This article discusses the psychological and pedagogical features of the formation of leadership qualities in future teachers-psychologists. Requirements for leadership qualities are provided by a combination of personality qualities, which allows future professionals to effectively carry out professional activities. In modern conditions, the future specialist must possess not only professional knowledge, skills, but also a certain set of leadership qualities that allow him to successfully realize his creative potential in practical activities. The psychological and pedagogical features of the formation of leadership qualities in future pedagogues-psychologists are determined by the development of reflection abilities, a positive impact on people, an active and responsible attitude to society. The psychological features of the development of leadership qualities of students in the process of studying at a university, as future pedagogues-psychologists, are features of socialization and adaptation of a person, the development of self-awareness, the specifics of professional activity, the interaction of students and teachers, as well as intra-group interaction of students. The pedagogical features of the development of leadership qualities are in the learning process to show such qualities as determination, determination, independence, responsibility, emotional stability, mobility, sociability

The article explores the basic professional communicative knowledge, skills that mechanical engineers must have; in this article we give their definitions in the process of fulfilling professional duties, give a description of the profession mechanical engineer considering business communication. The article defines a professional program as information about a complex of general and special professional knowledge and skills necessary for a specialist to ensure effective communication as a component of his professional activity. In the article we define the following basic criteria for the professional ability of a mechanical engineer: mastery of a sufficient supply of communicative skills and experience, knowledge of the basics of a communicative culture that facilitate communication and help to establish proper relationships for the sake of high one's achievements in a specific professional field.in their future professional activities, mechanical engineers must demonstrate the ability to negotiate, reach out to the audience, build relationships with colleagues on an ethical basis, resort to non-standard language forms, ensure cooperation in the group, as well as ability to avoid conflicts and respond promptly to the interlocutor’s comments in professional communicative situations, anticipate the development of the conversation and the interlocutor’s reaction, create and maintain a friendly communicative atmosphere for success in cooperation.

Relationship between psychological features of personality and decision-making style in professional activity / Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Ukraine Kyiv. The article reveals the content of the concept and theoretical approaches to the selection of decision-making styles in professional activities. The psychological features of the personality that determine the choice of a certain style of decision making are considered. The results of an empirical study of the relationship between psychological characteristics of personality and decision-making style in professional activities are highlighted.Key words: decision-making style, psychological features of personality, locus-control, internality, externality, tolerance to uncertainty, intolerance to uncertainty, vigilance, avoidance, hypervigilance, procrastination.

The article presents the results of the study of the expression of the locus of control depending on the type of professional value orientations in case of cadets of a departmental university of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The analysis of types of professional value orientations showed the cognitive one is the most common in the sample of cadets, which demonstrates the attitude to the learning process and awareness of responsibility for the organization of the process of acquisition and subsequent application of professional knowledge in professional activities. The results of the study showed that representatives with a pronounced emotional type are more focused on interpersonal relationships. Cadets with a pronounced behavioral type of professional value orientations tend to strive to avoid failures and understand the importance of maintaining service relationships. The results obtained can be used by psychologists and employees of the personnel services of the criminal executive system to develop programs of psychological support for the professionalization of prison staff.

Medical workers, in comparison with specialists in other fields, are more susceptible to the negative impact of the current situation of the spread of coronavirus infection. The new working conditions pose a threat to the mental and psychological well-being of healthcare workers of all levels. The article presents the results of an empirical study of anxiety and motivation of nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to their assessment of the quality of life. The research was carried out based on GAUZ SO SOKB No. 1, Yekaterinburg. The sample consisted of nursing staff of the department of anaesthesiology and intensive care; the number of participants — 62 people, including 6 men and 54 women aged from 23 to 65 years. Research methods: Scale of Reactive (Situational) and Personal Anxiety” (Ch.D. Spielberger, Yu.L. Khanin); Motivation of Professional Activity (K. Zamfir, modification by A. A. Rean); the short questionnaire for the assessment of quality of life (WHOQOL). The results showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, increased indicators of quality of life characterized nurses. It was also confirmed (but not for all indicators) that an increased level of motivation to work and a reduced level of anxiety characterize participants during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a positive assessment of the quality of life. The results obtained can be used in organizing a system of psychological support and accompanying medical workers in the process of performing professional activities in a situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The article is focused on the theoretical synthesis and empirical results of the investigation to determine the psychological characteristics of the future doctors’ emotional competence formation. The analysis of Research of Psychological features of future doctor emotional sphere in the context of professional development is present. Development of emotional sphere and the formation of emotional competence of doctors’ is one of the areas of professional formation. Psychological and pedagogical components forming emotional competence of future medical worker are studied. The article discusses studies of the formation of the emotional sphere student. The components of emotional competence (cognitive, social, regulatory, empathy), and their importance in physician’s professional activities were studied. The psychological characteristics of the emotional sphere of future doctor students in connection with the professional orientation are analyzed. The scientific understanding of the emotional sphere development of future specialist doctor was presented. It provides a new perspective on the problem of place and role of emotional competence in the structure of physicians’ professional activity.

This article describes the concept of «military academy cadets’ responsible attitude to future professional activities» and explains the phenomenon of cadets’ passionarity and passionate attitude to a professional activity. The professional orientation is considered as a result of the professional self-identification of a military man, giving him a positive or negative attitude towards the profession of an officer. It reveals the main factors and conditions for developing value-based, informational, cognitive and behavioral aspects of a responsible attitude towards future professional activities of military higher education institution cadets. The description of the factors and conditions needed for creating a responsible attitude towards future professional activities and the developed ideological world as a component of passionarity among cadets of military universities is accompanied by an interpretation of the modern military education “humanization” concept. The article gives brief relevance analysis of the process of forming a responsible and passionate attitude towards future professional activity among cadets of military universities. The authors make an attempt to study the possibilities of humanitarian disciplines in organizing a special educational environment for its effectiveness. The study reveals the characteristics of game-based technologies that give an impulse to students’ cognitive activity and individualization of the learning process. The research points out the possibilities of integrating pedagogical technologies, ensuring successful learning through cognitive activity of cadets and the formation of their responsible and passionate attitude towards professional activity in the future.

Innovation in education entails not only the incorporation of technological tools and applications, but also the implementation of methodologies that could break the inertia and incorporate processes of Divergent Thinking. Future teachers must be creative professionals capable of developing professional activities to improve and not only to replicate the social experience in order to create new learning experiences. In this way, the main aim of our work was to explore how the use of Design Thinking Methodology improves learning processes in a group of 75 college students of the Primary Education Degree. This group of students, divided into 21 smaller working groups, created different educational videos and multimedia design projects through Design Thinking methodology. They were also encouraged to use Social Networks (specifically Instagram) to present and publicize the progress they were making on their work, in order to obtain feedback from their classmates. All the projects developed were related to three thematic areas: Art for everyone; Attention to diversity and Making great neighborhoods. At the end of the creation process, we analysed the students’ perception of how the design thinking methodology helps them through their learning process. Based on an ad hoc questionnaire, the impact of the use of Design Thinking in the learning process and its influence on variables such as motivation, communication, creativity, among others, was studied. The results show that the use of this methodology had a positive impact on practically all the variables, facilitating and optimizing the learning process of future teachers.

The article deals with gamification mechanisms to increase staff performance and diversify the mechanisms of professional learning to improve the training of future librarians. In this the article we conducted a survey among students-interns of the university library on their attitude to gamification in the learning process. The results revealed that respondents mostly positively evaluate gamification as a tool in the process of acquiring professional knowledge. The gamification tool is used to increase the effectiveness of learning and to facilitate the adaptation of students to the professional activities of librarians. The results of the research can be used to identify the effects of the gamification tool on improving the efficiency of training processes and the professional growth of staff in various fields.

The actor’s flexibility and stretching expressiveness is one of the most important skills in acquiring professional knowledge, which is taken into account in the structure of the pedagogical process of theatrical performances, where a significant role is given to the disciplines of the flexibility and stretching cycle, in particular the basics of stage movement, one of the components of which is historical etiquette, which develops the psychophysical apparatus of the actor in the way necessary for stage activities, trains a sense of beauty and elegance of movement, form and style. However, for today the specific character of mastering stylistic behaviour requires careful scientific review in order to create a modern study of the role of historical etiquette in the flexibility and stretching culture of the actor and the place of discipline in the cycle of professional and practical training, which determines the relevance of this article. The purpose of the paper is to substantiate the importance of mastering stylistic behaviour by a future professional actor in the context of the discipline “Fundamentals of Stage Movement” and general professional training. The methodology. In this article we applied the methods of abstraction and structuring, analytical and comparative methods within the pedagogical approach. The results. The subject “Fundamentals of Stage Movement: Historical Etiquette” is an important component of the system of modern professional training of the future actor, which meets the requirements of modern theatrical art that tends to flexibility and stretching means of expression and nonverbal language. By mastering the specific features of stylistic behaviour and flexibility and stretching of different historical epochs, the future actor acquires appropriate professional competencies and is able not only to accurately embody any historical image, but also to improve the unity of interior and exterior technology, increase the overall level of flexibility and stretching culture, expand the range techniques, to acquire skills of creating flexibility and stretching characteristic features of contemporary images, to reveal creative potential and to realize it more widely while mastering related disciplines (“Actor’s Skill”, “Dance”, “Stage Fight”, “Fencing”, “Stage Language”, “Vocal”) , which will make it in demand in further professional activities in both theatre and film industries. The scientific novelty. The paper is the first attempt for substantiating the necessity of studying the stylistic behaviour and historical etiquette by future actors in the context of further realization of their creative potential in professional activity. The practical significance. The materials of the article can be used in the practical activities of teachers of stage movement and in creating further research in this area.

The article is devoted to the problem of the organization of propaedeutic work for the creative development of future specialists in the process of vocational training. The authors noted that arming future specialists with knowledge, skills, experience, providing creative development of the individual, will allow them to adapt more quickly to real professional activity, to be able not only to adapt to the existing conditions of this activity, but also to change them. The benefit of this study is authors’ definitition that propaedeutic work with students for the purpose of their creative development involves: the teacher’s preliminary training, which is to increase its motivation regarding the importance of forming the future specialists’ creative competence; the preparation of methodical support; the activation of a conscious, positive attitude of teachers towards the formation of the students’ creative competence; the acquaintance with its content and structure; the development and elaboration of educational and methodological recommendations for implementation of the methodical system for forming creative competence in the process of future specialists’ professional training. Also the authors underlined the fact that, in the process of working with students, there was the emergence of positive benchmarks for future professional activities and the focus on their mastering a system of professional knowledge, skills and abilities; the formation of the motivation for a creative self-development and self-improvement, the awareness of their own creative potential, the clarification of life and professional sense, goals and plans; the formation of ideas about creative competence as an essential characteristic of the future specialist. Moreover, the authors made a conclusion, that the result of propaedeutics was the identification of positive benchmarks for future professional activities and the focus on the future professionals’ development in the system of professional knowledge, skills and abilities; the formation of the motivation for creative self-development and self-improvement, ideas about the creative competence of future professionals as an essential characteristic of professionalism, the awareness of their own creative potential, the clarification of life and professional sense, goals and plans.
