 This article describes the use of animated daily prayer videos to support learning activities during the pandemic and its impact on the cognitive development of students in RA Sunan Ampel, Pasuruan. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with instruments. The results of this study indicate that the use of video animation instructional media consists of two stages, namely preparation and implementation. The preparation stage is the initial activity carried out before the video application stage. These stages include analyzing the material and learning objectives, identifying the contents of the animated video, and discussing with a group of friends about the video to be selected. Meanwhile, at the implementation stage, the animated video was shared in the Whatsapp group. So that children can still learn to use animated video media during the pandemic. This video helps increase children's enthusiasm for learning while at home. By listening to animated video shows, children can improve their cognitive abilities, namely memorizing prayers fluently.

This study is based on the existence of learning activities that are less responsive to various individual characteristics. To meet these demands, teachers need to understand students' characteristic. If the teacher in delivering the lesson material less attention to the characteristics of the students and the personality traits of students is not used as a foothold in learning, students will have difficulty understanding the subject matter. Whatever efforts are chosen and performed by the teacher and the lesson designer if they are not based on individual characteristics of the student as subject of learning, then the developed learning will not be meaningful for the students. Characteristics of students is very important to know by educators, because it is very important to be a reference in formulating learning strategies. Learning strategy is developed by teachers and implemented through learning methods to the students so that the learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation in SDN Cikokol 2.

This study examines the meaning of symbols and interpretations of local wisdom in ma’nene’ rituals in the Baruppu community of North Toraja Regency using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data regarding words and behavior in rituals were obtained through interview techniques, note-taking, recording, and documentation in the form of photos and videos. Data analysis used Pierce's semiotic theory. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the ma’nene’ ritual is divided into two stages, namely: 1) Preparation (a) Ma'kongan ada', (b) Kapenomban pa'paranduk, (c) Manta'da, (d) Ma' pakande ada', (e) Umpasun bombongan; and 2) Implementation of (a) Ma'bungka', (b) Ma'kassa'i, (c) Massomba tedong, (d) Manglokko tedong sola bai, (e) Ma'pakande nene', (f) Mantutu', (g) Capenomban pa'paupu'. In carrying out the ritual, there are various symbols, including: (1) Tau-tau, (2) Bombongan, (3) Pangngan, (4) Kain ba'ru, (5) Tedong sola bai, (6) Bo'bo 'sola duku', (7) Punti leaves, (8) Tallang. Based on the semiotic analysis of the symbols in the ritual, several types of local wisdom were found, namely: (a) religious values, (b) brotherhood, and (c) unity.

To form human beings who are religious and have religious values ​​in themselves, directed education is needed. An educational institution should introduce and instill monotheism or faith to students as the initial foundation before students get to know many other disciplines. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing Islamic religious education in building religious values ​​for students at SD IT Al Istiqamah Puri Kosambi Karawang. This research is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious education in building religious values ​​in the SD IT Al Istiqamah Puri Kosambi environment is carried out well and effectively by applying it in daily activities such as getting used to saying greetings, shaking hands, polite in speaking, polite in attitude, and mutual respect both with teachers and fellow friends. In addition, intra-curricular learning activities are also carried out centered on students and maximized on aspects of conceptual and illustration material and contextual examples.

Questioning is a primary part of student learning activities. Questioning activity is asking factual or hypothesis question that begin with guidance from teacher until the student understand themselves and become habitual activity.This research aims to describe Student Questioning Ability in Environment is Our Friend Theme of Environmental Conservation Movement Sub Theme of Thematic Subject and describe the obstacle experienced by the student of 5th Grade 60 Bengkulu City Elementary School year 2019/2020. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive approach, that is why this research emphasize the processes rather than results. Subjects in this research are 18 students of 5th Grade 60 Bengkulu City using observation and interview sheet instruments. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation.The result of this research is there are 7 students who have fulfill all questioning ability indicator requirements, on the other hand there is one student who only achieve one point from the requirements, two requirements of questioning ability indicators fulfill by 6 students, there are two students who can’t fulfill any requirement of questioning ability indicators. Obstacles experienced by students have not been able to use Indonesian language correctly, lack focus in asking, lack of confidence, afraid of being wrong, embarrassed when laughed by their friend and unable to raising the voice so the question can reach the entire class. Conclusion of the research is every student student of 5th Grade 60 Bengkulu City have different questioning ability.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of lecture methods in class X introductory subjects administrative office administration department SMK Negeri 1 Parepare. This research uses a type with qualitative descriptive approach. Informants in this study as many as five people. Data collection is done through interview technique, observation, and documentation. The results showed that. Teachers have applied the learning process such as, doing the preparation stage of learning well, performing the implementation phase starting from the opening step until the presentation step has been done optimally, and the last to do the ending stage by giving opportunity to the students to conclude the material taught and doing evaluation to students has been done quite effectively. So the use of lecture methods in class X introductory subjects administrative office administration department of SMK Negeri 1 Parepare run effectively.

This study examines the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) strategy carried out by Ustadh Al-Ghozali in marketing the red ginger products. IMC strategy plays an important role in the advancement and development of the Home industry. The purpose of this study was to identify the IMC strategy proposed by Al-Ghozali in marketing the red ginger products and to teach this research using a qualitative-descriptive approach with a Marketing Mix theory perspective. The results of this study describe that the IMC strategy carried out by Al-Ghozali includes two stages, namely planning and implementation. In these two stages he employs a strategy of advertising, direct marketing, direct promotion, personal selling, and public relations. The factors that support the success of the IMC strategy are the role of social media and the involvement of resellers. IMC strategy is implemented optimally. The quality of education depends on competence of teachers in managing learning. Improving the quality of learning in class can improve the quality of education. Research conducted using classroom action research with  qualitative descriptive approach thats aims to find out and describe the application of the ARIAS learning model in improving students' cognitive abilities. Subjects in the study were teachers and all students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. The instruments used in the research were questionnaires, observation sheets, cognitive ability tests and documentation studies. Based on the treatment given by the teacher for three cycles, it was found that the average cognitive chemical ability of students in the first cycle was 69,66. In the second and third cycles, the average chemical cognitive abilities of students were 78,84 and 84.35. Meanwhile, the percentage of learning mastery obtained in the first, second and third cycles were 52,63%, 73,68%, and 86,84%. Based on the research and data analysis conducted, it is known that the ARIAS learning model can improve students' cognitive abilities. Besides that, it can develop students' self-confidence and enthusiasm in learning chemistry.

<p>One Village One Product (OVOP) is one of the programs initiated by the government in order to improve rural welfare and equality through empowering MSMEs. The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of the development of OVOP in the metal industry MSMEs in the Hadipolo, Jekulo Kudus. This research is a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique starts from reducing data to concluding. The parameters of OVOP-based empowerment analysis include objectives, initiators, parties involved, sources of funding, implementation stage, form of participation in determining products, designs, forms of assistance and marketing channels. The results of the study show that all of these parameters have been running but have not reached the maximum, efforts need to be made to improve.</p>

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) muatan jenis materi; (2) muatan pendekatan saintifik; dan (3) muatan penilaian otentik dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Wahana Pengetahuan Kelas VII Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif jenis analisis dokumen. Sumber data penelitian adalah buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Wahana Pengetahuan untuk Kelas VII Kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi terbitan Kemendikbud. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pembacaan dan pencatatan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah divalidasi berupa panduan analisis dokumen. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan muatan materi, aspek keterampilan lebih mendominasi daripada aspek sikap dan pengetahuan. Hal ini menunjukkan buku teks tersebut belum memenuhi tuntutan Kurikulum 2013 yang menginginkan adanya keseimbangan antara ketiga aspek tersebut, (2) berdasarkan muatan pendekatan saintifik, muatan langkah mencoba merupakan kegiatan yang paling sering ditemukan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang terdapat dalam buku teks. Hal ini menunjukkan� buku teks tersebut meminta siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan dari Kurikulum 2013, dan (3) berdasarkan muatan penilaian otentik, penilaian keterampilan lebih mendominasi daripada penilaian sikap dan pengetahuan. Penilaian kompetensi sikap belum terpenuhi dengan baik, dengan hanya ditemukannya satu teknik penilaian sikap berupa teknik penilaian diri.KATA KUNCI: materi, pendekatan saintifik, penilaian otentik, Kurikulum 2013.��ABSTRACT: The research aimed to describe: (1) material type content; (2) scientific approach content; and (3) authentic assessment content in the Bahasa Indonesia Wahana Pengetahuan textbook for the 7th grade students with Curriculum of 2013. This research used qualitative descriptive approach with the type of document analysis. The data source in this research was Bahasa Indonesia textbook for the 7th grade students with curriculum of 2013 revised edition published by Kemendikbud. The data of the research was collected by writing and recording with instrument that had been validated. The research data was analyzed by using Miles and Huberman interactive analysis, which included reduction, display, and verivication. The result of the research showed that (1) based on materials content, skills content was more dominating than materials content of attitudes and knowledge. It means that the textbook has not fulfilled the standard of Curriculum 2013 which should have the equilibrium from the three aspects above, (2) based on scientific approach, step content was frequently found in textbook�s learning activities. It means that the textbook ask the students to be active in the learning based on Curriculum of 2013, and �(3) based on authentic assesment content, skills assessment was more dominating than assessment content of attitudes and knowledge. Competence attitudes assessment has not fulfilled well, it was found with the only one technique assessment attitudes that is self assessment technique.KEYWORDS: materials, scientific approach, authentic assessment, Curriculum of 2013.

Abstract: This study aims to describe the profile of disciplinary character habituation and aspects of discipline character education for grade 5 at SDN Negla. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects, namely grade 5 students at SDN Negla with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that the profile of disciplinary character education habituation at SDN Negla has an average score of 54.9 (including the criteria, "Poor"). The aspects of the character of student discipline include time discipline with indicators of obedience to learning activities and adherence to punctuality at school, discipline in enforcing rules with indicators of obedience to school discipline, attitude discipline with indicators of praying when doing activities, saying greetings, shaking hands with elders. , disposing of garbage in its place, getting along well with friends, and the behavior and disciplinary aspects of learning with indicators of the method being taught and classroom management. The results showed that each aspect had a different value. As many as 9.8% of the discipline aspects of time are in sufficient criteria, 24% of disciplinary aspects of enforcing rules are in sufficient criteria, as many as 8.4% of aspects of discipline of learning are in sufficient criteria, and 61.4% are aspects of discipline of attitudes that are in the criteria less. The discipline aspect of students at SD Negeri Negla, with the highest number of disciplinary attitudes as much as 61.4%, is a poor criterion.Keywords: Learning; Discipline Character Education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil pembiasaan karakter disiplin dan aspek pendidikan karakter disiplin kelas 5 di SDN Negla. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 5 di SDN Negla dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawanara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa profil pembiasaan pendidikan karakter disiplin di SDN Negla memiliki nilai rata-rata 54,9 (termasuk kriteria, “Kurang”). Adapun aspek karakter disiplin siswa  meliputi kedisiplinan waktu dengan indikator ketaatan terhadap kegiatan belajar dan ketaatan terhadap ketepatan waktu di sekolah, kedisiplinan menegakan aturan  dengan indikator ketaatan terhadap tata tertib di sekolah, kedisiplinan sikap dengan indikator berdoa ketika beraktifitas, mengucapkan salam, bersalaman dengan yang lebih tua, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, rukun bersama teman, dan  perilaku serta aspek kedisiplinan pembelajaran  dengan indikator metoda yang diajarkan dan pengelolaan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masing – masing aspek memiliki nilai yang berbeda. Sebanyak 9,8% aspek kedisiplinan waktu berada dalam kriteria cukup, sebanyak 24% aspek kedisiplinan menegakan aturan berada dalam ktiteria cukup, sebanyak 8,4% aspek kedisiplinan pembelajaran berada dalam kriteria cukup, dan 61,4% merupakan aspek kedisiplinan sikap berada dalam kriteria kurang. Aspek kedisiplinan siswa di SD Negeri Negla yang jumlahnya paling banyak adalah kedisiplinan sikap sebanyak 61,4% merupakan kriteria kurang.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran; Pendidikan Karakter Disiplin.
