The article is devoted to one of the problems of foreign language education – the definition of the role of interpretation in preparing students of special (language) directions to participate in the dialogue of cultures. Interpretation is considered as a phenomenon and as a way of comprehending reality, which allows the subjects of the dialogue of cultures to reach mutual understanding. The main characteristic of interpretation, which is necessary for the purposes of foreign language education, is its psychological character. It is determined by the psychology of the author, the psychology of the work, as well as the psychology of the reader-interpreter. It is proved that the interpretation of a work of art, which has universal, historical and personal plans, has huge epistemological and axiological possibilities. They activate the entire educational potential of interperetation (educational, developmental, cognitive, and educational). Russian Russian poet A. A. Fet (1820–1892) uses the poem “Wir saßen am Fischerhaus” by the famous German poet and publicist Heinrich Hein (1797–1856) and the translation of this poem into Russian to illustrate the interpretation technology. The poem is considered as a space of personal meanings of the author. They are the ones that are subject to interpretation and bring the reader-interpreter back from the poet's world to the modern real world. And the real world is full of unexpected cultural facts, closely related to the content of the work of G. Heine, with distant Lapland and the life of modern lapps. Thus, interpretation is presented as an educational strategy. Together with the strategies of contextualization, philologization and argumentation, it ensures the achievement of the main goal of foreign language education – the creation of an individual who can act as a genuine subject of the dialogue of cultures. The article also emphasizes the importance of the teacher as the organizer of the educational process and the subject of the dialogue of cultures.

The main aim of this chapter is to describe the organizational and methodological foundations of professional education for public servants using modern educational methods. Its scientific novelty is in the description of teaching a foreign language to students of specialities in public administration. It has a character of theoretical representation of the existing methods of teaching a foreign language to students specializing in public administration in Ukraine. It is concluded that foreign language teaching in the process of training public servants is not a key subject, but it does not solve the problem of the need to master it. In this connection, teachers have to highlight certain aspects in the methodology so that professional training coincides with the native language. It is necessary to pay attention to the general language training, and only then introduce professional vocabulary. The relevance of this research is to share an existing experience with colleagues from other countries.

Relevant for the introduction of training programs in a foreign language in specialized disciplines in non-linguistic universities into the educational process is the process of preparation and planning by teachers of classes in the relevant disciplines. It is necessary to identify priorities, taking into account the study of these disciplines in the framework of the basic methodology, defined by many years of experience. The article focuses on the features of teaching the main core discipline of a specialty of architectural design in a foreign language. In this case, a foreign language acts as a means of increasing professional competence and personal and professional development of both teachers and students. In order to achieve a high quality education comparable to European, it is necessary to actively introduce new teaching technologies. Innovative technologies of teaching foreign languages in a non-linguistic university include a combination of traditional and intensive teaching methods, the development of a holistic system of teaching students how to speak language on professional topics, taking into account professional training, and the development of common assessment criteria. Without the synchronization and interconnection of the work of foreign language departments and disciplines in the profile of the training, it is impossible to master professional foreign language vocabulary, develop skills in all types of speech activity, and reading and translating texts in the specialty. Foreign language training in a specialized discipline contributes to the achievement of a number of goals: obtaining skills and competencies necessary for employment, the opportunity to participate in integration activities, developing a lifelong learning culture, countering social exclusion, and promoting an active citizenship.

Information warfare is a challenge of modern society, concealing a huge destructive potential, which is no longer possible to ignore. The purpose of this research is to show the need, relevance and prospects for the study of the pedagogical aspects of the multifaceted, multi-level interdisciplinary problem of information warfare, which remains insufficiently developed and requires close attention of educational researchers. Among the spectrum of pedagogical aspects, we consider educational ones related to the formation of the readiness of military universities’ cadets for information warfare; use axiological, personality-active and hermeneutic methodological approaches and the principles corresponding to them. The presented results have scientific novelty, since they reveal the possibilities of improving the professional training of future officers of the Russian Army through the formation of their readiness for information warfare, these especially relevant and significant possibilities are not reflected in Russian psychological and pedagogical literature. We specify the key concepts necessary to study the role of education in the formation of the readiness of military universities’ cadets for informational warfare, shows methodological approaches and principles of the research, present a brief description of the technology of cadets' education, the implementation of which makes it possible to increase the efficiency of formation of such readiness. The practical significance of the research of the mentioned problem’s aspects and its results is determined by the opportunities that open up by the implementation of the educational technology for forming cadets' readiness for modern information warfare. Prospects for further research of the problem are associated, among other things, with the development of the pedagogical aspects related to the formation of an integral personality of a future officer in the educational process of military universities, and with the study of the readiness of military personnel for informational warfare as an interdisciplinary problem.
