The study aimed to identify the extent of the role of social media sites in health awareness of the emerging corona virus (COVID-19), as the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and designed a content analysis form as a tool to collect data, and a purposive sample of (121) publications was selected to raise awareness of the emerging corona virus (COVID- 19), on the page of the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health on Facebook, and the study showed many results, the most important of which are: The Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health page publications lack interest in the diversity of multimedia and its balanced use, as it relied heavily on the text attached to the illustrations specifically (logos) The hashtag in displaying the page’s posts for health awareness of the emerging corona virus (COVID-19) ranked first with a percentage of (61.16%), and the results showed the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health page’s lack of focus in its publications on the topics, health advice and preventive measures, as it came at a rate of (9.09%), while it came The percentage of user interaction with the page's posts that exceeded 951 or more was in favor of the number of likes, which came at (71.07%), while the most important recommendations of the study were: Paying attention to issues related to health guidelines and preventive measures in most of the study page's publications, taking advantage of the possibilities and characteristics of multimedia and employing them in balanced and attractive images, especially visual, audio and static, animated and interactive graphics, which contributes to the diversity of methods of displaying the study page publications to raise awareness of the emerging Coronavirus (COVID-19 The page of the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health should also pay attention to the diversity of its media sources in all posts.

The covid-19 resulted in broad range of spread throughout the world in which India has also became a prey of it and in this situation the means of media is extensively inϑluencing the mentality of the people. Media always played a role of loop between society and sources of information. In this epidemic also media is playing a vital role in shaping the reaction in ϑirst place for both good and ill by providing important facts regarding symptoms of Corona virus, preventive measures against the virus and also how to deal with any suspect of disease to overcome covid-19. On the other hand, there are endless people who spread endless rumours overs social media and are adversely affecting life of people but we always count on media because they provide us with valuable answers to our questions, facts and everything in need. Media always remains on top of the line when it comes to stop the out spread of rumours which are surely dangerous kind of information for society. So on our side we should react fairly and maturely to handle the situation to keep it in the favour of humanity and help government not only to ϑight this pandemic but also the info emic.

Protecting healthcare workers (HCWs) is a top priority in COVID-19 pandemic at this time. HCWs who carry the pathogens will increase the risk of infecting their patients, their colleagues as well as the community. Therefore, HCWs must follow the guidance of preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health to ensure safety, although that means they have to work under uncomfortable condition. That is the reason why the role of surveillance and assessment the risk of infection is extremely critical. Only with regular and continuous supervision, with instructions and reminders, can HCWs effectively prevent the COVID-19 infection, especially while being under intensity - work pressure of the current situation.

This research paper aims at identifying the role of the National ‎Enterprise of the Algerian Television with its various channels in the ‎propagation of healthy culture and in the awareness of people and their ‎sensibilization with their responsibility towards their health and others’ ‎health especially with the emergence of Corona Virus or what is called ‎‎"Covid-19".‎ During that period the interest about healthy information in increased, ‎so, the Algerian Television played an important role in explaining, ‎clarifying and convining people about the danger of this virus and the ‎importance of following the preventive measures and this through its ‎programmes in order to confront this pandemic, so, the Algerian Television ‎programmed special programmes, and emissions in order to present the ‎necessary information about this pandemic and this through months of ‎doctors and specialists that were invited to their studios as well as various ‎information campaigns related to this pandemic. In addition to that, the ‎channels of the National Enterprise of the Algerian Television used slogans ‎in order to remind the viewer, all along the 24 hours, to stay at home and to ‎take care of his health and his health is between his hands‎‎‎. AbstractIntroduction: The purpose of this article is to analyse the phenomenon of “body cult” as well as psychological and social factors conditioning its occurrence among young women. Particular attention was paid to the role of social media and an attempt was made to indicate possible preventive measures to promote health-popularising behaviour towards the body among high school students.Materials and methods: On the basis of the review of the available literature, developmental conditions of the adolescence period and research results on the subject were presented.Results: The paper presents the role of social media in the context of shaping behaviours related to “body cult”.Conclusions: The content presented on blogs and social networks put pressure on young women to cultivate the physical characteristics of a person. In this perspective, excessive focus on striving for the perfect figure can lead to the development of anti-health behaviour. Further research is definitely needed.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, does more internet and social media use lead to taking more- or less-effective preventive measures against the disease? A two-wave longitudinal survey with the general population in mainland China in mid-2020 found that during the COVID-19 pandemic, internet and social media use intensity promoted the adoption of nonpharmaceutical and pharmaceutical antipandemic measures. The first wave of data (n = 1014) showed that the more intensively people used the internet/social media, the more they perceived the threat of the pandemic, and took more nonpharmaceutical preventive measures (e.g., wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and washing hands) as a result. The second wave (n = 220) showed firstly the predicted relationship between internet/social media use intensity and the perceived threat of the pandemic and the adoption of nonpharmaceutical preventive measures by cross-lagged analysis; secondly, the predictive effect of internet/social media use on the adoption of pharmacological measures (i.e., willingness to vaccinate against COVID-19) and the mediating role of perceived pandemic threat were verified. The article concludes with a discussion of the role of the internet and social media use in the fight against COVID-19 in specific macrosocial contexts.

Pandemic disease affects the whole world.COVID-19 is a Pandemic disease which deteriorates an individual's life, not only in a specific country but the whole world is suffering. Individuals health, life, economy affected by this Corona virus. It is proven that corona virus can infect people of all ages, but there are people with high risk of contamination who are elderly, individuals with a compromised immunity system and people with health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, asthma, lung disease etc. It is highly contagious that's why it is more dangerous than other viruses of its family. we can prevent from this viral disease by taking such precautions no antibiotics is beneficial in corona virus infection so we can prevent ourselves from this virus by taking preventive measures. Sushrut has mentioned aupsargik rog (communicable disease) in Ayurveda. Ayurveda is an ancient science, which believe in preventive measures for healthy persons and treat a patient by medicines which is described in ayurvedic textbook and Aachar rasayan.

The main objective of this research is to investigate the role of social media campaigns (the type of social media platform, type of message, and message source sender) in raising public health awareness and behavioral change during (COVID-19) as a global pandemic across national selected countries (Poland and Jordan). The research utilizes a quantitative method with an exploratory and descriptive design to accumulate the initial data from a research survey given to the respondents from Jordan and Poland. A total of 1149 web questionnaires were collected from respondents in the two countries (Poland 531 and Jordan 618). In addition, multiple regression analysis was used to test the study hypotheses. The findings showed positive relationships between the components of a social media campaign, public health awareness, and behavioral change during (COVID-19) in the two countries at the same time. However, the preferred type of social media platforms, the message types and type of source sender significantly differ among the respondents due to their countries. This is the first study that examines the role of social media campaigns (the type of social media platform, type of message and message source sender) in public health awareness and behavioral change during (COVID-19) as a global pandemic in across national selected countries (Poland and Jordan).

Racial microaggressions are defined as subtle racial slights that can be offensive or hurtful. One of the defining characteristics of racial microaggressions is how difficult they can be to respond to, and the literature reports that not responding may be the most common response to microaggressions. This study addresses a vital gap in the existing literature by examining the extent to which the silence that characterizes face-to-face experiences with microaggressions extends into online social media spaces. Drawing on a dataset of 254,964 tweets over an 8-year period, we present and examine trends in the usage of the term “microaggressions” over time. Furthermore, we then generate a purposive sample of 1,038 of the most influential tweets to explore discussions and content themes through an in-depth qualitative analysis of these messages. Here, we find both a drastic increase in the usage of the term microaggression on Twitter over time and an intense contestation over its meaning and repercussions for both individuals and society. Implications of these findings in understanding the role of online social media discourse in challenging or reproducing hegemonic racial structures is discussed.

This study aimed to determine the use of the Twitter network in raising awareness of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) through analyzing the tweets of the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection that were published from 7/1/2020 - 31/7/2020, to reveal the communication role of health institutions in raising awareness of the disease. This study is a descriptive study that uses the analytical approach. It relied on the sample survey method using the content analysis tool. The tweet was considered as a unit of analysis using both social responsibility theory and information seeking. The number of tweets reached 513 tweets. The findings have shown that the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE allocated 62% of its tweets in July to raise awareness of the emerging Corona virus and the majority of these tweets were supported by images and info graphics. Additionally, the tweets focused on all segments of the society. The interest of those in charge of the site appeared through answering all inquiries, The study recommends conducting specialized research in the field of communication networks and their role in health awareness.
