The title of Community Service Activities is "Repair of Electrical Installations and Installation of Automatic Switches for Photo Control Light Sensors at the Riyadus Solihin Mosque, Kebon Duren Village RT 03 / RW 04 Kelurahan Kalimulya Cilodong District, Depok City." This activity is based on the aim of improving public facilities and infrastructure, in this case the Riyadus Solihin Mosque in the electricity sector to support religious activities carried out by the surrounding community. This activity will provide education to the surrounding community about the importance of maintaining the safety of lighting electrical installations and the use of energy-efficient lamps through repairing damaged electrical installations and installing energy-saving automatic switches. The expected results with the repair of electrical installations will contribute to the safety and tidiness of electrical installations with maintained continuity. In addition, this activity also carried out the installation of an automatic light switch that functions to turn on and turn off the lighting so that it will save electrical energy in an era where the economic needs of society are increasing today.

Subject Electricity sector development in Myanmar. Significance The Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE) may raise electricity tariffs to mitigate spiralling government subsidies exacerbated by growing electricity demand of 5-7% annually, reports citing the department’s permanent secretary said on April 7. The government is pushing electrification as Myanmar’s burgeoning economy diversifies. Impacts Electrification could aid Myanmar’s poverty reduction aims and its economic productivity. Energy-saving measures such as energy-efficient lighting and building designs are required. Off-grid electrification will utilise renewables. Higher business electricity tariffs would have inflationary effects and could see business closures.

The use of incandescent bulbs by the majority of building occupants in Nigeria has complemented high cost of electrical energy consumption and this has informed prevalence of different types of energy efficient lighting bulbs. The study, therefore, identified and examined types of lighting bulbs used, assessed the rate of use of energy efficient bulbs in selected residential buildings and examined factors influencing its use. The study was carried out in Ife Central Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. Residential settlements in core wards in the study area were considered and four wards in the core zone of the Local Government were randomly selected from the total of eleven while data collection was done with the use of primary and secondary data techniques. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 5% sample size from the entire population and systematic sampling procedure was further employed by selecting every 10th building in the direction of movement which indicated selection of 123 houses. A total of 123 structured questionnaires were administered on the respondents on issues associated with the use of lighting bulbs. Data collected were analysed by both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The study found that 90.53% and 72.63% of the respondents used incandescent and energy saving bulbs respectively; variation existed in the wattages of different brands of energy saving and non-energy saving bulbs used in the selected buildings: A major proportion of the respondents used an average number of 1-5 lighting bulbs in buildings and its spaces therein; while quality and cost-saving benefit, energy saving benefit and durability of bulb influenced the choice of fluorescent tubes, compact fluorescent bulbs and light emitting diodes with a mean score value of 2.20, 2.29 and 2.85 respectively. In view of the need to enhance visual performance and comfort of buildings and its occupants respectively, efforts must be made by government to ensure that consumers awareness and enlightenment be increased on the types of lighting bulbs to procure and there is also need to strengthen mechanisms through the importation and sales of energy efficient bulbs only so as to enhance its cost-saving and environment–related benefits amongst others.

The need for electrical energy is a basic requirement besides the need for food and clothing, electrical energy is absolutely needed by the community to support all their daily activities. The purpose of carrying out community service activities is to provide an alternative source of electrical energy by utilizing solar cell panels which can be felt by the public in the form of DC voltage and AC voltage through an inverter device. The method applied in this service activity is to set a plan in the form of a system work diagram and then carry out the service activities in accordance with the work plan that was made previously. The results obtained are the availability of lighting facilities and electrical energy to start the pump so that it can meet the lighting needs and water needs of the orphanage.

Energy saving training for housewives is the goal of this community partnership program. Themethod used is various types including discussion, counseling, training and mentoring. The stages ofimplementing this program start from pre-survey, formal surveys, community service activities,partner roles, monitoring, and program evaluation. The subjects in this PKM are the mothers of thevillage PKK panemon sugihwaras bojonegoro. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis. Based on theresearch of the community partnership program, it was found that the knowledge possessed aboutsaving energy was still in the medium category of 46%. This is due to the lack of knowledge ofhousewives related to energy saving and there has never been any socialization about this training.The knowledge gained in this PKM activity includes (1) knowledge of equipment that requireselectricity (2) knowledge of the function of household appliances that require electricity (3)knowledge of the use of electrical energy and knowledge of energy saving methods (4) knowledge ofhow to respond to hazards electricity and (5) knowledge of assistance to people who areelectrocuted. Therefore it can be concluded that the existence of energy saving training for motherspkk can help increase knowledge about energy-saving life in the household.

ABSTRACT        Electricity is an important part of human life. The need for electrical energy increases directly proportional to the increase in population growth. Manokwari Regency as the capital of West Papua province continues to carry out the construction of offices, housing and other public facilities from year to year that require electrical energy. Electrical installation demands professionalism and standards in accordance with the general electrical installation regulations (PUIL). This community service activity aims to train people who cannot continue their education to a higher level due to limited costs. Participants are trained to be able to carry out installation, repair installations, and open their own jobs. Community service activities are carried out in the form of training with the lecture method regarding the introduction of electrical installation tools and materials, installation practices and electrical installation wiring diagrams according to PUIL standards and direct practice in the laboratory of the Electrical engineering department of the Engineering Faculty, University of Papua. Kebutuhan energi listrik meningkat berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan pertumbuhan penduduk. Kabupaten Manokwari sebagai ibukota provinsi Papua Barat terus melaksanakan pembangunan perkantoran, perumahan dan fasilitas publik lainnya di dari tahun ke tahun yang membutuhkan energi listrik. Pemasangan instalasi listrik menuntut profesionalisme dan standar yang sesuai dengan peraturan umum instalasi listrik  (PUIL). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih masyarakat yang tidak bisa melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang lebih tinggi oleh karena keterbatasan biaya. Peserta dilatih  agar dapat melakukan pemasangan, perbaikan instalasi, dan membuka lapangan kerja sendiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan metode ceramah mengenai pengenalan alat dan bahan instalasi listrik, praktik pemasangan dan diagram pengawatan instalasi listrik sesuai standar PUIL serta praktik langsung di laboratorium jurusan teknik Elektro Fakultas teknik Universitas Papua. Abstract: This community service activity was carried out in RT 16 RW 6, Kembang KuningMulyo, Surabaya. This area is an urban village area with poor public facilities. The result of thesituation analysis in the area is that Balai RT 16 suffered some damage with conditions that wereunfit for use. One of them is that some of the room floors in Balai RT 16 are still in the form ofcracked and perforated cement floors. Then the solution offered based on priority problems andthe intensity of its use is the installation of advanced floor tiles in the inner room and terrace ofBalai RT 16. Implementation of floor tile installation is carried out by teams, RT managers, andresidents who have expertise in carpentry. Community service activities are fully supported by thecommunity as evidenced by the participation of residents in the installation of ceramics and theirunderstanding to help maintain the better condition of the Balai RT 16. Implementasi pemasangan ubin lantaidilakukan oleh tim, pengelola RT, dan warga yang memiliki keahlian dalam pertukangan.Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat didukung penuh oleh masyarakat yang dibuktikan denganpartisipasi warga dalam pemasangan keramik dan pemahaman mereka untuk membantu menjagakondisi Balai RT 16 yang lebih baik. Energy audit is an activity to identivy how muchenergy is used as well as the steps that are needed in order toconcerve energy on an energy user facility. PT. Daikin AirConditioning Makassar using air conditioning equipments thatuses electrical energy nearly 60%. This study aims to determinethe used of electrical energy and energy saving opportunities inPT. Daikin Air Conditioning Makassar. Reseacrh is started withprocessing of electrical equipment data for lighting, airconditioning and other electrical equipments data. Researchresult pointed that the used of electric energyin PT. Daiking AirConditioning Makassar is 111.3 kWh/m2 /year and still below thestandart of IKE and can be savingabout 44 kWH/month forlighting system. Recommendations are to perform load balancingeach phase, turn on the light and air condioning only whenneeded.

Abstrak — Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Petungsewu Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang sebagai Desa Mitra, dengan fokus pada pemberdayaan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dupa. Masalah yang dihadapi pengrajin dupa di desa Mitra adalah masih menghasilkan dupa mentah, kesulitan pemasaran sehingga pendapatan usaha masih rendah. Tujuan program adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat pengrajin dupa melalui diversifikasi produk yaitu menghasilkan produk dupa wangi kemasan, dan penerapan strategi pemasaran produk dengan pola kemitraan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi dupa wangi kemasan, penciptaan merek dagang, dan merintis kemitraan dengan pelaku usaha dupa yang sudah berhasil. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari pengembangan hasil produksi atau diversifikasi produk, sehingga tidak hanya memproduksi dupa setengah jadi, tetapi mampu menghasilkan produk jadi dikemas dan siap dijual. Pola kemitraan yang dilakukan dengan cara perdagangan umum dalam bentuk kerjasama pemasaran, produk dari pengrajin dupa dari desa mitra disetorkan kepada pelaku usaha mitra untuk dijual. Hasil kegiatan pengrajin dupa sudah mampu menghasilkan dupa wangi kemasan dengan merk Gunung Katu sebagai produk unggulan, produk dupa wangi Gunung Katu mulai dikenal pasar, dan memperoleh nilai tambah usaha berupa peningkatan pendapatan.Abstract — Community service activities are carried out in Petungsewu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency as Mitra Village, with a focus on empowering incense micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The problem faced by incense craftsmen in Mitra village is that it still produces raw incense, marketing difficulties so that business income is still low. The aim of the program is to increase the income of the community of incense craftsmen through product diversification, namely producing fragrant incense packaging products, and implementing a product marketing strategy with a partnership pattern. The method applied is training and mentoring the production of fragrant incense packaging, creating trademarks, and initiating partnerships with successful incense businesses. Training and assistance are carried out as part of the development of production or product diversification, so that not only producing semi-finished incense, but able to produce finished products that are packaged and ready for sale. The partnership pattern is carried out by means of general trading in the form of marketing cooperation, products from incense craftsmen from partner villages are deposited to partner business actors for sale. Smoked fish processing business in Wab Village still used traditional methods (fumigation open) and are household enterprises (micro-scale enterprises) can be seen from the aspect of production and management aspects. Two aspects of this raise the priority issues faced by partners namely: how the fish correct fumigation techniques? What forms fumigation appropriate tool? How to manage capital and production business properly? How do I do the recording business activities in the notebook business correctly? And how to sell or market products correctly? Through methods of participatory rural appraisal, fisheries extension method, and the method pretest-posttest control group design, the implementation of community service activities carried out as a priority the settlement solution problem by doing: 1) Initial extension of community service activities; 2) Extension of heat curing, heat curing tool making appropriate, and the use of heat curing; 3) Counseling on capital management and production; 4) Extension of book production business records; and 5) Counseling about pricing, promotion, and strategy for dealing with the business of competition. So the outcome reached was contained fish products and marine worms (increasingly) the smoke as much as 25 / week; there are two tools used fumigation partners; there were five notebooks submitted to partners and capable of recording the three notebooks (book purchases, sales, and profit/loss); and 50 fish and marine worms (increasingly) smoke marketed in Wab Village.

The specific objectives and targets of these community service activities are to provide counseling on the rejuvenation of oil palm and the legality of farmers' land so that there is a change in the knowledge, understanding and skills of farmers who are members of farmer groups in an effort to want to rejuvenate oil palm plants and to provide an understanding of the importance of legality Farmer's land as an inseparable part of the structure of the requirements in order to get financial assistance to rejuvenate oil palm plants. The methods used are counseling, outreach, demonstration and assistance when the extension activities take place. Counseling methods provide counseling and conduct training after counseling. The demonstration method is carried out at the time of delivery of material. Farmers immediately practiced how to rejuvenate oil palm plants, after that they were given counseling about the ways and functions of farmers' land legality and farmer group institutions in order to get funds in groups. The assistance method aims to monitor developments after counseling to farmers by involving agents of change, namely community leaders, traditional leaders, the village government and banking institutions. In general, the implementation of community service in Kerta Jaya and Tassel Jaya villages, Kempas Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency can run well and well..
