Pandemi Covid-19 telah berlangsung selama 1 tahun. Sejak saat itu, proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pun mengalami perubahan. Proses belajar Dalam Jaringan  (Daring) menjadi solusi dari pemerintah untuk menekan angka penyebaran dari virus tersebut. Akan tetap pada praktiknya, guru, murid serta orang tua khususnya merasa kewalahan dalam melaksanakan proses Daring tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam proses belajar Daring di masa Covid-19 serta faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran daring bagi anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan menggunakan analisa kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 10 orang tua (3 ayah dan 7 ibu). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran ekstra selama masa pandemi berlangsung. Adapun peran orang tua dalam proses belajar daring antara lain mengawasi anak selama menggunakan gadget, mendampingi anak mengerjakan tugas sekolah, menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan anak, memberikan edukasi serta menciptakan lingkungan bersih aman dan nyaman bagi anak.   Kata Kunci : Peran Orang Tua; Masa Pandemi Covid-19;   ABSTRACT   The Covid-19 pandemic has been going on for 1 year. Since then, the teaching and learning process has changed. The online learning process is a solution from the government to reduce the spread of the virus. However, in practice, teachers, students and parents in particular feel overwhelmed in carrying out the Online process. This study aims to determine the role of parents in the online learning process during the Covid-19 period and the factors that influence online learning for children. This research uses case study method using descriptive qualitative analysis. This research was conducted to 10 parents (3 fathers and 7 mothers). The results show that parents have an extra role during the pandemic. The role of parents in the online learning process includes supervising children while using gadgets, assisting children with school assignments, establishing good communication with children, providing education and creating a clean, safe and comfortable environment for children.   Keywords : The Role of Parents; The Covid-19 Pandemi Period;

Abstract   This study describes the role of parents in increasing children's learning motivation at MI Ma'arif NU 01 Sokanegara Purbalingga. This study used a descriptive survey research method. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of the parents of MI Ma'arif NU 01 Sokanegara students, Purbalingga. The sample in this study were 10 respondents who were conducted in February 2021. To obtain data, researchers used interview and observation methods. As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world has had many impacts in various fields of human life, including education. Likewise in our country, Indonesia. Since the Covid-19 pandemic occurred in early 2020, the government immediately took a system change policy in the delivery of education. So far, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities were carried out directly and centered on schools. Now, in the Covid-19 pandemic season, distance learning has been chosen as the best alternative for students to take. In the implementation of distance learning (PJJ) via online or online, students learn independently from their respective homes, teachers deliver learning materials, provide learning assignments through online learning media. To achieve the success of online learning, of course, requires good participation and cooperation between the school / teacher, students, and parents. The role of parents to motivate children's interest in learning is needed. From the results of the research, the roles played by parents as motivators for children include giving attention, affection, learning facilities, praise, gifts, rewards, and punishments.   Keywords: parents, motivation to learn, children, the Covid-19 pandemic   Abstrak   Penelitian  ini mendeskripsikan tentang peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak di MI Ma’arif NU 01 Sokanegara Purbalingga.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria orang tua siswa MI Ma’arif NU 01 Sokanegara Purbalingga. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 10 responden yang dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2021. Untuk memperoleh data, peneliti menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi. Sebagaimana yang telah kita ketahui bersama bahwa pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda dunia, berdampak banyak di berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, tak terkecuali bidang pendidikan. Demikian pula di negara kita, Indonesia. Sejak terjadi pandemi Covid-19 pada awal tahun 2020, pemerintah segera mengambil kebijakan perubahan sistem pada penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Selama ini, sebelum terjadi pandemi Covid-19, kegiatan belajar mengajar dilaksanakan secara langsung dan berpusat di sekolah-sekolah. Kini, di musim pandemi Covid-19, pembelajaran jarak jauh dipilih sebagai alternatif terbaik yang harus ditempuh oleh para siswa. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ)  via online atau daring, siswa belajar secara mandiri dari rumah masing-masing, guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, memberikan tugas-tugas belajar melalui media pembelajaran daring. Untuk mencapai keberhasilan pembelajaran daring ini tentu membutuhkan peran serta dan kerjasama yang baik antara pihak sekolah/guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Peran orang tua untuk memotivasi minat belajar anak sangat dibutuhkan. Dari hasil penelitian, peran yang  dilakukan oleh orang tua sebagai motivator untuk  anak diantaranya adalah memberikan perhatian, kasih sayang, fasilitas belajar, pujian, hadiah, penghargaan, dan hukuman. In 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic has become a global problem and has an impact on all aspects of life, including education. The learning process in all educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the educational institutions affected by this pandemic is the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). The Covid-19 pandemic made the government try to suppress the spread of Covid-19, with that the government issued a policy to all educational institutions to close, then switched to Distance Learning (PJJ) and Learning From Home (BDR). Many of the educational institutions carry out an online learning process (online), but not all levels of society are able to adapt to the online learning process, especially those in rural areas. So this research aims to obtain information about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the learning process at TPQ. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. In this study, 5 respondents were selected, namely TPQ teachers in Kutelintang Village, Blangkejeren District, Gayo Lues Regency. The results of this study obtained information that the learning process at TPQ took place face-to-face, and generally the learning process at TPQ was less effective because there were too many holidays. So that it has an impact on students, teachers and parents. In addition, TPQ also played an important role in disseminating the Covid-19 pandemic to students.

Online learning is distance learning that utilizes telecommunications and information technology. Online is used as a learning model during the corona pandemic to anticipate the spread of the Covid-19. In the learning process this is less effective because there is still a lack of parental roles in mentoring, supervising and motivating children while attending school from home. Parents are the first and foremost educators in the family environment. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of parents in online learning at SMA Respati Jakarta and what obstacles were encountered in assisting children during learning. The research used is a qualitative descriptive study. data collection was done through filling out online questionnaires via google form, and interviews. The results showed that parents play a very important role in the teaching and learning process during learning from home. Where parents act as motivators, facilitators in accompanying and teaching materials that have not been maximally delivered by teachers due to limitations during this pandemic.

Attitude is essential issue to be considered in designing an appropriate learning for learners because it greatly affects the performance and implementation of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. One of the most important attitudes to be explored is the willingness of teachers to implement the curriculum set by the government. This study aims to determine the willingness of English teachers to carry out scientific approach and also to know the implementation of scientific approach in the learning. This research applies qualitative approach with case study design. It is conducted in SMAN 1 Situbondo with three teachers become the informants. Interview and observation are implemented to explore the willingness and the implementation of Scientific Approach. Data analysis in this research using Spradley’s method. From this research, it can be seen that the teachers has enough willingness to apply scientific approach totally. Furthermore, the implementation of scientific approach has been implemented well enough and has implemented it in accordance with government regulation.

Covid-19 virus has an impact on various field, one which is in education field, so that the Indonesian Goverment made a policy of replacing face to face learning with distance learning or known as online learning. In online learning, parents have a double role as a parent and as a teacher for children in accompany childrend in online learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Lack of understanding of the importance of accompanying children to learn during online learning causes parents to pay less attention to their role in accompanying children during online learning. The aim of this reasearch is to know the role of parents to accompanying children in online learning during Covid-19 pandemic. The research use qualitative methods with case study research type. This research was conducted in Temulus Village, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency, with 5 parents and 5 children who attend 1 Temulus Elemantary School, who living around in environment researcher. Data collection techiques in this research was observation, interviews and documentation.  This research use descriptive qualitative data analysis with triangulation methods as a validity test. The step of data analysis is reduction, presentation of data, and conclusions. The result of the role of parents in online learning during th eCovid-19 pandemic is a.) the role  as caregivers and educators; b) the role as mentors; c) the role as motivators; d) the role as facilitators. Therefore, parents should provide time and attention in accompanying children to leaen during online learning.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has spread throughout the country has made the government decide teaching and learning activities to be carried out boldly (online). Learning makes students bored and eventually lazy to learn. Researchers are trying to create new breakthroughs to increase student learning motivation to increase, namely by utilizing interactive learning media based on kahoot in brave learning. This study uses a literature review method where the data obtained from research comes from articles or journals that are relevant to the topic, or other people's research results are then analyzed again to draw a conclusion. The results of this research kahoot interactive media can be used in bold learning because of its easy use and includes a link or website so that it can be accessed by students. This interactive media also makes students not easily bored in the learning process. Learning that increases in fun can make students' learning motivation, this is because students do not feel bored easily when learning takes place, so students feel motivated and feel comfortable when learning using Kahoot media.

This research is aiming at scrutinizing the socio-affective strategies used by students in speaking class at SMP Ma’arif 1 Ponorogo. This research employed qualitative approach, and the design was case study was conducted on the Eighth Grade B class of SMP Ma’arif 1 Ponorogo, and focused on the description of using socio-affective strategies in teaching speaking at the Eighth Grade B class of SMP Ma’arif 1 Ponorogo. The data in this research is collected through interview, observation, reviewing the documents. The data were analyzed by using data Mattew B Miles and Michael Hubberman’s view of data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of this research revealed that (1) the implementation of socio-affective starategies is devided into three activities namely; Pre activities, main activities, and the last activities. In pre activities there are two activities, greeting and apperception. In main activities, teacher applied “socio-affective stratgies. The findings that. In the last activities the teacher gave an evaluation and motivation. In evaluation activity a teaching and learning process need to be evaluated. (2) Those the role of the teacher is as follow in supporting the implementation of socio-affective strategies at Eighth Grade B Class of SMP Maarif 1 Ponorogo is very important because as a teacher holds an important position in the learning process. The roles teachers play in English Language Teaching (ELT)  field are mostly of an assessor, organizer, facilitator, prompter, motivator, participant, monitor, model, etc.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a fundamental impact on various aspects of humanity. Starting from attacking health, this pandemic has hit the education sector which is quite influential on human life. Enforcement of regulations while maintaining a distance of about one meter has implications for the education process in Indonesia. Therefore, the educational element must encourage the distance learning process. The term arises because it sees distance learning as an alternative to face-to-face methods so that education can always be held without controversy under any circumstances. This activity raises the use of technology that is used as teaching material for distance education. Distance learning techniques allow users to take advantage of technologies such as online learning. Teachers will be required to abandon using traditional techniques whose methods are somewhat indifferent. Online learning creates internet connectivity and the use of information technology in helping the teaching and learning process that can be applied in Google Classroom. In this article, researchers focus on using Google Classroom in the context of implementing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This paper aims to reveal factors that affect the students' participation in a speaking online class. The subjects are the second and fourth semester students of English department, Language and Culture Faculty, UNTAG Semarang. The research was held during the even semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data was based on the interview and the questionnaires filled by the students. Some technical issues came up in the online class such as internet connection which mostly became the hottest issue and also the device being used which was sometimes not compatible to the program used in the teaching and learning process. Those issues somehow have affected the online teaching and learning process. The other issues affected in online learning are students’ contribution and students’ condition. For those, it is hoped that the research will give a clearer explanation especially for the teachers who are struggling on teaching the online class and face a similar situation. This research starts from the problems that appeared in Citizenship Education learning process which is recognized by lack of students’ activeness and low of courage level in expressing students’ opinions. The indication of lack the courage in expressing students’ opinions can be seen from the low of students’ activeness in learning process. Teachers have the most strategic role in learning process. The teachers Strategic role in learning process have the impact on students' competencies (knowledge, attitudes, skills). The competence of students’ will develop optimally depending on how teachers place them selves and students’ in teaching learning process. Based on the background above, the identification of this research formulation is how the teaching and learning of Citizenship Education can play an important role in improving the courage for the students’ to be able express opinions during the teaching-learning process easily. This research was conducted by the purpose to know how the Citizenship Education can play an important role in improving the courage to express students opinions in teaching-learning process. To achieve the objectives conducted qualitative research on the case study method of learning Citizenship Educationin at Vocational High School Pasundan I Serang City. Data collecting technique that used were observation, interview and documentation. From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that Citizenship Education in improving the courage express students opinions is able to change the situations of learning centere on teachers become students active role in achieving the learning objectives. Based on the findings of this research, it can be argued that the Citizenship Education in improving the courage to express students opinion have the potential to participate actively in the learning process and collaboration in a heterogeneous group.Keywords: learning, Citizenships Education, Courage, Expressing Opinions
