The aim of this research is to identify the electrical potential profile on the acupoint betwen healthy people and the patient of asthma. The raw data has taken by recording the electrical potential profile on the acupoints: Feishu, Pishu, and Shenshu from 10 healthy women and the 10 women with asthma attain the age of 20-30 years old based on the second data observation at the Local Government Clinic Kalijudan, Surabaya. Potential profile of the organs were the electrical signals form. It was achieved by the result of electrical potential which was based time recording. Recording time was done for 180 second. The results couldn't be differentiated significantly, so it needs the other signals processing with FFT analyze method with cutting as the data frames. It was done every 5 second. Based on the result of analyzing the amplitude of each frequency group, the significant differences are on the acupoint Shenshu : 0-5 Hz with p= 0.001, on the acupoint Phishu 148-152 Hz with p= 0.010, on the acupoint Feishu for frequency 198-203 Hz with p= 0.004 and on the acuponit Phishu p=0.011, for frequency 348-352 Hz on the acupoint Feishu and Shenshu have both value is p= 0,004 and 398-402 Hz with p=0,009 on the acupoint Phishu. According to the preference, it was found that the electrical potential profile on the acupoints of the healthy people has lower amplitude than the people with asthma. Then, the analyze of electrical potential profile on the acupoints can be used for asthma diagnose.

Effective and rapid decision making during a pandemic requires data not only about infections, but also about human behavior. Mobile phone surveys (MPS) offer the opportunity to collect real-time data on behavior, exposure, knowledge, and perception, as well as care and treatment to inform decision making. The surveys aimed to collect coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) related information in Ecuador and Sri Lanka using mobile phones. In Ecuador, a Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices (KAP) survey was conducted. In Sri Lanka, an evaluation of a novel medicine delivery system was conducted. Using the established mobile network operator channels and technical assistance provided through The Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health Initiative (D4H), Ministries of Health fielded a population-based COVID-19-specific MPS using Surveda, the open source data collection tool developed as part of the initiative. A total of 1,185 adults in Ecuador completed the MPS in 14 days. A total of 5,001 adults over the age of 35 in Sri Lanka completed the MPS in 44 days. Both samples were adjusted to the 2019 United Nations Population Estimates to produce population-based estimates by age and sex. The Ecuador COVID-19 MPS found that there was compliance with the mitigation strategies implemented in that country. Overall, 96.5% of Ecuadorians reported wearing a face mask or face covering when leaving home. Overall, 3.8% of Sri Lankans used the service to receive medicines from a government clinic. Among those who used the medicine delivery service in Sri Lanka, 95.8% of those who used a private pharmacy received their medications within one week, and 69.9% of those using a government clinic reported the same. These studies demonstrate that MPS can be conducted quickly and gather essential data. MPS can help monitor the impact of interventions and programs, and rapidly identify what works in mitigating the impact of COVID-19.

Background. The copper intrauterine device is one of the most safe, effective, and cost-effective methods for preventing unintended pregnancy. It can be used postpartum irrespective of breastfeeding to improve birth spacing and reduce unintended pregnancy and maternal-child mortality. However, this method remains highly underutilized. Methods. We developed a multi-level intervention to increase uptake of the postpartum intrauterine device (PPIUD, defined as insertion up to six weeks post-delivery) in Kigali, Rwanda. High-volume hospitals and health centers were selected for implementation of PPIUD counseling and service delivery. Formative work informed development of a PPIUD counseling flipchart to be delivered during antenatal care, labor and delivery, infant vaccination visits, or in the community. Two-day didactic counseling, insertion/removal, and follow-up trainings were provided to labor and delivery and family planning nurses followed by a mentored practicum certification process. Counseling data were collected in government clinic logbooks. Insertions and follow-up data were collected in logbooks created for the implementation. Data were collected by trained government clinic staff and abstracted/managed by study staff. Stakeholders were involved from intervention development through dissemination of results. Results. Two hospitals (and their two associated health centers) and two additional health centers were selected. In 6-months prior to our intervention, 7.7 PPIUDs/month were inserted on average at the selected facilities. From August 2017-July 2018, we trained 83 counselors and 39 providers to provide PPIUD services. N=9,020 women received one-on-one PPIUD counseling after expressing interest in family planning who later delivered at a selected health facility. Of those, n=2,575 had PPIUDs inserted (average of 214.6 insertions/month), a 29% uptake. Most PPIUDs (62%) were inserted within 10 minutes of delivery of the placenta. Conclusions. This successful, comprehensive intervention has the potential to make a significant impact on PPIUD uptake in Rwanda. The intervention is scalable and adaptable to other sub-Saharan African countries.

The main objective of this research is to know the impact of leadership and employees performance at Ciawi Local Government Clinic of Bogor Municipality.Associative method is research method used to know the relationship or impact between two or more variables. The population of this research is 37 employees. To determine the number of minimum sample, Slovin formula is used. Based on the formula, 27 employees taken as sample. To analyze data, Weight Mean Score and Rank Spearman Correlation are used for hypothetical testing purpose. In this context, H0:ρ = 0, means that there is no positive correlation between leadership and employees performance, and Ha: ρ ≠ 0, means that there is positive correlation between leadership and employees performance. The result of this research show that leadership function by Head of Local Government Clinic is in “pretty good” criteria with mean score of 2,916 (out of 5) and “pretty good” criteria in all of indicator in this variable. Meanwhile, the variable of employees performance is also categorized as “good” criteria with mean score of 3,000 (out of 5). Futhermore, based on Rank Spearman analysis with significance test for n=27 and standar error of 10%, show that Rho 0,368 with “low” criteria. And the significance test t=2,042 > 1,70814, thus, conclusion can be taken that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This mean that there is positive correlation between leadership and employees performance with coefficient of determination 13,5%.
