A stable agrarian sector is the basis of the progressive socio-economic development of any country. In this format, the functioning of market-based economic systems is particularly relevant to a life-sustaining industry such as agriculture and cattle breeding, in particular. It is a market with exhausting market mechanisms that can act as an economic regulator of relations between its participants, to formulate demand and supply, and to see «itself» in it is an actual and priority task. The sector of meat cattle breeding was a rather complex and time-consuming period of recognition of market relations, which, frankly, was accompanied by the emergence of a number of disproportions. As a result, the resources of the industry have been reduced considerably, the number of animals has sharply decreased, the links to processing and marketing enterprises have not been fully balanced, and so on. This affects the reduction of production of meat and meat products, respectively, in the formation of an efficient food market and the functioning of market relations in the agroindustrial complex in particular. It should be noted that the western region of Ukraine, including the Lviv region, has favorable natural, climatic and economic conditions for the efficient functioning and development of the market for meat cattle breeding. In this important, even historical, role is played by the fact that the population of the region has always been burdened with the development of individual private farms for the breeding of various types of livestock and poultry. And, it is probably objective, that in the agrarian sector of this region, the production of livestock products is more important. The analysis of the present situation shows that in a market economy, meat products market serves as a united system of activities of a large number of entities. Undoubtedly, all market participants have their own definite interest, which in certain situations may even be the opposite in the supply-demand stages. And the main factor here is that the commodity producer is doing everything possible to completely compensate for his expenses and to get the maximum possible profit in the form of profit. Of course, first of all, for further extended reproduction of its production (economy). That is why the main task of our research was to track whether the prevailing social and economic relations based on the production, processing, marketing and consumption of meat cattle-breeding are expressed in the meat-cattle market, and, by their effectiveness, act as a regulator of demand and suggestions

The discrepancy in price trends, the severe competition in the meat cattle market has affected shortened meat supplies and the supply of beef to the prices was reflected in the overall assessment of the circulation of these products in the market and statistics of the industry, in particular. Therefore, there is a situation where the supply is market in the range. The decrease in demand for meat products in connection with its increase in not balanced to demand. What causes this to happen? The analysis shows that in the development of meat cattle, a problematic situation associated with trends in socioeconomic life has occurred: low purchasing power of the population; rise in energy prices; an unequal exchange between processing enterprises and agriculture. Does not stimulate the development of the credit and tax system. This, in turn, led to a reduction in the number of animals, correspondingly a decrease in the volume of production of meat and meat products, and as a result, the level of consumption of products of the meat industry is lower than rational. As for meat cattle breeding, it should be noted that the industry has its own characteristics, not only technological but also economic ones. And if you look at the trends in the industry, the presence of its products in the market, then it would be justified and payback to work out a program of long-term development and market approval of meat cattle breeding products. What sequence of actions should help to solve perspective directions of development of the industry and its presence on the market of products? Where to start? An analysis of industry development suggests that such priority actions should be considered: substantiation of the number of livestock; analysis of animal productivity at different levels of feeding and production of beef; the correspondence of beef production to the processing capacity of raw materials; formation of volumes of market proposals for manufactured products; substantiation of the breakeven rate of meat cattle, taking into account the costs of production; аccording to market research data - the formation of demand in the meat products market; development of competitive principles, analysis of the participation of competitors in the market, studying the demand for products of the enterprise. It should be noted that during the years of Ukraine's independence, a number of important steps have been taken to reform the agro-industrial complex, however, in this important work, the formation of a modern market environment for meat cattle-breeding, in particular the formation of a complete market infrastructure, has not yet been completed in this important work. An important task is to improve the system of relations between the services of the marketing line – from the commodity producer to the consumer of products. Of course, the implementation of state incentives for beef production, as well as opportunities for increasing the purchasing power of the population, remains topical. Detected inconsistencies in the activities of meat market operators need to deepen research aimed at eliminating them, which will improve the actual state and improve the functioning of the market products industry.

The development of domestic agri-food production affects the ability to achieve many socio-economic goals – to meet the food needs of the population, supply of non-food raw materials for industrial enterprises, increase foreign exchange earnings from the growth of exports and more. An important role in this process belongs to the meat subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, which consists of agricultural producers engaged in animal husbandry, industrial enterprises engaged in the production of meat products and finished products, transport and trade infrastructure, ensuring the functioning of promotion channels and etc. The purpose of this article is research of problems of functioning of the national market of meat and meat products in general and meat subcomplex of agrarian and industrial complex in particular. The article examines the current state of the meat subcomplex of the agro-industrial complex. There is a continuing decline in livestock and beef, pork and lamb production. Poultry production is increasing through the use of innovative technologies. It indicates the formation of holding-type structures in meat production and processing and the disappearance of traditional vertically integrated cross-sectoral links. It is noted that in order to prevent the risks of food danger, it is necessary to stimulate the production of livestock products by small and medium-sized organizational forms of agricultural producers. Conclusions: 1) the crisis in the meat industry of Ukraine continues – over the past 30 years, the number of conventional livestock has decreased by 3 times and continues to decline; 2) during 2018-2019. there has been an increase in meat production only due to the accelerated decline in the number of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats; 3) in the period from 1990 to 2019. production of beef and veal, pork, lamb and goat decreased by 5.4, 2.2 and 3.3 times, respectively. The only industry in which there is an increase in production – poultry. This has been achieved through the use of advanced technologies; 4) agricultural enterprises have almost reached the pre-crisis share in the structure of meat production – 68.1% in 2019; 5) the share of the source of raw materials of meat processing plants «actually raised animals by processing enterprises» reached 81% in 2019. This indicates the formation of vertically integrated holding-type structures in meat production and processing, and the disappearance of traditional vertically integrated ties when raw material producers and processors were independent legal entities; 6) an additional source of raw materials that reduces the need of industrial enterprises in the formation and maintenance of their own raw material zones is the import of live animals, frozen products, offal, fat, food flour from meat or offal, etc.; 7) the development of agricultural holdings focused on the foreign market threatens the stability of the internal supply of food needs in meat and meat products. To neutralize the risks of food danger, it is necessary to implement a state program to stimulate the production of livestock products by small and medium-sized organizational forms of agricultural producers.

Ensuring food security of the country and individual regions is an important state task. In the Magadan Region the consumption of meat and meat products per capita per year is 68% of the recommended norm. In the structure of meat production, cattle occupy 16.4% of the total volume (or 107 tons). Where in the region have the necessary conditions for the development of beef cattle breeding. The relevance of the study is determined by the ability to predict indicators characterizing the meat productivity of livestock. The work was carried out to establish the relationship between exterior development and economically valuable traits of cross-breeding animals obtained by breeding dairy cattle with producers of meat breeds (Hereford, AberdeenAngus) in the circumstances of the Magadan Region. Correlation analysis revealed a strong reliable interdependence between live weight at 17 months with height at the withers and sacrum at 4 months age in groups of second-generation crossbred gobies with a correlation coefficient from 0.74 to 0.85. A positive relationship of varying strength (from weak to medium) of live weight with the measurements of the chest in all four experimental groups was established. The paired linear regression coefficients found during the regression analysis allow us to conclude that the most important criteria for selecting bulls for meat fattening are height measurements at the withers and in the sacrum. Models of multiple linear regressions describing the relationship of live weight and slaughter indicators with the exterior measurements of animals are constructed to determine the complex influence of factors.

The indicators that determine the change in the macroeconomic situation in the economy of Azerbaijan in 2010–2017, as well as the conditions for increasing the effectiveness of state intervention in solving economic problems are analyzed. It is noted that it is not the size of the public sector that becomes important, but its qualitative component (management and redistribution of resources and revenues, coordination of government intervention in economic relations). The main reasons limiting economic growth are identified, and the mechanisms for overcoming them are disclosed, since economic growth is of particular importance in the transformational period of state development. It substantiates the assertion that the forms and methods of state regulation should be the result of a reasonable combination of the private and public sectors of the economy to more effectively achieve the goal of economic development of the country and increase the welfare of the population. To this end, it is advisable to limit the actions of market forces and find a rational ratio of market and government measures that stimulate economic growth and development. It is shown that in the near future the development of the economy of Azerbaijan should be focused on the transition to the integration of various models of economic transformation; at the same time, “attraction of investments” should be carried out by methods of stimulating consumption, and the concept of a socially oriented economy, which the state also implements, should prevail, thereby ensuring social protection of the population and at the same time developing market relations. Disproportions in regional and sectoral development are also noted, which are the result of an ineffective distribution of goods produced, inadequate investment in human capital, a low level of coordination and stimulation of economic growth and development.

Current trends in meat and meat products exports are considered. The dynamics and structural changes in meat exports by types and degree of processing (beef and veal, pork, poultry, finished meat products) are analyzed. The paper proves that in recent years, only meat and edible poultry by-products have taken a competitive position in the world market. Accordingly, the dynamics of exports of this type of meat is positive, and the share of these products in the structure of exported meat is the largest (86.09%). Possible threats to the growth of import dependence on certain types of meat products, in particular, chilled and frozen beef and veal, pork, are indicated. The rating of the largest countries-importers of meat and meat products (by types) from Ukraine is built, their share in the structure of meat exports is determined. Changes in the geographical structure of exports have been studied, which indicate a low level of diversification of the geography of exports of certain types of meat (pork, beef). At the same time, a positive development of the geographical structure of poultry meat exports (exported to more than 100 countries) was revealed. Problems of the export potential development in the meat industry of Ukraine are revealed. In particular, the problems of livestock development (outdated technologies and production techniques that reduce the efficiency and productivity; inefficiency of the organization of purchase and processing of meat, which leads to reduced breeding in small businesses and households; inefficiency of state incentives, etc.) and industrial meat production (lack of raw materials, obsolescence of fixed assets and production technologies, poorly developed logistics, etc.). The solution of these problems requires: a systematic approach, which will encourage the cooperation of agricultural and industrial production, cooperation with importers of meat products and protection of domestic producers in the domestic and international markets, creating a favorable investment and information environment that will promote the meat industry development.

This article presents the results of studying the impact of housing and feeding conditions on broiler chickens of Hubbard RedBro cross, as well as the quality of products obtained when using floor and cage content, in a farm. It established that when receiving a mixed feed of own production using feed raw materials grown on a farm without the use of pesticides, a statistically significant decrease in potentially dangerous substances for animal health is recorded. Compared with factory feed, it has reduced the content of pesticides by 14 times, and mercury and arsenic by 24 times, cadmium by five times, and lead by ten times. The results of the study of economic indicators of growing Hubbard RedBro cross broiler chickens, as well as the chemical composition and quality of carcasses, indicated that there was no significant difference between the floor and cell conditions of keeping. Still, the use of a diet based on eco-feeds contributed to a statistically significant decrease in the concentration of toxic metals in the muscles of the poultry of the experimental groups. As a result, it found that the use of the studied compound feed in the diets of broiler chickens increased the indicators of Biosafety and ensured the production of environmentally safe ("organic") poultry meat products.
