ABSTRACT Forest and land fires cause an increase in pollutants due to smoke from forest fires that are harmful to health, especially causing ARI. This study was to determine the effect of health education on the dangers of smoke on the knowledge and attitudes of students at SMA Muhammadiyah Sintang. The research applied quantitative method with a pre-experimental approach, one group pre-test and post-test. The research sample was taken using the convenience sample technique. The results showed that the education on the dangers of smog for health could increase the students' knowledge by 5.51 from 30.69, to 36.20. The results of the t-test obtained p value = 0.046 statistically; there was a significant difference in knowledge. Counseling on the dangers of smog for health reduced the positive attitude of students by 1.62 from 35.64 to 34.02. The results of the t-test obtained p value = 0.027, meaning that there was a statistically significant difference in attitudes. In conclusion, the counseling can be carried out continuously in a planned manner so that the students' knowledge about the risks of exposure to smoke haze and the student attitudes support the health education programs.

This study aims to determine the effect of health education on BSE as an early detection of breast cancer on the knowledge and attitudes of Yapim Vocational School students, Balige District, Tobasamosir Regency in 2020. This research is a quasi-experimental research type, using the pretest-posttest design method, namely by how to give a pre test (initial observation) before the intervention is carried out, after being given the intervention then a post test (final observation) is carried out. The research was conducted at Yapim Vocational High School, Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency, from January to March 2020. The research subjects were a total of 91 Yapim Balige Vocational School students. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of the pair t-test analysis of pre-test and post-test of knowledge. So, it is concluded that there is an effect of health education on BSE on student knowledge. The result of pair t-test analysis result pre test and post test attitude obtained p value = 0.000, meaning p value> 0.05. So, there is an effect of health education about BSE on student attitudes. So, it is hoped that the Tobasa Health Office will make a work program of health education or a routine schedule of health counseling and to continuously socialize health information about Sadari, especially to schools in Tobasa so that students know and do Realize so they can detect breast cancer early. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang SADARI sebagai deteksi dini kanker payudara terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswi SMK Swasta Yapim Kecamatan Balige Kabupaten Tobasamosir Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi experiment, menggunakan metode pretest-posttest design, yaitu dengan cara memberikan pre test (pengamatan awal) terlebih dahulu sebelum dilakukan intervensi, setelah diberikan intervensi kemudian dilakukan post test (pengamatan akhir). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK Swasta Yapim Kecamatan Balige Kabupaten Toba samosir pada bulan Januari s/d Maret 2020. Subyek penelitian adalah total seluruh Siswi SMK Swasta Yapim Balige yang berjumlah 91 siswi. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji wilcoxon. Hasil analisa uji pair ttest pre test dan post test pengetahuan. Maka, disimpulkan ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang SADARI terhadap pengetahuan siswi. Hasil analisa uji pair t-test pre test dan post test sikap diperoleh nilai p = 0.000, berarti nilai p > 0.05. Maka, ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang SADARI terhadap sikap siswi. Sehingga, diharapkan kepada Dinas Kesehatan Tobasa untuk membuat program kerja penyuluhan kesehatan atau jadwal rutin penyuluhan kesehatan serta mensosialisasikan informasi kesehatan secara terus menerus tentang Sadari terutama ke sekolah yang ada di Tobasa sehingga siswi mengetahui dan melakukan Sadari sehingga dapat mendeteksi dini kanker payudara.

This research aimed to identify differences in problem solving skill between male and female students. The research subjects were 50 students (21 male and 29 female) who were taken by random sampling technique from two high schools in Malang. The research instrument was adapted from problem solving instruments of Maries & Singh (2018). The data was analyzed by statistic descriptive and Kruskall Wallis test (p-value <0.05). The results showed that overall, there was no significant difference between male and female students (p-value>0.05). However male students performed better than female students on preparing the action (p-value<0.05). The results of this research can be a consideration and input for practitioners of education to improve the quality of education, especially in Indonesia.

AbstractThis article is intended to measure the effectiveness of using Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution for junior high school students and the improvement of teaching materials, in accordance with the principles of development. As an experimental research, the form of this research is a quasy experiment. The object of this research was 53 students in SMP Kota Singkawang. Data were collected using measurement techniques. This study uses a different test using t-test as a data analysis tool. Based on the SPSS output, the t-test results show that the significance = 0.00 <α 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the pre-test and post-test results. Thus it can be concluded that the effective use of teaching materials has an impact on students' understanding of the material of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution at SMP Kota Singkawang. The aim of this research was to determine the profile of learning, the learning process and the effectiveness of the application of quantum writing model based of interpersonal intelligence in teaching high school students write articles on subjects Talenta Bandung High School. The reseach design used is Nonequivalen (pretest-posttest) Control Group Design, which is a quasi-experimental research using all subjects in the study group (intac group) for treatment, instead of using subjects drawn randomly. Data collection instruments used were a matter of a test to measure the ability to write articles and guides observation and interviews. Analysis data technique used was Statistic Descrivtif, t test (paired-sample t-test) and independent sample t-test using SPSS version 22. The results showed that the learning profile is still using the curriculum KTSP, while directing students to the learning process easier to develop ideas into writing through the application of quantum writing model based of interpersonal intelligence. Hypothesis test results mean gain score on the test t-table  is 0, 001 is smaller than the real level of testing (α) of 0.05, which means that Ho refused and Ha is received, there is a significant difference between the results of the experimental class learning with learning outcomes in control class. This shows that the quantum writing model of based interpersonal intelligence can improve students' ability to write articles in Indonesian subjects in Talenta Bandung high school.

ABSTRAK            Menurut survei tahun (2015),   stroke merupakan pembunuh nomor satu di RS Pemerintah di seluruh Indonesia. Diperkirakan ada 550.000 penduduk yang terkena stroke.Keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pasien yang mengalami stroke. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasieksperimenpre danpostonegroup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien stroke yang masuk ke Rumah Sakit Stroke Nasional (RSSN) Bukittinggi yang berjumlah 366 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel AccidentialSampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2017 - Juni 2018. Hasil uji-T untuk dukungan keluarga pada pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan penyuluhan kesehatan didapatkan p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05) artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga yang diberikan pada pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan. Hasil uji-T pada konsep diri pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah didapatkan p-value 0,000 (α≤ 0,05) artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara konsep diri pasien stroke sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penelitian. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap konsep diri pasien stroke yang mengalami kelumpuhan di Poli Klinik Saraf Rumah Sakit Stroke Nasional Bukittinggi ditandai dengan p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05). Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan perlu memberikan pendidikan kesehatan mengenai perawatan pasien stroke yang mengalami kelumpuhan dan tentang bagaimana pasien stroke untuk mempertahankan dirinya.Kata Kunci   : DukunganKeluarga; Konsep Diri; Pasien Stroke The Effect of Family Support on Self-Concept of Stroke Patients Who Have Paralysis at the Nerve Polyclinic of the National Stroke HospitalBukittinggi Year 2018 ABSTRACT            According to a 2015 survey, strokes are the number one killer in Government hospitals throughout Indonesia. More than 550,000 people were stroked. This research is a quasi-experimental pre and post one group design. The population in this study were 366 stroke patients who entered the National Stroke Hospital in Bukittinggi with Accidential Sampling sampling techniques. This study was conducted in June 2017 - June 2018. The results of the T-test for family support for stroke patients before and after the implementation of health counseling obtained p-value 0,000 (α≤0,05) which means that there was a significant difference between family support given in stroke patients before and after health education. The T-test results on the self-concept of stroke patients before and after obtaining p-value 0,000 (α≤ 0,05) means that there is a significant difference between the self-concept of stroke patients before and after the research. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of family support on the self-concept of stroke patients who experience paralysis at the Neural Stroke Clinic of Bukittinggi National Stroke Hospital marked by p-value 0,000 (α (0,05). I hope health workers need to provide health education about the care of stroke patients who experience paralysis and about how stroke patients maintain themselves.Kata Kunci     : Family Support; self-concept; stroke patients

This article presents the results of comparison of attitudes towards position of astronomy in education of students from two countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. A convenience sample of 396 third and fourth year high school students was surveyed using an anonymous self-report questionnaire. Students showed a certain indifference to pursuing a career in astronomy. However, both correlation and regressionanalysis indicated that students manifested a high degree of interest in acquiring knowledge, experience and skills in astronomy. This bicountry study shows that students’ attitudes towards astronomy are similar considering the educational systems and position of astronomy in both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The research results suggest that more students might consider astronomy for their scientific andprofessional career provided they had more opportunities for formal education in astronomy.

Vocabulary is a knowledge of words and word meanings. To increase the student’s vocabulary, the writer chosen game. A game is an alternative way to teach. One of the alternative games is a charades game. So, based on it the aim of this study is to investigate the effect of charades game toward student’s vocabulary. This study was conducted at the first-grade students of SMPN 18 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. This study used a quasi-experimental design that is used pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of study involved 40 students from two classes SMPN 18 Mataram in academic year 2017/2018. The writer took all of the students as a sample, and they are 20 students belong to the experimental group and 20 students in the control group. In this study, the writer used the vocabulary test consists of 20 items multiple choice covered with the indicator of vocabulary consist of spelling, pronunciation, and meaning. The result of this study, the students could understand spelling, pronunciation, and meaning and they could answer the test vocabulary easily through charades game. In this data, pre-test, and post-test as the research technique of data collection, then followed by analyzing the data using the t-test formula. The level of significance is at 0, 05%, t-test = 2,99 and t-table= 2,02, Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was a significant difference between the student's pre-test and post-test scores. Thus, the writer concludes that the charades game on the student’s vocabulary affects.

Scientific argumentation skill required to be mastered in this era. Unfortunately many students still have strunggle improving their scientific argumentation skills. This study was aimed at describing the effectiveness of ecosystem module grounded in Problem-Based Learning in improving scientific argumentation skills. This research was part of the field testing of R&D, a research and development previously conducted. Research participants included tenth grade senior high school students. Two classes were selected as a control and experiment class. The control class (existing) did not use the module but the experiment class use the module (module class) grounded in Problem Based Learning implemented. Data were collected from written tests and observations. Data analysis used the scoring rubric of scientific argumentation skill aspect which their results were tested with Gain test and independent T-test. The findings showed an increase in scores of the four aspects of scientific argumentation skills from the module class. The highest percentage of aspect was rebuttal aspect (27.27%) followed by evidence 26,06% and reasoning 23.94%, while the aspect of claim increased by 20.61%. The independent t-test results showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results of the module class. It can be concluded that the ecosystem module with problem-based learning material was effective to improve students’ scientific argumentation skills. The product of this reasearch can be use as a tools to improve students’ scientific argumentation skills.

There are four types of parenting: democratic, authoritarian, permissive, and ignored, which would affect the character of the child. But family upbringing itself influenced education, norms/cultural, environmental, social, economic and belongs to the family members. quasi-experimental study through questionnaires, observation, deep interview, and interventions against high school Students, Peers, Teachers (BK), and their Parents/Family have been conducted through a random sampling of 108 respondents in four high school set. The result met the test paired T test statistical significance level 0 and T test result of 0.05 shows that the two variables p-value of p=0.00000. Correlation tests showed that there is a relationship between two variables at-0616. This sign (-) means that the test results are negative correlation. Can be seen if the correlation between the two variables is quite high between 0.50 to 1.0 can be concluded that the direction of the relationship between the two variables is negative. These results can be displayed from "if the family provides a strict upbringing will influence behavior in high school brawls in Adolescents will tend to be low and vice versa".

First‐aid management of minor burns: attitude, and practice among high school studentsBackground: Burns have become a global public health problem that cause about 180,000 deaths per year. The majority of burns are 20 years old and most occur at home. One of the efforts to improve public attitudes and practice about burn first aid is to teach first aid techniques when burns occur to students using video media and demonstration methods.Purpose: To determine the effect of health education on first‐aid management of minor burns: attitude, and practice among high school students. Method: A quasi experimental design with one group pre-posttest. The sample that was used from students of grade X and IX which accounted to 52 High School students on March 2020. The observed variable was the change in student attitudes and practice. The data analysis used the Wilcoxon test with α = 0.05.Results: Show that the attitude score obtained was a pre-test score of 32.7, while the post-test score was obtained a score of 98.1. While the practice obtained an median score of pre-test at 25 and the post-test showed the median score reached 80. The significance value (p-value) obtained by using Wilcoxon data analysis on attitudes and practice <0,05 which means there is an influence of health education on first‐aid management of minor burns: attitude, and practice among high school students by using video media and demonstration methods.Conclusion: There is an evidence influence of health education on first‐aid management of minor burns. The advantage of this program to be continued to some other a high school student as part of community services from university staff.Keywords: First‐aid management; Minor burns; Attitude; Practice; High school studentsPendahuluan: Luka bakar telah menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat global yang menyebabkan kematian sekitar 180.000 orang per tahun yang diakibatkan oleh luka bakar. Kejadian luka bakar mayoritas berusia 20 tahun dan sebagian besar terjadi di rumah. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan sikap dan praktik masyarakat mengenai pertolongan pertama luka bakar yaitu dengan mengajarkan teknik pertologan pertama saat terjadi luka bakar pada siswa dengan menggunakan media video dan metode demonstrasi.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan terhadap sikap dan praktik pada pertolongan pertama penanganan luka bakar pada siswa SMA.Metode: Penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan metode penelitian one grup pre-post test. Sampel yang digunakan siwa kelas X dan IX berjumlah 52 Siswa pada bulan Maret 2020. Variabel yang diamati yaitu perubahan pada sikap dan praktik siswa. Data analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan α = 0.05.Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa nilai sikap diperoleh skor pre-test 32.7, sedangkan skor post-test diperoleh skor 98.1. Sedangkan nilai praktik didapatkan nilai median pre-test sebesar 25 dan saat post-test didapatkan nilai median sebesar 80. Nilai signifikasi (p-value) yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan analisa data Wilcoxon pada sikap adalah <0.05 pada sikap dan praktik maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap sikap dan praktik pada pertolongan pertama penanganan luka bakar meggunakan media video dan metode demonstrasi.Simpulan: Terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan pada sikap dan praktik siswa SMA dalam pertolongan pertama penanganan luka bakar.
