The article analyzes the history of the development of military-technical cooperation between Ukraine and NATO as one of the defining areas of international military partnership. Taking into account specific historical circumstances and external aggression by the Russian Federation, the importance of Ukraine’s military-technical cooperation with partner countries for the implementation of political goals and objectives of the state for the development of defense industry and national security is emphasized. Ukraine faced new types of threats in all spheres of the state’s life, in the military in particular, which required active assistance from partner countries. The realities of the hybrid war, which has targeted our country, require new approaches to ensuring the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including by strengthening military partnerships with the European Union and the United States. In modern geopolitical, socio-economic, international legal, military-political conditions, the nature, forms and directions of Ukraine’s military partnership need to be rethought and clarified. Today, Ukraine’s military cooperation with NATO is of a strategic nature, the tasks of which can be grouped into four key areas: maintaining military-political dialogue; assistance in reforming and developing the Armed Forces of Ukraine; ensuring contribution to international security and peacekeeping; defense and technical cooperation. As a result of this study, NATO membership will open new opportunities for Ukraine’s competitive defense industries and lay the foundation for military-technical cooperation at the international level. In this context, the myth that Ukraine’s accession to NATO will involve the collapse of Ukraine’s defense industry through the introduction of new NATO military standards, requirements for rearmament for our army is completely eliminated.

The essence and main characteristics of the hybrid war are reviewed as a means of destroying the enemy country from inside due to the effective combination of conventional armed forces, subversion, propaganda, and dissemination of misinformation. The hybrid tactics used by the Russian Federation in Ukraine and Georgia are investigated. A comparativeanalysisof the military component in the confrontation between Russia, Ukraine and Georgia is conducted, the peculiarities of informational and psychological confrontation and factors that led to the significant achievements of the Russian side in the hybrid warfare are revealed, economic aspect of the hybrid confrontation are clarified (especially regarding the factors of financial, energy and raw material dependence) and, finally, the key conditions for the widespread use of hybrid methods of confrontation during modern armed conflicts are identified. Thedifference is proved between conflicts in Georgia and Ukraine, mainly in the use of military means. It is established that the conditions for the conflict in Crimea were unique, or at least extremely rare, and they can hardly be reproduced in any other place. It is noted that in the future, hybrid war will become rather a situational phenomenon, because the implementation of aggressive actions against another state without the necessary conditions for it will lead either to a quick defeat of the aggressor state, or will force such a state to move toconventional warfare, which requires significant financial costs and inevitably will cause decline in the prestige of such a state within the international community.

AbstractThe history of humanity got from the Persians the first imperial organization, the first process of integration of the conquered ones, the first postal service, the most effective means of communication at the dawn of Antiquity, and also the best organized militarized services. The most special of the Indo-European Antiquity troops was the Royal Guard, founded by Darius I, one of the great kings of humanity, a political titan, and equally an extraordinary general through his institutional creations of force. The Royal Guard of Darius I, known in history as the 10,000 immortals, is the subject of our study, as it is one of the most complex special militarized structures in human history of all time, inspiring the military structures of all the Indo-Europeans, whether the Hoplite revolution, the organization of the Macedonian phalanx or the Roman Praetorian Guard and more than that. The 10,000 immortals combined not only the heroic character (while multiplying it), which appeared for the first time with the Greeks of the Homeric period, but also strict discipline, in the Spartan sense, contemporary with this troop, the organization and the well-developed logistics, which would inspire the Roman army, the military brotherhoods characteristic of all the Indo-Europeans, but this totally special troop, in particular, imposed the model of the educated (even intellectual) military man, a soldier of the supreme god of the Good, faithful first of all to the Good and to his king, a military man who used all the weapons of the time. This special troop was a true institution that also provided information to the Persian king, information being one of the most effective weapons. Moreover, the Persians through this Royal Guard used for the first time psychological impact as a weapon, this being the first case of effective manipulation by the number that was kept constant, but also by name. Only the gods were immortal, and the very large number of soldiers who made up this special troop is impressive even today. The armament of this extraordinary troop comprised all the weapons of the time, the bow above all, which the Aryans considered the favourite weapon of Indra, the most warlike god of the Indo-European gods.

The military-pedagogical process is a complex socio-psychological phenomenon. Its essence lies in purposeful, motivated, substantive organizational and educational activities of all its subjects. This activity is aimed at preparing the military specialists who are able to successfully perform their functional duties both in peacetime and in modern war conditions. The strength of the country's defense capability and combat readiness in modern conditions is ensured by a high level of intellectual potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This potential is being formed as a set of potentials of highly qualified personnel of military specialists. Today the task of reforming military education is not limited only to structural and functional transformations of the educational base and restructuring of the educational process. It is necessary to create an environment (a system of higher military education) for constant spiritual and professional improvement of the individual and motivation to achieve a high level of military professionalism. Access of educational institutions to modern information technologies contributed to the emergence of interactive forms of learning and transformation of the subject of learning from a passive participant and its active involvement in the learning process. Given the development of digital technologies and the difficult state in which Ukraine found itself due to military action and the negative epidemiological situation, it is appropriate to create a system of higher military education using the subject-activity approach and the introduction of forms of distance learning. It is proposed to direct the military-pedagogical training of specialists along six lines. The assessment of the level of conformity of a serviceman's actual professional qualities with the requirements to the occupied military position is important in the professional-psychological selection in the Armed Forces. That is why it is expedient to develop a model of recreation of intellectual potential of servicemen and a methodology for evaluating the general level of intellectual resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the basis of construction of such model it is offered to put directions of military-pedagogical training of military specialists together with professionally important criteria of evaluation of recreating of moral-psychological qualities of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A characteristic feature of modern forms of use of the Armed Forces (AF) is the high dynamism of combat operations, and the main trend in the development of AF command and control systems (CCS) is the integration of various systems of communication, navigation, reconnaissance, information acquisition and processing, weapons, intelligent systems, automation of all formal and fast-moving processes. Geo-information systems (GIS), geo-information technologies (GIT), GPS and Earth remote sensing (ERS) technologies have become de facto a necessary technology for obtaining and processing spatial data in both civil and military spheres. The use of GIS for military purposes (MP) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will make it possible to conduct a qualitative analysis of spatial and attributive information, take effective management decisions, visualize the combat zone of both individual units and subunits, and the entire theater of operations, promptly display any changes in the combat situation, automate the process of updating maps, determining the coordinates of the desired objects, navigation, etc. It allows you to reduce the likelihood of errors and flaws, increase the speed of creating maps, speed up the processing of information and significantly improve the quality of decision-making by commanders of different levels and echelons who are involved in the process of making certain decisions, and ensure the same initial picture of fighting activities; support of knowledge of the military-object situation at the tactical, operational-tactical and operational levels; to ensure prompt delivery of information to interested authorized users.

The article is devoted to the definition of the basic principles of creating a visual message, the adherence to which contributes to the effectiveness of its influence on the target audience. In the context of Russia's hybrid war against Ukraine, counter-terrorism issues are more urgent than ever. In light of world research in psychology, the effectiveness of perceiving information depends, in particular, on the dominant channel of perception (audio, visual, kinesthetic). However, the results of a number of psychological experiments in the field of visual perception have shown that it is better to understand, memorize and reproduce the information we receive through our visual channels. Modern research of social problems leads to understanding - the world has become visual. Man of our time is under constant influence of visual content. So reporting to the consciousness of the necessary information effectively through this channel. Thus, the very visual message is an effective tool for counterpropaganda and for informing the population in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The result of the research is based on the study of the peculiarities of the visual perception of information about the world and, related to this, the possibilities of using two-dimensional space in the interests of creating products of psychological influence. In addition, an analysis was conducted of the psychological effect of color on the human subconscious, the emotiogenic structure of color combinations, the psychological effects of symbolic coding of information, general rules of composition, examples of successful graphic marketing. In forming practical recommendations for the implementation of the proposed principles, general publishing approaches to the creation of printed visual products, the technological features of different types of media, the effectiveness of distribution channels for products of psychological influence and the results of the analysis of the target audience were taken into account.
