Keramat is the name of one of the markets in Sampit City which is mostly inhabited by the middle to lower economic population. Located in a congested area and market dumping waste directly into the river that flows under people's houses along with garbage that seems scattered in the river flow makes the settlement look very shabby. The children's daily activities here have to mingle with market waste and unhealthy rivers for bathing and playing. Often littering, fighting, and not caring about the environment are the daily sights of the children here. This community service is an activity of the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) in 2020. The focus of this activity is to instil character education for children of sacred villages by using theatre arts. Theatre is also intended to accommodate the children of the Keramat Market in developing their potential. Due to the existence of Covid-19, activities that were originally planned to be offline have turned online. The media used in carrying out activities are the WhatsApp Group, Instagram, and Youtube. Through this activity, implementation manuals have been produced, a compilation of instructional videos, cinematic audios of folk tales, and scientific articles. The children of the sacred market were enthusiastic about participating in the activity and gave positive feedback.

ABSTRAKPengabdian kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Penfui Timur Kecamatan Kupang Tengah Kabupaten Kupang. Target luaran yang diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Anak-anak di Desa Penfui Timur dapat mengembangkan karakter, selain belajar formal. (2) Anak-anak di Desa Penfui Timur dapat mengaplikasikan pengalaman dan ilmu yang kami berikan dengan sarana puzzle, selama maupun setelah kegiatan ini berlangsung. (3) Anak-anak mengenal kekayaan dan nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang mereka miliki dan mengandung nilai-nilai karakter di dalamnya yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. (4) Anak-anak di Desa Penfui Timur dapat mencintai dan melestarikan budaya mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini didesain dalam bentuk ceramah, diskusi dan sharing pendapat baik dengan anak maupun orang tuanya dalam rangka untuk menjawab masalah yang berkaitan dengan upaya menanamkan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal pada anak-anak di Penfui Timur dan permainan anak-anak dengan media puzzle. Media puzzle sangat pas untuk dipakai karena puzzle identik dengan anak yaitu dunia bermain. Puzzle juga memiliki manfaat untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif, keterampilan motorik halus, keterampilan sosial, keterampilan berinteraksi dengan orang lain, melatih koordinasi mata dengan tangan, melatih logika, melatih kesabaran, dan memperluas pengetahuan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa puzzle berbasis kearifan lokal memuat nilai-nilai karakter sebagai salah satu sarana dalam mengembangkan karakter  pada anak-anak. Dengan pertimbangan bahwa anak-anak lebih menyukai permainan ini karena dianggap menarik dan tidak membosankan.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Kearifan Lokal, Media Puzzle ABSTRACTCommunity Service is carried out in Penfui Timur Village, Kupang Tengah District, Kupang Regency. The expected output targets through this activity can be formulated as follows: (1) Children in East Penfui Village can develop their character, in addition to formal learning. (2) Children in Penfui Timur Village can apply the experience and knowledge that we provide using puzzles, both during and after this activity takes place. (3) Children recognize the wealth and socio-cultural values they have and contain character values that can be applied in daily life. (4) Children in East Penfui Village can love and preserve their culture. The method used in community service is designed in the form of lectures, discussions, and sharing of opinions both with children and their parents to answer problems related to efforts to instill character-based values of local wisdom in children in East Penfui and children's play with puzzle media. The media puzzle is very fitting to use because a puzzle is identical to children, namely the world of play. Puzzles also have benefits for improving cognitive skills, fine motor skills, social skills, interacting skills with others, training eye coordination with hands, training logic, training patience, and expanding knowledge. The results of this activity show that local wisdom-based puzzles contain character values as a means of developing character in children. The Community Service Project funded by the Higher Education IbM grant as reported here was conducted in order to meet the real need of the focus group in terms of training attendants of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Kelurahan Dr Soetomo, Surabaya to have the competence to tell Nusantara folk tales These skills of storytelling that have been rare and marginalized by the advancement modern means of communication were badly needed by attendants or would-be attendants who are organized under Early Childhood Education (ECE). Through the training, ECE attendants will be enabled to tell Nusantara folktales which are rich in local wisdom as a media of character education for todlers in the local ECE. Such a community service project could also be beneficial if it is disseminated in other focus groups that badly need it in the inner city of Surabaya.

Community Service is one of the programs that are needed by the community today. This is done as an effort to respond to the needs of the community and is real program and realistic, especially in the fields of education, social, economic and cultural. Community Service Program is a program that is learning, studying and serving that is realized in the form of introduction and appreciation of community development through the clarity of planned change programs and problem solving methods regarding the ability to choose and use the right skills. A big nation is a nation that wants to respect its culture. Indonesia has a diversity of cultures that are characteristic and assets of the Indonesian nation. But most of the younger generation has forgotten a lot of the culture of the nation. The tendency of the younger generation now prefers outside cultures and many younger generations are less able to sort out most of which have negative impacts rather than a positive impact on themselves and others as well as the environment. There is a need for character education so that the younger generation can be relied upon in the future according to the nation's culture, such as being responsible for mutual cooperation, mutual assistance and good manners. Reog Kendhang's art proves that local culture can increase the sense of community nationalism and be able to become social controls so as not to fall into bad lifestyle. The formation of a national culture that can truly reunite all components of the nation's culture, therefore it is necessary to have a deeper introduction to history and cultural heritage in search of the identity of a pluralistic Indonesian society.

Formation to build character in the digital era in the world of education through the development of ethical values and performance support to form the foundation of individual characters expected. The media serves to direct students to gain various learning experiences. The aim of this study is to know the feasibility of interactive multimedia development in children' story of character education-based. Sources of data in this study were obtained from: 1) Respondents: 7th grade students of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan which amount to 23 students, 2) Informants: validators, students and Indonesian language teachers of Junior High School Panca Budi Medan. The results of the feasibility of learning media validation by instructional media design experts was declared "very good" The assessment of the content feasibility aspect was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 91%. The assessment of the presentation feasibility was declared "very good" with a total average percentage of 83%. The assessment of the graphic feasibility was declared "good" with a total average percentage of 77%.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a new life order which is commonly known as a health protocol implementation. Efforts to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic can be made physically or spiritually. Physical efforts are carried out by applying health protocols in a disciplined manner, while spiritual efforts are carried out by increasing the quality of worship of God. These two efforts must be combined with maintaining the quality of worship in health protocols. In this case, the quality of worship can be improved by deepening the understanding and application of Arabic tajwid and grammar in reciting verse and prayer recitations. In addition, it is necessary to practice morning and evening prayers as self-protection and maintain mental stability. To achieve this goal, this team carried out a community service by compiling two pocketbooks. The first one is related to the application of health protocols in daily worship and another pocketbook containing tajwid material and morning prayer, which was equipped with exposure and training on recitation and reading the morning prayer and evening prayers. These exposures are presented in outreach videos and tutorials. The result shows that people are increasingly aware of implementing health protocols in their daily activities, especially in Islamic worship. In addition, the community's mentality has become more robust, and people have become calmer in living their lives during the pandemic since some people have practiced morning and evening prayers. In addition, they also apply tajwid and Arabic grammar in a better way so that their worship activities become much more solemn. ===== Pandemi Covid-19 membawa manusia kepada tatanan kehidupan baru dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengahadapi pandemi Covid-19 dan terhindar dari penularan virus dapat dilakukan secara jasmani maupu rohani. Upaya jasmaniah dilakukan dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan secara disiplin, sedangkan upaya rohani dilakukan dengan mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan dengan meningkatkan kualitas peribadatan. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan tetap melakukan ibadah dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan, diikuti dengan pemahaman dan penerapan tajwid dan gramatika Arab dengan benar dalam melafalkan bacaan ayat dan doa. Selain itu, diperlukan pula pengamalan doa pagi dan petang untuk menjaga diri dan meningkatkan kesehatan mental. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tim  melaksanakan pengabdian dengan menyusun buku saku penerapan protokol kesehatan dalam peribadatan sehari-hari dan buku saku yang berisi materi tajwid dan doa pagi-petang yang diikuti dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan penerapan tajwid dan membaca doa pagi dan petang yang dilakukan dengan membuat video penyuluhan dan tutorial. Hal ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa masyarakat semakin sadar untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan dalam setiap aktivitas sehari-hari, khususnya dalam peribadatan Islam. Selain itu, mental masyarakat menjadi semakin kuat dan masyarakat menjadi lebih tenang dalam menjalani kehidupan selama pandemi. Hal ini karena sebagian masyarakat telah mengamalkan doa pagi dan petang, serta menerapkan tajwid dan gramatika Arab dengan lebih baik sehingga aktivitas ibadah mereka menjadi semakin khusyu’.

Abstract: Many students' behaviors that are not in accordance with the noble values of the nation, for example, attitudes only selfish, breaking the law, deviant behavior among students and students who tend to increase, even brawl in congregation, bullying, acts of immorality, fornography, drug addicts, cheating, plagiarism and liquor became the hot news adorning the media all the time. so that it becomes the talk of various parties who show concern for the importance of improving the character of students. It seems to have lost the character that has been built for centuries, such as friendliness, social solidarity and helpfulness. Educational institutions are considered not optimal in shaping the personality of students, thus inspiring the emergence of a commitment to boost character education in an integrated and tiered manner, which requires school-based management in its implementation. Keywords: School based management, building up character value.

Character education is a must for countries that want to make their citizens have good attitudes and behaviors. The goal to be achieved in Community Service activities is to make students aware of the need to have and implement attitudes that have character. In the school environment, the teacher's role is to educate the character of students. Thus, community service activities want to make students aware and want to instill and develop character attitudes through socialization. Socialization is given to provide direct literacy of character education to students. Writing is an inseparable activity from everyday human life. Writing skills can be fostered from diligent reading. One of the reading media as well as the media for pouring student work is mading. Mading is a vehicle for applying students' abilities, especially in the field of writing. MI Manbaul Ulum Karangduren is a school located in Malang Regency. The school does not yet have a class bulletin board containing student work. Thus, the opportunity for students to develop their creativity in writing is hampered. Efforts are needed to improve writing skills for students to build a reading culture. One way is to publish bulletin as a teaching aid and coaching. Through bulletin board, it is hoped that students can have creativity in writing. The results of community service activities show that students' writing skills have improved. The average value of N-Gain Creativity Test scores 0.73 in the high category. This shows the level of effectiveness of the treatment has a high effect on the post test.
