AbstractWith the rising in life expectancy and the consequent population aging, degenerative chronic diseases have been figured as the major cause of morbidity and mortality in the world. It is believed that the production of a polymeric matrix composed of chitosan and gelatin may be an alternative to obtain a carrier base of heparin, with the prospective objective of applying these materials as an alternative to the conventional therapeutic resources biomedical. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the interaction between chitosan, gelatin, and heparin demonstrating a satisfactory result by the methodologies that were applied, making the study hypothesis concrete., certifying the use of a methodology for including heparin in a biodegradable polymeric base. Thus, expanding the alternatives for possible alternatives to the conventional therapeutic resources of vascular diseases with the application of the developed materials.

The methodological basis of the study is an integrated combination of general scientific methods of systematic cognition and possibilities of application of specific methodological approaches to solving problems and verification of the formulated study hypothesis; the methods include monographic, hypothetical prediction, abstract-logical, induction and deduction, historical and economic, structural-functional analysis, abstraction and content analysis, construction of concepts and categories, graphical and tabular. The study provides insights into the special features of the evolution of the etymological essence of the imperative in the context of transformations of socio-economic systems; the essence of marketing imperatives in view of marketing ideology is substantiated; the mechanism of transformation of objectives into imperatives in achieving the goal of socio-economic system is developed; the necessity of the implication of the marketing-imperative approach in sustainable economic development is proved. The practical value of the study consists in the scientific substantiation of the theoretical and methodological content of marketing imperatives, the specification of their coherent impact on the management of socio-economic systems. Further studies are aimed at developing criteria for measurement, assessment, and interpretation of the effect after the implementation of marketing imperatives with subsequent testing of results

The tasks of the research are the following: to develop a survey, to carry out theoretical research; to develop proposals. The research period was from March until June 2021. General scientific research methods were used in the research: the monographic and descriptive methods, the survey method, the comparative analysis method for studying the concept of SOR at social networking and future development possibilities. The survey conducted in the study showed the tendencies of Latvian consumers' purchases via social media. The study hypothesis confirmed that according to the Stimulus-OrganismResponse Model, advertising, opinion leaders, and user-generated content act as the stimulus (S) to evoke positive emotions (O), which later leads to impulse purchases (R) for consumers.

Study hypothesis  The costs of anti-epileptic medication (AED) and poor care coordination result in increased Emergency Department (ED) visits for seizure events and produce both direct and indirect economic burdens on patients with frequent seizures.    Methods  A retrospective chart review study of ED visits with chief concern of seizure from two hospitals over a two-year period was performed; resulting in 152 visits recorded in this study.  Data collected included demographic information, relevant seizure or past medical history (PMH), diagnostics performed in the ED, and the admission status of the patient along with the total charges per encounter.  Data was analyzed descriptively and with logistic regression analysis.    Results  The results yielded by this study were generally in-line with the results of similar studies, indicating a higher relative rate of ED seizure visits for males, people of Black race, and infant and toddler populations. A high proportion of Medicaid/Medicare coverage and indiscernible employment status for most patients were also noted.  Observed differences in average cost among patients with and without epilepsy and male versus female patients were not shown to be statistically significant.  However, the increased likelihood of admission with increasing age was shown to be significant with an average age difference between admitted and discharged populations of approximately 10 years (p= 0.003).    Conclusions  The data provided here is not sufficient to examine the complex relationship between seizures, epilepsy, and costs among various other patient factors.  Further study is necessary to minimize direct and indirect costs of seizures.    Acknowledgments  This project was funded, in part, with support from the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute funded, in part by UL1TR002529 from the National Institutes of Health. The rapid military and political victory of the Taliban movement during the summer offensive in 2021 shocked the system of international relations and the regional security architecture. The Taliban’s military successes in rural areas were expected and predicted, but the capture of Kabul and the instant capitulation of the official Afghan authorities became the “black swan” of regional geopolitics. This study hypothesis states that the reincarnation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was the logical result of an unsuccessful twenty-year military campaign by the United States and NATO. The attempt to integrate the Afghan society into an accelerated modernization process was carried out under immature socio-political practices and a complete lack of institutions. Another hypothesis of the study suggests that the victory of the radical terrorist movement can cause a domino effect and lead to the strengthening of international transcontinental terrorist groups. From the systems theory perspective, the victory of a radical group and establishing control over a UN member state cannot but cause a negative reaction for the global and regional security construction. The study puts forward a third hypothesis and thesis: the Taliban victory was the victory of radical political Islam (jihadism) at the global level, which significantly strengthened its position in the system of international relations.

Background: Performance is very important in an agency to achieve goals. The implementation of the OSH program and work discipline is one of the important factors to improve employee performance. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze an influence OSH program and work discipline on improving performance in firefighters. Method: This research method is quantitative associative. The sample used was 165 firefighters and rescue workers taken through purposive sampling. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire. In this study, hypothesis testing will be carried out which includes the F-test (simultaneous test), T-test (partial test), and multiple linear analysis. Result: The results showed that there was a significant effect of the OSH program and work discipline on performance where the value of Fcount = 200.571 > from Ftable = 3.06. The K3 and Work Discipline Program can affect the dependent variable of performance in fire officers at the Bogor Regency Fire Department by 71.2% while the remaining 28.8% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is an influence between the OSH program and work discipline on the performance of firefighters. Therefore, firefighters must always improve their performance to achieve agency goals.

In recent times, as the healthcare system becomes more informational, the importance of patient privacy protection increases, making it necessary to identify factors that affect the perception of patient privacy protection. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between nursing professionalism and the perception of patient privacy protection and the mediating role of nursing informatics competency. The study recruited 242 nursing students who had experienced dealing with patient information during clinical practice. The mediating model using the Hayes’ PROCESS macro (Model 4) was employed to test the study hypothesis. Nursing professionalism was found to be positively and significantly associated with the perception of patient privacy protection (β = 0.09, p = 0.021) with the mediation of nursing informatics (β = 0.18, p < 0.001). Our findings showed that nursing professionalism and nursing informatics competency determined the perception of patient privacy protection. The mediating role of nursing informatics competency implies that curricula designed to enhance nursing informatics competency of nursing students may increase their perception of patient privacy protection.

To achieve the study objective, the descriptive analytical method was used; and a questionnaire was administered to collect data from a sample of (133) participants who were selected from the study population (164) members working at (8) private banks in Hodeida city by the complete census method. After applying statistical analysis to test the study hypothesis, such as simple linear regression, t-test of two independent groups and one-way of analysis of variance, the study results revealed that the assessment degree of training and administrative creativity received a high score. There was also a significant positive impact of training on administrative creativity. Results also reported absence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the participants attributed to gender, age, education, employment level andyears of experience. However, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the participants’ responses attributed to the number of training courses. The study concluded with stressing the need to include training among the strategic priorities at private banks in Hodeida city.
