Soft Skills are the non-technical abilities that a person possesses when dealing with himself (intra-personal skills) and others (inter-personal skills). While morals are the nature of deeds that have been embedded and rooted very strongly in a person so that to do it will be easy and easy without any thoughts and considerations. The role and duties of teachers are not limited to transferring knowledge. Personality competence and social competence are needed as soft competences to educate students' morals. This shows that the soft skills of a teacher become software that always accompanies the learning process.

Virtual reality (VR) is an emerging technology with the potential to extract significantly more data about learners and the learning process. In this article, we present an analysis of how VR education technology companies frame, use and analyse this data. We found both an expansion and acceleration of what data are being collected about learners and how these data are being mobilised in potentially discriminatory and problematic ways. Beyond providing evidence for how VR represents an intensification of the datafication of education, we discuss three interrelated critical issues that are specific to VR: the fantasy that VR data is ‘perfect’, the datafication of soft-skills training, and the commercialisation and commodification of VR data. In the context of the issues identified, we caution the unregulated and uncritical application of learning analytics to the data that are collected from VR training.

Communicating effectively and appropriately in a SL implies mastering the four language skills, i.e. written comprehension and expression and oral comprehension and expression. However, not all develop equally during the teaching-learning process in formal contexts. The development of oral expression in FFL is often a challenge for teachers and students due to conditions such as lack of motivation and feelings of inhibition of the students, lack of security or self-confidence. To these are added others such as lack of time, large groups of students or methodological and evaluative gaps that contribute significantly to hinder the practice of this competence in the classroom. This paper presents a teaching project implemented in the FFL classroom where Francophonie, the use of ICT and collaborative learning are key to developing the oral expression of the learner contributing to reinforcing their personal skills.

Abstract: Teachers play a major role in developing education, especially those that are organized formally in schools. Teacher's work products become a symbol of the progress of civilization. This means that teacher professionalism is the basis of educational progress. They are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, and  evaluating students in any formal education. In carrying out these main tasks, teachers are required to have expertises in their field. The main task will be effective if the teacher has competencies (pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence). These competencies must be implemented in the learning process (instructional) in which the student component is a very important factor. In the learning process students are expected to be able to receive messages or learning materials from their teachers. To be able to receive learning materials from teachers, one of which is the need for motivation that could be fostered by professional teachers who have pedagogic competence. Keywords: Pedagogic competence, learning, motivation

The teaching learning process in every domain keeps changing abreast to academic and industrial practises. Other than knowledge, the acquisition of skill sets is demanded nowadays. The present generation may be a computer wizard, a scientific mastermind or a technocrat, but they are expected to possess a good skill set. To be successful, subject expertise alone is not enough. In this context, the Higher Education Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has published a Student's Hand Book Skill Genie (SHBSG -2016). A very laudable attempt and this move certainly helps students to refine their communicative competency and soft skills which absolutely increases their employability quotient. This chapter reviewed the appropriateness and usefulness of the book through a select lesson and the authors of this research paper wanted to share the class room experiments and anew experience which they tried in an academic setting with III ECE “A” (2017 -2021 batch), Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi. In addition to that, this chapter appraises Skill Genie (SG) as well.
