Purpose: on the basis of a review of modern special literature, develop a questionnaire and analyze the attitude of students to physical education. Material and Methods: the study was conducted on the basis of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Human Health, Mariupol State University. The study involved 78 students of the 1st year of study, of which 38 students (Gr. 1) and 40 students (Gr. 2). Everyone was asked to answer the question of the developed questionnaire. Results: despite the fact that only 39% of girls and 52% of boys tolerate physical activity, according to the answers, only 21% of female students and 30% of students attend sports sections 2-3 times a week, the rest consider it sufficient to attend physical education classes at the University. At the same time, 44% of female students and 35% of students suffer from colds 3-4 times a year, which in the future, against the background of a decrease in immunity, can lead to chronic diseases. There is also a tendency towards the abuse of low alcohol drinks. Only 31% of female students and 25% of students are fully satisfied with physical culture at the University. According to many students, physical culture should take into account the interests of the students themselves in the form of sectional classes. Conclusions: there is a problem in the current system of physical education, it is necessary to develop and implement innovative directions for improving the process of physical education.

Self-improvement is especially important component of educational activity of teachers in light recognitions not the subject - object, and the subject - subject interaction of a teacher and a pupil and also the declaration and also the Convention of the UN principles of continuous education (education throughout life) when not only a separate lesson, a semester or even completely study at school / HEI is only a separate fragment, and a person has to “learn to study” during this time. The purpose of the article is in theoretical justification of self-development in the context of forming the future teacher’s pedagogical skills. The main ways of self-improvement of physical culture future teacher is the complex of internal personal requirements (need for physical, intellectual, spiritual, professional self-improvement) which are implemented in concrete types of external and internal (psychological) activity: self-checking, self-organization, self-training, self-education, and so forth. In modern understanding the pedagogical skill is a state and a certain level of personality of a teacher, a dialectical combination of his personal and professional qualities, which allow high-quality achievement of partial and general pedagogical aims. The pedagogical skill - the ability to creatively solve pedagogical problems during physical culture classes, to organize educational process with the involvement of high culture, professional knowledge, physical skills and etc. on the basis of competent, active and personality-oriented approaches, deep pedagogical knowledge, experience, wide outlook, personal culture, creativity and pedagogical tactics in the projection on the personality of physical culture teacher. At the same time the pedagogical skill is the relatively completed process, therefore when diagnosing the level pedagogical skill should be oriented to a teacher’s sufficient level with the corresponding experience.

The purpose of the study is to find out the influence of the motivational component on the training system of physical education students who plan to use health-saving technologies in their professional activities in the physical education of schoolchildren who, for health reasons, belong to special medical groups. Professional education of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher education institutions requires technological changes in physical culture and health work with children and youth, who belong to special medical groups due to their state of health (Prykhoda, 2007). The solution of this direction of training of future specialists in physical education and sports will be more effective if the motivational component of training is applied in the educational process of students. Studies apply the motivational component of learning. Research determines that the use of a motivational component in the training program for future physical education professionals has a much better effect on the learning process of students, mastering the curriculum, self-development, and self-improvement both in higher education and in future professional activities (Dolіnnyj, 2016; Deminska, 2004).
