Mental disorders are abnormal conditions that are either physical or mental. Out of these neuropsychiatric conditions are recorded patients with different nursing issues, one of which is violent behavior. Aggression is a form of behavior that is intended to harm someone physically and mentally to violent behavior patients. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is one of the therapies to address the problem of aggression in patients at risk for violent behavior, where EFT helps balance the energy in the body causing emotional disturbance. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of EFT on the aggressiveness of patients' risk of violent behavior at West Java Provincial Hospital. The type of research used is pre-experiment with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample size was 19 with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection for aggression level using the Aggression Questionnaire, whereas for EFT implementation using EFT therapy implementation guide. EFT is performed for 5 days, 1 day for 7 minutes. Data were analyzed using the Paired T-test. The results showed that aggressiveness before EFT was nearly complete (89.5%) of high-risk patients with high levels of aggression, whereas aggressive levels after partial EFT (52.6%) of high-risk violence patients had high levels of aggression. The results showed p-value = 0.000 and it was concluded that there is an influence of the Emotional Freedom Technique on the level of aggression of patients at risk of violent behavior. Based on the results of this research it is recommended that the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can be an alternative therapy in helping to deal with issues of aggression.

Abstract Fetomaternal hemorrhage (FMH) is a common obstetrical occurrence most often associated with small volumes of blood transferred across the placenta. Fetomaternal hemorrhage leads to alloimmunization of Rh D-negative mothers, resulting in an increased risk of hemolytic disease of the newborn. Massive FMH involving volumes of blood greater than 30 mL can cause substantial fetal morbidity and mortality. Massive FMH may present with signs and symptoms such as decreased movement, sinusoidal heart rhythms, or fetal anomalies. We present 3 cases of clinically unexpected massive FMH of 206, 88, and 155 mL. The treating clinicians were unaware of any fetal or maternal signs or symptoms of FMH until contacted by the laboratory. These cases illustrate the necessity for FMH quantitation, even in the absence of clinical suspicion. Additional studies are needed to find better ways to identify these patients in advance. Development of criteria allowing identification of patients at risk would be of benefit to both mother and baby.

ABSTRACTFrequency of pediatric WE is estimated to be similar to WE in adults, although it is an underdiagnosed condition. In our reports, the nutritional deficit (caused by persistent vomiting and prolonged partial parenteral feeding) triggered signs and symptoms of WE. Therefore, pediatric WE should be considered as a differential diagnosis in all patients at risk for nutritional deficiency, increasing clinical suspicion and early treatment.

Qualitative research in the health sciences has had to overcome many prejudices and a number of misunderstandings, but today qualitative research is as acceptable as quantitative research designs and is widely funded and published. Writing the proposal of a qualitative study, however, can be a challenging feat, due to the emergent nature of the qualitative research design and the description of the methodology as a process. Even today, many sub-standard proposals at post-graduate evaluation committees and application proposals to be considered for funding are still seen. This problem has led the researcher to develop a framework to guide the qualitative researcher in writing the proposal of a qualitative study based on the following research questions: (i) What is the process of writing a qualitative research proposal? and (ii) What does the structure and layout of a qualitative proposal look like? The purpose of this article is to discuss the process of writing the qualitative research proposal, as well as describe the structure and layout of a qualitative research proposal. The process of writing a qualitative research proposal is discussed with regards to the most important questions that need to be answered in your research proposal with consideration of the guidelines of being practical, being persuasive, making broader links, aiming for crystal clarity and planning before you write. While the structure of the qualitative research proposal is discussed with regards to the key sections of the proposal, namely the cover page, abstract, introduction, review of the literature, research problem and research questions, research purpose and objectives, research paradigm, research design, research method, ethical considerations, dissemination plan, budget and appendices.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Team Assisted Individually (TAI) learning model through crossword puzzles on student learning interests. This study uses a quantitative research approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The sample used was VA class students totaling 37 students as the experimental class and VB class totaling 38 students as the control class at SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang City. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test with the help of the SPSS 16.0 program for windows, the ttable value was 1.666 and the tcount was 16.136. Sig value (2-tailed) of 0,000. Because the value of tcount > ttable (16,136 > 1,666) and significant 0,000 < 0,05, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so it is concluded that there is a significant effect of the Team Assisted Individually (TAI) learning model through crossword puzzle on the learning interest of students in class V SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang City.

Hypokalemia is an electrolyte imbalance that can have serious effects on the patient if not detected early. Therefore, it is important for the nurse to: (1) be aware of those patients at risk for excess potassium loss, (2) monitor those patients' ECG to observe for any changes indicative of hypokalemia, and (3) assess for physical signs and symptoms indicative of hypokalemia. Early detection of hypokalemia and early intervention will prevent potential catastrophic events.
