementation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. Hypothesis test of students' final ability (posstest) with t-test of two parties at a significance level of 5% resulted in tcount <ttable namely 0,020 < 2.030 which means that there were nothing differences in mathematics learning achievement between classes taught by cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division ( STAD) and classes taught by the cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) in material sistim coordinat cartesius class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kediri academic year 2018/2019.

The purpose of the use of problem-based learning model with the scientific approach is to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses a class action research design. The subject of this research is all class VIII-C SMP Wahid Hasyim Karanggeneng Methods of data collection is done by observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the management of teachers in this study increased in every meeting with both, as well as student activity also increased good. The use of problem-based learning model with this scientific approach can help to improve student learning outcomes. And students responded positively to the use of problem-based learning model with this scientific approach.Keywords: problem-based learning, scientific approach, learning outcomes

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to know the understanding of mathematical concepts of students with the use of conceptual attainment model is better than the understanding of students' mathematical concepts with conventional learning. This research is quasi experimental research. The research design used was randomized subjects posttest only control group design. By selecting a Class VIII-2 sample as an experimental class and class VIII-1 as a control class of analytical techniques using the t-test as a hypothesis test, the prerequisite test is a normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the hypothesis test, t-test, obtained the price tarithmetic = 3.073 and price ttable = -1.997 at the real level of 0.05. Because tarithmetic > ttable, so Ha accepted and H0 rejected. So it can be concluded that the ability to understand the concept of mathematics students using conceptual learning model attainment better than the ability to understand the concept of mathematics students using conventional learning model.Keywords: Concept Attainment, Understanding of Concept

  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the problem based learning model of learning on students' ability to solve science problems at SMPN 1 Siman Ponorogo. That is because PBL learning models that take advantage of real-world (contextual) problems will provide opportunities for students to hone, grow, and improve their ability to solve science problems so that they can be applied in dealing with problems in daily life. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research method is quasi experimental design and the type of research used is experimental research with a non-equivalent group design experimental design. Data collection was performed using posttest questions which were then analyzed using inferential statistical data analysis techniques. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Siman. The sample in this study was class VIII A as an experimental class and Class VIII B as a control class. From the study obtained post test results which showed that the class with a problem based learning model through a contextual approach had a higher average value when compared to the class using conventional methods, namely 84.54 and 50.45. Hypothesis test results obtained tcount> ttable is 11.747> 1.681, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. From these calculations it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Problem Based Learning model through a contextual approach to the ability to solve science problems of Grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Siman Ponorogo.
