Abstract The purposes of this study were to determine the factors that influence students 'learning difficulties in social studies learning and to determine teachers' efforts to overcome student learning difficulties in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 24 Makassar. The present research is descriptive qualitative research. In the process of collecting data, the researcher used the method of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires (list of questions). The results of the study showed that the factors that influence students' learning difficulties in studying social studies at SMP Negeri 24 Makassar were dominated by intelligence, attention, interest, family economic conditions, teaching methods and social studies material as well as social partners. And the teacher's efforts to overcome learning difficulties are to re-explain the material that is not yet understood by the students, use methods that make students active, give assignments (homework), provide motivation to learn and add hours outside school Abstrak Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam belajar IPS di SMP Negeri 24 Makassar dan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 24 Makassar. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket (daftar pertanyaan). Validasi data menggunakan Triangulasi. Teknik analisa data dengan cara deskriptif (non statistik) yaitu penelitian dengan menggambarkan data yang diperoleh dengan kata-kata atau kalimat yang dipisahkan tiap kategori untuk memperoleh kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam belajar IPS di SMP Negeri 24 Makassar didominasi oleh faktor intelegensi, perhatian, minat, keadaan ekonomi keluarga, metode mengajar dan materi IPS serta teman bergaul.  Upaya guru untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar adalah menjelaskan kembali materi yang belum dipahami siswa, menggunakan metode yang membuat siswa aktif, memberi tugas (PR), memberikan motivasi belajar dan menambah jam di luar jam pelajaran sekolah Kata kunci: kesulitan belajar, mata pelajaran IPS

This study aims to determine students' learning difficulties in the excretory system material in terms of cognitive aspects and learning indicators as well as the factors causing student learning difficulties in class XI IPA 1 Karang Baru at the year learning 2017/2018. The research design used is quantitative descriptive. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with a total of 95 students. The technique of data collection used  diagnostic and questionnaire tests. The results showed that the percentage of students' learning difficulties from the highest to the lowest on the cognitive aspects they are C6, C4, C5, C3, C1 and C2 of 47.37%,for amount 46.5%, 46.00%, 39.61%, 34.74 % and 26.53%. The percentage of student learning difficulties based on indicators on the excretion system material are  indicator 1 amount 28.95% medium category, indicator 2 amount 46.02% of very high category, indicator 3 amount 39.89% of high category and indicator 4 amount 42.32% of category high. Internal and external factors that cause the learning difficulties of learning difficulties from the highest to the lowest percentage are family (63,15%), interest (63,02%), school (63,00%), psychology (46,57%), teaching methods (45,21%), material (44,42%), motivation (44,21%), media (44,21%), teachers (44,12%) and health (44,03%).Keywords: Cognitive Aspects, Learning Indicators, Learning Difficulties, Excretion Systems

<p align="justify"><strong><em>Abstract:</em></strong><em> Analysis of the Factors Causing Students Not Doing School Tasks and Teacher Solutions in Class IV at SD Negeri 2 Sanden Academic Year 2019/2020. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the factors that cause students not to do individual schoolwork in grade IV SD Negeri 2 Sanden 2019/2020; (2) identifying the existence of teacher guidance efforts for students with learning difficulties who do not do school work; and (3) analyzing the types of student learning difficulties. This study used a qualitative research method with the research subjects being fourth grade students. The results showed that: (1) The factors that caused students not to do the school assignments that were given individually were strongly influenced by the standard factors of learning above the student's ability (100%), the relationship between teachers and students (95.8%), interest students (87.5%), teaching methods (</em><em>84,37</em><em>%), and health (81.25%). Several factors that do not and are less influencing, namely talents, friends, understanding parents, and how to educate children. (2) The teacher has been looking for solutions in providing guidance to student learning difficulties, namely: (a) the teacher uses varied, innovative and interactive teaching methods; (b) The teacher approaches students by building interpersonal communication; (c) The teacher adapts the material to the students' abilities. (3) The most common type of difficulty is memory disorder, in which students are less able to remember what they heard, saw or experienced. The conclusion of this study is the factors that cause students not to do assignments due to internal and external factors, where the teacher has tried to cope with good learning methods, but students experience learning difficulties called memory disorder.</em><em></em></p><p align="justify"><strong> </strong></p><p align="justify"><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Analisis Faktor-faktor Penyebab Siswa yang Tidak Mengerjakan Tugas Sekolah dan Solusi Guru Pada Kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Sanden Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menganalisis adanya faktor-faktor penyebab siswa yang tidak mengerjakan tugas sekolah individu pada kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sanden 2019/2020; (2) mengidentifikasikan adanya upaya bimbingan guru terhadap siswa berkesulitan belajar yang tidak mengerjakan tugas sekolah; dan (3) menganalisis apa saja jenis kesulitan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa tidak mengerjakan tugas sekolah yang diberikan secara individu sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor standar pelajaran di atas ukuran kemampuan siswa (100%), relasi guru dengan siswa (95,8%), minat siswa (87,5%), metode mengajar (84,37%), dan kesehatan (81,25%). Beberapa faktor yang tidak dan kurang memengaruhi, yaitu bakat, teman bergaul, pengertian orang tua, dan cara mendidik anak. (2) Guru sudah mencari solusi dalam memberikan bimbingan terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa, yaitu: (a) guru menggunakan metode mengajar yang variatif, inovatif, dan interaktif; (b) Guru melakukan pendekatan terhadap siswa dengan cara membangun komunikasi interpersonal; (c) Guru menyesuaikan materi dengan kemampuan siswa. (3) Jenis kesulitan yang paling banyak ditemui adalah <em>memory disorder, </em>dimana siswa kurang mampu mengingat apa yang didengar dan dilihat ataupun dialami. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan siswa tidak mengerjakan tugas karena faktor internal dan eksternal, di mana guru sudah berupaya mengatasi dengan metode pembelajaran yang baik, tetapi siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar yang disebut <em>memory disorder.</em><em></em></p>

Objectives. The March 2020 lockdown mandated institution closures and forced educators to provide remote instruction. We intended to gain an in-depth and holistic understanding of dental faculty’s experience and perceptions during this mandatory shift. Insights were gathered in 6 key areas: prior remote instruction experience; magnitude of transition and frequency of instruction methods used; training received; preferred teaching methods based on how they promote student learning, interaction, engagement, and performance; social impact; and future of teaching. Methods. An anonymous QualtricsXM survey was distributed to all dental faculties at University of Detroit Mercy in May 2020. Data was collected over a three-week period and analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Statistics 26 (IBM; Armonk, New York, USA). Pearson chi-squared test and Fisher’s exact test were used to evaluate categorical data. Results. Out of the 30 participants who transitioned to online remote instruction, 16 (53.3%) reported an age between 30 and 49 years and 14 (46.7%) reported ≥50 years of age. Our analysis revealed that faculty in 30–49-year age range had no prior online synchronous teaching experience. The transition was described as interesting, useful, time-consuming, and challenging. In-person live teaching received highest number of first place rankings (50%), and online asynchronous method received highest number of last place rankings (42.86%). Faculties in >50 year age range expressed maximum satisfaction with online small-group discussions, and those in 30–49 years age group were more satisfied with one-on-one online discussion. Conclusion. Our study finds that the faculty tends to gravitate to online methods that are similar to or mimic their past in-person teaching environment. Forced remote instruction gave new content delivery experiences to faculties of all ranges of age and experience in teaching. This exposure is likely to result in a more widespread adoption of a variety of instructional methods in future. Our study strongly suggests that traditional in-person instruction is the preferred method for delivery of content and is likely better for student learning. Majority of the faculties believed that the future of dental education would be a mix of both in-class and online instruction. In summer and fall 2021, our institution adopted hybrid, flexible models for didactic instruction to allow students the opportunity to digest content in their preferred method. Careful planning and systematic, continued training will be required to enhance technological skills and to incorporate newer models into didactic and clinical instruction. For the success of blended learning, courses will need redesigning of assessment methods, commitment, and support from administrators.

AbstrakBimbingan belajar merupakan salah satu metode belajar dengan cara memberi bantuan berupa penjelasan materi pelajaran secara terstruktur dan perlahan kepada siswa dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajarnya. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan untuk 1). mengkaji peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam mempelajari ilmu kimia, 2). mengkaji ketuntasan dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah tiga siswa SMA kelas X yang tinggal di daerah Penfui – Binilaka, Kupang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah bimbingan belajar yang meliputi diskusi, penjelasan materi dan latihan soal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Data hasil kegiatan ini dianalisis dengan 1). persamaan N-Gain untuk mengkaji peningkatan pemahaman siswa, 2). analisis deskriptif untuk mengkaji ketuntasan dari hasil belajar siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa 1). peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada setiap pertemuan tergolong tinggi yang ditunjukan dengan rata-rata nilai N-Gain adalah 0,83, 2). hasil belajar siswa tergolong tuntas yang ditunjukan dengan rata-rata ketuntasan dari hasil belajar siswa adalah 76,02%.Kata Kunci: Bimbingan belajar, kimia, hasil belajar, N-Gain, pembelajaran kimiaAbstractTutoring is a learning method that provides assistance in the form of structured and slow explanation of the subject matter to students in solving their learning difficulties. The purpose of this tutoring are to 1). examines the increase of student understanding in studing chemistry, 2). Examines the completeness of student learning outcomes. The target of this activity are  tree high school stutents class X who live in the Penfui - Binilaka. The methods used in this activity are discussion, explanation of the material and exercises. The technique of data collection used was a test. The data of this activity were analized by 1). N-Gain equation to assess the increase in student understanding, 2). descriptive analysis to assess the completeness of student learning outcomes. The analysis results showed that 1). the increase of student understanding at every meeting was high, which was indicated by the average of N-Gain value was 0.83, 2). the learning outcomes of students was complete, which was indicated by the average completeness of student learning outcomes was 76.02%.Keywords: Tutoring, chemistry, learning outcomes, N-Gain, chemistry learning

<p><em>This study aims to identify problems in learning science at home during the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in fifth grade students at SDN Peterongan in the 2019/2020 school year. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data sources of this study were all fifth grade students, parents, and fifth grade teachers. The data collection technique was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. The data validity test used in this study was technical triangulation and source triangulation. Data were analyzed using the data analysis model Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that student learning problems occur due to lack of interest and motivation of students and students have difficulty understanding concepts. Only 36% of students showed interest in online science learning, and 70% of students had difficulty understanding concepts. The problems that occur are caused by several factors. Based on these factors, efforts that can be made to solve learning problems experienced by students are to increase students' interest and motivation by choosing learning methods and media that make students interested and become more active, provide enrichment and remedial, and maintain communication with parents to monitor student learning difficulties at home.</em></p>

The purpose of this study was to improve the students' ability to write classified ad sentences in class IXA SMP Negeri 14 OKU . Research data collection techniques using observation, tests, documentation. The research data analysis technique used observation to see the activeness of student learning and the test of understanding writing classified advertisements . Based on the analysis of research data on the improvement of writing classified ad sentences in cycles I and II, the following results were obtained. The results of the first cycle test showed that the average increase in writing classified ad sentences for students was 61.45. Average it rose to 94.45 or 53.7% in cycle II. The increase in the classical average was also followed by the increase in the scores obtained by the students in each aspect of the assessment of writing classified ad sentences . The improvement in writing student classifieds sentences in each cycle was followed by changes in the students ' behavior in a positive direction . This can be seen in the activeness and enthusiasm of students in receiving learning because students feel happy and interested in participating in learning to write classified ad sentences through . From these results, suggestions can be taken by the researcher, the researcher me recommend , among others, 1) teachers should use teaching methods that vary to attract students, and 2) The researchers or teacher education field of language Indonesia should be able to conduct similar studies yet with different methods in order to obtain various learning methods through.
