The main problem in this research is the example of spiritual leaders when shepherding the congregation. Some of the factors that make the pastor not an example are repentance, character, and minimal human resources. This study applies a qualitative method. The researcher uses the Bible as the main source, also uses literature from several sources of books and journals, to get a clear picture of the example of spiritual leaders based on Philippians 2:1-8, which will later be implemented in the leadership of the pastoral congregation of the Pentecostal Church in Tanah Papua (GPDP). Special Mimika Classics. The results of the study show that in Christian leadership, the pastor as the leader of the local congregation can influence the people he leads. Philippians 2:1-8 is Paul's writing that teaches about the example of Jesus Christ as a spiritual leader, which can be seen from principles, ministry, and personality.

AbstractPurworejo is one of the districts in Central Java which is rich in natural and human resources. One of the various regional cultural traditions that is still preserved in Purworejo Regency, precisely in Somongari Village, Kaligesing District is merti-deso or village-cleansing and commonly called Jolenan. This study was dissected using a qualitative method with an ethnographic communication approach. For the deepening of the analysis observations and interviews were conducted with respondents who were involved in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony. The results showed that the communicative situation in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony was walking in a sacred manner. The traditional Jolenan ceremony is a tradition that is carried out every two years on the Javanese calendar, Seloso Wage Day in Sapar Month. Communicative events in Jolenan Traditional Ceremony are traditions that contain myths in them. Broadly speaking, the purpose of the Jolenan Traditional Ceremony is as an expression of gratitude and thanks to Allah SWT for the abundant produce of the earth and also as a tribute to the ancestors of the Sumongari Village, Eyang Kedono-Kedini. In the Jolenan Customary Rite there are ten stages in it namely: environmental cleanliness and tombs, making and decorating Jolen, tirakatan night, festivity of the Rukun Tetangga, installation of offerings, performing arts, welcoming events, Jolen carnival, large festivals, and tayuban. Communicative actions in the Jolenan Customary Ceremony namely regarding the statement of the people of Sumongari Village on the crops given by Allah SWT and the request of the people of Sumongari Village so that the village occupied is always given an abundance of crops continuously.Keywords: Traditional Communication, Jolenan Traditional Ceremony, values, social, religious, symbolic AbstrakPurworejo merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah yang kaya akan sumber daya alam dan manusianya. Satu dari berbagai tradisi kebudayaan daerah yang sampai saat ini masih dilestarikan di Kabupaten Purworejo, tepatnya di Desa Somongari, Kecamatan Kaligesing adalah merti-deso atau bersih-desa dan biasa disebut Jolenan. Penelitian ini dibedah menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi. Untuk pendalaman analisis dilakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan para responden yang berperan dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situasi komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu berjalan dengan sakral. Upacara adat Jolenan merupakan tradisi yang dilakukan setiap dua tahun sekali pada penanggalan Jawa yaitu hari Seloso Wage pada Bulan Sapar. Peristiwa komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan merupakan tradisi yang mengandung mitos di dalamnya. Secara garis besar tujuan dilakukannya Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur dan terima kasih kepada Allah SWT atas hasil bumi yang melimpah dan juga sebagai penghormatan kepada leluhur Desa Sumongari yaitu Eyang Kedono-Kedini. Dalam ritual Upacara Adat Jolenan terdapat sepuluh tahapan di dalamnya yaitu: kebersihan lingkungan dan makam, membuat dan menghias Jolen, malam tirakatan, kenduri Rukun Tetangga, pemasangan sesaji, pentas kesenian, acara sambutan, kirab Jolen, kenduri besar, dan tayuban. Tindak komunikatif dalam Upacara Adat Jolenan yaitu mengenai pernyataan masyarakat Desa Sumongari atas hasil bumi yang diberikan Allah SWT dan permohonan masyarakat Desa Sumongari agar desa yang ditempati selalu diberikan kelimpahan hasil bumi secara terus menerus.Kata kunci: Komunikasi Tradisional, Upacara Adat Jolenan, nilai, sosial, religious, simbiolik

Leadership is a task given by Jesus Christ to Christians through His Church. Leaders are needed by every human being to achieve happiness and prosperity in all fields. Thus the Church has an important role in improving leadership for the spiritual growth of God's congregation because through qualified leaders people can understand correctly how to actually follow God. With this quality leader, people can understand who and for what God created them. Seeing the existence of a congregation that always needs guidance in spiritual growth, and that requires someone who can accompany The congregation is a leader or shepherd who is often referred to as the Pastor of the congregation. And not many Christian ministers or often referred to as Congregational Pastors have these criteria. So that they cannot be an example in the lives of the people they lead. So there are criteria set out in the Bible to become a Christian leader with quality and character. A leader is someone who deserves to be a role model for others because the leader has good character and becomes a leader blessing for the church he leads.

Worship according to the concept of Christianity is God's commandment that must be done by every person who has been redeemed and saved by the Lord Jesus Christ. The purpose of the study is to answer: What is the meaning of worship of believers? What are the elements of worship according to the Bible? How is worship lived in church life? Research using qualitative methods using literature review (library research). The results of the study are: (1) worship truly is a service to God by offering all souls and spirits with various actions and attitudes of respect and adoration, submission, and obedience with a thankful welcome. (2) Worship without doubt is the inner confession of a person who accepts that God is sovereign in power and good. With a series of personal offerings and the offerings of the people, approaching the altar of God by bringing sacrifice. (3) worship lived in church life is Jesus as the subject of worship through hymns, prayers, confessions of sins begging for forgiveness, giving thanks. Church life gives the best offerings to God, body, soul and spirit, which must be accompanied by service to others.AbstrakBeribadah menurut konsep kekristenan adalah perintah Tuhan yang wajib dilakukan oleh setap orang yang sudah di tebus dan diselamatkan oleh Tuhan Yesus Kristus.  Tujuan penelitian adalah menjawab: Apakah makna ibadah persekutuan orang percaya? Apakah unsur-unsur ibadah menurut Alkitab?  Bagaimanakah ibadah dihayati dalam kehidupan bergereja? Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literature (library research). Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) ibadah yang benar adalah  pelayanan kepada Allah dengan mempersembahkan seluruh tubuh jiwa dan roh  dengan aneka tindakan dan sikap penuh hormat dan puja, ketundukan, serta ketaatan dengan penuh ucapan syukur. (2)  unsur-unsur ibadah adalah ungkapan batin seseorang yang mengakui bahwa Allah berdaulat penuh kuasa dan baik. Dengan rangkaian persembahan pribadi maupun persembahan umat, menghampiri mezbah Allah dengan membawa kurban.  (3) ibadah dihayati dalam kehidupan bergereja adalah Yesus sebagai pokok penyembahan melalui nyanyian pujian, doa, pengakuan dosa mohon pengampunan, mengucap syukur. Kehidupan bergereja itu  memberikan persembahan terbaik kepada Tuhan yaitu tubuh, jiwa dan roh, yang harus dibarengi dengan pelayanan kepada sesama.

AbstractLeadership is an integral part of all human civilization because everyone needs a leader. Leader and leadership cannot be separated from one another. Where the purpose of choosing a leader is to influence, admonish, direct the people they lead to the goals they want to achieve. Thus, leadership is more likely to function and not position. The world offers and shapes leaders who are more focused on position and authority. This clearly contradicts the leadership of Jesus Christ in John 13: 1-20. It happens in Christian leadership today. Some of the Christian leaders have not been able to be examples of holiness in life, where they are not willing and able to leave old habits. Sometimes some of the Christian leaders live in enmity, either with the congregation, council or with fellow Christian leaders. Based on the above problems, the author will examine more deeply referring to the title: "Implementation of the Leadership of Jesus Christ According to John 13: 1-20, with the aim and purpose of knowing the relevance of the leadership model of Jesus Christ According to John 13: 1-20 for Christian leadership in the future. now, in order to become a guide in Christian leadership today.Key words: Implementation, Leadership, Jesus Christ, John 13:1-20 Abstrak         Kepemimpinan adalah bagian yang integral dalam sepanjang peradaban manusia karena semua orang membutuhkan pemimpin. Pemimpin dan kepemimpinan tidak dapat dipisahkan satu dengan yang lainnya. Dimana tujuan dipilihnya seorang pemimpin adalah untuk mempengaruhi, menegur, mengarahkan supaya orang-orang yang dipimpinnya sampai kepada tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Dengan demikian kepemimpinan lebih cenderung kepada fungsi dan bukan posisi. Dunia menawarkan dan membentuk para pemimpin yang lebih berfokus kepada posisi dan otoritas. Hal ini jelas bertentangan dengan kepemimpinan Yesus Kristus dalam Yohanes 13:1-20. Hal itu terjadi dalam kepemimpinan Kristen pada masa kini. Sebagian dari pemimpin Kristen belum mampu untuk menjadi teladan dalam kekudusan hidup, dimana mereka belum mau dan mampu untuk meninggalkan kebiasaan lama. Terkadang sebagian dari pemimpin Kristen hidup dalam perseteruan, baik dengan jemaat, majelis maupun dengan sesama pemimpin Kristen. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka penulis akan meneliti lebih dalam merujuk pada judul: “Implementasi Kepemimpinan Yesus Kristus Menurut Yohanes 13:1-20, dengan maksud dan tujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi model kepemimpinan Yesus Kristus Menurut Yohanes 13:1-20 bagi kepemimpinan Kristen masa kini, supaya dapat menjadi pedoman dalam kepemimpinan Kristen masa kini.Kata kunci: Implementasi, Kepemimpinan, Yesus Kristus, Yohanes 13:1-20.

Harmony between the people of religion in Indonesia is not only the responsibility of the government, but it is also the responsibility of all Indonesians to maintain the integrity of the nation by building an attitude of tolerance and tolerance, and harmony among the people themselves. This also applies to Christians in Indonesia, to take part and be active in building harmony between religious communities. The Bible, especially Romans 14: 1-4 provides a good example for Christians to respect and respect one another, and not to humiliate and judge one another, so that inter-religious harmony can be maintained properly. And this is the model of religious moderation that Christian scriptures uphold. This research was written using a descriptive qualitative method using journal and book sources as the main reference. The discussion was carried out by explaining the concept of harmony of religious communities in Indonesia, then briefly describing the concept from a Christian perspective. The analysis, which is a deconstruction, is specifically directed at Romans 14: 1-4 which is in the spirit of harmony both internally and among religious communities within the framework of moderation in Indonesia. Opportunities and challenges according to Indonesian conditions are discussed at the end. The conclusion is that religious harmony according to Romans 14: 1-4, stimulates Christians to further increase religious moderation in Indonesia, which, although different in terms of ethnicity, ethnicity, religion, and RAS, is tolerant and accepts others as they are, makes it less difficult for Christians to judge and humiliate others.

This paper discusses the pandami of COVID-19 in a Pentecostal theology perspective. The current pandemic is causing trouble for everyone, at the same time this epidemic encourages religious people to view and study from a theological point of view how this COVID-19 disease from the perspective of the Bible. This article was written using a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Within the internal of Christianity itself, the various interpretations of COVID-19 can be analyzed from a theological frame. In the perspective of Pentecostal theology, of course this pandemic is believed to be a part of the prophecy of the holy book as well as hinting that we are in an end-time phase, one of which is the epidemic of pestilence today. This pandemic is also within the framework of Pentecostal theology as preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ to earth, for the second time through pestilence as written by the Scriptures. This COVID-19 incident is also a phase in which humans will enter a period of queue for Kris who becomes the ruler and controller of this world. Pandemi yang terjadi saat ini tentu menyebabkan kesulitan bagi siapa saja, sekaligus wabah ini mendorong kaum religius untuk memandang dan mengkaji dari sudut pandang teologis bagaimana penyakit COVID-19 ini dari perspektif Kitab Suci. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Di dalam lingkup internal Kekristenan sendiri, beragam pemaknaan dan penafsiran mengenai COVID-19 ini jika ditelisik dari bingkai teologis. Dalam perspektif teologi Pentakosta, tentu pandemi ini diyakini sebagai bagian dari nubuatan kitab suci sekaligus mengisyaratkan kita berada di fase akhir zaman yang ditandai salah satunya mewabahnya penyakit sampar di masa kini. Pandemi ini juga dalam bingkai teologi Pentakosta sebagai persiapan kedatangan Yesus Kristus ke bumi, untuk kedua kalinya melalui penyakit sampar sebagaimana yang ditulis oleh Kitab Suci. AbstractThe role of reading the Bible is indispensable because the Bible has changed the lives of evil people, people are willing to die for the Bible, the Bible is God's most accurate book, the Bible contains messages of freedom that transform human lives, and connects readers with the person of Jesus Christ as a person. the most important thing in history, that can be trusted by mankind or Christian children so that their spirituality will grow well. This study aims to explain the role of reading the Bible on children's Christian spiritual intelligence. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with the approach of observation and interview methods as primary sources; and documentation as a secondary source. The result of this research is that formal Christian educators actually have to play a proactive role in encouraging Christian children to be more faithful in reading the Bible because the essence of the Bible is able to grow their spiritual intelligence. So Christian children are increasingly motivated to read, listen to God's words, and be active in fellowship with Jesus Christ, so their spirituality will grow better. AbstrakPeranan membaca Alkitab sangat diperlukan karena Alkitab telah mengubah kehidupan manusia yang jahat, orang-orang bersedia mati untuk Alkitab, Alkitab merupakan buku Allah yang paling akurat, Alkitab berisi tentang pesan kebebasan yang mengubahkan hidup manusia, dan menghubungkan para pembaca dengan pribadi Yesus Kristus sebagai sosok terpenting di sepanjang sejarah, yang dapat dipercayai umat manusia atau anak-anak Kristen supaya spiritualitasnya bertumbuh baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peranan membaca Alkitab terhadap kecerdasan spiritual anak Kristen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan metode observasi dan wawancara sebagai sumber primer; serta dokumentasi sebagai sumber sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sesungguhnya pendidik Kristen formal harus berperan proaktif untuk memberi semangat kepada anak-anak Kristen agar semakin setia dalam membaca Alkitab karena esensi dari Alkitab mampu menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritualnya. Jadi anak-anak Kristen semakin diberikan motivasi untuk membaca, mendengarkan firman Tuhan, dan giat dalam persekutuan dengan Yesus Kristus, maka spiritualnya akan semakin bertumbuh baik.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perbandingan kepercayaan masyarakat Talagadi Majalengka dan masyarakat Nagoya di Jepang. Kepercayaan yang dimaksud dalampenelitian ini adalah kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu atau pamali dankepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakat tersebut.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan metode deskripstif kualitatif. Dalam memupudata digunakan metode lapangan karena peneliti terjun langsung ke masyarakat. Disamping itu, digunakan pula metode survey melalui penyebaran daftar kuesioner. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu ataupamali pada masyarakat Talaga dan Nagoya meliputi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh manusia.Adapun kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakattersebut berkaitan dengan binatang, benda, dan kegiatan manusia. Sampai saat ini baikmasyarakat Talaga maupun Nagoya masih memegang teguh kepercayaan tersebut.Kata kunci: kepercayaan, Talaga, Nagoya, deskriptif kualitatif, komparasi budaya.AbstractThe aim of this research is to review the comparison of belief between the society ofTalaga in Majalengka and the society of Nagoya in Japan. The intended belief on this study isthe one related with a taboo or pamali, and the belief correlated to luck on both societies. Inachieving the goal, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method. To get the data, thewriter uses a field method that he (/she) directly involves with the people. On the other hand,the writer also uses a survey method by distributing questioners. The result shows that the beliefcorrelated with the taboo or pamali of Talaga and Nagoya societies covers the activities doneby human. Also with the belief related to luck of both societies corresponds to animals, things,and human’s activities. Until now, either Talaga society or Nagoya’s still keeps those beliefs.Keyword: belief, Talaga, Nagoya, descriptive qualitative, cultural comparison.

Una de las formas de agrupación dentro de los centros de altos estudios, para la gestión de los recursos humanos, que posibiliten el trabajo estratégico, sistémico, humano y eficiente lo constituyen las Facultades Universitarias. El análisis incursiona en algunas reflexiones teóricas sobre la gerencia universitaria por facultades en la actualidad, retomando publicaciones especializadas en dirección empresarial y educativa; así como la experiencia de las autoras en este desempeño. Concluye que la dirección universitaria tiene un valor metodológico significativo al establecer que ésta solo tiene sentido si se relaciona íntimamente y responde al objeto de estudio de la pedagogía, es decir al proceso de formación integral de las personas. ABSTRACT University Faculties constitute one of the ways of grouping within higher education centers for the management of human resources to make strategic, systemic, human and efficient work possible. This analysis involves some theoretical thoughts on university management held by faculties, retaking specialized publications in business and educational management, as well as the experience of more than four decades of the author of this paper. The analysis concludes that university direction has a significant methodological value and it establishes that it makes sense if it is closely related to the object if study of pedagogy, that is, to the people´s integral formation process.
