The quality assurance and development of an educational institution depends on the quality of the headmaster as an educational leader. Therefore, the headmaster are required to be more creative, innovative and dynamic in line with changes in society that are increasingly fast and open. This study aims to analyze the role of principal leadership in supporting quality assurance at SMA YP 17 Surabaya. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. From the results of the study it can be concluded that in supporting quality assurance, the leadership of the head of SMA YP 17 Surabaya is supported by the character of strong responsibility, courage in making decisions, and participation in implementing policies. The headmaster has made several important efforts in supporting the quality assurance of the institution by developing the curriculum, human resources, infrastructure and increasing community participation. In managerial terms, the development of the quality of the institution is supported by good coordination with the academic community and the existence of togetherness in curriculum management and learning. In order for quality assurance to be more effective, the headmaster must periodically evaluate every program that has been implemented. The aim is to measure the level of success and find out the deficiencies of the program being implemented. Furthermore, the headmaster needs to conduct more massive socialization of the institution to the community. This is an effort to increase community participation in efforts to develop the quality of schools in the future.

Purpose of the study: This research was compiled to analyze the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia. The purpose of program evaluation is to know for sure whether the achievement of the results, progress, and obstacles encountered in the implementation of the program. Recognizing the low competency of school principals of the principal's partnership programs. Methodology: The type of this research is development, research which aims to produce instruments to evaluate a school principal partnership program. The development design in this study using the Plomp model. The data was analyzed qualitatively as input for improvement of activities in 2018. The following data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Main Findings: The data and analysis show that the partnership program has recorded various advances made in the impact schools — both those related to curriculum management and implementation of supervision of learning and strengthening of school ecosystems. The effectiveness of school programs is very dependent on the carrying capacity of each school. However, it is the real result of this program is the change in mindset not only for principals but for almost all stakeholders. Applications of this study: This Study is analyzed based on the school principal partnership program report to become recommendation and references for another partnership programs, improving the competency of school principals, and developing remote area (3T regions/frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged in Indonesia national scale) of Indonesia. Novelty/Originality of this study: The findings imply that the partnership program has a significant impact on the equity growth in remote areas.

The principal plays an important role in providing education in the school and is responsible for the management of education in the school. Efforts to improve the quality of education is a strategic stage in the effort to realize quality education. This study aims to describe how the principal, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the principal as a manager to improve the quality of education in MTs N Kanigoro Kras Kediri. The method used in this study is qualitative and data collection techniques in this study, namely: 1) observation, 2) interviews, 3) documentation. It was found: 1) In the management arrangements implemented by MTsN head Kanigoro Kras Kediri based on national curriculum and curriculum management as well as the results of MGMP teacher subject clusters. 2) Supporting factors for improving the quality of education in MTsN Kanigoro Kras Kediri are geographical locations that are far from coordination, shady and far from the air, teacher competency in accordance with the standards that were passed. While the limiting factor is lack of funds and infrastructure. 3) The principal's contribution to improving the quality of education in MTs N Kanigoro Kras Kediri improves the quality of teachers and students, by completing the academic year 2011/2012 students have obtained 100% and has supported increasing as much as 99.8% of students to improve to higher education. Kepala sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan pendidikan di sekolah dan bertanggung jawab atas manajemen pendidikan di sekolah. Upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan merupakan titik strategis dalam upaya mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana manajemen kepala sekolah, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta kontribusi kepala sekolah sebagai manajer untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MTsN Kanigoro Kras Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) observasi, 2) wawancara, 3) dokumentasi. Ditemukan bahwa: 1) Dalam pengaturan manajemen yang diterapkan oleh kepala MTsN Kanigoro Kras Kediri didasarkan pada manajemen kurikulum dan kurikulum nasional serta hasil dari kluster mata pelajaran guru MGMP. 2) Faktor pendukung untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MTsN Kanigoro Kras Kediri adalah lokasi geografis yang jauh dari kebisingan, suasana teduh dan jauh dari polusi air, kompetensi guru sesuai dengan standar yang disyaratkan. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya dana dan infrastruktur. 3) Kontribusi kepala sekolah sebagai manajer untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MTsN Kanigoro Kras Kediri meningkat dalam kualitas guru dan siswa, dengan bukti pada tahun akademik 2011/2012 siswa telah lulus 100% dan telah mampu mendorong sebanyak mungkin sebagai 99,8% siswa untuk melanjutkan ke pendidikan tinggi.

ABSTRACT             Curriculum management and teacher professionalism are an important part of educational components in improving the quality of education. The order to achieve a good education and quality it is necessary to a good management, especially in the area of ​​curriculum that will be taught to students about the objectives, content or materials, implementation and evaluation of curricula. In addition to curriculum management there is also a need for professional educators to get students the best service from their teachers. This research inted to (1) Know the impact of curriculum management on the educational quality of Qotrun Nada islamic boarding school Depok, (2) Know the impact of teacher professionalism on the quality of education at Qotrun islamic boarding school Depok, (3) Know the impact of curriculum management and teacher professionalism on quality education Qotrun Nada islamic boarding school Depok. In this research the researcher uses quantitative descriptive with type of correlative research. The data were collected through a questionnaire from a population of 150 who were all teachers at the Qotrun Nada boarding school. Based on the analysis of the research data, the: Management of curriculum boarding, teacher professionalism and quality of education at Qotrun Tada boarding school Depok is good. Simultaneous boarding curriculum management and teacher professionalism influence the quality of education at Qotrun Nada boarding school. This is evidenced by the multiple linear regression equation model with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, Ho rejected and Ha accepted. AbstractThis research is used to study Learning Curriculum Management in Improving Education Quality inSMP PGRI 1 Pulaupanggung, describing the implementation of management learning curriculum in orderto improve the quality of education in SMP PGRI 1 Pulaupanggung, Tanggamus District.The results show that a) .The curriculum planning at SMP PGRI 1 Pulaupanggung is based on theprevious evaluation results and the planning of future targets and programs compiled by the principalwith all subordinate staff. b) .The organizing of the curriculum includes dividing the teaching tasks forteachers according to their respective areas of expertise, striving for teachers to teach 5 days a week,schedule remedial activities, conduct lessons and try out, schedule an extra curricular curriculum,teaching for teachers about science and technology, and arranging a schedule of teacher meetings inturns. c) .The curriculum implementation includes early learning activities, learning methods, learningmedia, end activities of learning. d). Curriculum is a system that has components that are closely interrelated and support each other, which consists of goals, learning materials, methods and evaluation. Curriculum is one of the most important in the implementation of education. The curriculum is used as a reference for the implementation and indicators of the quality of education itself. Hence from that curriculum must be able to keep abreast of the development of science and technology which at any time always develops. Curriculum plays an important role for the success of education for students and educators. In its implementaion, curriculum management must be developed in accordance with the context of School Based Management (SBM) and Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and 2013 curriculum. curriculum management is related to the management of learning experiences that require certain strategies so as to produce learning productivity for students. Management of the curriculum must be directed so that the learning process runs well, with benchmarks for achieving goals by students so that educational goals can be achieved.

With the aim of seeing curriculum management in improving the quality of education through improving the quality of human resources. Efforts to improve the quality of education must be supported by all parties, including managers of educational institutions at the central, regional and school levels including in the classroom. In the implementation of decentralized education in the era of regional autonomy, each region should have its own quality improvement curriculum design which is an elaboration or implementation of the education curriculum set by the center. This is in accordance with the demands of the curriculum, where both local governments and even lower levels (schools) are given the freedom to describe quality improvement programs so that in the future each region competes with each other for the advancement of education in their respective regions. Good integrated curriculum planning affects the implementation of curriculum in a good boarding school environment. The impact has a positive nuance for the development of curriculum management in Madrasah. The purpose of this research is to reveal: How to plan integrated curriculum on Madrasah in the pesantren environment in improving the quality of existing teachers. The study used a qualitative approach with multi-case design. Data validity collection and verification techniques. The results showed that (1) Integrated curriculum management in Madrasah in the boarding school needs to coordinate so that the curriculum is in accordance with the needs in three research locations, (2) The principal activities at the Madrasah And teachers can provide information to convey activity materials to students (3) The involvement of the principal in curriculum planning in the institution of boarding schools can exist if supported by local and national subjects. The conclusion of this study as follows (1) can improve teacher's professional and quality of education, (2) can improve the professionalism of teachers and students by the guidance on the new curriculum, (3) can meet the needs of society.

Abstract: Implementation of Quality Management of Islamic Education in MAN I Tanjung Pandan has been done with the maximum. Efforts to improve the quality of education in this school began from the improvement of human resources standards both in the form of educators and learners and educational personnel. The manifestation of this improvement of human resources by implementing the quality standard of education that has been formulated based on Quality Management Principles of Education. In addition to human resources improvement is also seen in curriculum management, learning and classroom management and facilities management and infrastructure. On the basis of some specified managerials then all Teachers, Students and Educational Personnel must implement. If not perform in accordance with applicable proceduresand regulations then be subject to disciplinary strikes both on the Educator and the Learners. Abstrak: Implementasi Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan Islam di MAN I Tanjung Pandan sudah dilakukan dengan maksimal. Usaha untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Sekolah ini di mulai dari peningkatan standar sumber daya Manusia baik berupa pendidik maupun peserta didik dan tenaga kependidikan. Wujud dari peningkatan SDM ini dengan cara melaksanakan standar mutu pendidikan yang telah disusun berdasarkan Prinsip-prinsip Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan. Selain berupa SDM peningkatan juga terlihat pada manajemen Kurikulum, Manajemen pembelajaran dan kelas serta manajemen sarana dan prasarana. Atas dasar beberapa manajerial yang sudah ditentukan tersebut maka seluruh Guru, Siswa dan Tenaga kependidikan harus melaksanakan. Bila tidak melaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur dan peraturan yang berlaku maka dikenakan teguran disiplin baik pada Pendidik maupun pada Peserta Didik.
