This research was aimed; 1) to know the quality of islamic religious education at theSMK N 1 Wadaslintang, 2) to know the participation of school commitee in increasingthe quality of islamic religious education at the SMK N 1 Wadaslintang, 3) to know thesupport and handicap factors how did school commite in increasing the quality of islamicreligious at the SMK N 1 Wadaslintang. In this research, we used a qualitative research.Qualitative search is a research that aimed to understand a phenomenon about what’sfelt by research subject holisticly with the words or language. In the collecting data, weused the interview, participant observation and documentation study. And analizing data,we wear the interactive analisis that ie data collection, data reduction , data displayand verification. The result of research had showed taht 1) quality of islamic religiouseducation is so good, it showed by activity of dhuha worship and dhuhur done togetherlyand on Friday, they go to mosque to pray togetherly.2) role of the school commitee inincreasing quality of islamic religious education such as : as a advisory agency, asa supporting agency, as a controlling agency, and as a executive agency. 3) factor ofsupporting as below a good leadership, a good performance of teacher and participationof student\s adults and handicap factor were such as less of infrastructure and businessof school commitee.

Abstrak. Human resource development demands from time to time are increasing. Therefore education services must be able to keep up with these developments. Besides family and school, the community has its own role in education. The role of the community in madrasah education must be carried out jointly to improve the quality of education. So the role in education is not only educators but also the community must contribute to improving the quality of education for the betterment of the nation. Therefore, the community has an important role in achieving a quality education goal. Education as a process requires synergy between components and requires an understanding of the vision of all stakeholders involved. Support from the community is very necessary for the implementation of good education because of the community so that madrasas will become more qualified, because of the support from the community, of course the progress of the madrasa will be reaped through the future of children in the future by involving their role in improving the quality of education services which include planning, supervision and evaluation of education programs including the field of religious education. ABSTRACT.This study aims to explain the use of the PDCA approach in digital-based learning management in the Christian Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Christian Education, IAKN Manado. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The researcher acts as a key instrument, with data collection techniques including participant observation and interviews, data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model, through power reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) learning planning is carried out by making lesson plans, choosing digital learning media that is adjusted to the material and characteristics of learning, (2) the implementation of digital learning is carried out according to the plan, if there are problems, the lecturers make appropriate changes to overcome the problems, supported by competent lecturers always improve competence by participating in various seminars and trainings, as well as support from the institution in training remote training programs, (3) learning checks are carried out by paying attention to student attendance and assignments, monitoring and evaluation of learning will be carried out by the end of the semester by LPM, (4) in this cycle it is a continuation of the planning, implementation, and inspection cycle. If it is in accordance with the expected goals, then it is continued to improve the quality of learning, if not, it will be continued with changes or modifications of parameters and components in learning. Evaluate and adjust with appropriate methods and media to solve existing problems.

This article aims to describe the leadership strategies of village guardian at PandaiSikek village and society’s participation in achieving village achievement at national level in 2014. The approach from this research is descriptive with qualitative research type. Data collection was done through interview and documentation in the form of interview guides, cell phones, and notebooks. The informants of this research were village guardian, staffs of village guardian, jorong guardian, customary figures, chairman of KAN, chairman of Bamus, chairman of LPM, BundoKanduang, chairman of youth and society at PandaiSikek village. Next, the triangulation data sources is the valid testing technique of data and the last data analysis techniques which are used by using data collection, data reduction, presentation of data, and withdrawal of conclusions. The results of research indicate that the strategies which are used by village guardian of PandaiSikek village for the first is cooperating with the set and high institutions of village in making decisions by ways of deliberation and consensus; second, involving society in every activity by spreading the invitation formally; third, motivating society to improve the quality of human resources by conducting useful training; and fourth, improving communication among jorong society by creating events which can improve communication in society.Meanwhile,the society’s roles of PandaiSikek village in reaching village achievement are : first, participating in the development process by cooperating and working together; second, following village’s activities by attending known activities through formal invitation; third, taking part in the training which was held by becoming part of the training and fourth, establishing good communication among the society by following the events held by village. Nagari Berprestasi : Strategi Kepemimpinan Wali Nagari dan Peran Masyarakat di Nagari Pandai Sikek PUTRIA ANJELA[1] Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan FIS Universitas Negeri Padang Email: [email protected] Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepemimpinan Wali Nagari Nagari Pandai Sikek dan peran serta masyarakat dalam meraih nagari berprestasi di tingkat nasional tahun 2014.Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi melalui alat pengumpulan data berupa pedoman wawancara, handphone serta buku catatan. Kemudian Informan penelitiannya adalah Wali Nagari, Staf-Staf Wali Nagari, Wali Jorong, Tokoh Adat, Ketua KAN, Ketua Bamus, Ketua LPM, Bundo Kanduang, Ketua Pemuda dan Masyarakat Nagari Pandai Sikek. Selanjutnya teknik pengujian keabsahan data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber data dan yang terakhir teknik analisis data dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi-strategi yang digunakan oleh Wali Nagari Pandai Sikek yaitu pertama, bekerjasama dengan perangkat dan lembaga tinggi nagari dalam mengambil keputusan dengan cara musyawarah dan mufakat; kedua, melibatkan masyarakat dalam setiap kegiatan nagari dengan cara menyebarkan undangan secara resmi; ketiga, memotivasi masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM dengan cara mengadakan pelatihan-pelatihan yang bermanfaat; dankeempat, meningkatkan komunikasi antar masyarakat jorong dengan cara membuat acara yang dapat meningkatkan komunikasi masyarakat. Adapun peran serta masyarakat Nagari Pandai Sikek dalam meraih nagari berprestasi adalah: pertama, berpartisipasi dalam proses pembangunan dengan cara bekerjasama dan bergotong royong; kedua, mengikuti kegiatan-kegiatan Nagari dengan cara menghadiri kegiatan yang sudah diketahui melalui undangan resmi; ketiga,mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan yang diadakan dengan cara menjadi bagian dari pelatihan tersebut dan keempat, menjalin komunikasi yang baik sesame masyarakat dengan cara mengikuti acara-acara yang diadakan oleh nagari. The Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4) is a semi-official body or institution whose task is to assist the Ministry of Religion in improving the quality of marriage by developing a sakinah family movement and religious education in the family environment. The Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4) is one of the institutions that provide guidance and insight into marital issues to the public. By paying attention to the duties of the Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4), information on the role of the advisory body in contributing to marital matters will be obtained. As explained in Article 1 of the Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 stated that marriage is an inner bond between a man and a woman as a husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy family (eternal) based on the Godhead of God Almighty, so that the purpose of the law is not enough to just bond , but must include both. Therefore, marriage is carried out bysomeone who is old enough no matter the profession, ethnicity, wealth, place of residence and so on. Everyone who is going to get married doesn't all understand the nature of marriage and the purpose of marriage is to get true happiness in the household. Marriage is not just a gathering of two people on one roof then gets offspring, not for a while but for a lifetime. To realize a prosperous and peaceful society, it must begin with family coaching first. If all families who are members of the community are prosperous, then the community will be happy. The family is the smallest element of a society, while a family is formed through marriage. Marriage is a means to form a household as a bond that is recognized by the community where they live as a legitimate husband and wife.   Abstrak Badan Penasehat Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) merupakan badan atau lembaga semi resmi yang bertugas membantu Departemen Agama dalam meningkatkan mutu perkawinan dengan mengembangkan gerakan keluarga sakinah dan pendidikan agama di lingkungan keluarga. Badan Penasehat Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan  (BP4) ini adalah salah satu lembaga yang memberikan bimbingan dan penasihatan tentang masalah perkawinan kepada masyarakat. Dengan memperhatikan tugas-tugas Badan Penasehat Pembinaan dan Pelestarian Perkawinan (BP4) akan diperoleh keterangan seberapa besar peranan badan penasihat ini dalam ikut menangani masalah perkawinan. Sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam pasal 1 Undang-Undang Perkawinan No. 1 Tahun 1974 dinyatakan bahwa perkawinan adalah ikatan lahir batin diantara seorang pria dengan seorang wanita sebagai suami istri dengan tujuan membentuk keluarga (rumah tangga) yang bahagia, kekal berdasarkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, sehingga maksud dari UU tersebut tidaklah cukup hanya ikatan lahir/batin saja, akan tetapi harus mencakup kedua-duanya. Oleh sebab itu, Perkawinan dilaksanakan oleh seseorang yang sudah cukup umur tidak peduli profesi, suku bangsa, kekayaan, tempat tinggal dan lain sebagainya. Setiap orang yang akan melangsungkan perkawinan tidak semuanya dapat memahami hakikat perkawinan dan tujuan perkawinan yaitu mendapatkan kebahagiaan sejati dalam rumah tangga. Perkawinan bukan sekedar berkumpulnya dua orang manusia dalam satu atap kemudian mendapat keturunan, bukan pula untuk sementara waktu tapi untuk seumur hidup. Untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang sejahtera dan damai harus dimulai dari pembinaan keluarga terlebih dahulu. Jika semua keluarga yang merupakan anggota masyarakat sejahtera, maka akan sejahteralah masyarakat. Keluarga adalah unsur terkecil dari suatu masyarakat, sedangkan keluarga terbentuk harus melalui perkawinan. Perkawinan merupakan sarana untuk membentuk rumah tangga sebagai sebuah ikatan yang diakui oleh masyarakat di mana mereka tinggal sebagai suami istri yang sah. The article is devoted to the study of the quality management system of education in a modern school. In researching this direction, the author relies on the main characteristics of the quality that education must correspond to. Attention is focused on what should be the criteria in solving the problem of education quality. It is concluded that the teacher today has lost the role of a person transferring knowledge, who acts by authoritarian or totalitarian methods, trying to give as much factual information as possible. A teacher today is a mentor who guides and organises educational and upbringing work with students at school. Consequently, the quality of education is aimed at meeting the public demand for the formation of a personality that is ready to actively respond to permanent changes in the social environment and the challenges that education faces today.

International Journal of Contemporary Islamic Education volume 2 issue 1 offers six   articles covering topics of Islamic education studies. Various issues relating to Islamic education interestingly presented to contribute to the body of knowledge and practices. Academia and practitioners in Islamic education studies may gain insight from reading the articles.   The first article is titled “Active Learning Strategies Implementation in Arabic Teaching at Senior High School” written by Asmawati Asmawati, Asy’ari Asy’ari, and Malkan Malkan from Postgraduate studies Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palu. This paper discusses the implementation of  active learning strategy in Arabic teaching at a senior high school in Palu city. The second article is titled “ Teachers’ Strategy in Improving Students’ Learning Achievement  of Al-Qur’an and Hadits  at Madrasah Tsanawiyah” written by Mardiah Mardiah, Askar Askar, and Rustina Rustina.   The paper discussed the strategies of teachers of the Qur'an and hadith subjects in improving the learning achievement of students in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Khairaat Biromaru.  The third article is titled “Contribution of Islamic Education Values in Marriage Tradition of Banggai Ethnic, Indonesia” written by Oyan D. Taufik, Sagaf S. Pettalongi, and Sidik Sidik. The paper discusses  the contribution of Islamic education values in marriage according to the customs of the tribe in district of Banggai Bulagi. The fourth paper is tittled “The Role of Environment in Improving Learning Quality:  A Case Study of Al-Istiqamah Modern Islamic Boarding School” written by Rara Pratiwi, Kamaruddin Kamaruddin, and Adawiyah Adawiyah. The paper discusses the role of learning environment in improving the quality of learning students in modern boarding school Al-Istiqamah Ngatabaru. The fifth article is titled “Effectiveness the Use of Audio Visual Media in Teaching Islamic Religious Education” written by Winarto Winarto, Ahmad Syahid, and Fatimah Saguni. The paper discussed  the effectiveness of using audio visual as media in improving learning achievement of a Islamic Junior high school. The last paper  is title “The Role of Islamic Education Teachers Competency in Improving the Quality of Education” written by Zuhaeriah Zuhaeriah, Moh. Ali, and Yusra Yusra. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran objektif dan komprehensif tentang proses perekrutan pengawas pendidikan dan peran pengawas pendidikan, serta mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung peran pengawas untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan SMP di Kabupaten Bima Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Tahapan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dan analisis komponensial. Hasil penelitian menemukan: (1) proses perekrutan pengawas pendidikan belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah dan undang-undang. (2) pemantauan pelaksanaan program sekolah yang dilakukan pengawas pendidikan belum terlaksana dengan optimal. (3) supervisi yang dilakukan pengawas pendidikan belum terlaksana dengan optimal. (4) evaluasi program kerja sekolah yang dilakukan pengawas pendidikan sudah terlaksana dengan baik. (5) pembuatan laporan hasil pemantauan, supervisi, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan pengawas pendidikan terlaksana dengan baik. (6) Tindak lanjut yang dilakukan pengawas pendidikan belum optimal. Selanjutnya yang menjadi (7) faktor penghambat adalah: (a) letak geografis, (b) akses jalan, (c) fasilitas, (d) penguasaan teknologi, (e) sumber daya manusia; dan (8) faktor pendukung adalah: (a) dana operasional tambahan dari Pemerintah Daerah, (b) ketersediaan motor dinas, (d) pelatihan, (e) keterlibatan masyarakat, (f) tempat domisili pengawas pendidikan, (g) siswa, (h) semangat dalam diri pengawas pendidikan.Kata kunci: pengawas pendidikan, mutu pendidikan, Kabupaten BimaTHE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISOR IN IMPROVING EDUCATION QUALITY OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN BIMA, WEST NUSA TENGGARA PROVINCEAbstractThis study aims to analyze and obtain comprehensive and objective description of recruiting process of educational supervisor, the role of educational supervisor, also to know the obstacles and supporting factors of educational supervisor roles to improve the education quality of secondary schools in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a qualitative approach with case study method. The data were collected through interviews, observation and document study. The phase of data analysis used by interactive model and componential analysis. The results showed: 1) the recruitment process of educational supervisor in Bima was not based on goverment rules and law. 2) monitoring of scholl programmes implementation by educational supervisor ran less optimal. 3) supervising by educational supervisor ran less optimal. 4) evaluating of school programmes undertaken by educational supervisor has ran well. 5) reporting about the results of monitoring, supervising, and evaluating, was done well. 6) the follow up of the results of supervision was not optimal. 7) some obstacles factors are: a) geographical area, b) highway access, c) facilities, d) mastery of information and technology, e) human resources. Then, some supporting factors are: a) operational funds form local government, b) vehicle, c) coaching, d) the involvement of communities, e) educational supervisor domicile, e) students, f) spirit of the educational supervisor itself.Keywords: Educational supervisor, education quality, Bima

The lack of the role of the school committee in education makes it a school partner to improve its management. Because it is clear in Law number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System article 56 paragraph 3 that the school council approves in improving the quality of assistance by providing, directives and support for labor, facilities and infrastructure, and supervision of education at the education level. This paper is a literature study that uses documents related to schools and education suppliers as sources of data and analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Reconstruction of the management of the committee through improvements to the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the work program of the school committee and education unit. In addition, training and guidance for school committees also requires building good communication and cooperation between the school committee, the government and other parties. That way it is expected to increase the strategic role of schools in improving the quality of education.

<span><em>Islamic education has important role in the human life that based on Five </em><span><em>Basic of the State, because religion is motivation of life and the important </em><span><em>tool of development and self-control. Therefore, religion should be known, </em><span><em>understood, and practiced by humans in order to be fully human in life.</em><br /><span><em>Nowadays, learning of Islamic Education in the school is more focused on </em><span><em>formal and memorization (verbal) and theoretical things, not focused on the </em><span><em>purpose so forget about the ability to control themselves and how to build</em><br /><span><em>faith.
