The paper aims to address a difficult yet important issue of the modern world, which is related to a lack of consideration, from investors’ point of view, for the sustainable future of our socioeconomic system. Many investors think in terms of MSV (maximization of the shareholder value) and fail to consider other important stakeholders. Future generations will “inherit” the results of the actions of current generations. Investing money in some lucrative ideas is definitely a very important financial activity, but it must be done responsibly. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) postulated by the UN; the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria; and the Equator Principles are some notions proposed to be considered to make investors’ actions more responsible. Future generations deserve a better, safer, and unwasted place to live in, so it is the right time to start thinking of them as major stakeholders. The paper reviews some of the important research related to this issue and brings its contribution to the stakeholder theory by proposing a new vision, one that is future oriented. The proposal to conceptualize future generations as stakeholders is an important contribution of the paper. Methodologically, we relied on relevant literature and recent initiatives and approaches. Further research is needed to identify the means to operationalize our proposal.

Retrocesso. Receitas públicas. Safeguard clauses: the possibility of constitutional reviewing the bonded educational income Abstract: The article deals with the limits and possibilities of altering constitutional norms that guarantee budgetary linkage to functions typical of the State as a Public Education. The hypothesis that arises in this study looks for what is necessary, is not a fundamental right, is not a case, but the same, this is a finding found obstacles from the point of view of an intergenerational democracy. It is considered, on the one hand, that the right to education is protected, originally, it is not very Brazilian constitutional as a stony clause, but, on the other hand, future generations or post-1988 governmental conjunctural problems may question the legitimacy of fundamental norms originated in context previous sociopolitical. For the development of this work, firstly they are analyzed like stone clauses and the limits to the reformer power. Next, they are studied as clauses of clauses and their constitutional evolution. Subsequently, an analysis is made of the constitutionality of any amendment that abolishes the mandatory binding of transfer to the critic of a prison of prohibition of retrocession. Child protection has become an important issue in the modern world. To guarantee the future generations, children must be protected from all forms of of interference, threats, violence and exploitation carried out by adults. Protection is not only charged to parents, but also to the community, nation and state. This article tries to examine the attitude of Islam towards the issue of child protection through a search of syara arguments. Especially in the Qur'an and in the Hadith. This study finds out that Islam has a broader perspective. In guaranteeing the needs of children. The guarantees start when they are still in the wombs (fetus) to adulthood. This can be understood from the provisions of the Shari'ah which prohibits abortion and provide relief for pregnant women not to fast during the month of Ramadan. In addition, Islam also gives rights to children, such as the right to life, the right to have aqiqah (religious redemption), the right to have a good name, the right to receive breastfeeding for two years, and so on.

The marital relationship has been changing over time. The institution of marriage has become more democratic, following societal development. Marriage and divorce have lost their bureaucratic and moral obstacles. However, marriage has retained its role in the welfare of spouses and the evolution of society. Law protects the moral and economic rights of spouses. It should be noted, however, that the safeguarding of spouses’ rights and interests a priori concerns the rights and interests of third parties. This is the phenomenon of marriage. In a legal relationship, spouses are recognised as special right holders by default, which refers, for example, to insolvency proceedings, matrimonial property regimes and social rights. The research analyses the correlation between the trends of the institution of marriage and third-party rights in the context of the welfare of society. The objective of the research is to analyse the institution of marriage in order to trace its development in the modern world and establish how it affects third-party rights and public interests in general. The research employs methods of legal interpretation to analyse legislation and the inductive and deductive method to draw conclusions and formulate suggestions. Based on the results of the research, the institution of marriage is undergoing transformation. Marriage is losing its initial importance. Unmarried cohabitation is becoming increasingly prevalent. The biggest challenge is to balance the right to self-determination of a person choosing cohabitation and the public interest in legal stability and predictability, which are essential for the sustainable development of society.

The author considers the questions relating to the formation of lawyers’ professional traits from the point of view of the significance which human capital and investment in this capital hold in contemporary times. It follows from the analyses, which were carried out, that the dire need for taking up actions with the aim to shape lawyers appears one of the most vital tasks. This requires taking into account visible trends in the changing job market. Another aspect results from the need for multilevel qualifications and conditions behind lawyers’ actions and their decisions. Thus, colleges of higher education which educate prospective lawyers, as well as lawyers’ corporations, are confronted by challenges of forming, in young people, features that are indispensable for them to be valuable lawyers and not only executors of simple activities. The author points to the fact that lawyers need shaping because, among others, during their whole social lives and realization of professional tasks their personality traits and potential related to communication will constantly manifest through accepting and following or rejecting and opposing values, principles, reflexions, empathy, sensitivity, the farthest-fetched imagination, objectivism, cooperation, dialogue, distancing themselves from political disputes, etc. Students of the art of law should be characterized by a changed mentality, new vision of law – service to man, and realization of standards of law, as well as perception of the importance of knowledge, skills, attitudes and competences.

This chapter explores the seminal topic of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), an objective within the Sustainable Development goals. It reviews the theory and definitions that shape the current conversation on UHC. The movement from selective primary health care to UHC demonstrates a global commitment to the progressive realization of the right to health. However, access to UHC is limited by barriers to care, inadequate provision of care, and poor-quality services. To deliver UHC, it is critical to align inputs in the health system with the burden of disease. Quality of care must also be improved. Steady, sufficient financing is needed to achieve the laudable goal of UHC.This chapter highlights some important steps taken by countries to expand access to quality health care. Finally, the chapter investigates the theory and practice behind a morbidity-based approach to strengthening health systems and achieving UHC.
