The main principle of industrial cooperation - is, first of all, the construction of effective interaction between the costs of production of products and the potential profit from its sale. If the sale of products is unstable or cannot always be allowed to enter the market, there is often a decrease in the activity of the enterprise. At the same time, the production that organizes their activities on the principles of reducing costs and increasing output per unit of costs gets the competitive advantages of the enterprise. This generates a search that is determined by the relevance of scientific research. The novelty of the work is determined by the fact that the article presents aspects of the formation of effective and efficient industrial cooperation based on the integration of production into the global economic environment, focused on increasing competitiveness across the entire world space. With equal energy prices, improving energy efficiency creates an economically competitive product. In scientific work, the author forms a model of energy efficiency and exposes aspects of its use in industry. The practical significance of scientific research is determined by the fact that it allows to form a model of the transition to innovative forms of production based on energy conservation.

The purpose of the article is to report on our own research results and to generalize the socio-economic aspects of assessing trends in modern climatic processes. Research methods. The research is based on the teachings of Aristotle, Vernadsky, Rudenko, Podolinsky, and other foreign and domestic scientists. The main methods of scientific research were as follows: practical experience and scientific developments; observational facts; philosophical search and worldviews; scientific theory; scientific research; empirical scientific work; intuition and generalization; spiritual and religious reflections and beliefs; real scientific and practical facts; data of selection stations and research fields of Ukraine in the period between the second half of the XIX and the first half of the XX century. Research results. The scientific and methodological generalization of socio-economic aspects was carried out, and the estimation of tendencies for development of modern climatic tendencies was conducted with definition of prospects for their influence on development of the agrarian sector of economy. Scientific novelty. The variability of climate change in the process of evolutionary development of mankind and the socio-economic system of its vital activity was proved. Practical significance. AbstractIn the present era of continually increasing energy demand, Europe faces many challenges, such as high and unstable energy prices, growing global energy demand, increasing threat of climate change, sluggish progress within energy efficiency and issues related to increasing demand for the use of renewable energy sources. It is desirable to seek opportunities to use energy consumed most reasonably, thus ensuring continuous improvement of energy efficiency in the industry. The scope of the research includes reviewing studies in this matter and analysing the most beneficial solutions for the plant. The work aims to assess possible undertakings to modernise the energy management of an industrial plant on the example of Bulten Poland S.A. rationally and profitably for the plant. The work contains an analysis of the profitability of the potentially most beneficial solutions in terms of improving the energy efficiency of the plant. Mentioned in the article solutions, aiming increasing energy efficiency, helped become the plant independent within heating up facilities. Total heat recovery potential in amount of 18 965 GJ is motivation for further activities. This is a great opportunity to reduce significantly carbon footprint (replacing lightening into LED technology reduced CO2 by 206.3 Mg/year) and be more competitive on the market by reducing costs of product.

Introduction: the article deals with the methodological problem of the meaning of the goal of civil law research. The author analyzes the dissertation abstracts from the point of view of goal setting, which were completed in different periods of the development of Russian civil law science, identifies the qualitative characteristics of the stages, and proves the connection of the achieved results with the researcher’s knowledge of the methodological methods of goal setting. Purpose: to show the value of goal setting in scientific research in general and in civil research in particular; to consider the relationship of goal setting with the achievement of specific scientific results on the examples of dissertations defended in the specialty 12.00.03; to justify the need to set as goals the fundamental problems associated with the identification of patterns of development of relations that are part of the subject of civil law regulation and the creation of effective mechanisms that mediate them. Methods: system-structural, system-functional, generalization, abstraction, analogy, logical, statistical, classification, legal modeling, comparative legal, forecasting, formal legal, historical. Results: civil methodology should take into account the importance of the goal in the organization of scientific work. Only a competent possession of goal setting skills can ultimately ensure the creation of scientifically-based mechanisms for effective impact of civil law norms on regulated social relations. Conclusions: 1) any science, including the science of civil law, is not only designed to study and describe existing problems, including legislative, doctrinal, and law enforcement. Research, in order to meet the criterion of scientific character, must attempt to identify the laws of development, both regulated relations and mechanisms that mediate them; 2) the significance of the goal in the development of science has been proven by outstanding philosophers. In addition, the very definition of science indicates that goal setting is one of its essential characteristics; 3) the analysis of the author’s abstracts of leading Russian tsivilists showed how the skilful setting of research goals helped to achieve them consistently, as well as to create a high-quality categorical apparatus of civil law science; 4) the analysis of modern dissertations showed that not all young researchers see the value of goal-setting and this methodological disadvantage is important for the author to eliminate.

The popularity of Korean pop culture in the world can be considered an exceptional phenomenon of 2020. One should note that processes reflecting the effective interaction of state structures with the spheres of the creative industry in the modern economy have a special scientific potential at the moment. These creative industry spheres include art, cinema, animation, music, game development and software products. The most successful case in this area is the developed system of cultural media export in South Korea. Research into the economic opportunities of creative industries as a new stage in modern society is becoming a practically significant way to solve the problems of increasing the country's economic power in the Digital Age. The experience of South Korea is still insufficiently covered in Russian research. The practical significance of research in this field is associated with the study of the use of cultural products as a tool for economic growth.

The authors investigated several import retail e-commerce sellers through questionnaires and selected several types of variables based on Porter's competitive strategy theory. Then the authors used the panel data to empirically verify theoretical consumptions based on samples got by Python method from Jingdong Global Purchases and Tmall International, the top two e-commerce platforms in China. Results validated the three major competitive strategies that could enhance the competitive advantages to import retail e-commerce sellers. As it was not applied to all platforms and commodities, sellers should make different strategies through different platforms and commodities. This article has theoretical significance that filled in the gaps on import retail e-commerce sellers' competition. It also has certain practical significance by providing references for sellers on how to improve their competitive advantages, promote healthy competition and development of the import retail e-commerce, even to facilitate the structure adjustment of consumption and foreign trade in China.

The purpose. The urgency of the presented scientific work is that the study of risks and force majeure disruptions of tourist services by the tourist operator "Join Up!" Will prevent their further occurrence. The object of research is the travel company "Join Up!". The purpose of the study: to investigate the reasons for the failure of service programs and the dynamics of the number of victims, to analyze the public resonance and the consequences of the failure of the programs and to make a prediction of the image losses of the tour operator "Join Up!" іn 2018 and 2019. Methods. The research uses the method of sociological research, methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis, the method of grouping, generalization, statistical processing of output data. Results. The essence of force majeure circumstances is characterized; analyzed the main risks of tourist activity and disruptions to the programs of service of tour operator "Join Up!" that took place in 2018. Scientific novelty. The reasons of disruption of service programs and dynamics of the number of suffered people were investigated; the public resonance has been analyzed and the consequences of failure of service programs have been assessed; the forecast of the image losses of the tour operator "Join Up!" is made in 2018 and 2019. Practical significance. The specific recommendations for restoring the lost trust of the victims and potential clients of the "Join Up!" Company are offered.

Currently, the issues of development of the regional economy, which require an effective solution, are becoming relevant for government and management bodies and the scientific community. One of the tools that contribute to solving the problems of the regional economy is the development of industrial cooperation. In this connection, the author made an attempt to study this process, as well as to develop comprehensive tools for managing the processes of industrial cooperation in the region (for example, Vologda Oblast). The work, on the basis of a sociological survey of the heads of enterprises of Vologda Oblast, reflects the state of cooperation in the region. An assessment of the level of development of cooperation is given, problems associated with a low level of interaction between enterprises, as well as lacking methods of efficiency from cooperation in the region are identified, in connection with which the author studied the management system of production cooperation in Vologda Oblast and proposed measures to improve it. The results obtained during the study contribute to the development and systematization of the theoretical basis of the problem under consideration. The practical significance of the work is related to the possibility of using the results of the research by researchers, graduate students, undergraduates, bachelors dealing with the problems of development of industrial cooperation.

Background. More than ten million small-scale miners (SSM) worldwide use mercury to extract gold, releasing large amounts of the toxic element into the environment. Alternatives to mercury have been suggested over the years to little avail. A group of miners in the Philippines has demonstrated that borax, when used as a flux for smelting gold out of heavy mineral concentrates, is an effective and safer substitute for mercury. Objectives. To present a basic comparison of the mercury amalgamation and borax methods of gold extraction for SSM. Methods. Borax was added to milled ore to reduce the melting point of gold to a level accessible to SSM. The amount of gold captured, and the amount of mercury released into the environment, was compared to two common amalgamation methods: whole ore and heavy metal. Discussion. The borax method appears to capture more gold, as well as eliminate the use of mercury. It is also less expensive. It is important to stop the use of mercury amongst SSM. However, health and environmental arguments alone are not enough to convince miners to switch. The argument of improving gold-capture rates while reducing costs is more compelling, and may help propagate the technique among small-scale miners. Conclusions. Scientific research should continue in order to further establish the uses and limitations of the borax method.

The purpose of the article is to attempt to discover the conceptual basis of modern tourism, in particular, to justify scientific approaches. The basis of the method of work was the use of conventional methods: theoretical analysis of scientific sources on the specified topic, synthesis, description and comparison. The results are the separation of the following scientific approaches: axiological, cultural, multicultural, holistic, structural, functional, informational, synergistic, predictive, unity of quality and quantity, co-evolutionary (development), causality. The scientific novelty of the study was the interpretation of general methodological approaches in the field of tourism studies, a clear definition of their characteristics, which will help to improve its methodological basis. The practical significance of the article is to justify the expediency of using scientific approaches, which will make it possible to combine the efforts of tourism professionals under the current conditions of fundamental incompleteness and uncertainty of information on the methodology of tourism; in developing approaches that are, to some extent, capable of ensuring the effective interaction and synthesis of different science methods on a single conceptual basis.


The article deals with the issue of improving marketing communications in a hotel from the international hotel chain. The topic of the article in modern conditions is relevant and important in the development of effective marketing communications for many hotels that have opened in Russia recently. It is particularly relevant in connection with the fact that opened hotels representatives of international hotel chains operating in Russia on a franchise basis. The authors see the purpose of the article in formation of proposals to improve the current system of marketing communications. The authors analyzed the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of marketing communications in the organization; analyzed the existing system of marketing communications in the Hotel “ibis” in Nizhny Novgorod. The analysis devoted to the research of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of marketing communications in the organization allowed us to conclude that marketing communications in the organization are a concept according to which the organization carefully thinks and coordinates the work of its many communication channels to develop a clear, consistent and convincing presentation about the organization and its goods (products, services). The main purpose of such communications is to demonstrate to contact groups the most important characteristics of the goods (services). The basis for the formation of an effective complex of marketing communications in the organization is segmentation, which allows obtaining the necessary information socio-economic and psychological characteristics of target audiences. The authors proposed the necessary list of communication activities, which does not violate the requirements of the franchise to the implementation of marketing activities. This confirms the practical significance of this article. The proposed measures will allow effective use of marketing tools for promoting the hotel. Companies will receive competitive advantages, attract more guests, and increase the economic efficiency of their activities with the proposed set of measures.
