Various allotropic forms of carbon like carbon nanotubes (CNT’s) can have high mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. Because of this phenomena research results are being conducted worldwide on their possible use in electro-technical and electrical industry, for heat removal applications and in the fields of widely understood mechanical industry. Development method of high quality CNT’s is complex and can be long lasting. Because of those difficulties the production cost is very high and price of obtained CNT’s can reach thousands of euros. High cost of pure CNT’s and graphene is a direct reason for numbers of studies, also conducted in this article, on the synthesis of copper and other forms of carbon like i.e. activated carbon. Authors of this article state that also with the use of activated carbon one can achieve increase of copper mechanical, electrical, and technological properties. In this paper research results on copper and activated carbon (CWZ14) synthesis method are presented along with the research results of electrical, mechanical, rheological and micro-structural properties for obtained composites.

In recent years, there has been increased world-wide concern over residual (carry-over) activity of mostly high temperature (HT) and very high temperature (VHT) stable amylases in white, refined sugars from refineries to various food and end-user industries. HT and VHT stable amylases were developed for much larger markets than the sugar industry with harsher processing conditions. There is an urgent need in the sugar industry to be able to remove or inactivate residual, active amylases either in factory or refinery streams or both. A survey of refineries that used amylase and had activated carbon systems for decolorizing, revealed they did not have any customer complaints for residual amylase. The use of high performance activated carbons to remove residual amylase activity was investigated using a Phadebas® method created for the sugar industry to measure residual amylase in syrups. Ability to remove residual amylase protein was dependent on the surface area of the powdered activated carbons as well as mixing (retention) time. The activated carbon also had the additional benefit of removing color and insoluble starch.

Attention towards CSR issues is very high in Europe and America, but also in countries like China, which have little cultural tradition of it. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the quality and the trend of social reporting in Italy compared with in the USA and China by exploring the indicators disclosed within social reports. The study considered the energy and utilities sector by analysing the quality of social reporting through the indicators disclosed in 2009, 2010 and 2011 reports according to GRI guidelines. The research results show the quality level of social reporting in Italy is higher than that of the USA and China. However the research hypothesis was not confirmed as the quality does not show an increased trend. Chinese companies show opposite results as the quality levels dropping notably between 2009 and 2011.

Water pollution is one of the biggest problems facing us, so it requires the need to develop a very high-efficiency and inexpensive absorbent material from natural surfaces and compare it with expensive commercial sorbents. Where in this study an absorbent substance was prepared from the natural surfaces of Syzgium Aromaticum Flower Bud (SAFB), Nigella Sativa (NS) Converted to activated carbon to activated carbon Activated (SAFB), and Activated (NS), as these surfaces are characterized by high porosity, cheap price and very high efficiency in removing dye. The composite was illustrated via different analysis apparatus included FTIR, and FE-SEM, The adsorption result were fitted with Freundlich isotherms. The experimental kinetic result at different primary reactive green dye concentrations, were also analyzed through first model, second model and Elovich model. The obtained data appear that the model pseudo-first model fits the adsorption kinetic result through R2 0.96028, R2 0.9486, R2 0.9016 and R2 0.9620 of SAFB and ACTIVE-SAFB and Nigella Sativa (NS) and Activated (NS) in the same order.

GaN transistors intended for use at 600–900 V and that are capable of providing of 30–100 A are being introduced this year. These devices have a substantially better switching Figure-of-Merit (FOM) than silicon power switches. Rapid market acceptance is expected leading to compound annual growth rates of 85 %. However these devices present new packaging challenges. Their high speed combined with the very high current being switched demands that very low inductance packaging must be combined with highly controlled drive circuitry. While convention, and the usually vertical power device die structure, has largely determined power transistor package formats in the past, the lateral nature of the today GaN devices requires the use of new package types. The new packages have to operate at high temperatures while providing effective heat removal, low inductance, and low series resistance. Because GaN devices are lateral they require the package metal tracks to be integrated within the on-chip tracks to carry the current away from the thin on-chip metal tracks. The new GaN devices are available in two formats: one for use in embedded modular assemblies and the other for use mounted upon conventional circuit board systems. The package intended for discrete printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies has a top side cooling option that simplifies the thermal interface to the heat sink. The paper describes the die layout including the added copper tracks. The corresponding package elements that interface directly with the surface of the die play a vital role in terms of the current handling. They also provide the interface to the external busbars that allow the package to be mounted within, or on PCB. The assembly has been subject to extensive thermal analysis and the performance of a 30 A, 650 V transistor is described.

Software development methodology refers to a standardised, documented methodology which has been used before on similar projects or one which is used habitually within an choice of software development method, and applying the right method for the job. From this perspective, the portlet development encounters new circumstances which affect the chosen method. A portal development manager must be aware of the technological properties and constraints, because there development and deployment processes. These issues are not well defined yet; there is no proven methodology for driving portal projects. This article provides discussion of practical approaches to the resolution of development issues and risks in portal environment. The discussed topics include implementation of portals in enterprise environment, portlet applications’ high availability, portlet disaster recovery, and cost of portlet deployment. An attempt is made to forecast future trends in portlet technology at the end of the article, as well as suggest the directions for the flexible selection of methodologies and managerial experience suited to the portal development.

The paper analyzes the development level of the brand management at the banks operating on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The aim of the research was to establish to what extent certain elements of brand management are present and whether the brand management decisions are made based on the systematic or the ad hoc approach. The research results indicate that five banks in BiH have a very high level of brand management development. Making brand management related decisions for these banks is based on the systematic approach. It has been established that other banks in BiH have a lower level of brand management development and that for most banks in this group the process of making brand management decisions is characterized by the ad hoc approach.

Waterborne polyurethane (PU) coatings are diluted with water as the medium, without volatile organic solvents and harmful to human body and environment. Adding insulation materials in building individually is a waste of resource. We found a kind of waterborne PU phase change energy storage material easily dissolved and formed film after solvent evaporating having the potential of coating. In this article, we synthesized a new kind of waterborne PU phase change energy storage coating additive via two-step synthesis method, of which a new type of aromatic tetrahydroxycompound (ATTC) is used as branch unit, 4, 4'-diphenylmethanediisocyanate (MDI) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) respectively as hard and soft segments. POM photographs show that the sphaerocrystals of this new coating additive can reach 200-500μm. The crystal structure is characterized by XRD, and the phase change unit is PEG. DSC tests show that the phase change enthalpy value of this coating additive is very high reached more than 90 J/g. The preservation of this water-soluble PU coating is relatively simple, using water as solvent, which can be easy to dissolve in water and form film after water evaporated.

Participation of people are needed to have political participation in the village’s election. Because participation are means for development and proceeded to the political democracy. The subject in this study is “ how participates society in the village elections in the village of Orahili village” and “ Any factor of what drives society can participate in the head of the village election in Orahili village in 2014”. Research results and discussion explains the participation at Orahili village very high participation in the village’s election activities, the first conclution that level of awareness community begins to grow and the second, people are looking for an experienced leader in government to be sure to smister and serve the public without limit.
