This research had an objective to know the effect of ginger extract giving toward reparation of mucosal damage in ileal rats exposure by 5-fluorouracil. This research was a pure experiment with post test only control group design. We used 28 male Wistar Rats that were divided into 4 groups; control group, 5-FU group, 5-FU+ginger extract 9 mg dose group, and 5- FU+ginger extract 18 mg dose group. At days 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2 rats per day were killed by decapitation. Then the ileal rats were made to be sections and were colored by hematoxylin and eosin (HE). From each section, we measured height of 1 villi and depth of 1 cript in 3 vision field. The data obtained were analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test with SPSS for Windows Release 16.0 program. Kruskal-Wallis test showed mean of villus height had p-value = 0,083 in day 3, p-value = 0,083 in day 5, p-value = 0,139 in day 7, and p-value = 0,160 in day 9. Whereas mean of cript depth had p-value = 0,114 in day 3, p-value = 0,198 in day 5, p-value = 0,083 in day 7, and p-value = 0,092 in day 9. All of p-values showed p > 0.05 in which there were no significant differences. From this experiment, we concluded that there was no effect of ginger extract giving toward reparation of mucosal damage of ileal rats which exposure by 5-FU.

Abstract: Dysmenorrhoea, Ginger, Turmeric. The aim of this study was to determine differences in the effectiveness of ginger extract with turmeric extract on reducing pain in primary dysmenorrhoea on dormitory student at the Midwifery Department of Health Polytechnic of Surakarta. The design of this research is experimental design, with a truly experimental approach, using a pretest-post test control group design. Criteria sampling is purposive random sampling, a total sample of 60 respondents (55% of the population, nomogram Harry King Samples), divided into three equal groups: ginger extract treatment group, turmeric extract treatment group, and placebo group. Each group consists of 20 respondents. Results: the data was in a normal distribution, the total number of respondents at the end of the study was 56 respondents (ginger extract treatment=19, turmeric extract treatment= 19, and placebo=18). There are differences in the effectiveness of ginger extract with turmeric extract in reducing pain in primary dysmenorrhoea on dormitory student at the Midwifery Department of Health Polytechnic of Surakarta (p-value=0.04 <0.05). Extracts of ginger are more effective in reducing menstrual pain than turmeric extract (t-test = 9.690> 4.802).

Background: Smoking is something that is usual for most Indonesian society, especially adult males. According to Riskesdas, smoking behavior of the population trends to increase. A previous study suggested that exposure to cigarette smoke produce CO bond to hemoglobin. Melon (Cucumis melo) contains antioxidants that prevent tissue damage.Objective: Analyze differences in levels HbCO Wistar male rats in treated and untreated extracts of melon.Method: The research was a laboratory experiment with the post test control group design and complete random design. The subjects were 25 male Wistar rats aged 3 months. Subjects were divided into 5 groups and each group received treatment for 28 days. Data of level HbCO was collected and analyzed by Anova One Way test at 95% confidence level.Results: The results showed a difference between the average levels of HbCO male Wistar rats (p value=0,000) treated and untreated extracts of melon.Conclusion: Melon extracts effect on decreasing the levels of HbCO due to exposure to cigarette smoke. There were differences in levels of male Wistar rats HbCO on treated and untreated extracts of melon and be given at a dose of 250 IU/day.

Abstract Tujuan penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kreativitas matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pencapaian konsep lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran pencapaian konsep dengan tingkat kemampuan matematika siswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kreativitas matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Medan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 siswa dari 364 siswa SMA kelas X melalui teknik random sampling, Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-test-post-test control group design. Data diperoleh melalui nilai semester untuk kemampuan awal matematis (KAM), tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis, tes kemampuan kreativitas matematis. Data dianalisis dengan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tes kemampuan kreativitas eksperimen dan kontrol adalah 13,3 dan 7,58 dengan p-value (2-tailed) adalah 0, dengan 0 < α = 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan kemampuan kreativitas matematik siswa yang diajarkan dengan Model Pencapaian Konsep (MPK) dan Pendekatan Pembelajaran Konvensional, nilai signifikan sebesar 0,732, karena 0,732 > 0,05 maka tidak ada interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap perbedaan kemampuan kreativitas matematik siswa. .

ABSTRAK Imunisasi merupakan salah satu cara memberikan kekebalan tubuh pada anak untuk mencegah penyakit. Pemberian imunisasi melalui suntikan dapat menimbulkan efek secara langsung yaitu rasa nyeri pada anak. Nyeri yang disebabkan oleh suntikan imunisasi jika tidak dikelola akan mengakibatkan dampak negatif pada aspek emosional pada anak seperti menangis dan ketakutan. Salah satu intervensi yang dapat dikembangkan dalam menerapkan perawatan atraumatik saat pemberian imunisasi pada anak adalah terapi dekapan ibu. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektifitas terapi dekapan ibu terhadap nyeri pada bayi yang dilakukan imunisasi di Puskesmas Lerep. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  Preeksperimen design dengan rancangan pretest-post test control group design. Metode Pengambilan sampling menggunakan Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel pada kelompok kontrol sejumlah 30 bayi dan kelompok intervensi 30 bayi. Dalam penelitian ini ada 2 variabel yang diukur yaitu variabel Nyeri dan pemberian terapi dekapan ibu. Variabel nyeri diukur menggunakan instrument FLACC Pain Assessment Tools. Sedangkan variabel terapi dekapan ibu diukur dengan melakukan observasi saat pemberian imunisai. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah dengan  t test-independent. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah  p value 0,0001. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan selisih rata-rata nyeri pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol (p<0,05). Diharapakan Tenaga Kesehatan di Puskesmas menerapkan tindakan atraumatic care pada bayi yang akan dilakukan imunisasi dengan cara mengikutsertakan ibu dalam kegiatan imunisasi yaitu dengan dekapan ibu. Kata Kunci : Nyeri, Bayi, imunisasi dan dekapan ibu

Hipertensi merupakan faktor penyebab utama kematian akibat stroke dan jantung coroner. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi tekanan darah adalah aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas fisik jalan kaki terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi di Desa Sindangkasih Kecamatan Sindangkasih Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen pre-test post-test control group design. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling lansia  hipertensi derajat 1 dan diperoleh 30 responden yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tensimeter. Analisis data menggunakan  paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik pada responden kelompok intervensi sebesar 15 mmHg, sedangkan untuk penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah diastolic sebesar 13 mmHg. Pada kelompok kontrol terjadi penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebesar 4,3 mmHg dan penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah diastolik sebesar 4 mmHg. Hasil analisa data  menggunakan uji Independen Sample T-test didapatkan nilai signifikan p-value kelompok intervensi = 0,000 dengan ? = 0,05 .Karena p-value < 0,05 maka ada pengaruh aktivitas fisik jalan kaki terhadap tekanan darah pada lansia hipertensi di Desa Sindangkasih Kecamatan Sindangkasih Kabupaten Ciamis Tahun 2021. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adanya pengaruh aktivitas jalan kaki selama 30 menit terhadap tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik pada lansia hipertensi.

Abstract: Preeclampsia is multisystem specific disorder in pregnancy. Preeclampsia has signed byincreased cytokine Interleukin-6 and β hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin). Spirulina is green-bluealga has bioactive compound namely antioxidant, vitamin, mineral. And has benefit namelyantinflamation. The aim of this research was to know how spirulina influence to repair trophoblast inHcg concentration on rat pregnancy (biology material collecting). The type of this research is anexperimental laboratoric with post test only control group design. A total of 25 rats with pre-eclampsiamodels induced by Interleukin 6 are divided into 5 groups: the untreated control group, the positivecontrol group with Interleukin 6 induction for three days, the treatment group with a dose of 10 mg /day, 20 mg / day and 40 mg of spirulina. / day for five day, then the blood serum produced was measuredwith β hCG levels using ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay). The results of the Spirulina 10mg / day are higher at 85.11 ± 25.70 mIU / ml from a dose of spirulina 20 mg / day at 79.65 ± 10.65mIU / ml . In the level of β hCG, the dose group of spirulina 10 mg / day and the group there is nosignificant difference (0.730> 0.05), the β hCG level group of spirulina 40 mg / day was 93.28 ± 17, 12mIU / ml from the dose group of spirulina 10 mg / day was 85.11 ± 25.70 mIU / ml. The administrationof spirulina for five days was able to reduce β hCG levels at a dose of 10 mg / day, 20 mg / day and 40mg / day and the dose that was most effective in reducing β hCG levels significantly (P <0.05) was adose of 10 mg than dose of 20 mg / day and 40 mg / day.

Introduction: Cigarette smoke causes oxidative stress which results in reduced sperm concentration, motility and morphology, also increased levels of 8-OHdG as a marker of DNA damage. Vitamin C and E have potential role in repairing spermatozoa damages. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of vitamin C and E combination on sperm quality and cement 8-OHdG level of smoke exposed rats.Methods: This study used a post test only control group design among 18 male Wistar rats subject, aged 8 week, 150-200 grams body weight (BW). The subject was randomly divided into 3 groups, K1: control, K2: cigarettes smoke exposed, K3: cigarettes smoke exposed and given a combination of 0.045 mg/gBW vitamin C and 0.036 IU/gBW vitamin E per oral. Analysis was done on day 21 using one-way ANOVA and post-hoc LSD for sperm concentration, motility and morphology; using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests for cement 8- OHdG levels.Results: The lowest sperm concentration was found in   K2 (K2  32.59  million/mL,  K1 47.91 million/mL, K 339.43 million/mL); the lowest normal sperm motility was found in K2 (K 238.97%, K 164.57%, K3 51.43%); the lowest normal sperm morphology was found in K2 (K2 27.56%, K 138.36%, K 331.18%); and the highest cement 8- OHdG level was found in K2 (K2 20.18ng/mL, K1 3.43ng/mL, K3 5.28ng/mL).Conclusion: Combination of vitamin C and E can improve sperm concentration, motility and morphology and decrease cement 8-OHdG levels of smoke exposed rats.

Batik maked process especially �mbironi�, is done in sit position. If this position maintained for a long period, that could be cause muscle strain which may lead into musculoskeletal disorders. The research was aim to know the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) to reduced MSDs in hand-made batik workers. The research was quasy experimental by non-equivalent control group design. Subjects were 37 female handmade batik workers used purposive sampling. Data analysis used Friedman test and Wilcoxon test, then for two independent sample used Independent t Test and Mann Whitney test with significancy level at 5% or a = 0,05. Analysis result show that there is no difference in MSDs on experiment and control group after pre-test which had p-value = 0,371 (>0,05). The result of middle-test and post-test p value = 0,000 (<0,05) that there is significant mean difference of MSDs between experiment and control group. Based on the middle-test and post-test analysis result, it could be conclude that there is an effect of WSE to reduce MSDs of handmade batik workers.

Penyakit gagal ginjal kronis atau disingkat GGK, saat ini diakui sebagai prioritas kesehatan masyarakat di seluruh dunia. Pasien GGK akan mengalami  gangguan fisik dan psikologis sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas hidupnya. Teknik konservasi energi dengan pemberdayaan diri dapat diberikan pada pasien GGK dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan energi, mengurangi fatigue dan kualitas hidup dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan teknik konservasi energi dengan pemberdayaan diri terhadap kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik.Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah teknik konservasi energydengan pemberdayaan diridapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien GGK.   Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 47 orang untuk kelompok intervensi dan untuk kelompok kontrol 47 orang responden. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metoda kuasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan pre test – post test control group design. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai p value 0,000 maka dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara  kualitas hidup  kelompok kontrol dengankualitas hidup kelompok intervensi setelah dilakukan penerapan teknik konservasi energy. GGK patients will experience physical and psychological disorders that affect their quality of life. Energy conservation techniques with self-empowerment can be given to CRF patients with the aim of increasing energy, reducing fatigue and quality of life can be increased. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of energy conservation techniques with self-empowerment to the quality of life of patients with chronic renal failure. The hypothesis of this study is conservation techniques of energy with empowerment can improve the quality of life of patients with CRF. The respondents of this study were 47 people for the intervention group and for the control group 47 respondents. This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method with a pre test - post test control group design approach. The statistical test results obtained p value 0,000, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the quality of life of the control group and the quality of life of the intervention group after the application of energy conservation techniques. Abstract: Overtraining accelerates aging due to the excessive production of free radicals that can cause oxidative stress. Banana floret extract contains bioactive compounds with antioxidant capacity which can increase the body's defence to deal with the oxidative stress by increasing the level of superoxide dismutase (SOD). This study was aimed to prove that the banana (Musa x paradisiaca) floret extract could prevent the decrease of superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels in overtraining-induced mice (Mus musculus) BALB/c liver. This was a true experimental study with the post-test only control group design. Subjects were 36 male mice (Mus musculus), BALB/c strain, 12 weeks old, weighing 20-22 g, which were divided into two groups with 18 mice each. The control group (P0) was treated with a placebo of 1 ml aquadest and overtrained for 14 days meanwhile the treatment group (P1) was treated with banana (Musa x paradisiaca) floret extract of 400 mg/kgBW/day and overtrained for 14 days. The results showed that after 14-day treatment, the mean SOD level in the liver tissue of the P0 group was 568.82±9.558 U/mg protein whereas in the P1 group was 588.37±10.629 U/mg protein (P < 0.01). The t-independent test showed a t value of -5.804 and a P value of 0.000 which indicated that after treatment, the levels of SOD in liver tissue of both groups were significantly different. Conclusion: Banana (Musa x paradisiaca) floret extract could prevent the decrease of superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels in the liver tissue of overtraining-induced mice (Mus musculus) BALB/c.Keywords: banana floret, SOD, liver, overtrainingAbstrak: Aktivitas fisik berlebih mempercepat penuaan karena meningkatkan produksi radikal bebas yang dapat menyebabkan stres oksidatif. Ekstrak floret pisang mengandung senyawa bioaktif dengan kapasitas antioksidan yang dapat meningkatkan pertahanan tubuh dalam menghadapi stres oksidatif melalui peningkatan kadar superoksida dismutase (SOD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa pemberian ekstrak floret pisang raja (Musa x paradisiaca) dapat mencegah penurunan kadar SOD pada hati mencit (Mus musculus) BALB/c dengan aktivitas fisik berlebih. Jenis penelitian ialah eksperimental murni dengan post test only control group design. Subjek penelitian ialah 36 ekor mencit (Mus Musculus) BALB/c, jantan, berumur 12 minggu, berat badan 20-22 gr, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing berjumlah 18 ekor mencit. Kelompok kontrol (P0) diberikan plasebo berupa aquadest sebanyak 1 ml dengan aktivitas fisik berlebih selama 14 hari, dan kelompok perlakuan (P1) diberikan ekstrak floret pisang raja (Musa x paradisiaca) dosis 400 mg/kgBB mencit per hari dicampur aquadest hingga 1 ml dengan aktivitas fisik berlebih selama 14 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata kadar SOD jaringan hati pada kelompok kontrol (P0) sesudah perlakuan (post-test) ialah 568,82±9,558 U/mg protein, sedangkan pada kelompok perlakuan (P1) ialah 588,37± 10,629 U/mg protein. Analisis kemaknaan dengan T-Independent mendapatkan nilai t= -5,804 dan nilai P = 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa sesudah perlakuan (post-test), kadar SOD jaringan hati pada kedua kelompok berbeda sangat bermakna. Simpulan: Ekstrak floret pisang raja (Musa x paradisiaca) dapat mencegah penurunan kadar SOD pada hati mencit (Mus musculus) BALB/c dengan aktivitas fisik berlebih.Kata kunci: floret pisang raja, SOD, hati, aktivitas fisik berlebih
