The aim of the research is to find out children�s character development through interpersonal communication and parents� role model in Islamic Elementary School Al-Achfas Dwi Matra South Jakarta. This research is conducted by using Descriptive method. The data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation, and then it is analyzed descriptively by several steps such as data reduction, data presentation and deduction. Parents with good interpersonal communication are the source of children�s physical and spiritual health. Therefore, a child who is educated communicatively with good role model will grow as a mature human being who is physically and spiritually healthy. A good role model is an effective method to teach moral values to children due to their character as imitators. The result of this research shows that parents in Islamic Elementary School Al-Achfas Dwi Matra Jakarta are able to provide interpersonal communication and good role model in children�s character development.

Tourism is known as a borderless sector or has no separating boundaries. It is important to facilitate accessibility for tourist with disability, so the development of a destination will increase as it can be enjoyed by anyone. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Then the data are analyzed by qualitative descriptive technique include: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results revealed that the needs of tourists with visual impairment include: guide tiles, tacticle map, signs, showroom lighting, audio availability, Braille text and hands on. The needs of tourist with mobility impairment include: accessibility in parking areas, ramps, doors, toilets, pathways, signs, plenty of seats, enough space in exhibit room, and displays are in suitable height. This study aimed to describe teachers’ readiness, teachers’ obstacles, and teachers’ efforts to overcome the obstacles in online learning in pandemic period of SMP Negeri 1 Sorkam.  The research was conducted by applying qualitative descriptive method. Interview, questionnaire, and documentation were used in collecting the data. The data was analysis by applying data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion. The result of Sthe research showed (1) the average of teachers’ readiness in online learning in pandemic period was 3.00 (good category), 2) teachers’ obstacles in online learning in pandemic period were included the internet network was not good and the electricity network often went out, and 3) teachers’ efforts to overcome the obstacles in online learning in pandemic period was conducted offline.

This research aims to describe the types and meanings that appear in lexical cohesion in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The benefits of this research are theoretical and practical benefits. This research uses descriptive qualitative recearch. The data of this research are in the form of words and phrases contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye, the source of data in this study is a collection of texts in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. In this research, the writer uses descriptive method, using documentation technique, namely reading and taking notes. The data analysis technique uses three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of this research data uses triangulation theory. based on the results of the research found, there are as many as 97 lexical cohesion data in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye. The results of the lexical cohesion research data contained in the novel Pergi by Tere Liye include the types of repetitions as many as 55 data, which consists of 12 data epizeukis repetitions, 3 data repetition of tautotes, 14 data of anaphora repetitions, 11 data of epistropha repetition, simploke repetition of 3 data, 9 data for mesodiplosis repetition, 2 data for epanalepsis repetition, and 1 data for anadiplosis repetition. Then the type of synonymous lexical cohesion is 6 data, antonym is 18 data, collocation is 6 data, hyponym is 5 data, and finally equivalence 7 data.Key words: lexical cohesion, novel Pergi, Tere Liye

Background of the study: the use of the YouTube platform as a medium for learning information literacy in students.Purpose: to find out the implementation and use of the YouTube platform as a learning medium to help students understand information literacy.Method: Using a qualitative descriptive method with the analysis of the Miles and Huberman model approach, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.Findings: Using YouTube as an information literacy learning media helps students understand information literacy material, this can be seen from the average access to information literacy material above 5000 times.Conclusion: YouTube can be used as a medium for learning information literacy even though it is a supplement or supplement.

Storytelling is an exciting learning method that teachers can practice in learning activities. This study investigates the Kak Awam strategies in conducting storytelling to develop moral values in preschool children. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data were collected by interview, observation, document analysis and video recording. The collected data were analyzed using Miles Huberman analysis, consisting of several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. This study explains the storytelling strategies conducted by Kak Awam in delivering moral values can be implemented in learning activities at school.

Babad Panjalu merupakan salah satu karya sastra kuno yang mengandung unsur sajarah yang ditulis oleh Prajadinata, koleksi C.M. Pleyte. Babad Panjalu menjadi sumber utama dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan struktur babad, unsur semiotik, dan nilai etnopedagogik yang terkandung di dalamnya. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu studi bibliografi. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan kajian struktural, semiotik, dan etnopedagogik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, tema sejarah merupakan tema yang terdapat dalam babad ini. Alur maju merupakan pola alur yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan cerita. Pelaku utama yang terdapat dalam cerita yaitu silsilah para bupati Panjalu. Kompleksitas kehidupan, pemikiran, dan persoalan lainnya dikemas dengan dukungan watak yang variatif yang terdapat pada diri para bupati Panjalu. Hal ini didukung oleh digunakanya latar tempat seputar keraton. Kehidupan menak paling mendominasi latar sosial dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Dari tiga unsur semiotik yang ditemukan, unsur indéks paling banyak digunakan dari pada unsur ikon dan simbol. Nilai etnopedagogik yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu nilai moral manusia yang mencakup: moral manusia terhadap Tuhan, moral manusia terhadap pribadi, moral manusia terhadap manusia lain, moral manusia terhadap alam, moral manusia terhadap waktu, dan moral manusia dalam mencapai tujuan hidupnya. Moral manusia terhadap pribadi merupakan nilai moral manusia yang paling banyak terdapat dalam Babad Panjalu. Babad Panjalu (lit. The Chonicle of Panjalu), which is written by Prajadinata, a collection CM Pleyte, is one of ancient literary works. It contains elements of history. It is the main source in this study. This research used descriptive method that aims to describe the structure, semiotic elements, and the ethnopedagogical values contained in Babad Panjalu. The data collection of this research employed the bibliography study. Afterward, the data was processed by using structural, semiotics, and ethnopedagogy studies. Based on the results of research conducted, the theme of history is contained in this chronicle. Forward plot is the plot pattern that is used in developing the story. The main actors in the story are the Regents of Panjalu, as well as their genealogy. The complexity of life, thoughts, and other problems are packed with the support of varied characters of the Regents of Panjalu. It is sustained by the background of the story that shows the palace and its surrounding. The aristocratic life dominates the social background in various aspects of life. Three semiotic elements were found in the study. The most widely used element is the indexes, above the icons and the symbols. Ethnopedagogical values contained in the chronicle are the human moral values. They include moral toward God, personal, other human being, nature, time, and in achieving goals. The human moral values toward personal is the mostly foind in the Babad Panjalu.

<p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>This study focused on the semantic field for the categorization of meaning, kind of meaning and semantic structure of verbs touch in Indonesian (verba sentuh). The reason of this research is the discovery of ambiguous meaning of a word when we refer to the monolingual dictionary that exists today. The method used is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The data in this study is verbs touch and source of research was obtained from the dictionary of Indonesian language (Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia) in 2008. The theory used in this analysis is the theory of Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM). Data were analyzed using three stages, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The analysis result obtained was four original meaning which holds a stake in touch verb formation, namely: [FEEL], [BEAT], [PRESSING] and [RUB]. The other components that make up the touch verb is 'someone' and 'something'. This study is only a fraction of the research from Natural Semantic Metalanguage data sourced from Indonesian. This research is expected to contribute for other Natural Semantic Metalanguage research. So that later can be arranged a monolingual Bahasa dictionary based on Natural Semantics Metalanguage.</em></p><p align="center">Abstrak</p><p>Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bidang semantik untuk kategorisasi makna, jenis makna dan struktur semantik dari verba sentuh dalam bahasa  Indonesia. Alasan yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya keambiguan makna suatu kata apabila kita merujuk pada kamus monolingual yang ada saat ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini berupa verba sentuh dan sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari kamus (KBBI) pada tahun 2008. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah teori Metabahasa Semantik Alami (MSA). Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil analisis yang didapat adalah empat makna asali yang memegang andil dalam pembentukan verba sentuh, yaitu: [MERASAKAN], [MEMUKUL], [MENEKAN] dan [MENGGOSOK]. Komponen lain yang membentuk verba sentuh adalah <em>‘seseorang</em>’ dan <em>‘sesuatu</em>’. Penelitian ini hanya sebagian kecil dari penelitian-penelitian Metabahasa Semantik Alami yang bersumber data dari bahasa Indonesia. Diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini akan dapat berkontribusi pada penelitian Metabahasa Semantik Alami yang lain. Agar nantinya dapat disusun sebuah kamus monolingual bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan Metabahasa Semantik Alami.</p>

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi pada program studi PGMI IAIN Kendari, mengetahui dampak dari implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi tersebut, dan mengetahui model kurikulum pendidikan anti korupsi mana yang lebih memahamkan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah 75 mahasiswa program studi PGMI IAIN Kendari semester IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model kurikulum pendidikan anti korupsi tidak 100% murni menerapkan model mata kuliah sendiri, tetapi mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tidak langsung, seperti pembiasaan dan pemberian nasihat. Implementasi model pendidikan anti korupsi tersebut sudah cukup memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa mengenai kajian korupsi. Model kurikulum dengan mata kuliah sendiri masih merupakan model yang paling memberi pengetahuan bagi mahasiswa terhadap materi anti korupsi, namun dengan penambahan program pembelajaran di luar kelas. Abstract This study aimed to analyze the model of anti-corruption education implemented in PGMI (Islamic elementary school teacher) department at IAIN Kendari, to know the impact of the implementation of anti-corruption education model, and to find the most effective curriculum model of anti-corruption education. This research used qualitative descriptive method and the research subject was the 4th semester students of PGMI department at IAIN Kendari. The data collecting used were questionnaire and depth interview. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The findings indicated that anti-corruption education as regular subject in department of PGMI IAN Kendari was not the only method applied,but it integrated into indirect teaching such as getting them wonted and giving them advice. The implementation of anti-corruption education model made the students understand about corruption studies. Anti-corruption education as regular subject was the effective model to help the students understand the corruption, although an additional teaching method should be considered.

Charismatic leadership involves determination, authority, openness, and the optimism of the leaders in Bengkulu City HarsallakumPesantern (Pesantren = Islamic Boarding School). This research uses descriptive method, as well as qualitative case study. The processing of data is done by data reduction, serving of the next, as well as doing the valid checking using triangulation technic, followed by concluding the findings. The result of the research, has swon that the leadership of Pesantren leaders has been a model for the people around. Being an example or a role model has created a harmonic relationship between Santri (cultural 'stream' of people within the population of Javanese who practice a more orthodox version of Islam) with the Usthad (Islamic leader). The prestige of the Pesantren leaders has created an awareness for their subordinates, that to accept, prestige has to rise from the bottom going upwards. The openness of the Pesantren leaders acts truthfully, humble, just, as well as open in accepting opinions and critics from others. The openness of Pesantren leader shows the clearliness in taking decisions, planning process that gives a chance to all subordinates. Optimism of the Pesantren leaders are behaviors that is born or created inside of the leaders in perceiving their problem, facing hardship, and thinking optimistic. This article aims to explain about the alternative of reconstructing characterized education through artwork for students at State University of Padang (UNP). The artwork is an expression in which human being is able to express moral values through its symbols; as a result, it becomes expressive media for the characterized education. This research is the qualitative one which applies the descriptive method. The data is collected through direct observation, interview and library research. Afterward, the data were analyzed by using phenomenology approach. Apparently, the problem of the students at UNP is the lack of characters. As the cultural and social beings who live in the surroundings of tradition and cultural philosophies like Minangkabau, whose famous sayings adat basandi sarak, sarak basandi kitabullah (culture is based on religion, and the religion is based on Islam), these students cannot contain themselves being in the society. On the other side, artwork as an expressive media of human’s behavior and feelings is viewed as means of delivery the concepts of characterized education for these students; in return, they can behave as what is expected by culture and tradition of Minangkabau.
