The summary. As we know, multiculturalism denotes a society in which many different cultures co exist. It is a concept aimed at the preservation and development of the cultural diversity of people of different ethnicities and faiths in any country and in the world as a whole and the ethnocultural integration of ethnic minorities. As a crossroads of different civilisations, our ancient homeland Azerbaijan has, for centuries, been known as a country with an established atmosphere of ethnocultural diversity where representatives of different ethnic groups and faiths have lived in an environment of peace, tranquillity and mutual understanding. Multiculturalism and tolerance have historically been a way of life of Azerbaijanis, and today it has become a way of life of every citizen of the Azerbaijani state regardless of their national identity, language or religion. The rich multicultural past of the Azerbaijani people has survived not only in today’s tolerant lifestyle of our people, but also in the literary-artistic, scientificphilosophical and political-legal sources and documents created by our people. In the broad sense, the essence of multiculturalism is that the state does not discriminate against individuals or social groups representing different and unique cultures, does not regard any of them superior or inferior to the others, and grants equal rights to representatives of all cultures.

In the information society the status of information is changing: this main value of global civilization becomes an important resource of socio- economic, technological and cultural development. The rapid development of virtual technologies and the growing number of Internet users in Ukraine and in the world causes the new challenges to communication of each organization. The book publishers are also obliged to respond to these processes. However, the works devoted directly to publishers’ communication in the modern media space are still lacking in Ukraine. The objective of the article is to clarify peculiarities and conditions of the activities of Ukrainian book publishers in today’s media space which is an important issue today. It is analyzed the literature and sources on this issue and it is ascertained the theoretical and practical possibilities to take into account the trends in the world of modern media in the PR-activity of book publishers. Also the prospects for further scientific study and practical use of PR-communications in the activity of publishers are determined. The analysis of current changes in the modern information space allows us to trace the general tendencies: the new subject and object areas are formed; the number of subjects is expanded; the new formats of interaction within the system of communications of the organization and in society as a whole are created. That means that publishing house’s PR-communications are complicated by the emergence of new elements, such as active audience, social networks as communication channels, promotions on the Internet and others. PR communication in the Internet space is the most effective and inexpensive tool for interaction of publishers with active audiences. Thus, the activation of PR communication in the modern media space is associated with the emergence of the latest information technologies, online media as well as development of Internet. The use of online channels of Internet for communication with the target audience of publishing organizations has certain advantages over traditional media. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the information saturation of media space, which complicates the way of PR-messages of book publishers to the reader.

India is one of the most socially fragmented and unequal societies of the world. At the same time, it has the distinction of having the longest history of most elaborative affirmative action programmes for alleviating socially structured inequalities. While the affirmative action programmes have wider coverage in terms of social groups, there is continuing demand by new social groups for getting acknowledged as ‘disadvantaged’ and inclusion in the system of affirmative action. While group based ‘reservation’ as the most vital instrument of social justice has long been under fire and grappling with several challenges, the social justice regime is faced with the charge that it has largely excluded nation’s religious minorities. Of course, religion based affirmative action is faced with many constraints; nevertheless there are possibilities for it. This article discusses the constraints and possibilities of affirmative action for disadvantaged religious minorities, Muslims in particular.

The work is devoted to the development of the concept of a contemporary field-specific museum on the example of the Museum of Aviation and Cosmonautics of Samara University. The rapid development of the Kuibyshev Aviation Insti-tute, and later the Samara National Research University named after academician S.P.Korolev identified the need to improve not only the expositions of the museum, but also to propose a new concept of the museum, to greatly expand its role and significance in external relations, in education and in scientific activity. The design of the museum concept was based on the ontological approach. The analysis of the legal framework of museum activities in the Russian Federa-tion is carried out, the views of philosophers and historians on the concept of the museum are presented, the practice of designing modern museums, and the features of specialized, and in particular, university museums are considered. The authors propose to include a virtual tour of the locations that previously independently existed at the university, and are used in the educational process. These are: a training aerodrome where the samples of aviation equipment are presented; Europe's largest Center for the History of Aircraft Engines, aircraft class and equipment class; Museum of the history of KuAI-SSAU. On the one hand, it is important to maintain continuity in the museum's expositions, and on the other hand, it is significant to offer innovative solutions that will be in demand by a potential consumer and the target audi-ence. It is proposed to focus on the museum of the future, on the widespread use of information technologies, the presentation of new and future projects, on the expansion of the volume of thematic material through QR codes, which allow visitors to supplement audio and video materials. Equipping the museum with bilingual audio guides and basic inscriptions is an indisputable requirement for a modern museum. Cool and original lighting, moving models and exhib-its, flying drones and flies, the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies, as well as a relaxation zone in the form of an aircraft cabin will make it possible to achieve the desired impression among visitors about the university of the future.

The article examines modern socio-political relations, the rapid development of communication and information technologies, the expansion of ideological influence, impulses to improve methods and means of communication, as well as criminal threats to society. The study notes that the minds and hearts of people in different parts of the world turn into a training ground for testing various ideas, in other words, an ideological training ground for training. It is also clear that the activities of fanatical political Islamists and religious extremist movements that try to disguise religion and undermine religious values are one of the factors that threaten the spirituality of our children. Despite its growing role in the global geopolitical arena in Central Asia, it is important to protect our country, which is a key player in the region in terms of population and territory, from stereotypes of religious fanaticism, to create conditions for citizens so that they can practice their beliefs, tolerance and views on interethnic harmony, further strengthening the centuries-old traditions and customs of our people.

The rapid development of science and technology, production, globalization and integration processes in the world, the intensive interaction of world languages create the basis for the continuous enrichment of the vocabulary of languages. It should be emphasized that the effective use of the extensive experience gained in the world linguistics, in the study of the Internet terms in Uzbek and English, the creation of dictionaries and, to some extent, the editing gives good results. The system of the Internet terminology has its own specifics. The study of terminology brings to the idea that the phenomenon of figurative use of terms is valid. Specifics of the Internet Terminology can include the following:1) open Internet concepts; 2) absence or uncertainty of affiliation between species and varieties; 3) complicated by emotional components; 4) genetic connection and active interaction with common vocabulary; 5) adoption of appropriations; 6) rapid enrichment of the vocabulary. The main trend of our time is the improvement and complication of knowledge in the field of the Internet. With the development of the Internet, people create linguistic units the main function of which is to name increasingly comprehensive concepts. The approach to understanding Internet terms will change, and this will immediately affect the size of the meanings of names associated with the Internet terms.

Ayurvedic system of medicine is considered the most ancient system of the world. In the prehistoric times medicinal plants were used by the various tribes. Evidence suggests that the people of Indus valley civilization followed this system of medicines. The Vedic and post Vedic period saw the rapid development of Ayurveda supported by the efforts of Charaka, Susrutra and Vagbhata etc. Buddhist monks played important role in the propagation of Ayurveda. However, the invasion of Muslims after 10th century destroyed Ayurveda and Unani system of medicines flourished in the country. Pre independence period again saw the emergence of Ayurveda. After Independence it attains new height with its incorporation into the Drug and Cosmetic Act. The preparation of Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia helps in the standardization of Ayurvedic drugs to compete at global level with allopathic system of medicines. Keywords: ayurvedic system, Vedic and post Vedic period, Charaka, Susrutra and Vagbhata, Ayurvedic drugs

World Music: A Very Short Introduction looks at the history of world music and its many definitions. ‘World music’ is more than a marketing term for the music industry. During the Enlightenment, the idea of the ‘folk song’ encouraged European audiences to imagine music from around the world. Technology helped to create the ‘audio moment’—the transformation of sound into material which could be recorded and distributed worldwide. Throughout history, music has been used to express unity and national pride. World music both foregrounds and transgresses borders. Ideas in different cultures about world music, and indeed about music, are as diverse as ever.
