The main problem of this study was Is it effective to teach Passive Voice by using semantic map to the eleventh grade students of state Senior High School 9 Palembang. The method of this study was preexperimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The data were collected through two kinds of test, pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by using the matched t-test. Based on the result of the data analysis, the students average score in the pre-test was 51,63, and the average score in the post-test was 63,68. The t-table of 5 % significance level was 1.684. It could be concluded the value of tobtained (7,21) was higher than the value of t-table (1.684). It means that Ho was rejected, and consequently Ha was accepted.

This research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the results differences of the 2nd National Chemistry Olympiad at the public and private senior high school using quizizz media. All participants of the population were sampled in the determination, the sampling technique used was saturated samples. The results of the prerequisite test on the data from this study showed that the data were normally and homogeneous. For normality and homogeneity tests, obtained sig > 0.05. Data analysis using SPSS 24, carried out One Way Anova test, obtained sig.0.01 with a significance level of 5%, these results indicate that there are differences in the results of the 2nd National Chemistry Olympiad (OKN) level is low, the public high school participants results with an average score of 59.48 and private high schools with an average score of 41.95 by utilizing Quizizz media. The main problem of this study was "Is it effective to teach writing through the process-genre method to the tenth-grade students of Islamic Senior High School NU Yosowinangun?". The objective of this study is to find out whether the process-genre method was effective to teach writing to the tenth-grade students of Islamic Senior High School NU Yosowinangun, writing ability of descriptive text. This research used a quantitative research method using the pre-experimental method. The population of the study was all the tenth-grade students of Islamic Senior High School NU Yosowinangun in the academic 2019/2020, with 106 students. The sample was 20 students taken by using one-stage cluster random sampling. The data were analyzed through the matched t-test formula to find out the effectiveness of teaching writing through the process-genre method. The technique for collecting data used a written test twice in the pre-test and post-test. Based on the result of the data analysis, it was found that the highest score in the pre-test was 69 and the lowest score was 41, and the average score was 52.8. While in the post-test, the highest score was 85 and the lowest score was 70, where the average score was 79, it was found that the value of t-obt was 18.7, where the value of t-tab was 1.725, at significance level 0.05 or 95% with a degree of freedom. . It can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It indicated that teaching writing through the process-genre method to the tenth-grade students of Islamic Senior High School NU Yosowinangun was effective.

The researcher aims to find out the effectiveness using Treasure Hunt Game toward students’ vocabulary mastery with the research objectives: to find out the use of Treasure Hunt Gametowardthe first grade students’ vocabulary mastery at Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Palampang. This research was conducted at the class X MIA 1 and X MIA 2. The sample of this research was 50 students from 280 populations. The controled class was took from class X MIA 1, while the experimental class was from X MIA 2. The number of the sample in each class was 25 students.Quasi experimental design was applied in this research with two group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument used to collect data was vocabulary test.Research findings showed that the experimental class got score on pre-test with the mean score 44,2. After giving treatment the students got change, they got score with the mean score 59,9. The result of the data analysis indicated that there was a change of the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught using Treasure Hunt Game. It was proved by the result of the statistical analysis of the level significance P = 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) = 48 indicated that the t-test values of the students’ vocabulary mastery (2,53) was higher than the t-table (2,01). Based on the result of analysis, the researcher concludes that using Treasure Hunt Game was effective toward the students’ vocabulary mastery at the first grade students of Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Palampang, because Treasure Hunt Game give a lot of fun, the students enjoy the learning without any preasure. Than, Treasure Hunt Game stimulates students engagement in learning process. If students enjoy the learning process, they were enthusiastic enough to involve and compete each other in learning process.Keywords: Treasure Hunt Game, Vocabulary mastery, First Grade Students

The use of videos in education makes it possible to overcome practical real-world constraints and explore far greater possibilities provided by digital spaces, especially for the video uploaded in online platform such as blog. This study examines whether online video blog as media have a significant effect on students’ achievement of passive voice. It used pre-experimental (one group pre-test and post-test) design. The samples of this study were 10 students at 4J Operation. A pre-test and post-test were conducted by using multiple choice questions as the instruments. Data analysis was through paired-sample t-test. Results showed that there was an increase in mean score of pre-test (49,1) and post-test (63,5). Data from Paired Sample t-test showed that Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 which was smaller than .05 which means that there was significance difference in mean score after employing treatment.

This research aims to improve senior high school students’ physics problem-solving skills through learning used IBMR learning model. This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified as moderate. The success of IBMR learning model-based devices in practicing problem-solving abilities can be seen in the increase in the average score in each indicator of problem-solving abilities. The indicator of understanding the problem had the highest post-test average score of 94.58 with an N-gain of 0.89 in the high category. The problem-solving indicator had the lowest posttest average score was 58.22 with N-gain 0.39 and mean that it was the moderate category. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the learning used by IBMR learning model can practice the ability to solve physics problems on heat material and its displacement. Learning with the IBMR learning model was expected to train students in solving physics problems. The stages in the IBMR learning model can help students

This research explored the use of the ICARE Model to studying the writing ability at the Senior high school in Parepare. ICARE includes five essential elements of a good learning experience, can be applied to children, teenagers, and parents, namely Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension. This research involved a population from Senior high school in Parepare in the academic year 2015/2016. The students consist of two classes, an experimental class, and a control class. Each class consists of 36 students. This research utilized a cluster random sampling technique to select the sample. The instrument used in this research is the writing test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The research reveals that there was a significant increase in students writing ability. This finding indicates that the mean score of the post-test of the experimental group is getting much better than the control class. It meant that using ICARE developed the students' ability in writing, and the writing component increased the highest is in the vocabulary aspect.

Beberapa masalah yang paling penting dalam tulisan siswa diidentifikasi seperti kesulitan mereka dalam mengungkapkan ide dan pemikiran dan dalam menghasilkan dan mengatur ide. Oleh karena itu, teknik Round Table diterapkan untuk mengaktifkan aktivitas siswa dalam bergantian, menanggapi dalam kelompok dan menulis ide mereka di atas kertas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan apakah atau tidak teknik Round Table memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa di SMA Negeri 12 Padang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 12 Padang, yang terdiri dari 222 siswa. Mereka dipilih secara acak untuk melayani sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Tes diberikan kepada kedua kelas dengan topik yang sama. Kemudian, post-test diberikan setelah menerapkan perawatan selama lima pertemuan untuk menentukan perbedaan menggunakan teknik Round Table.

<p><em>Writing is often considered as a complicated skill to master. In order to be able to write effectively, there are several aspects to consider, which often make students face some problems in composing a written text. Thus, the use of the appropriate instructional media is necessary to help students overcome those problems, and enhance their writing ability. This classroom action research aims to investigate the improvement of students’ writ</em><em>ing</em><em> skill</em><em> </em><em>through the use of animation movie as the instructional media. The participants of this research were two observers and </em><em>38</em><em> second grade senior high school</em><em> students</em><em>.</em><em> </em><em>This research used observation as the technique of collecting the qualitative data about the teaching and learning process, which then analyzed by using </em><em>thematic analysis. Meanwhile, writing tests were used to obtain the quantitative data about the students’ scores </em><em>o</em><em>n the test given at the end of the cycles. Descriptive statistics are used to analyse the quantitative data obtained in  this study. The research result showed that their average scores increased from the pre-test (75.68), to the post test in cycle 1 (78.71) and the post- test in cycle 2 (83.55). It indicated that their writing skill was also increased. Therefore, the use of animation movie in English class can improve the second grade senior high school students’ writing skill</em><em>.</em></p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk tingkat efektivitas penggunaan macromedia flash 8 terhadap hasil belajar materi penyakit menular seksual di SMA Negeri 1 Loa Kulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah posttest-only control design. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One way anova. Subyek uji coba diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Tempat penelitian dibatasi pada Sekolah Menengah Atas yang berada di SMAN 1 Loa Kulu dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh pada data uji normalitas yang didapat adalah nilai Sig. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Post Test A atau kelompok dengan menggunakan treatment = 0,087 dan Sig. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Post Test B atau kelompok tidak menggunakan treatment = 0,068 lebih besar dari taraf uji signifikan 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan pada uji homogenitas nilai Sig. Post Test A dan Post Test B diketahui sebesar 0,263. Maka dapat disimpulkan data homogenitas = 0,263 > 0,05 dan nilai post test A dan post test B memiliki varian yang sama dan homogen. Setelah melakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, langkah selanjutnya adalah uji-F dengan one way anova. Data yang diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 12,64 > 4,01. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa data ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Effectiveness of the use of macromedia flash 8 on learning outcomes of students of sexually transmitted diseases in Senior high school AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of macromedia flash 8 on the results of learning sexually transmitted diseases material at State Senior High School 1 Loa Kulu. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this study was posttest-only control design. The data analysis used in this study is One way ANOVA. The subjects of the trial were taken using purposive sampling. The research location is limited to senior high schools located at SMAN 1 Loa Kulu with a total of 60 students. The results of data analysis obtained on the normality test data obtained are the Sig. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Post Test A or group using treatment = 0.087 and Sig. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Post Test B or group not using treatment = 0.068 greater than the significant test level of 0.05. Then it can be concluded that the value is normally distributed. While the test homogeneity of the Sig. Post Test A and Post Test B are known to be 0.263. Then it can be concluded that homogeneity data = 0.263> 0.05 and the post test A and post test B values have the same and homogeneous variants. After conducting the normality and homogeneity test, the next step is the F-way test with one way ANOVA. Data obtained by Fcount> Ftable is 12.64> 4.01. Then it can be concluded that the data have significant differences.

This type of research is a pre-experimental research in the form of One Group PreTest Post Test Design which is an experiment in which implementation only involves one class as an experimental class that aims to determine the effect of the use of outdoor study methods by utilizing the environment as a learning resource for learning outcomes of science in class students IV SD Inpres Bontomanai, Tamalate District, Makassar City. The subjects of the study population were Grade IV students of SD Inpres Bontomanai consisting of 2 classes with randomly selected samples (random classes) so that Class IV A. . Whereas the posttest obtained an average score of 66.94. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test it is known that the tcount obtained was 4.41. Degrees of freedom (d.b) = 20-1 = 19 with a significance level of 0.05 obtained ttable = 2.09. So, tcount> ttable or 4.41> 2.09, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the use of outdoor study methods by utilizing the environment as a learning resource affects the learning outcomes of science in class IV A students of SD Inpres Bontomanai, Tamalate District, Makassar City.
