Education and training for madrasah and school library managers in the city of Padang to manage existinglibraries should have an educational background in Library Science. In fact, the head of the library is ateacher in the field of study and the library manager is still honorary. Lack of attention from the leadershipso that library managers are not creative because there is no continuous education and training. Thequestionnaire was distributed by the service team to 74 schools and madrasahs in the city of Padang andonly 30 returned questionnaires, where the average school library accreditation score was very low andbelow the standard value of accreditation issued by the Jakarta National Library. This research-basedservice method is Participation Action Research (PAR) which involves parties from the Head of the WestSumatra Provincial Education Office, West Sumatra Provincial Archives and Libraries, the Head of theMinistry of Religion of Padang City is invited as a speaker. From the results of the education and trainingactivities, it is not clear that the policies that will be carried out by leaders and decision makers to advancethe library in a better direction.

The accreditation system is a form of assessment (evaluation) of the quality and feasibility of higher education institutions or study programs carried out by independent organizations or bodies outside universities. The assessment is used as a quality benchmark for all study programs and higher education institutions, both from public and private universities that organize professional and academic programs. The better the value of accreditation will have an impact on the views of outsiders regarding the quality of the study program and higher education institution. However, the collection of data and information as well as filling out forms in the informatics study program still have many obstacles, such as the large number of data used as assessment criteria that requires a lot of time and effort. And also continuously accreditation that keeps repeating every few years is one of the problems faced in storing the accreditation data. Therefore, we need an information system that is able to integrate the entire contents of the supporting data so that during the evaluation process information is obtained about what parts are lacking and have met the standards. From the research that has been done, the results show that the system can run as expected so that researchers expect the use of this accreditation system to provide an overview of the accreditation value of study programs, and study program managers can take action to prepare and improve accreditation status so that they can get the highest score.

Abstract The development of AGEC introduced a new facet to gerontological education: accreditation. The presence of such a new organization requires continuing marketing and education. Throughout its first three years, AGEC has continually worked to provide information and to differentiate between accreditation and credentialing for the broader community. Through informal and formal feedback processes, including focus groups and interviews, AGEC has refined its message and delivery. While schools and departments of Gerontology remain the decision-makers behind seeking accreditation, students have become one of the largest drivers and constituencies AGEC engages as they seek clarification on and the availability of accredited programs of Gerontology. Prospective students, many coming from the health sciences, see the value of accreditation. Furthermore, emerging and international programs see accreditation as an opportunity to engage the field. There is an opportunity to further refine the messages around accreditation and differentiate among the organizations active in gerontological education.

This study aims to explore students' motivation and perceptions in choosing the IAIM Sinjai Islamic communication and broadcasting study program (KPI) and to analyze the opportunities for developing the KPI Study Program. The method that researchers use is exploratory with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 27 KPI IAIM Sinjai students out of 54 active students with the object of research being students' motivation and perceptions in choosing study programs. From the results of the study, it was explained that students chose the KPI study program because they were motivated to strengthen and develop their communication skills and the desire to pursue several professions, namely becoming practitioners and academics of da'wah and communication. As for the perception of KPI students related to the study program they have chosen, it is a study program whose alumni are needed by public and private agencies and are in great demand but not yet widely known among the public, especially in Sinjai so that the opportunities for developing study programs are very large by conducting a lot of socialization, strengthening the competence of graduates and increase the value of accreditation.

Abstract While it is widely recognized that accreditation enables an organization to improve its performance and sustain a culture of quality, changing healthcare practices to align with evidence-informed guidelines (clinical and administrative) is a complex process that takes time. The true value of accreditation lies in its contribution to healthcare safety and quality as a means to prompt and support ‘knowledge to action’, a key value of accreditation that ‘has yet to be articulated’. Using the ‘knowledge to action’ cycle, a planned action framework, we illustrate that accreditation is a knowledge translation (KT) or implementation intervention that seeks to improve and increase the uptake of evidence in healthcare organizations. The accreditation components, including the quality framework, standards, self-assessment process and on-site survey visit, ultimately serve to improve quality, decreasing variation in practice and strengthening a culture of quality. With a unique perspective and alignment obtained through the implementation lens, we examine the accreditation process and components relative to the ‘knowledge to action cycle’ with implications for enhancing the value of accreditation beyond current appreciation to both accreditation bodies worldwide and those organizations that participate in accreditation programs. Until organizations and accreditation bodies embrace the accreditation process as a knowledge to action intervention to bring about meaningful and sustained change, the full benefits of the process will not be optimized nor achieved.

Higher education institutions are demanded to be quality education providers. One of the instruments used by the government to measure the quality of education providers is the number of graduates. The higher the graduation level, the better the quality of education and this good quality will positively influence the value of accreditation given by BAN-PT. Therefore, in this study the researchers provided input for research conducted at Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya University to predict student graduation rates using the Neural Network algorithm. Neural Network is one method in machine learning developed from Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP) which is designed to process two-dimensional data. Neural Network is included in the Deep Neural Network type because of its deep network level and is widely implemented in image data. Neural Network has two methods; namely classification using feedforward and learning stages using backpropagation. The way Neural Network works is similar to MLP, but in Neural Network each neuron is presented in two dimensions, unlike MLP where each neuron is only one dimensional in size. The prediction accuracy obtained is 98.27%.

In a world of globalization and transparency, many academic institutions are prioritizing the accreditation of their teaching and learning environments in order to achieve a strategic advantage over their competitors. This research examines the perceived benefits of accreditation from students’ perspectives and, in particular, assesses the extent to which accreditation adds value to students’ performance, academic motivation, and future career prospects. For comparison, the research also evaluates whether students’ knowledge of the strategic objectives of the program or college can have a similar impact on their performance, motivation, and career prospects. The research data were gathered from senior students at the College of Business at Alfaisal University, and the analysis was performed using structural equation modeling through the SmartPLS statistical package. The χ 2 statistic was used to determine whether or not gender affected the perceived value of accreditation on overall performance. The results suggest that students’ knowledge of the value of accreditation has a 60% higher impact on their overall performance than their awareness of the program’s or college’s strategic objectives. The gender of the student seems to have no bearing on these findings. The results highlight the value of accreditation and will help academic organizations develop awareness programs focused on this value. Such awareness programs have the potential to enhance the efforts of organizations trying to achieve accreditation by providing them with the direct support of their students.

Graduating on time is one element of higher education accreditation assessment. In the Strata 1 level, students are declared to graduate on time if they can complete their studies <= eight semesters or four years. BAN-PT sets a timely graduation standard of >= 50%. If the standard is not met, it will reduce the value of accreditation. These problems encourage the Universitas Simalungun Pematangsiantar to conduct evaluations and strategic steps in an effort to increase student graduation rates so that the targets of BAN-PT can be achieved. For this reason it is necessary to know in advance the pattern of students who tend not to graduate on time. In this study, C4.5 Algorithm is proposed to predict student graduation. This algorithm will process student profile datasets totaling 150 data. This dataset has a graduation status label. The value of the label is categorical, that is, right and late. The features or attributes used, namely the name of the student, gender, student status, GPA. The results of the C4.5 algorithm are in the form of a decision tree model that is very easy to analyze. In fact, even by ordinary people. This model will map the patterns of students who have the potential to graduate on time and late.
