<div>This thesis researches the translation of Chinese culture-specific items in <em>Red Poppies</em> from the perspectives of Eco-translatology. Eco-translatology, which was put forward by Chinese scholar Hu Gengshen, adopts some concepts of ecology in translatology and provides a new perspective for translation study and practice. <em>Red Poppies</em> is a novel by Alai whose contents covers a wide range of Tibetan culture and history, which is praised as Tibetan encyclopedia. On one hand, the study focuses on the definition and features of culture-specific items, and their classification of in Red</div><div>Poppies. Based on Nida’s classification of five categories of sub-culture, those culture-specific items are classified into five groups, namely linguistic culture-specific items, material culture-specific items, ecological culture--specific items, social culture-specific items and religious culture-specific items. On the other hand, this thesis explores how Goldblatt deal with those culture-specific items from the perspective of three-dimension transformation in eco-translatology, and it finds translator adopts a combination of foreignization strategy and domestication strategy, and the former plays a dominating role. Besides, various translation methods are adopted such as free translation, transliteration, transliteration plus annotation, and amplification and so on.</div>

<div>The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) proposed the implementation of rural revitalization strategy for the first time, and established the 20-word general policy of “thriving industry, livable ecology, civilized rural customs, effective governance and rich life”. “Industry prosperity” in the first place, undoubtedly highlights the rural industry revitalization is the most important policy implementation points in the strategy. Among them, the expression “production development” is upgraded to “industry prosperity”, indicating that the rural revitalization strategy puts forward higher requirements for the development of rural industries, that is, the industrial integration development that highlights the multi-function of agriculture[1]. Many researchers have begun to pay attention to the revitalization of rural industries. The existing researches on the influencing factors of rural industry revitalization mainly include system supply, main body activation, factor allocation and development mode.</div>

<div>In recent years, social media has created a large amount of new data due to the development of Internet technologies. Scholars in related fields focus a lot on the location-based social network (LBSN) and data generated from LBSN to provide new ideas for urban development. This research analyses LBSN data advantages, including the advanced data source, diversity of LBSN platforms, and LBSN data contents. Challenges of using social media data like deviation in data samples, privacy issues and technical barrier are also covered. Last but not least, this essay will discuss the applications of LBSN data in urban design.</div>

<p>Taking family, society and school level as the starting point, to prevent college students’ suicide behavior on campus. Contemporary college students are the darlings of this rapidly developing society. They have the most perfect education system and the most advanced science and technology. They also face many challenges. Studies show that an increasing number of college students suffer from mental illness and some even commit suicide. This paper firstly summarizes the personal factors and environmental factors that produce suicidal psychology, and also analyzes the relationship between the “Big Five Personality” of college students and suicidal behavior. This paper discusses how to prevent the “suicide death” of college students and puts forward corresponding measures. It is hoped that through these methods and measures, college students can have a stronger psychology and a better future, and create greater value for the society.</p>

<p>Although China has already issued laws and regulations on compulsory licensing of pharmaceutical patents, it has not yet implemented specific practices. After the outbreak of “COVID-19”, realistic needs have made it urgent for China to implement compulsory drug patent licensing. Therefore, this study will be based on China’s national conditions, combined with China’s laws and regulations on the compulsory licensing of pharmaceutical patents, and compare specific practices in other countries. Through qualitative analysis, it’s clear that China implements compulsory pharmaceutical patent licensing in three aspects: domestic system, international level, and government responsibility. To analyze the feasibility of China’s drug patent compulsory licensing system and provide suggestions.</p>

<p>Shanghai has abolished the policy of free travel for the elderly and changed it into a comprehensive allowance for the elderly. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the free ride policy for the elderly from the perspective of citizens, enterprises and the government, and then puts forward three feasible improvement strategies: one is free for limited time, the other is free for limited times, and the third is to change the unlimited implicit subsidy to the quota explicit subsidy, which has reference significance for improving the free ride system for the elderly.</p>

<p>Two-dimensional code is widely used in daily life, and security issues are increasingly prominent. In order to improve the security and use of two-dimensional code information, the anti-counterfeiting technology based on encrypted two-dimensional code is studied. At first, this article discusses the security problems faced by two-dimensional code in the application process, and analyzes digital security technology, and compares the performance of different encryption algorithms. This algorithm not only effectively enhances the security of the system and reduces the chances of key information theft and tampering, but also ensures the generation and recognition speed of two-dimensional codes.</p>

<p>Many universities all over the world use entrance exams as a tool for filtering and selecting applicants to their courses. While entrance exams provide a standardized testing mechanism, it is not clear whether they are a predictor of the student’s future performance at the university. As an initial investigation, the author found and analyzed a raw dataset of students’ entrance exam scores and their performance in the university during the first three semesters. The author carried out statistical analysis for the entire cohort and also according to gender. The analysis was carried out using Matlab. The analysis carried out shows that for the given dataset, there is no correlation between entrance exam scores and university scores. Also, there is no significant difference in the performance at the entrance exam and university scores, between male and female students.</p><p> </p>
