Pesticides is chemical substances and other materials as well as microorganisms and viruses that are used to control various plant-disturbing organisms. Early public education about pesticides is an important element to avoid increasing exposure for farmers or workers in the spraying division of plant pests. In addition, the community has never carried out early detection and feels that they are already immune and are used to the pungent smell of pesticides. This service activity is carried out with the aim of implementing a community-based education program that facilitates the community in increasing knowledge about early detection and preventive efforts against the using of pesticides that do not meet the requirements in the application of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) principles in Gantarang Keke Village, Bantaeng Regency. Methods of implementation this community service consists of two stages, namely: 1) the preparation stage includes health counseling with the lecture method to the community of Gantarang Keke Village; 2) the implementation stage includes the implementation of the implementation program in the form of implementing K3 correctly and safely. The results show that with education carried out through counseling about the application of K3 to the people of Gantarang Keke Village, they begin to understand about the safe and correct using of pesticides, as well as the use of Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with the requirements in K3 principles.

Patchwork waste is an inorganic waste that is difficult to be decomposed by the environment. Patchwork waste is often a problem because many convection industries only allow patchwork waste to accumulate and then be burned and become environmental pollution because it creates smoke and gases that are not good for health. Therefore, it is necessary to reuse the patchwork waste into products that have selling power and aesthetic value. The implementation method in this service activity starts from field visits/initial observations regarding partner conditions and problems, offering solutions and program socialization, program implementation which begins with lectures on the importance of utilizing patchwork waste and demonstrations and the practice of making these products. This service activity aims to change the awareness and concern of the people of Sawah Lebar Village towards the existence of inorganic waste around the environment, especially patchwork and to equip mothers to be creative in processing patchwork waste into goods that have selling power so that they can help the family economy. The service activities that have been carried out provide education to the community around the Sawah Lebar Village, Bengkulu City, especially RT 02 about the importance of processing patchwork waste so that it becomes a product of economic value. This service activity is carried out in two stages, namely: 1. Counseling on the importance of processing patchwork waste, 2. The tutorial on processing the patchwork waste into a more useful product, namely the mask connector.

In 1997 the School for Nursing, University of the Orange Free State, changed from the traditional lecture method of teaching to problem-based learning and from a curative to a community-based approach. Lecturers from a traditional environment became facilitators and new skills such as listening, dialogue, negotiation, counselling and problemsolving were expected from them. Besides the role change, the environment changed from a structural classroom to an unstructured community. Multi-professional Education (MPE) is now recognized as the cornerstone of community based education programs. This is especially important since there is a need for the various streams of training to appreciate the roles of each other. The objectives of this study were to know the students. feedback about the each component of Community Diagnosis Program (CDP) and to identify the knowledge and skills learnt by the students. A total 636 students from MBBS, BDS and B Sc Nursing students were posted together for the CDP in different years for various activities in the field. The students were asked to give their feedback by the help of semi-structured questionnaire given to them. The data were analyzed. All 636 students reported that the CDP was very useful. The knowledge and skills learnt by the student during this posting were communication skills, working in a team, collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data, health problems of the community, the socio-economic factors affecting health and diseases, skills related to organizing Focus Group Discussion, Health Education Session, Health Exhibition and Health checkup program and preparation and presentation of report. This CDP provides the students with a comprehensive picture of the health problems of the people, a clear understanding of the physical, socio-economic environmental factors affecting health of the people and health needs of the communities they would serve in future as health professionals. Socialization of Tourism Awareness as an Effort to Develop Community-Based Rural Tourism in Fatukoto Village. Rural Tourism Development is a government program to build a village tourism system and improve community welfare. In 2019, the Ministry of Tourism collaborates with universities to build tourist villages in East Nusa Tenggara Province. One of the villages is Fatukoto Village as a pilot rural tourism that has natural potential in the form of Pine Forest, Kaenka Lake, and Fatunausus Marble Cliffs. This community service seeks to increase tourism awareness for the people of Fatukoto Village through the SAPTA PESONA approach. The method chosen in implementing this community service is community education in which there are observations, interviews, documentation, focus group discussions, and socialization. The number of participants who took part in this service activity was 30 people aged 17-50 years. The result of this community service is the formation of a tourism awareness group in Fatukoto Village and a tourism work program in Fatukoto Village such as plans for cultural activities, regulations on the cleanliness of tourist attractions, and commitment to building Fatukoto tourism villages.

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Riau Province had an impact on the economy of the community, including the people of Palas Village. Apart from expecting financial assistance from the government, one of the opportunities that the Palas Village community can take advantage of to develop the village economy is to take advantage of the CSR programs of companies operating in Pelalawan Regency. This community service aims to explain the use of the company's CSR program to empower the community's economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of implementation used in community service activities uses the lecture method accompanied by direct dialogue with the community. Based on Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, it is stated that companies that carry out their business activities in the field of natural resources and / or fields related to natural resources are required to carry out CSR. The CSR program of PT RAPP that can be used by the people of Palas Village to build their economy is the Integrated Farming System program and the UMKM program. Before being given legal counseling, only 17.5% of the 20 participants knew the law regarding CSR. After being given legal education, there was an increase to 75% of the 20 participants who answered correctly. This means that this community service activity has succeeded in increasing the understanding of the Palas Village community.

Community service activity aims to increase the understanding of the people of Gayaman Village and to change behavior regarding early detection of cervical cancer and breast cancer. The method used is health education, discussions, questions and answers. The material given to mothers of childbearing age is about early detection of breast cancer with BSE and early detection of cervical cancer by IVA examination. This activity was attended by 20 women of childbearing age in Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District in March - June 2020. The results obtained were that the participants were enthusiastic about the education and counseling that had been carried out supported by significant results, where 90% of the participants understood and were able to practice early detection of BSE examination. This activity should be carried out regularly and continuously so that mothers of childbearing age can increase knowledge and increase the coverage of early screening for cervical cancer and breast cancer.

The Siak Regency Government's policy to close the tourist attraction of the Siak Sri Indrapura Royal Palace to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak has an impact on the economy of the community, including the people of Mempura Village. This service aims to help develop ecotourism potential to improve the economy of the Mempura Village community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of implementation used in this service activity uses the lecture method accompanied by direct dialogue with the community. Siak Regency has been known to the public, both nationally and internationally, with the tourist attraction of the Siak Sri Indrapura Royal Palace which is famous for its glory and historical heritage that is thick with Malay cultural features that blend Islamic nuances. In fact, apart from historical tourism, the beautiful and luscious landscape of Siak Regency has the potential to become a promising ecotourism area. Especially when people's economic conditions are deteriorating due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit during the last few months. The effort made by the service team is to provide legal counseling on ecotourism to help the community develop the potential for ecotourism in Mempura Village. In developing an ecotourism area, real support from the Siak Regency Government is needed as a form of the government's support for improving the community's economy

This aims of dedication community to uplifting entrepreneurial activities in order and increas the economy of the people in Pelayangan sub-district, Jambi city. The service location is the closest location to the tourist area “Gentala Arasy” bridge which is the icon of Jambi city. Through this service, it is hoped that the community at the service location can develop this activity to increase the collection of souvenirs sold at that location. The easy process of making and the availability of abundant leaves is one of the criteria for this dedication. This activity is carried out in two stages, namely counseling and practice. The extension stage is carried out by presenting participants about the manufacturing process and the equipment used. Practical stage is working directly into a product. The result is some of key chain products that are ready to be used as souvenirs. This activity provides knowledge to the community to generate interest in entrepreneurship. All stages of the event went well and was attended by all participants. This service activity will continue to be carried out in order to improve the community's economy and to support the vision of Jambi University as a World Class & Entrepreneurship University.

PENDIDIKAN BERBASIS KOMUNITAS UNTUK PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DI DESA WISATAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan panduan model pembelajaran guna pemberdayaan perempuan pedesaan wisata melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas di Desa Wisata Bejiharjo. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tersusunnya panduan model pemberdayaan perempuan desa wisata melalui kelompok belajar usaha yang mendukung di bidang pariwisata dan pendidikan masyarakat dalam bentuk panduan kegiatan dan Compact Disk (CD) pembelajaran interaktif yang berisikan panduan buku panduan aktivitas dan pembelajaran interaktif. Model yang dikembangkan mulai dari pengumpulan data awal mengenai kondisi, masalah, dan potensi masyarakat sasaran, membuat program, memberikan pelatihan, dan pendampingan program. Desain model pemberdayaan perempuan desa wisata melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas ini terdiri atas calon peserta, memilih peserta, dan program pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam bentuk pelatihan. Isi program pendidikan berbasis komunitas dalam bentuk pelatihan, penilaian, sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program, dan pendampingan. Berdasarkan data hasil validasi ahli dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan model pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pendidikan berbasis komunitas memanfaatkan potensi lokal dikategorikan sangat baik.Kata kunci: pemberdayaan perempuan, desa wisata, pendidikan berbasis komunitasAbstractThis study was aimed at generating a women empowerment model through community-based education in the Bejiharjo,tourism village. The study usedthe research and development (R & D) method. The results of the study produce a guideline modelin the form of a compact disk (CD) file for women’s empowerment of tourism villages through business learning groups that support tourism and community education containing an activity guideline book and interactive learning activities. Models were developed from the initial data collection on the conditions, problems, and potentials of the target community, programming, training, and program assistance. Stages of the includedata collection for candidates, selection of participants, and community-based education programs in the form of training. The community-based education programs include assessment, program socialization, program implementation, program evaluation, and mentoring. Based on the data of the expert validation, it can be concluded that the guidance model of women empowerment through community based education utilizing local potentials is categorized as very good.Keyword: women empowerment, tourism village, community-based education

Introduction: Outreach to the community with the title Plastic Waste Management in Layeni Village, TNS District, Central Maluku Regency.Purposes of Devotion: Provide understanding to the community regarding plastic waste management and it is hoped that the people of Layeni Village, TNS District, Central Maluku Regency can carry out waste management in an effective, integrated and sustainable manner.Method of Devotion: Performed with the lecture method by each of the presenters. The lecturer is given time to deliver the material, after which the participants are invited to ask a problem or question, which is then answered in turn by the speaker according to the problem being asked.Results of the Devotion: This community service activity is a form of tridarma activity for educators to play a role in solving problems that occur in the community, especially regarding the management of plastic waste. Through community service by conducting counseling on this plastic waste management, the community will know good, integrated, effective and sustainable waste management.
