The Georgian Education System is in the process of constant updating and modification. Critical thinking competences and usage of theoretical knowledge into practice are one of the major challenges of the modern education system. The most basic, regulatory document for general education, the national curriculum has undergone gradual changes. At the above stages what, when and how the educational process should be implemented in Georgian Public Schools has been analyzed. What challenges did the teaching-learning and educational field face? It is important to focus on the similarities and differences of the national curriculum of all three generations. At present, special attention is paid to the most recent, Structural Analysis of the Primary Education of the Third Generation 2018-2024 National Curriculum. It is also a novelty that daily subject planning has been replaced by thematic planning, each topic is processed throughout the level of primary education, the content of the learning is defined in relation to this particular topic and each stage is presented with a complexity of age-appropriate features. The theme in the new National Curriculum has functional context, which allows to provide integrated and interrelated teaching of the issues of standardized results, concepts or specific issues. ”The new school model” is an important part of the planned reform in the education system. Its purpose is to create a person-oriented educational environment, which will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for 21st century reality.

The aim of this article is to describe the basic parameters of a value-oriented approach to assessing the education results as a possible basis for the methodology for assessment of the educational work in the general system of education. The key methods we used were content analysis of text sources, cross-reference analysis, comparative analysis, and humanitarian examination of juristic documents. The interpretation of education as a unity of teaching and upbringing for the state as a key subject of education, which forms the requirements for the results and organization of the educational process, sets the task of assessing personal, subject and metasubject educational results. The philosophy of education faces a challenge regarding the determination of the expediency of assessing educational results, the conceptual basis of assessment, fixing the orientation of assessment on the conditions of educational organzations' activities, and (or) on the results achieved by students. A practical managerial task is to develop an attitude towards using formalized procedures and methods for assessing educational results. The article proposes a value-oriented approach to assessing the educational work in the general education system of the Russian Federation based on an analysis of key regulatory documents of the Russian education system, the interpretation of upbringing as a process of forming value-semantic attitudes. The approach is based on identifying three main groups of value orientations to build a possible system of indicators that fix educational results: "Value orientations related to life, health and safety"; "Value orientations of social interaction"; "Value orientations of personal development". Values are an essential element in regulating human behavior, which guides the process of defining goals and choosing the means to achieve them. Values acquire a functional character in value orientations and can serve as indicators of education results at the level of students as a collective subject. It seems impossible to single out the contribution of individual actors to the output of education and to avoid contradictions between the value-semantic attitudes that exist in the space of modern culture. For the education system, the subject of assessing the quality of upbringing as a purposeful process can be both the quality of the organization of upbringing work and the outcomes of upbringing efforts. The results of education as a manifestation of value orientations in the activities of students can be considered based on quantitative and qualitative indicators, which is significant for making managerial decisions at different levels.

The article highlights the important factors of general physical fitness in the general education system, maintaining the health of students in class and extracurricular activities, their physical development. Within the framework of solidarity of educational and extracurricular activities of students and teachers, views were expressed on the constant monitoring of physical development of students in the educational process, adherence to the principles of individual and personal approach, creating psychological comfort in shaping and increasing motivation in students. The author used the methods of analysis, comparison, generalization, conversation in solving the tasks and testing the hypothesis.

Along with the sociocultural, natural and technogenic life environments in the post-industrial society, the information environment, embodied by the media and the global Internet, is becoming the leading one. In the information environment, individual activity is transferred to the Internet. It includes professional activities mediated by distance technologies, social networking, Internet communities, personal sites, blogs, twitters, collections of scientific, educational, literary and artistic publications, news, movies, concerts, meetings, etc. In this context, the dual social role of the teacher as a provider and, at the same time, consumer of educational services is highlighted. The development of general and professional competencies (especially socio-communicative) affects the success of a teacher in the field of socialization, education and upbringing of young people in the society based on innovations and high technologies. The education system demands a teacher who is able to implement innovative changes in the educational process, requires fundamentally new technological support for innovations and involves the development of the relevant norms of innovative behavior and description of the models, types and methods of disseminating innovative pedagogical experience. Such a teacher meets the requirements of the Russian national project “Our New School” and should be one of the most important resources for modernizing the education system as a whole and, in particular, in terms of continuing professional development. High-quality performance of professional labor functions (training, educating, upbringing) implies the possession of competencies in the analysis, exchange and dissemination of innovative pedagogical technologies. Professional development of a teacher is impossible without the need to transmit the positive experience to wide pedagogical communities.

The article highlights the problematic issues of the distance education that arose during the pandemic, including those of socialization, as well as the main reasons for the inertia of the methodology in the general education system in Russia. To comparison, an example of the Western countries and the United States educational systems way of functioning is given. To change the management of the teaching staff and the pedagogical process itself, the author proposes the principles of Agile methodology. Agile methodology becomes relevant in the distance learning due to the requirements for students independent work and, therefore, their involvement in the educational process.
