It is not a secret that every student, sooner or later, gets a job. Some students start their professional activities from the first year to pay for their studies. Others get a job after an internship at a university, for the sake of professional experience or out of personal interest. Regardless of the reason for the student's employment during the educational process, we cannot deny that work takes time and quite often affects the academic performance and the amount of extracurricular activities of university students. This article presents the results of research on the popularity of the idea about working in a company or setting up ones own business. The research was carried out at Baikal State University by conducting a survey, which was completed by 1664 full-time students from the first to the fifth year. The data obtained as a result of the survey show that the majority of respondents have worked for a company at least once. The most popular reason for employment is the desire to earn money. A third of students want to become entrepreneurs in order to be able to earn more money. Most of the students are attracted to business in the service sector, where the organization of leisure activities comes first, then come marketing and, finally, financial services or legal services.

We present the results of an empirical study on the identification and analysis of the opinions of students and lecturers of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin on the impact of their relations system on the effectiveness of joint educational activities. The relevance of the study is justified by the need to identify the importance of personal contacts for the subjects of the educational process in the context of the proposed complete replacement of full-time lectures on online courses. The research program included two blocks: the identification of the positions of lecturers and students in the interaction, which reflect the features of the existing system of education at the university; the study and analysis of the impact of existing interaction on the at-titude of students to educational and professional activities. Satisfaction of students of higher educational institutions with their professional activities in todays reality is one of the key indicators which diagnoses the quality of specialists training and efficiency of professional competence development. Satisfaction assumes personal students inclusion in educational process which is inseparably linked with the personality relation to the quality of these or those objects, to living conditions and activity as well as to himself or herself. The assessment is the most important element of the emotional sphere of the person, emotions stimulate motivation to activity. We understand the integrated characteristic including motivational and emotional spheres of the personality as satisfaction. This estimated relations between trainers according to the activity which they carry out, its results and implementation conditions. Vocational training of cadets is carried out in specific conditions of their stay in barracks on the territory of departmental higher education institution. In the integrated characteristic of satisfaction of trainees vocational training included three criteria: satisfaction with the educational process; satisfaction with extracurricular activities; relationship satisfaction. The first criterion contains satisfaction: 1) organization of educational process; 2) level of teachers professionalism; 3) quality of teaching. We put satisfaction indicators into the second criterion: 1) organization of work of circles, sections and clubs; 2) organization of sports and mass actions; 3) organization of events which help to develop professional competence of a future officer of Penitentiary system. The third criterion assumes satisfaction with relations with teachers, with collective and the direct management. Questioning of the 2nd and the 5th year cadets of Samara Law Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia showed that by the 5th course the positive tendency in a satisfaction assessment is found with vocational training. The criterion satisfaction with extracurricular activities needs a separate additional analysis, as by the 5th course the amount of students satisfied with circles, sections and clubs is less than a third of a total number of the course students. By the third criterion some complexity in relationship with the direct management (with commanders of front divisions) is found out and it also should become a subject of special additional consideration.

The article deals with the use of foreign language distance learning for first-year foreign students of economic specialties. The implementation of distance learning is one of the ways to modernize the education in Ukraine in the context of globalization and the intensive development of information technologies. Distance technologies are now widely used in many fields of education, especially when teaching a foreign language to inophones. Creating an effective learning system, based on information technology, is an urgent task at all levels of education. One of the systems focused on the professional development of future specialists is the system of teaching students a foreign language using information technology. The possibilities of organizing the educational process are not limited to traditional and distance learning. There is a significant educational sector in which distance learning cannot be fully applied, but individual elements of e-learning can be used (in particular, distance learning technologies). It is referred to full-time and part-time (1-2 courses) forms of higher education. The mixed learning has become a special role as a more perfect model of the educational process organization, which takes the advantage of distance learning and compensates for these disadvantages. To improve the organization of the educational process for the language training of foreign students, we consider appropriate to use the materials of distance courses in the models of mixed learning. The options for integrating distance learning into the traditional system of language training for foreigners in the mixed learning models have been analyzed. When integrating the model into a traditional educational process at this stage of foreigners' training, it is suggested to use the distance course developed by us with the prevailing classroom component, because the degree of students' independent work in learning the teaching material of the discipline in the first year is not high. The structure and content of the distance course «Foreign Language» (educational-professional sphere of communication connection), designed on the Moodle platform, are considered in the article. The importance of using distance technologies in the process of organizing language training for foreign students is noted. It contributes to the formation of professional competence of future specialists in the field of economics.

Introduction. The socio-economic and political processes taking place in modern Russia pose new challenges to the student youth, as the most active subject of these processes. Ten years ago, it was enough for a qualified engineer to have professional knowledge, skills and abilities, but today, according to the requirements of higher education, he must have a management culture, information competence and legal literacy. The purpose of the study is to study the legal literacy of students of a technical university. Materials and methods. The materials of the study were the data of an anonymous sociological survey of 124 respondents – students of the Stupino branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th courses of full-time and part-time education by filling out Google forms. The obtained data allowed us to study the knowledge of the students of the technical university in the field of the basics of legal literacy. Results. Analysis of the data of a sociological survey of students' opinions showed that the overwhelming majority (96.5%) support the introduction of in-depth study of law enforcement practice in the educational process of a technical university. Students admitted (94.4% of respondents) that knowledge of the basics of civil, labor, tax, administrative and other branches of law will help them in their professional activities; 38.4% believe that they need additional knowledge in the field of law, while 62.9% had experience in concluding a civil contract (purchase and sale of an apartment, car, contract, delivery, provision of services, etc.), but 41.5% used the services of specialists (realtor, labor dispute commission, lawyers, etc.). Conclusion. Today, legal literacy of students determines the understanding of their role, opportunities and responsibilities in society, knowledge of their rights and obligations. Obtaining the necessary legal knowledge and skills for professional activity will allow students to independently understand the current laws, legal norms, understand them and apply them in their professional activities.

The introduction of distance technologies is necessary in the professional training of students, despite various assessments of its effectiveness. Hence the purpose of the study: to develop an upbringing system for students in a distance format and experimentally prove its impact on the main directions of upbringing of future teachers, in comparison with extracurricular activities in full-time mode. 156 undergraduate students took part in the experiment. Experimental research is the author's paradigm for the formation of youth upbringing in extracurricular activities, which includes six synergistically interrelated areas. The upbringing student system developed in the study was tested in two formats of implementation: in full-time format at the first stage of the study and in distance format in the second half of the study. The statistical data obtained during the study confirm the effectiveness of the implementation of extracurricular activities for the formation of the upbringing of future teachers only in full-time format. The introduction of distance technologies in the implementation of upbringing extracurricular activities does not have a positive effect on students, but in some areas has an opposite negative effect. The practical significance of the study is determined by the introduction of a self-analysis and monitoring system into the educational process through the use of Facebook and VKontakte social networks.
