scholarly journals Aspects of adaptation in the sports training of students who practise powerlifting

This article represents a theoretical analysis of the literature in the field of sports training, which reflects the specific focus on adaptation processes in students who practise performance sports under the conditions of studying in higher education institutions. According to several authors, the adaptation process that occurs in the athlete’s body is the foundation for achieving and improving sports performance. Body adaptation to physical effort is the reaction of the whole organism and is aimed at reaching two goals: ensuring muscle activity and maintaining homeostasis of the internal environment, which are important aspects for planning the training process. The article reflects the process of adaptation to physical effort and its basic principles in the powerlifting sport event. However, the essence of this paper consists in the aspects of combining sports training with the educational process and highlighting that, for effective planning of the training process with student athletes who practise powerlifting, it is necessary to take into account a number of factors, namely: psycho-social changes (especially in the first year of studies); dietary changes and caloric deficit; morpho-functional, hormonal and metabolic changes related to stress caused by the process of studying, especially during the exam periods; analysis of the curriculum in which practical sessions are persisting – a factor that can lead to neuromuscular exhaustion, which will worsen the training process; rational planning of physical effort to avoid fatigue, a condition that can affect the studying process and others. Taking these aspects into account will help avoid “maladaptation”.

Cadets’ weapons practice is one of the important components of professional training. Its success is in the training hours’ distribution and mastering the main tasks at the early stages of military training. The correct distribution of weapon practice means and methods is very important. Planning of all weapon practice means begins with the definition of conditions and logistics. It is important to implement the principles of sports training. The implementation of the sports training basic principles during the school year allows expanding the cadets ’ body adaptation mechanisms to daily physical and mental stress. The development of innovative technologies for planning hours and the implementation of weapon practice tools allows to optimize and improve the effectiveness of cadets’ military training from the first year. Methodological aspects of planning and calculating hours by types of cadets’ weapon practice are presented, taking into account the tasks and direction of the training tools implementation. Difficulties are analyzed and ways to eliminate them in the process of improving the cadets weapon practice are found. The key tasks in the structure of weapon practice and the direction of their implementation are defined. The author’s version of cadets’ weapon practice planning allows to control and adjust both physical and mental loads.

The article discusses the existing problems associated with the adaptation of first-year students with disabilities, who have profound impairments of body function (totally blind, deaf, and lesions of the musculoskeletal system) in the educational process at the university. Cause-and-effect relationships were established in the existing difficulties of relationships with classmates, which depend both on the student and on the psychosocial climate in the group.

We present the analysis of sports motor skills development in children with musculoskeletal disorders by means of adaptive swimming. The developed methods of sports training for children with musculoskeletal disorders in adaptive swimming at the initial stage were designed for three years. All participants were students of the adaptive swimming school. The significance of the presented study lies in the fact that the knowledge about the content of private adaptive swimming techniques in the system of sports training for children with musculoskeletal disorders is analyzed, presented and supplemented. We expand the concept of the effectiveness of adaptive swimming use in increasing the level of physical activity and sports preparedness of children with musculoskeletal disorders to solve the problems of their social integration. The provisions reflecting the structure and content of the educational process of adaptive swimming at the initial stage of sports training are disclosed. Features of the training process depend on the degree of motor and functional capabilities of children with musculoskeletal disorders. An analysis of the pedagogical experiment results is presented, which reflects a change in indicators of physical development, physical and functional fitness of children with musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract The training process as well as the adaptation of the body is a multifactorial process. This means that the factors can vary from the morpho-functional and genetic characteristics of the subjects to the patterns of a selected training program, dosed and loaded by the person who leads the instructive-educational process. The body’s adaptation to these factors is directly related to the methods and means used. During the training process it is necessary to follow a series of principles and rules, which help and ensure the proper conduct of the training system for athletes.

The paper discusses the problem of the sustainable functioning of the educational system in the context of the intensive development of information technologies, which is urgent in Russia and, practically, in other countries throughout the world. It has become especially acute in recent years in connection with the forced transition to a large-scale organization of distance learning. Based on the analysis of the cultural and historical process in Russia, the most important traditions and features of Russian education are identified, which ensured its sustainable development and world recognition of a high level of quality. The radical economic and social changes at the end of the twentieth century, their consequences and impact on education are considered. The authors point to a number of factors that play a significant role in the development of the education system, determining its flexibility and sustainability. Special attention is paid to modern trends in the development and use of information technologies in education in the context of digitalization of the economy, including distance learning, and the open education system. New objective possibilities are compared that should contribute to the formation of an innovative educational environment of the university, intellectualization of the educational process, and problematic aspects that require detailed study. The authors classify these problems. The directions of their solution are outlined.

The problem of the adaptation of first-year students of medical universities is an important issue of medical education in Ukraine. Adaptation of first-year students is a factor that seriously affects the educational activities of educational institutions. However, the issue of adaptation to training in medical schools remains poorly understood and unresolved. A study of the adaptation processes of first-year students of the medical faculty to the educational process in Vinnitsa National Medical University, based on the results of an anonymous survey of 200 students. For the majority of the students surveyed (46%), the adaptation process turned out to be a little problematic. For 28% of students, adaptation was not required, which was associated with studying in their hometown or having friends with senior students. 9% of the students surveyed did not determine the problem of adaptation, which is associated with the perception of the problem. 17% of the students surveyed indicated that the adaptation process is a significant problem that requires considerable effort and a long time. Important factors that influenced this were social status and place of residence for learning. The basic criteria that influenced adaptation were self-assessment and communication. It is these criteria that turned out to be higher for people who did not need adaptation, and significantly lower for students with problem adaptation. The results obtained may indicate promising areas for further research on the study and testing of methods for improving adaptation to the educational process by first-year students at a medical school.
