Application of Guided Inquiry Learning Model Assisted by PowerPoint Media to Improve Student Physics Achievement and Motivation

This study aims to determine: 1) Improvement of student learning motivation, 2) Improvement of student learning achievement by using Guided Inquires model assisted by PowerPoint media on the subject matter of Vibration, Waves and Sound class VII A SMP PGRI 6 MALANG 2019/2020 academic year consisting of 24 students. The object of data collection is student achievement and student motivation. Data sources are students and teachers in schools. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive analysis while this class action research (PTK) procedure used II cycles, and at the end of each cycle a test was performed to determine student achievement. Based on the results of the study found that the results of student motivation in the first cycle obtained mastery learning by 70.24% with enough categories and in the second cycle 80.51% with good categories. Improved learning achievement in the first cycle obtained by mastery learning by 62.5% and students who completed there were 15 participants, students who did not complete 9 participants, with a pretty good category. In cycle II the increase was 87.5% and 21 students were complete while those unfinished were 3 participants in either category. The application of the Guided Inquiri learning model assisted by PowerPoint media can improve the motivation and achievement of physics learning for Grade VII A students of SMP PGRI 6 MALANG.

<p><em>This study aims to describe the importance of a project based learning model in social studies learning to improve student achievement. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with a naturalistic approach. This research was conducted at SMP IT MTA Karanganyar. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research instrument is the author himself as a data collector. The data validation was done by using triangulation techniques, double checking, and peer question and answer. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis techniques which included data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification of conclusion. From the research results it can be concluded that the project based learning model is very important in social studies learning to improve student achievement. The increase in student learning achievement can be seen in the increase in student learning outcomes in material relics of the Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia. Project Based Learning assists teachers in developing student skills in making products that have benefits for students in participating in classroom learning. This condition is the main asset used in implementing the 2013 curriculum to create a generation that is superior, intelligent, creative, has quranic morals and environmentally friendly characters.</em></p>

AbstrakTujuan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Mastery Learning untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Agama Hindu Kelas V SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Lokasi  tempat penelitian ini di SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat. SD ini terletak di Banjar Dinas Kertabuana, Desa Tianyar Barat, Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem. Lokasi SD ini cukup mudah dijangkau karena terletak di pinggir jalan yang menuju Desa Pakraman Muntigunung. Subjek penelitian ini adalah murid kelas V SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat yang berjumlah 24 orang yang terdiri dari 10 orang siswa laki-laki dan 14 orang siswa perempuan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan tes prestasi belajar. Metode analisis data adalah deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini penggambaran secara lengkap dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut: hasil yang diperoleh pada awalnya 65,00 pada siklus I menjadi 72,50 dan pada siklus II menjadi 82,00. Hasil tersebut setelah dilakukan analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran  Mastery Learning untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Agama Hindu siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat Semester II  Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci: Prestasi  belajar, Model Pembelajaran Mastery Learning.AbstractThe purpose of writing this class action research is to find out whether the Application of the Mastery Learning Model to improve the learning achievement of Hindu Religion Class V SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat Semester II Academic Year 2017/2018. The location of this research site is SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat. This elementary school is located in Banjar Dinas Kertabuana, West Tianyar Village, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency. The location of this elementary school is quite easy to reach because it is located on the side of the road that leads to Pakraman Muntigunung Village. The subjects of this study were 24 grade V students of SD Negeri 8 Tianyar Barat, consisting of 10 male students and 14 female students. Data in this study were collected by learning achievement tests. The data analysis method is descriptive. The results obtained from this study can be described as complete as follows: the results obtained were initially 65.00 in cycle I to 72.50 and in cycle II to 82.00. These results after an analysis using descriptive analysis concluded that the application of the Mastery Learning Model to improve the learning achievement of Hindu Religion students in Class V of Elementary School 8 Tianyar Barat Semester II Academic Year 2017/2018. This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on student achievement in school. This research is focused on the teacher's role in fostering student learning motivation. This motivation is very important for improving student learning achievement. Because as is well known, student motivation in learning is lacking. This will affect its success in learning. For this reason, there is a need for efforts by teachers to increase interest in learning and motivate students to be more enthusiastic about achieving in school. The approach taken in this journal research is the approach (library research) which uses literature as its object. From the research of several literatures, the results of this study indicate that learning motivation has an influence on student learning activities, especially on student achievement. The higher the student's motivation, the better the learning achievement. Vice versa, the lower the motivation of student learning, it will be difficult for these students to achieve achievement in learning. The teacher also has a very important role and has an influence on student motivation in school.

Student achievement is shown by the results of the initial observations indicate that learning is done not run maXI-MIAmum. Therefore to improve student achievement required learning model with the model and the right strategy. One is the learning model of Problem Solving This study aims to improve student achievement. The location of this research at SMA Negeri 1 Denpasar with the number of students 46 people. The data in this study were obtained from the learning achievement test which is then carried deskriptif. The research analysis was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is done based on the following steps: ( 1 ) develop a plan of activities, ( 2 ) carry out actions , ( 3 ) observation, and ( 4 ) refleksi. The result of research shows that according to the preliminary observations of student learning outcomes are less active, easily bored, and the students' attention on teacher's explanation is so small that the average value of 72.97 students only. After the first cycle measures mastery learning materials increased to an average of 78,24 with 27 students and the students completed the unfinished 10 students . The results of the action in the second cycle after the material mastery learning achievement test given rise to an average of 84.19 with 35 students completed and unfinished 2 students. Percentage of mastery learning in the second cycle is in compliance with defined indicators of success and the cycle is declared not followed, with the conclusion that the use of problem solving learning model has been able to either to be used as an alternative in improving student achievement.

This research was conducted in Class IX-13 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja in odd semester of 2016/2017, with condition of learning achievement of IPA not yet fulfill KKM. The purpose of this classroom action research is to improve students' learning achievement through experimental methods. The method of data collection through the test of learning achievement, which then analyzed by using descriptive method quantitative. The data were presented in the form of average learning achievement and learning mastery procession. The results obtained from this study is the students' learning achievement initially averaged only 73.56 with mastery learning 52.78%, then after the implementation of Cycle I student achievement increased to an average of 79.22 with learning completeness reached 83.33 %. Cycle II also happened improvement of student achievement reach 79,76 and learning comprehension 86,11%. The conclusion obtained from this research is Implementation of experimental method can improve student achievement in class IX-13 odd semester, academic year 2016/2017.

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan yang berjumlah 126 siswa dan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 siswa yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian (1) motivasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai 4,088 > 1,986 artinya variabel motivasi belajar siswa memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan sebesar 40,88%. (2) pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar memiliki nilai 2,543 > 1,986 artinya variabel pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan sebesar 25,43%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara variabel motivasi belajar dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2018/2019, dengan nilai 9,957 > 3,09. Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Pemanfaatan Fasilitas Belajar, dan Prestasi Belajar. ABSTRACT This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of student learning motivation and utilization of student learning facilities on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan, totaling 126 students and with a total sample of 96 students selected by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using, interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the study (1) student motivation has a value of t count 4.088> t table 1.986 means that the variable of student motivation has an influence on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan by 40.88%. (2) the utilization of learning facilities has a value of t count 2.543> t table 1.986 meaning that the variable utilization of learning facilities has an influence on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan by 25.43%. (3) There is a joint effect between the variables of learning motivation and the use of learning facilities on the learning achievement of students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan in the academic year 2018/2019, with a value of F count 9,957> F table 3.09 . This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Sawan in Class VII A8 whose students' ability to materialize Hinduism was low. The purpose of this class action research writing is to find out whether the Expository learning model can improve student learning achievement. The data collection method is a learning achievement test. The data analysis method is quantitative descriptive. The results obtained from this study are Expository can improve student learning achievement. This is evident from the results obtained initially with an average value of 68.71, in the first cycle to 6.49 and in the second cycle to 6.88. The conclusion derived from this study is that the Expository learning model can improve learning achievement.

This classroom action research conducted in Class XI Science 7 3rd semester of academic year 2016/2017, which amounted to 34 people, consisting of 11 men and 23 women. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes. Learning mathematics with the lecture method the results are far from KKM (80), and then tested by the method of discussion with friends bench results have not yet been achieved overall. The purposes of this researsh were to analyze how learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve students' learning achievement. Research data was collected by means of the provision of learning achievement test. In analyzing the data obtained is used descriptive analysis model. The data generated from this study consists of the data: the beginning, the first cycle and cycle II. From the preliminary data obtained an average value of 78.38 and reached 61.76% mastery learning. This data is far below expectations considering learning success indicators in the first cycle is 80 to 80% mastery learning. While indicators of success on the second cycle also according KKM is 80, with 85% or completeness learn more. In the first cycle there is an average increase class achieve mastery learning 79.18 and reached 73.53%. In the second cycle class average acquisition has reached 84.0 and the percentage of mastery learning has reached 97.06%. Data on the second cycle has been no increase in line with expectations due to the nature of the use of constructivist learning model. The conclusion from this research is learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve learning achievement.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Team Game Tournament (TGT) Learning Model improves the English learning achievement of students of The class X IPA-2 odd semester Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati in the 2019/2020 academic year. The design of this study is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were students of The class X IPA-2 odd semesters Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pati in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research variables consist of student achievement variables and teacher activity variables. The data collection method is the observation questionnaire method, and the test method. The data analysis method is qualitative data analysis. From the results of the study, information was obtained that there was an increase in the English learning achievement of The class X IPA-2 students in the odd semester of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kudus for the 2019/2020 academic year. This increase is indicated by: (1) the average student achievement in cycle I is 7.14; in the second cycle cycle was 7.44; and in cycle III is 8.84; (2) student learning completeness in cycle I was 17 students or 47.22% and 19 students or 52.78% who did not complete; in cycle II students who completed were 26 students or 72.22% and those who did not complete were 10 students or 27.78%; in cycle III, students who completed 36 students or 100% and there were no students who did not complete; (3) completeness of classical learning in the first cycle was 47.22%, in the second cycle it was 72.22; and in cycle III it reaches 100%. This means that it has reached the predetermined indicator. Besides that, there is also an increase in student activity during the learning process, both individually and in groups. Student responses or responses to the application of the TGT learning model were classified as high, reaching 83.14%.

Interviews and observations showed low learning achievement of independence and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tinggarjaya, so this research aims to improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry. This research is the subject of a class action that takes fifth-grade students with a number of 30 students consisting of 12 men and 18 women. This study uses a model of Quantum Teaching is carried out2cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. Based on the result obtained in the first cycle, students' independence as much as79,58% with both criteria and the second cycles much as89,18%, thus increasing the criterion very well, while the acquisition of student achievement obtained in the first cycle the average value of the class of 58,67 with passing grade is achieved only 60%. in the second cycle, the acquisition of student achievement obtained an average value of 89,25class with mastery learning reaches 88,9%. The collection of data through questionnaires and student evaluation sheet, Quantum Teaching shows that the model can improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry.
