Adolescents are an age group between 10 and 19 years old, which is the transition period from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence is the capital of the nation's future development, so it must prepare to achieve its goals by planning a family life. However, there are still many teenagers who behave unhealthily, the percentage of young marriages and divorce rates is relatively high. Family life planning for an adolescent is urgently needed to prepare for future family life. The purpose of this research is to examine factors that affect family life planning in students. The research uses analytical survey methods with a cross-sectional approach. The study subjects were new students of Health Polytechnic of Jakarta 3 with a sample of 81 respondents taken using simple random sampling techniques. The results showed a relation between adolescent knowledge (p-value 0.000) and information sources (p-value 0.043) and attitudes towards family life planning. In contrast, maternal education (p-value 0.096) and family economy level (p-value 0.654) were not related to adolescent attitudes. This study concludes a significant relationship between knowledge and resources and attitudes towards family life planning for adolescents. To related parties such as schools, social institutions in the community, and health workers are expected to provide information about Family Life Planning for Adolescents more intensively.

Family planning aims at reducing maternal mortality rates and reducing population growth rate with the main target of couples of childbearing age. One of the family planning options offered is long-term reversible contraceptive method (MKJP). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with interest in using MKJP in the work area of Camplong health center, Fatuleu sub-district, Kupang regency in 2018. The research was quantitive study with cross-sectional approach. The sample of 77 people was selected using simple random sampling. The instrument uses was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques consisted of descriptive and bivariate analysis (chi-square test) with α= 0,05. The study indicated that knowledge (p-value= 0,09) and the role of health workers (p-value =0,001) were associated with the use of the MKJP while attitude (p-value = 0,765) and husband support (p-value = 0,131) had no relationship with MKJP. Health center needs to regularly provide information to the community about the advantages of MKJP especially for couples of childbearing age who have already had more than three children.

The prevalence of stunting in five-year-old infants in Indonesia in 2018 it is 30.8% while in two-year babies it is 29.9% which consists of 12.8% very short and 17.1% short. Stunting can be caused by a variety of factors, such as the implementation of initiation of early breastfeeding which is not appropriate and the provision of breast milk is not exclusive. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between early breastfeeding initiation and exclusive breastfeeding with stunting in two-year-old infants aged 7-24 months in the work area of Pantoloan Health Center. This type of research is an analytical survey with design cross sectional. The sample in this study were two-year-old infants aged 7-24 months totaling 57 samples with sampling techniques namely simple random sampling and data analysis using Chi Square. The results showed that respondents who experienced stunting were 36.8% and not stunting 63.2%. Respondents who had early breastfeeding initiation tended not to experience stunting (79.2%), while respondents who received exclusive breastfeeding tended not to experience stunting (81.0%). The results of the statistical test showed a significant relationship between early breastfeeding initiation and exclusive breastfeeding with stunting with the same p-value of 0.033 (α <0.05). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between early breastfeeding initiation and exclusive breastfeeding with stunting. Suggestions for researchers for health workers to promote and implement early breastfeeding initiatives and exclusive breastfeeding for mothers to prevent and minimize the incidence of stunting in children in the future.

Family Planning is the most basic and primary preventive health service effort. One of the acceptable contraceptives in Indonesia is the Contraceptive Intra Uteri Device (IUD), which is the most effective, safe and comfortable contraception for many women. Use of contraception is still dominated by short-term contraceptives, especially injections which reach 31.2% and pills 13.4%. While the level of use of the Long-Term Contraception method, the IUD reaches 4.8%. In 2013, based on the results of the KB prevalence survey with MKJP of 64.6%. Overall, there were still 16 provinces that reached the position of family planning prevalence with MKJP lower than the national figure (> 64.6%). This study aims to determine the relationship of maternal characteristics with the selection of contraceptives Intra Uteri Device (IUD) on family planning acceptors at the Kramatwatu Health Center in Serang, Banten. This quantitative study uses a cross sectional approach with 82  acceptor respondents and uses a check list instrument. The results of the research prove that with the results of statistically significant tests showing that there is a relationship between maternal age, maternal parity, maternal education and occupation with the selection of contraceptives intra uteri device on family planning acceptors with p-value 0.004 <0.05, p-value 0.007 <0 .05, p-value 0.006 <0.05 and p-value 0.007 <0.05. The conclusion in this study there is a relationship between maternal characteristics with the IUD selection so that health workers can optimize counseling about family planning, especially the use of intra uterine devices (IUD).
