The hospitality industry is an industry that prioritizes service for its guests, to provide the best service, of course, it requires superior, competent, and professional human resources in their field. To get HR with these criteria, of course, there are various efforts that can be made by every hotel company. The purpose of this study is to describe efforts to develop superior human resources in the hospitality industry, through this development it can provide an overview for hotel leaders in developing their human resources so that competent human resources are created in their fields who are able to provide the best service to guests. This type of research is qualitative research with the method of Data collection used is a literature study. Based on the results of the discussions that have been described, in an effort to build superior human resources in the hospitality industry, companies can make various efforts, including conducting recruitment and selection properly and fairly, providing opportunities for every employee to carry out education and training activities, providing opportunities for Career development for each employee, employees are able to cooperate with each other within the company, create a good and conducive work environment, improve technology capabilities for each employee, reward employees who excel and contribute positively to the progress of the company.

The restaurant is one of the important facilities in the hospitality industry. It supports the guest's comfort when staying at a hotel. The restaurant serves to provide food and drinks for guests who stay and visit the hotel. The waiter served this service. The role of the waiter is one of an influential factor in bridging between guests and food providers. Therefore, waiters are required to be good in communication, whether in national or international languages. Language skills are important to support the work of waiters or waitresses because language is the ability possessed by humans to communicate with other humans. Hence, the research was conducted to found out the obstacles faced by waiters when served Korean guests and how to overcome the obstacles of waiters when served Korean guests. This research was conducted for five months at Azzuma Restaurant in Nilai Springs Resort Hotel, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia. This research applied a qualitative research design. The data collection was collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. Based on the research, there were two findings related to communication skills in the hospitality industry. First, the waiters faced several obstacles when served Korean guests at Azuma Fusion restaurant. Therefore the information can not be transferred well from the customer to the waiter. Second, it was found that there are several ways to overcome the obstacles when served Korean guests at Azuma Fusion restaurant.

The ups and downs of the journey of KOPMA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta was able to give an idea to all its cadres that the optimization of the development of member resources was not optimal. This study aims to describe how the process and implementation of human resource management in the development of member resources (PSDA) of KOPMA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. So that it is hoped that in the future the cadres are required to be able to optimize the development of the resources of KOPMA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta members to achieve common goals. The research is a type of qualitative research whit data collection carried out by conucting observations, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested by using triangulation technique. The results showed that:1) human resource management of KOPMA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta through: a) planning and recruitmen: b)selection process: c) education and training; d)career development; e) comensation. 2) development of mamber resourvces (PSDA) of KOPMA UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta through: a) member development; b) communication media; c) membership administration; d) member welfare; e) special programs.

ABSTRACTBackground : Medical record is one of the most important pillars that can not be considered trivial in a hospital, with the development of medical scienceCommon Purpose : To find in-depth information about the implementation of medical records at the hospital Widiyanti PalembangResearch Method : Qualitative research design with data collection techniques are conducted in triangulation, The data analysis is inductive, and the results of the study are emphasized more at the meaning than the generalization. The Research Results : the Implementation of medical records have been running but there is no medical record organization, the implementation of medical record activities done by rolling. Human Resources (HR) medical records should be placed specifically in the medical record along with clear tasks. Method of organizing medical record has been run although the result is not optimal, because Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) that made not socialized. Facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of the medical record is good, marked by the existence of a special records archive medical records. Facilities and infrastructure such as chairs, desks, computers, patient registration books and outpatient registration and inpatient services are available, do not have budget funds for medical record implementation, especially by sending medical recruiter for trainingConclusion : Implementation of medical records have been running but not optimal.

<em>The research objective was to determine the effect of work environment and career development on employee performance of PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk Division SSC (Shared Service Center). The research method, in this study using primary and secondary data sources, where the data collection is done by field research and library research. Respondents in this study were all employees of PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk Division SSC (Shared Service Center) as many as 72 respondents using the slovin technique with a tolerance level of 5 percent. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the sampling technique used random sampling. The results of the study have an effect both partially and simultaneously on work environment and career development on employee performance at PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk Division SSC (Shared Service Center).</em>

This study aims to determine how much influence the work experience, work performance, education and training have on the career development of employees at PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji, Padang City. The analytical method used is correlation analysis and multiple regression. The data collection method in this study is to use a questionnaire filled out by respondents, namely employees at PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji, Padang City. From the results of multiple regression analysis, it shows that: (a) work experience has a partially significant effect on career development, (b) work performance has a partially significant effect on career development, (c) education has a partially significant effect on career development, (d) training does not have a partially significant effect on career development, (e) work experience, work performance, education and training have a significant effect on career development together, (e) the contribution of variable work experience, work performance, education and training together The career development is 52.5%, while the remaining 47.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract The Conception of Community Life in Petatah Petitih Minangkabau with The Indigeneous Approach. This study aims to identify the Minangkabau conceptions values as depicted in the petatah petitih Minang (proverb). This research examines Minang Proverb with the Indigenous Psychology approach. Qualitative research methods, describing, interpreting the concept of values in the Minangkabau community which is illustrated by the Minang proverb. The data collection technique used is desk research and interview. Sources of literature study are from the Minangkabau Adat textbook obtained from the Rumah Gadang Minangkabau pavilion in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta; the results of previous studies / research, and relevant information from online mass media. Online Interview was conducted with the Chief Advisor of the Bundo Kanduang Council Organization Advisor Solok City, West Sumatra. The results show that there are ten values or Minangkabau life concept which are contained in the Minang proverb which is inherent in the Minang identity, namely; hiduik baraka, baukue jo bajangko; baso basi –malu jo sopan; tenggang raso; loyal; fair; thrifty; watchful; braveness; wise diligent and humble. Key words: Minangkabau conceptions, Minang proverb, Indigenous psychology Abstrak Konsep Pola Hidup Masyarakat dalam Petatah Petitih Minangkabau dengan Pendekatan Indigenius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi konsepsi nilai-nilai adat yang berkaitan dengan pola hidup masyarakat Minangkabau (Minang) yang tergambar dalam Petatah Petitih (pepatah) Minang. Penelitian ini mengkaji psikologi yang lekat pada budaya adat Minangkabau yang tertuang dalam Pepatah Minang dengan pendekatan Indigenous Psychology (Psikologi Indigenius). Metode penelitian kualitatif, yakni menggambarkan, menafsirkan konsepsi nilai-nilai adat pada masyarakat Minangkabau yang tergambar pepatah Minang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara studi kepustakaan (desk research) dan wawancara. Sumber studi kepustakaan adalah dari buku teks Adat Minangkabau yang diperolah dari anjungan Rumah Gadang Minangkabau di Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta; hasil kajian/penelitian sebelumnya, dan informasi yang relevan dari media massa daring. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Ketua Penasehat Organisasi Bundo Kanduang Kota Solok Sumatera Barat secara daring. Hasil menunjukan terdapat sepuluh nilai atau konsep pola hidup masyarakat Minang yang tertuang dalam pepatah minang yang melekat pada jati diri orang Minang yakni; hiduik baraka, baukue jo bajangko; baso basi-malu jo sopan; tenggang raso; setia; adil; hemat cermat; waspada; berani karena benar; arif bijaksana; rajin dan rendah hati. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los métodos de evaluación de las inversiones a largo plazo en activos fijos, tecnología y capacitación del recurso humano, utilizados por el sector farmacéutico del estado de Zulia (Venezuela). Metodológicamente, es de tipología descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental de campo y transversal. La población fue constituida por las siete (7) farmacias inscritas y activas en el Registro Municipal de la Alcaldía Bolivariana del municipio Jesús Enrique Lossada del Estado de Zulia al mes de mayo de 2015. Se utilizó el cuestionario estructurado como instrumento de recolección de datos aplicado a los gerentes y/o administradores, quienes fueron las unidades informantes; el mismo fue validado por cinco (5) expertos y mediante el nivel de confiabilidad, siendo el Alpha-Cronbach de 0,89. Los resultados demuestran que si bien pocas empresas acuden a los métodos tradicionales para evaluar las inversiones en propiedades, planta, equipos y tecnología, la mayoría aplica los destinados a evaluar inversiones en capacitación del talento humano. En conclusión, los métodos menos usados son aquellos que requieren la aplicación de fórmulas aritméticas (VPN, TIR, IR), evidenciando así que estas empresas carecen de personal calificado para usar e interpretar estos últimos. Se recomienda maximizar su uso para garantizar la salud financiera de estas organizaciones, así como aplicar los correctivos cuando la capacitación brindada al trabajador no produzca el efecto esperado. ABSTRACTThis article aims to analyze the methods of assessing long-term investments in fixed assets, technology and training of human resources used by the pharmaceutical sector of Zulia (Venezuela). Methodologically, the typology is descriptive, with a non-experimental field not a cross design. The chosen sample consisted of seven (7) registered and duly active pharmacies in the Municipal Register of the Bolivarian Mayor City of Losada - State of Zulia in May 2015. A well structured questionnaire was used as an instrument for data collection applied to managers and / or administrators who were reporting units. It was validated by five (5) experts and the level of reliability using the Cronbach Alpha was 0.89. Results show that while only a few companies flock to traditional methods to evaluate investments in property, plant, equipment and technology, the majority applies them to assess the investment used for the training of human talent. In conclusion, the least used methods are those that require the application of arithmetic formulas (NPV, IRR, IR) thus showing that these companies lack qualified personnel for the use and interpretation of these methods. It is strongly recommended, in order to maximize its use, to ensure that these organizations are financially healthy, and at the same time proceed to apply the necessary correctives when the training provided to the worker does not produce the desired effect.

Meoli spell present as one performance package within custom ritual called meoli ritual. Meoli ritual is a politeness expression of the perpetrators in expressing the purpose of request permission or apology to the sangia as the ruler of nature when opening the land to grow crops. This study examines the value of politeness in the meoli spell with the ethnopoetic approach. The issues raised are how has the politeness value existed in the meoli spell. By applying qualitative research method, data collection is done by observation, interview, and literature study. From the analysis, it is known that the value of politeness in the meoli mantra embodies the priority scale in which the preferred is the custom observer, followed by an apology by mentioning the whole of the target, newly expressed by the expression of intent and hope as the core message of the meoli spell. The beautiful way of disclosure also supports the value of politeness in the meoli spell

AbstrakMasjid Asasi Sigando menerapkan ornamen sebagai salah satu bagian dari bangunannya. Fungsi secara umum dari penempatan ornamen pada masjid Asasi sebagai penghias, hal ini juga berlaku pada bangunan yang khas Minangkabau lainnya. Penempatan ornamen pada masjid ini, hampir terdapat pada seluruh dinding luar. Ornamen yang diterapkan pada bagian dinding masjid seperti singok, pereang, papan banyak, papan sakapieng, dan salangko. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang berifat deskriptif. Ornamen Masjid Asasi memiliki keindahan dari segi motif yang belum dikaji secara keilmuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara obervasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil tentang ornamen Masjid Asasi bahwa ide penciptaan motif ornamen berlandaskan pada bentuk alam seperti, tumbuhan, hewan, alam benda dan manusia. Selain itu penempatan masing-masing motif juga disusun pada bagian masjid yang memiliki nama tertentu.Kata Kunci: masjid asasi, ornamen, motif.AbstractAsasi Sigando Mosque uses ornaments as one part of the building. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Asasi Mosque ornaments have beauty in terms of motifs that have not been studied scientifically. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The result of Asasi Mosque ornaments is that the idea of creating ornamental motifs is based on natural forms such as plants, animals, natural objects and humans. In addition, the placement of each motif is also arranged on the part of the mosque that has a certain name. Keywords: asasi mosque, ornaments, motifs.

Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah upaya yang dilakukan peneliti dalam mengkaji tentang masalah-masalah penerapan metodologi Barat pada pendidikan dasar di Indonesia dalam perspektif Islam. Upaya yang dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan metode pendidikan yang tepat dan sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian ini merupakan kombinasi antara penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mix research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa sebar kuesioner, studi pustaka, dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada beberapa narasumber yang berbeda guna mendapatkan jawaban-jawaban untuk disimpulkan dengan benar. Penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner dan wawancara. Masalah-masalah penerapan metodologi Barat pada pendidikan dasar di Indonesia dapat diatasi dengan menerapkan beberapa cara mendidik anak yang dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah saw., yaitu didasarkan kepada Alquran dan Hadits, serta mengambil metodologi Barat dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan pemilihan konten yang tepat dan relevan dengan pendidikan Islam.   Kata Kunci: problematika, metodologi barat, pendidikan dasar This research is an attempt by the researcher in examining the problems of applying Western methodology to basic education in Indonesia in an Islamic perspective. Efforts are made by means of literature study that aims to get the right educational methods and in accordance with the objectives of education in Indonesia. This research approach is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research (mix research) with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, literature studies, and interviews conducted to several different sources to get answers to be concluded correctly. This research can be seen from the results of the questionnaire and interview. The problems of applying Western methodology to basic education in Indonesia can be overcome by applying several ways of educating children as exemplified by the Messenger of Allah, which is based on the Qur'an and Hadith, and taking Western methodologies by first selecting the right content and relevant to Islamic education.
