The Anglophone Crisis is a conflict in the Southern Cameroons region of Cameroon, part of the long-standing Anglophone problem. The purpose of this study is to analyze the origin of the Anglophone problem in Cameroon. Equally, to identify and analyze the causes of the present Anglophone crisis in Cameroon and the rule of the US in finding a solution to the crisis. Research method was based on analyzing policy documents of US, Cameroon and the separatist of the Anglophone regions. Following up latest developments of the crisis was another main method used in the study. In September 2017, separatists in the Anglophone territories of Northwest Region and Southwest Region (collectively known as Southern Cameroons) declared the independence of Ambazonia and began fighting against the Government of Cameroon. Starting as a low-scale insurgency, the conflict spread to most parts of the Anglophone regions within a year. By the summer of 2019, the government controlled the major cities and parts of the countryside, while the separatists held parts of the countryside and regularly appeared in the major cities.The war has killed approximately 3,000 people and forced more than half a million people to flee their homes. Although 2019 has seen the first known instance of dialogue between Cameroon and the separatists, as well as a state-organized national dialogue and the granting of a special status to the Anglophone regions, the war continued to intensify in late 2019. The February 2020 Cameroonian parliamentary election brought further escalation, as the separatists became more assertive while Cameroon deployed additional forces. While the COVID-19 pandemic saw one armed group (SOCADEF) declare a unilateral ceasefire to combat the spread of the virus, other groups and the Cameroonian government ignored calls to follow suit and kept on fighting. With the enormous pressure by the US on the Cameroonian government, the government of Cameroon has not yet heed the call to stop fighting with the rebels of the Anglophone regions.

ABSTRACTThe radicalism movement is currently one of the centres of attention of the Indonesian government because several incidents have repeatedly occurred in Indonesia. The radicalism movement is a concept that wish changes in society using a narrow religious understanding base which usually leads to bomb terror acts. The Central Java region is one area that is often used as the basis of radicalism movements spreading across various regions. The government cooperates with several Islamic organizations, one of which is (Nahdlatul Ulama), to take part in preventing radicalism that can threaten the integrity of the nation and state. This article aims to reveal the role of Nahdlatul Ulama's national politics in repressing the radicalism movement in Indonesia, especially in the Pati Regency area. The research method applied is qualitative with a literature study approach and through interviews. The NU Branch Leader (PCNU) made several programs to repress radicalism in the Pati Regency area, among others, by solidifying students in the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association (IPNU) by holding Basic Leadership Training (LDK) in collaboration with the National Military Forces (TNI) and academics. In addition, Ansor and Banser of Pati Regency were active in conducting discussions with the theme of counteracting radicalism. These activities by Nahdlatul Ulama are effective in repressing radicalism in the Pati Branch area.  Keywords: national politics; radicalism; PCNU Pati Kabupaten.ABSTRAKGerakan radikalisme pada saat ini menjadi salah satu pusat perhatian pemerintah Indonesia karena berulang kali aksi ini terjadi di Indonesia. Gerakan radikalisme merupakan paham yang menginginkan perubahan dalam masyarakat yang seringnya menggunakan dasar pemahaman agama yang sempit yang biasanya berujung pada aksi teror bom. Wilayah Jawa Tengah merupakan salah satu wilayah yang sering menjadi basis gerakan radikalisme yang tersebar di berbagai daerah. Pemerintah menggandeng beberapa ormas Islam salah satunya adalah Nahdlatul Ulama yang ikut andil dalam rangka pencegahan radikalisme yang dapat mengancam keutuhan bangsa dan negara.  Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap peran politik kebangsaan Nahdlatul Ulama dalam membendung gerakan radikalisme di Indonesia khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Pati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur serta melalui wawancara. PCNU membuat beberapa program yang dilaksanakan dalam rangka membendung radikalisme di wilayah Kabupaten Pati antara lain dengan mensolidkan para pelajar dalam Ikatan Pelajar Nahdlatul Ulama (IPNU) dengan mengadakan Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan (LDK) yang bekerjasama dengan TNI maupun akademisi.  Selain itu Ansor dan Banser Kabupaten Pati aktif untuk melakukan diskusi dengan tema menangkal radikalisme. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut efektif dalam rangka membendung radikalisme oleh Nahdlatul Ulama di wilayah Cabang Pati.Kata kunci: politik kebangsaan; radikalisme; PCNU Kabupaten Pati.

The purpose of this study was to see the traditional cublak-cublak suweng game from D.I Yogyakarta, and the order for the character of responsibility for students. Knowing the method of implementing the cublak-cublek suweng game that can shape the character of responsibility for students. This research method is research research. The research subjects were research articles and web that discussed the cublak-cublak suweng game that could be accounted for for its authenticity and correctness. The scope of this research includes elementary school teachers, elementary school children, and the surrounding community who are familiar with this game, as well as the role of the government in preserving the cublak-cublak suweng game and applying it to elementary schools at this time.This research was conducted to explain whether the cublak-cublak suweng game in the present era can give pleasure after being played and the impact that occurs after being played 1) Introduction to what cublak-cublak suweng is and how to play it. 2) Implementation of the cublak-cublek suweng model that can develop the character of responsibility for students, 3) The effectiveness of the cublak-cublak suweng game in shaping the character of responsibility for students. 4) what are the effects if you continue to drink it again and again.

ABSTRAKJudul dari penelitian ini adalah Peran Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Rembang Dalam Menekan Angka Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Dengan Mengedepankan Standar Kompetensi Khusus Penyidik Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas. Tujuan penelitian ini bermaksud mengetahui peran Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Rembang yang bertindak selaku pejabat publik harus mampu membuat suatu kebijakan publik dalam memberikan pelayanannya kepada masyarakat, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian empiris yuridis. Dengan kesimpulan adanya permasalahan tingginya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas serta tingginya angka fatalitas dari tiap kecelakaan yang terjadi, Satlantas Polres Rembang mengambil suatu kebijakan dalam menjalankan tugas, fungsi dan perananannya sebagai representasi atau perpanjangan tangan dari pemerintah untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.Kata Kunci: Peran Satlantas, Kecelakaan lalu lintas, Penyidik laka lantas.ABSTRACTThe title of this research is the role of Satuan Lalu Polres Rembang traffic accidents rate by prioritizing the special competence standard of traffic accident investigator. Unit of Rembang Polres that act as public official must be able to make a public policy in giving its service to society, this study uses juridical empirical research method. With the conclusion of the problem of the high number of traffic accidents and the high number of fatality of each accident happened, Satlantas Rembang Police take a policy in carrying out its duties, functions and role as a representation or extension of the hand of the government to overcome the problem.Keywords: the role of the traffic unit, traffic accident, ������� traffic accident infestigator.

A nearshore wave forecasting system was implemented to elevate the ocean information resources in the US Pacific Northwest region. This implementation brings the US State of Oregon and the Southwest region of the state of Washington to the same level of prediction as the neighboring state of California and other regions of the country. It was achieved using the Wavewatch III numerical wave model, which was validated in intermediate to shallow waters. The forecasting system provides data at a 30 arc-second resolution from the shelf break up to a depth of 20 meters. The data is distributed to the public at no cost as part of a greater initiative put together by the Networked Association of Ocean Observing Systems. Information generated by this implementation is presently being used to provide boundary conditions to localized applications in the region as well as to beach users.

The specific purpose and target of this research is to determine the role of family welfare empowerment organizations (PKK) in the prevention and early handling of women and children victims of violence. The reason for researching this topic is the increase in the number of victims of violence against women and children every year. Based on data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, it is shown that since 2012 it has increased from 18,718 to 54,041 cases in June 2017 and until February 2018 it has shown 374 cases of violence against women and children. In this case, the Government is responsible for providing optimal services needed by victims, both medical, psychological, and legal assistance in an effort to recover their condition. The government in providing services to victims should cooperate and partner with the community, especially in the prevention and early handling of victims of violence. Prevention and early handling of victims of violence at the village level can empower family welfare empowerment organizations (PKK) which are government partners that are considered effective in the prevention and early handling of women and children victims of violence in their areas. Based on these reasons, it is necessary to study in depth the role of the PKK organization in preventing and early handling of women and children victims of violence. To achieve specific goals and targets in this study, the research method used is a normative research method with a statue approach and a conceptual approach.The results of the study provide an overview 1) there is a clear regulation in the laws and regulations related to the participation of the PKK in preventing and early handling of victims of violence, what needs to be further regulated is regulation in the form of Village Regulations and customary law (awig-awig) related to the participation of PKK and indigenous women in the prevention and early handling of victims of violence. 2) the procedures for preventing and early handling of victims of violence need to be stated in the operational standards in the village and the traditional village paparem.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the banking credit diversification strategy that can control credit risk and credit diversification can increase the profitability of banks in Indonesia. This study also aims to discuss the role of monitoring in the implementation of diversification and its impact on the performance of Indonesian banks. The theoretical benefits of this research contribute to banks, especially in evaluating banking diversification strategy policies. Is the credit diversification strategy can reduce credit risk and improve banking performance or vice versa. For customers / investors, this research is one of the information that can be considered in choosing a safe bank in terms of the level of credit risk and bank profitability. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that credit diversification is the right strategy applied to banks in Indonesia. The government needs to implement further policies that support the implementation of credit diversification, such as conducting credit analysis, monitoring and evaluation.

Al-Qur’ān has provided an ideal family description which is categorized as having to fulfill the elements of sakīnah, mawaddah, and rahmah. Therefore, the idea of family resilience emerged as a response to existing family problems. The changing era from time to time has been influencing the concept and practice of ideal family. This transformation brings about either negative or positive impact to family live. This became the Persistri's motivation to participate in overcoming family problems while maintaining and applying the teachings of the Qur’ān. The purpose of this study is to explore the Persistri's way of overcoming family problems and to explore the concept of family resilience in the version of the Persistri which is based on the verses of the Qur’ān. The research method used is qualitative with data collection based on the results of interviews and observations. This study finds that the existence of the Persistri is helpfull for societies, especially its members in dealing with family problem, the role of persistri in this case lies in its participation in streghtening the resilience of family, in which it is expected by Muslims and the government.

Abstract. Domestic violence is an issue that is considered a private household problem so it cannot merely be handled by the government or the authorities. For this reason, this study aimed to describe the important role of pastoral care in dealing with domestic violence. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative research method. Data was collected through observation, interview and literature study and analyzed in depth and described descriptively. The result was that pastoral care is an effective way to deal with the problem of domestic violence by not bringing it into the public sphere and creating peace between husband and wife.Abstrak. Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga merupakan isu yang dianggap sebagai persoalan privat rumah tangga sehingga tidak begitu saja dapat ditangani oleh pemerintah atau pihak yang berwajib. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pentingnya peran pelayanan pastoral dalam menangani masalah kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan serta dianalisa secara mendalam dan diuraikan secara deskriptif. Hasilnya adalah pelayanan pastoral merupakan cara yang efektif untuk menangani masalah kekerasan dalam rumah tangga oleh karena tidak membawanya ke ranah publik dan menciptakan perdamaian di antara suami istri.

Siosar is one of the tourist areas located in Karo Regency, North Sumatra. The tourism development of Siosar tourism area involves the roles of stakeholders, namely government, private sector and community. The role of stakeholders is needed to carry out development including tourism development so that it can be carried out optimally. Stakeholders are individuals or groups involved in tourism development. The purpose of this research is to analyze the roles of stakeholders in developing the tourism area of Siosar. The research method used is a literature review study. The results showed that the role of stakeholders in the development of the Siosar tourism area was not significant. Siosar is a tourist area that has natural potential, agro-tourism, and others that must be developed properly. Each stakeholder plays its role, but has not given optimal results, there are still imbalances in roles and the obstacles faced indicate that stakeholders have not fully played their roles, both the roles of the government, the private sector and the community. The role of stakeholders is not yet optimal because there is no cooperation and communication that is well established. The local government should have collaborated with the private sector and the community to make efforts in developing tourism, so that tourism development in the Siosar tourism area can be more optimal and significant.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate whether the macroeconomic effects of government spending shocks vary with the degree of macroeconomic uncertainty.Design/methodology/approachThe authors use quarterly US data from 1960 to 2017 and employ the Self-Exciting Interacted VAR (SEIVAR) to compute nonlinear generalized impulse response functions (GIRFs) to an orthogonalized government spending shock during tranquil and in uncertain times. The parsimonious design of the SEIVAR enables us to focus on extreme deciles of the uncertainty distribution and to control for the financing side of the government budget, monetary policy, financial frictions and consumer confidence.FindingsFiscal spending has positive output effects in tranquil times, but is contractionary during times of heightened macroeconomic uncertainty. The results indicate an important role of the endogenous response of macroeconomic uncertainty. Investigating different government spending purposes, only increases in research and development expenditures reduce uncertainty and boost output during uncertain times.Originality/valueThe authors contribute to the literature in using a method which allows to control for a large set of confounding factors and accounts for the uncertainty response.
